Thanks yelp! You served me well today. I was craving BBQ and it appeared most all the BBQ restaurants in Tulsa are closed on Mondays but I lucked out and discovered this gem! I ordered the 3 meet combo, BBQ ribs, smoked Bologna and pulled pork. The ribs were very meaty and fell off the bone but lacked rub/spice. If I could only rate the BBQ on tenderness it would have been easily 4 stars. The pulled pork was more like chopped pork but still good. The Bologna was delicious! I couldn't resist. The combo came with two sides..coleslaw and a baked potato for which I paid a little more. It was worth it! The baked potato was served with cheese and had my favorite seasoning salt and boy oh boy was it good. Really good. Coleslaw was ok...two bites and I was done. I'm not a huge BBQ sauce kinda guy but I did try both that were on the table. One was to die for...had a little kick and complimented the chopped pork very well. My only complaint...no green veggies, with limited sides. $17.00

I got the ribs, fried okra and corn nuggets the meat was good fell right off the ribs. Okra was good I love corn nuggets they are seeming to get more popular. My husband got the three meat; brisket, hot links and bologna with fries and onion rings. He really liked the onion rings the rest was ok, he loves spicy food and said it wasn't spicy at all he used a lot of Louisiana hot sauce to even get a tingle in his mouth lol. Nice people clean place. It was very cold in there when we went.

By far the best bbq I have had since leaving Texas. Someone bought out the brisket before I got there, so I had ribs, hot link Bologna, coleslaw, beans and okra. Ribs don't need sauce and sides where perfect. Baked beans I don't usually care for but theirs had a touch of spiciness that had me coming back bite after bite. The place was very clean and smelled of hickory heaven. I drove 20 miles to eat here for my first time. I would drive a 100 my second. Did I say I love bbq and am very critical.

It was what I expected from a BBQ joint but not anything more.

I work about 100 yards from this place, and they give our office a discount. These two facts cause me to eat here a few times a week. It's solid BBQ. The sauce is tasty, the meat is well cooked, and sides are good. The negatives are solely based on speed and environment. It's very disorganized, and if the part of the store that the customer can see is disorganized what is the rest like. It simply takes too long for the food to get out. Bottom line, it's good food at an affordable price that's next door. I'll keep visiting, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

So good! Great service, clean restaurant, and, of course, great tasting BBQ. The best I've had in Tulsa so far. Me and my fiancé split the meal with pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken, corn nuggets, and coleslaw. We were both stuffed afterwards. Check them out if you love BBQ, you won't be disappointed.

Thank goodness we had a groupon. Or else we wouldn't have eaten here. The food was so hot and spicy, we couldn't even enjoy it. My hubby, who adores wasabi, thought the food was too hot. The fries were so spicy, I couldn't eat them. My chicken wasn't too bad though. While the meal was free with the groupon, we don't plan to return.

Saw a Groupon and went in to try it out. I checked out Yelp and read a review stating it was super spicy and I knew I had to try it. So, I ordered the 2 meat dinner, spicy, and got ready to enjoy some Chicken and Chopped Brisket! I enjoyed the brisket, but there was no spice. That was a disappointment, but the meat was good enough that I was able to enjoy it. I was hoping that it would be spicier than Head Country's Hot BBQ Sauce, though. I'm starting to wonder if the person that went on about the level of spice was reviewing the right place. The chicken was a bit dry, but the brisket filled me up. I don't normally order chicken, so I can't speak to the quality compared to other places. But, I will stick to the brisket going forward. The fries were normal steak fries, but my okra order was a bit overcooked. I was alone in the restaurant, which might have been the issue, but I only know this okra wasn't great. I look forward to getting the Groupon and trying this place again. Hopefully, they will get some more spice between now and then!

Holy BBQ HEAVEN! Went here for the first time tonight. It was incredible. My nephew and I shared the dinner for two. We are both large people. By large I mean really big. We were stuffed. Had the sliced brisket, pulled pork, hot links and ribs. Everything was very very good. Our side were fried okra, fries and potato salad. All equally good. We finished the meal with pie. Glorious, spectacular, heaven came to Oklahoma pie. My nephew had the coconut cream. I had buttermilk. I am filled with the urge to hug the baker. I can not recommend Capps enough. Go there now!

3rd visit was all good. I had brisket and ribs with a buddy. If anything this place just keeps getting better.

The cashier was so rude that we just left. Telling a customer that they need to learn how to read is unacceptable for any business, When I tried to explain that due to my disability I could not sit in their hard chairs I was told "too bad". NEVER is this acceptable and is a violation if the American with disabilities act!!!

Great smoky taste! It melted in your mouth. Had chicken, brisket, pork together with okra, cole slaw and rings. Dinner for 2 will probably feed us twice. Delicious!

In my continuing search for new locations for smoked meat, my wife and I happened on Capp's BBQ, recently opened on East 11th. The first thing I noticed after entering the parking area was the smell of hickory wood, which is always a good sign for a barbeque joint. We entered the building and were warmly greeted by the staff. Capp's allows ordering at the counter and so we stepped up to do the deed. A chalkboard had the menu listed and the usual meats are available: pork ribs, sliced and chopped brisket, pulled pork, smoked turkey, smoked bologna, and hot links. We ordered dinner for two that included four meats and three sides for, believe it or not, $19.99! Such a deal! We ordered both sliced and chopped brisket, pulled pork and smoked bologna. Our sides were bbq beans, cole slaw and potato salad. Pickles, peppers and Texas Toast accompanied this feast. The tray of food brought to us was loaded, more than enough for two people. The sliced brisket was tender and has a distinct smoke ring, and the chopped brisket included some of the bark. Very good. The pulled pork also was a mix of bark and white meat and all of these meats could be complimented with either sweet or hot sauce at the table. The sides were also amazing. The beans were well seasoned with onion and bits of brisket and the potato salad was one of the best I've had in any restaurant. Ditto for the cole slaw. Drinks are available in a self-serve fountain. This was an amazing meal. Capp's, in my humble opinion, is an outstanding addition to the barbeque scene in Tulsa. The meat was nicely smoked and the portion size was an excellent value. I'll add pictures after the next visit.

FINALLY!!!!! Decent BBQ!! *disclaimer, i am a believer that you shouldn't NEED sauce on your meats-just an added bonus* the portion was huge, I had the ribs and brisket and baked beans and potato salad. the ribs were juicey and tender, falling off the bone. the brisket had a nice flavor but was a little dry (i really need to stop ordering brisket places, because mine cannot be beat) Delicious. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere.
