Looking for a great hole in the wall Chinese Buffet experience? You just freaking found it. Don't let the super basic name or the super basic clientele distract you. The main reason to go: the Bourbon Chicken. Oh my gawd. The to-go box is super reasonable and for 8.50 you can grab ten pounds of heart attack fodder and bounce, because less face it, the customers are kinda scary. Oh and they have sushi. It's basic, but very decent.

One star for cleanliness and one for the waitstaff. All just very standard Americanized Chinese buffet fare. The bourbon chicken was not like I have tasted anywhere else (not good). One item for the sushi selection and it sat untouched by anyone the whole time I was in there. Everything was just ok. Saturday dinner with hot tea was $11.05 with tax. So left full, and didn't kill the wallet.

If you know me, you know I'm always on the hunt for the best buffet to eat at. China King isn't the BEST Chinese buffet in Tulsa, but it's definitely up there. I didn't have any issues about the food not being hot or the service - our plates were always taken away immediately and our waters never went empty. Food was constantly being refilled the whole time we were there (Saturday at lunch). There was also a surprising amount of people there (almost a full restaurant), so obviously they have something good going. Definitely an awesome value for the price. Except I think they use crazy amounts of msg. I was crazy thirsty an hour after I was done eating.

No flavor to food. What other Chinese restaurant can you get onion rings, garlic bread, French fries? Very disappointing to have a restaurant like this. I have had better!

Okay, so I happen to very much enjoy this buffet. Been here about 10 times and the food is always fresh. I like 90% of what they serve. Everywhere I live I have to find my "fall-back" Chinese Buffet. This is definitely it for me... when I want to go out and know I'm going to just enjoy it, this is my spot. The service is not fantastic, but they aren't rude or anything either. They just don't give you a very personal impression. Avoid the crab rangoons, but otherwise... pig out!

The food was much better today than usual, it was hot. This is usually the place for lots of warm, nice looking, mediocre food. Since it was hot, it was elevates to the good range. The wonton soup was delicious for the first time ever There is a huge variety of food and dessert. I didn't try any of the dessert items, I usually don't like any of their things. The staff are friendly and most speak little English. The physical plant is old and worn, but looked cleaner than usual too. It is definitely worth $7.79 for all you can eat, even when it is not hot.

We tried China King, hoping to find a good buffet. Sadly we did not. It was not clean, tables not bussed, never got a refill for my water. The food was not good, it tasted like it had been sitting out for hours, dry. We will not be back.

Not a bad joint. Great buffet and sushi bar. all you can eat. Gets a 4 star instead of 5 because the seating accommodates small people but chunky people have to push it around a bit to get into a booth.

Came here on a Sunday and it was full of people but I have no idea why!!! The establishment is not clean, the food was cold, but worst of all it tasted horrible! I just sat there looking around wondering how people could eat the food. The buffet was cheap but I was looking for quality!

A stone's throw from Burger King but nothing royal here. Good value for the money. Seems clear that several Chinese troughs can battle for "the best of the mediorce" on any given Sunday.

Great place to get real value for your dollars. Excellent selections and always wonderful service. Busy people keep buffet well stocked. The cold boiled shrimp have always been firm and tasted fresh. I try to get there every week!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
