My husband and I tried this place again for lunch since the first time the service was awful. With only 6 other people in the restaurant we figured it would be a good quick lunch. Dealing with a waitress that acted like it was a burden that we walked in, it taking 40 mins for a cobb salad and not having our drinks refilled once. On a side note we got to watch the manager on duty drop the f word and GD word countless times while he told a story to 5 other waitress while they sat around. For a restaurant that had more wait staff than customers at the time we expected more from Baker St. We will not be back.

It's a great place to hang out & drink. Music all night, & good tequila shots. Good games, but incomplete games. What really bothers me is the fact that they start kicking you out at 1:40-1:45. Darts that's what made my night :)

Stopped by for an early dinner and tried the new Guiness pot roast...not normally a fan of the food here but pleasantly surprised. My wife likes the bar and Woodchuck cider so here we are every so often but this is something I will come back for... Service still so so but drinks and the pot roast are great...Andra says the cider and salads are too...

Don't come hungry, you will have time to work up an appetite while you wait for a server. It is good food, but I always wish the service was better. They show the Women's World Cup, have trivia, bingo, and an awesome burger deal on Mondays. I would have ordered several more drinks while I was there, but in 3 hours, I saw the server 4 times and most were drop offs and trying to get to the next table. So, good food, lots of stuff going on, but it takes a bit to order. I'll be back, but will use the bar for my drink orders even when at a table.

Interesting place, but painfully corporate atmosphere. Example; About 5 minutes into being there (and peacefully sitting at our table not being even close to rowdy in any way) an employee came up and rather condescendingly told my friend to turn his hat around - and right at that moment in a small burst of irony, Nelly's "ride with me" came on the jukebox, the whole bar shouting the chorus "AYYY IT MUST BE THE MONEYYY". It's funny because the backwards hat thing is most likely in place to deter a hip hop crowd. Its stupid little decisions the idiots "upstairs" make that do nothing but turn away a customer who would have otherwise enjoyed their experience. I would understand if it were gang colors, or even a tank top (as most bars rule those out), but what threat does the direction of one's hat really pose? Sure, he turned his hat around and we went on with our night. Point is, it immediately made us less pleased with our experience due to the pure pettiness of it. I like the place, but probably wont be back. Im a guy with long hair so they might tell me to turn it around, and i wont be able to see.

My absolute favorite bar in Tulsa! Great vibe, good music, live music 3 times a week, great food, the waitresses are a little slow but the bartenders rock and they always take care of me. I absolutely adore Baker and wouldn't pick any other place over it!

Going to try something new-Welsh Rarebit sandwich. So, not having had it before, I was not sure what to expect. It was sliced turkey that was grilled, layered on toast with some kind of sauce on top. I couldn't identify all the flavors. It was good, but different from what I am used to. I probably won't get it again. The salad was lettuce, tomatoes, carrot strips and done red cabbage. Not anything too unique, but adequate. The French fries were awesome! I would definitely come back for them. Next time I'll try something American! The service was slow. Our drinks were not filled very often I can't give it a great rating for service. I will try again. Perhaps it wi be better a second time.

A wide variety of standard English pub and bar food that's pretty decent. Also a good variety of beer selections and bar options. That also have some fairly good drink specials. The spotty service and surprisingly crowded seating arrangements brings this place down a few stars. We've been before and been seated and waited over 20 minutes before a server came over. Other times our order was taken and food delivered promptly, but server never came back around to check on us. Honestly feel that if you are not at the bar and actively drinking, you're not going to get noticed. Better as a lunch spot then a dinner place.

My husband and I went here for dinner and it was as good as ever! We had not dined there in a while and decided to try it again. I ordered the fish and chips and Kenny ordered the Reuben. The service was excellent; we didn't have to wait long for our appetizer, the chips and salsa to come out. The fish was delicious! It was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Kenny liked his Reuben and chips. We watched the World Cup on the television and we enjoyed our time there. We will be back.

Baker Street is the place for those living in South Tulsa who don't want to drive downtown, but still want to feel like they've "gone out" for the night. There's a lively cover band on weekend nights, live trivia, and karaoke during the week, it's smoke-free, and never a cover to get in. During the day it's a regular restaurant serving British and American style fare (I'd recommend the fish and chips). So if you're in the mood to dance and have a few drinks, this is the place to be in south side of town on the weekends. You can also order from the kitchen until about 1am, so it's a one-stop shop for a light night nosh. It's great for groups and they will accommodate larger parties up towards the dance floor. During the day you wouldn't know it turns into a club like atmosphere at night, so bring the whole family for some decent food and reasonable prices. If it's nice out, I recommend sitting on the outdoor patio - they even have a fire pit for those chilly nights! Great for: Parties, food, patio dining, live music, dancing, large groups, family dining (during the day/early evening)

Being from out of town, we did not know where to go? We found the listing and great reviews on Yelp, just happened to be close so we thought we'd give it a try. Great atmosphere, great drink selections, great beers, waitress was very pleasant and knowledgable of menu items. We'll definitely return next trip to Tulsa.

Food was terrible. Tasteless and gelatinous. Service was good, but it could not repair the damage from inedible food.

I love the food, the atmosphere and the live bands! Serves can sometimes be slow but I have never had a "bad" waitress while at a table or at the bar. With that being said.... I will never forget my experience with placing an order for pickup. The female bartender was incredibly rude on the phone and worse in person. She never said "hello", "thank you" or gave the amount of my order before picking up my credit card. She seemed chatty with the gentlemen who appeared to be her friend's and two co-workers. I live more than 25 minutes from the location, so even though my BBQ sandwich had to have been dropped or shaken while in the to-go box, I was not going to drive back. The food in the second to-box was perfect. I have not been back since.

Solidly good food and a decent beer collection. The live music is usually really good. Just nothing super outstanding about the place. ... would revisit.

I came here to watch the National Championship game. During the game the pub had approximately 20 customers scattered about. There were 7 people on staff and 2 were behind the bar. On multiple occasions I had ordered a drink at the bar and received a spiteful attitude from the only useful bartender there. Even after tipping the appreciation seemed redundant. This place has good TV's, but the service here is a joke. Not worth the price or the hassle.

Don't go after the lunch hour with a good size group because the service is SLOWOOOOOOO. Drinks took 20 minutes with only 3 groups of 4 or less in the whole place and then and only then could we order lunch. The food then took another 30 minutes, must be the slowest kitchen on the planet, which made for a 90 minute lunch between 1:15pm and 2:45. I paid cash so as to speed things up while people with credit cards were there another 15 minutes. We had to request a second waitress, which with a group of 14 we thought reasonable in order to speed things up. The young ladies were working with what they had but with a slow bartender and a one man cook it took forever. We won't be going back.

We're about 3 rounds into life-sized Jenga, so that might be all the review you need. 80's cover band was right on, and the drink selection was fantastic. They have all day Happy Hour prices on Sunday and a delicious brunch Saturday-Sunday 11am-2pm. Hint: If you're looking to relieve yourself, search for the bookshelf.

Large bar area and a great place to mingle. They have a fairly large menu but I would not consider this a date night dinner place. It's a bar. That's my opinion. It has several options for a nice place to hang out. It has an outdoor fire pit with seating. There is an indoor fireplace with living room furniture around it. Cool relaxed area. There are booths and high top tables. After happy hr it is what I'd consider a singles bar. (Nothing wrong with it just being informative) It has live cover bands late evening.

I love this place. The food is great and the environment is fun. The live band on the weekends is a lot of fun especially when you get up and dance.

Great atmosphere! Good music when the band is in town. The food is ok, nothing to "slap your momma about". I had the fish and chips. It was tasty but $$ for fish sticks and fries. Service is excellent.

I had been here a few times and though the food is good, it didn't beat out some of my favorites. We went again last Wednesday for live event trivia. I have done LET at a few different places and didn't think the set up was as good here. One big screen isn't as good as several small screens throughout. My chicken sandwich and fries were good. Our waitress was hit or miss however.

The coolest okace to hang out in South Tulsa. A very lively place, cool bartenders and crowd. Carrisa is the hottest bartender, down to earth and with great service to clients. Check it out!!!!!!

Went in for lunch. Food was amazing and had plenty of leftovers. Service wasn't the best, had to ask the waitresses for things numerous times and waited forever for our check. Cool decor and the bathrooms are hidden behind bookshelves that open up. Pretty cool place!

  • Barbara W.

I like this place for the atmosphere, and they have decent pub food. The entree portions are not very large, but they have some shareable-sized apps. I still haven't really figured out how the service here works. You seat yourself most of the time, but it's hard to get the wait staff to notice so that you can order, especially if they're busy.

Hm, I'm not kind of a fan of this business, and it's just OK-ish. Let me thinks.... - I admit I can NOT stand of that waiting for my order in 1 and half hours, while my boyfriend and I are on date. GRRR. - The staffs are almost friendly, and sometimes confuse what does my boyfriend hardly speak, like read a lip. Next time, I will get some papers and pen for my own. - Their foods were AWESOME delicious, I've been tasted! You can visit their business and try to taste their menus and I warn you to have be careful to read it. (To: my friends)

The food wasn't the best pub food I've ever had but I wasn't expecting much. The prices were good for the amount of food you get. I got the full-size fish & chips for $11 and I could have easily split it with someone (and I'm a big dude). If I get it again, I will definitely go with the half-size. The service is average. They do have a patio, which is a plus if you're looking for some outside dining on a nice day. I got the Scotch Egg for an appetizer, but I wouldn't get it again. It's a single hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage, and it's a little pricey ($6.99) for what it is.

  • Julie P.

Service is bad and the bartenders are very rude. The food is alright. I liked the fish and chips. Drinks are unimpressive. The decor is really the only good thing I can say about the place. It's always overly packed on weekends and they let people in even though they can't accommodate everyone. It's like they're trying to also be a dance club and it's really annoying for those who going in thinking they'll get service or to eat.

For our post Route 66 Marathon celebratory dinner, we all went out to this place - at the suggestion of one of my friends. This place comes across like a sports bar and a Chills. The ambiance was pretty cool, especially with the televisions that were strewn across the restaurant that just was tuned into the NFL football game that was currently playing at the time. I told one of my friends that I didn't have had Shepard's pie before and encouraged me to try it. I would try anything just once and I was happy that it was a good choice. I did love the combination of mashed potatoes and cheese. That totally set the mood up for the burger that was soon to come. I also had the blue and black burger, which tasted like a burger from 5 Guys, but more upscale, since we were dining at a restaurant and not at a fast food counter. I could have had beer, but not at that time. Little did I know that I would have gone bowling later that evening at the AMC Sheridan Lanes and drink a pitcher load of beer. Oh lord, fun times indeed! The service was good and average. Nothing beats that. The server checked on us periodically and that was great. The atmosphere was great and the mood was nice to be there and not have to run a marathon the next morning. I somehow felt like I was at a Chilis at one point of the night, but it was alright. The most interesting thing this restaurant has was their bathrooms. Since the entrance to the men's restroom looked basically like a book shelf, it was pretty ironic where you would have to "push the book shelf" to get to the bathroom. There were two instances where we had to direct a couple of elderly people to do such that. The prices here were comparable to pretty much anywhere you would go to dine out. Burgers are roughly $8-10 and the steaks are about $13-20, depending on what choice cut you would desire. Plenty of choices here to sink your taste buds into. From salads to burgers to their house specialities, Baker Street has it all at an affordable price. I would probably come back here if I were in the area again. Overall, this place is good. Recommended to get your drink on - and then some! Support local! B

I went there on a Tuesday night, when they advertise having a $5 burger. When I ordered, I was told: 1) fries did NOT come with that, as they do on the regular menu, that would be extra, 2) cheese did NOT come with that, that would also be extra, and 3) the bun was huge, but the beef patty was sort of small, about a 3-1 bun-to-meat ratio. The waitress believed it was a "special size for the special". My problem with all this is, it's quite deceptive, isn't it? None of this was mentioned in the ad, as it should have been. By the time you paid for all these extras, you are paying almost as much as you would normally. Not much of a special, huh? Just a ploy to get you in the door, then spend a bunch more. What there was of the burger tasted good, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. That tactic will only work once on anyone with a brain, then they will just be offended and never come back. Isn't the point of a special to bring in new customers that will keep coming back? Think about it, won't you?

The food deserves a 5 but I wasn't a fan of the atmosphere. It was soooo LOUD and not from people talking...it was the TV. At one point there was a big boom noise from the television and it shook everyones tables. Like I said though, the food was great. I'm a huge fan of mashed potatoes and theres are sooo good. Yum!

Ok pub food, nothing special. We had the calamari and spinach dip appetizers. Calamari was over cooked, the dip was more like spinach queso way more cheese than spinach. My wife had the fried fish & shrimp with fries, she said it was good but there are places in Tulsa with much better fish & chips. I had the black and blue burger, it was juicy and had good flavor. Unfortunately, the fries that came with it were cold. They do have good selection of beer, both draft and bottled. A much better place to stop by for a drink and snack than for dinner.

Baker St is a great place if you're looking to grab some bar food and hang out for a bit. They also have a great outdoor seating area as well. Food wise it's pretty good for a pub. I love the bangers and mash that comes with green beans. The mashed potatoes are creamy and delicious! We were also in the mood for fried pickles one day and even though it's not actually on the menu, they still made it happen and it sure was good. Some cons about the place are that the live music is blaring making it difficult to hold a conversation without yelling and the "Affliction" guys that frequent the place. Also, the bathroom is tricky to find especially if you're had a few. It blends into the wall! Other than that, Baker St is A-OK in my book.

We had a great experience! My husband and i were in town for a ORU graduation and were looking for a good place to eat. There is a Baker Street in Denver that we were familiar with and figured this would be a great place to go in Tulsa. Our server was very attentive and had a great attitude. The atmosphere was enjoyable and welcoming. If it wasn't so windy out we would have sat on the patio. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in Tulsa or is visiting. Our server also knew we were visiting and recommended a great part of town to go for an after dinner drink. Great experience!

Band was great. Haven't heard a cover band with horns in quite some time. Atmosphere was really cool. Secret library doors to bathrooms. Sherlock Holmes motif throughout. One downfall was they did not have a vegetarian friendly menu. Everything had some element of meat in it.

I had a few complaints as well as things I enjoyed about Baker Street. First off it isn't near as cool as the one in OKC, they have a few servers that aren't properly trained before being thrown out on the floor, & they need to make their beverages a tad stronger. Oh and one more thing- Just because you have a live band, does NOT mean that it needs to be so loud that you can't hear each other talk right at your table. I did like the atmosphere, it was quaint and dim and I loved all the old books everywhere. The group that I came with didn't really come to eat so I can't review that but they have good salsa and decent potato skins... :D

Went there a few nights ago with my wife and a couple of friends. One of my friends started to talk to a group of girls who apparently were married, as we later found out. It also turns out that some random people in the bar knew that they were married and did not like us talking to them. So those people told the manager to escort us out. WTF! Our friend got escorted out, and we were told by the manager that our friend was waiting for us at the front. BS!!!! That is a BS move. What a D-bag all the way. And they wouldn't let our friend in at all later that night. Complete ridiculousness. What a turd of an establishment.

We checked out Baker Street within a few days of its opening, and we were happy with the beer selection and the food! We enjoyed the indoor area and are looking forward to watching some football there in the future. The outdoor seating area looked very inviting and I would love to go back on a nice evening and enjoy some drinks out there. The waitresses all seemed young and were still learning the ropes, but they were friendly and to me that is what matters the most.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was good. I look forward to trying more fare over here. I had the lunch special of fish and chips, large pieces of fish with nice flavor and texture.

First time at the restaurant and I had high expectations although I should have known better. While it looks cozy and comfortable, and the service was good, the food was awful. Typical chain food - generic, badly done, mostly frozen food - all fried and very bland. The Scotch egg was the most palatable of our whole order. Calamari was to put it mildly - "disgusting". It was overcooked to the point of being like jerky, and was bunched together in a big ball that was bigger than a baseball. We had to pull pieces off to try and eat it - and were unable to chew it. Fish and chips was a travesty - there was so much batter or shall I say 'dough", because that is what it was. More dough than fish. Sliders were dry and uninteresting. Fries were tasteless and withered...all in all, one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. I will definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. Come on Tulsa, does anyone know about good, fresh food here?

Tried this place recently. Atmosphere in the pub was great, nice crowd and decor. There was a game starting we wanted to see and a waitress assured us it would be on. The apps were good, can't complain. Our main courses arrived literally less than 3 minutes after our apps though, and the waitress didn't seem to care just put them down and left. Mains were not good, soggy bland doughy fish, and the salad tasted like the ingredients were really cheap. Horrible dressing, stale croutons. No sign of the game, asked again and 10-15 mins later still no sign. So we paid up and left. Not impressed.

Decided to give this place a try b/c my husband saw their sign on our morning commute. I would have given this place a 4th star if they had stayed true to the no one under 21 thing - it's a bar for goodness sakes! I'm not being picky about a high schooler or even someone just shy of 21 being in there - someone brought a 4 year old with them who continually banged their silverware on their plate. No place is safe if a bar isn't kid free. My husband and I got there around 5pm and were seated by a hostess. From reviews of other locations of this chain I didn't expect to see a hostess, but it was a Tuesday so maybe other people were talking about the weekends being seat yourself? We were sat in the area in front of the stage, which was also where a huge group of senior citizens were gathered for someone's birthday. All of the waitresses were working together on those 2 very large tables, so service was a little slow but not bad considering. We started off with the Triple Dipper appetizer which is chips, salsa, queso, and spinach artichoke dip. The chips tasted fresh (not stale), the queso and salsa were good....my only problem was the spinach artichoke dip. It was a little watery, not the best i've ever had, but not terrible enough to keep me from eating it. For the main course my hubby had the Shepherd's Pie (which was really good!) with red skinned potatoes and fresh green beans (needed salt and were a little under done). I had the Mini Fish Sandwiches with seasoned fries. I figured since they had a giant bottle of malt vinegar on the table they took their fish very seriously, but sadly mine was a little abused. A little burnt, and no seasoning. And a little stingy with the tartar sauce - luckily my husband got our waitress' attention and got me a side of sauce. After that everything was fine. =) The bathrooms are really nice - tall ceilings, ceiling fans, a large trough sink (so you don't splash all over yourself), a hidden excelerator drier (behind the half wall on the other side of the sink), and lots of pictures and kitschy items depicting England. PLUS, they actually use good toilet paper! LADIES, no tissue paper toilet paper here! Didn't sit outside, but the patio looked really nice. We'll probably be back to give it another try, and try some of the other menu items.

Meh, I've experienced better. I've been there for drinks before and as a bar, it is very trendy. The food was mediocre and the music was melancholy. The fish and chips is nothing special. My wife's burger was so-so. Will I go back? Maybe, but I will not be ordering anything but drinks.

Fun atmosphere and the food was excellent! I order the steak and shrimp, which was great. The mashed potatoes were also delicious. Wide selection of drinks options available, our table particularly loved the berry lemonade (with fireball) and the bloody beer rita. Live music came on at 9:45 and was a very good band.

Fun relaxed place, most of the times ive been here it is after 9 or so, always a fun band on weekends, fun mixed crowd (ages and races), always a fun place. Tuesdays they have kareoke, weekends they have good bands, great place to meet new people or chill with friends.

Ok pub with ok food...nothing special. The fish and chip were good. The perfect amount of batter cooked perfectly. The fried mac n cheese balls were good. The tempura chicken strips were really good but the boneless hot wings were really subpar. Service was extremely slow and at sometimes nonexistent.

Great bar staff, super cool mega huge sized Jenga, food and food service could be 100% better with that said. It's more a bar with food, and not a restaurant with a bar. As a bar with food 5 stars, as a restaurant with a bar...... Eh 2 stars. The waitresses are ill trained, an un aware of there food offerings. This is most likely because of maybe who trains the wait staff or there training program. With that said bar staff is stellar and the ambiance is great, great, great!!! Food and food service is only great great great, if your drunk drunk drunk! Lol but seriously it's true.

I was pretty pleased with my experience. The atmosphere is fun and lively, the bathrooms are awesome and will totally confuse you (just trust me, but it's a good confuse), and the food is good. We got the chips and queso. Very tasty, but the salsa is pretty spicy! My husband loved his wings. I loved my Spicy Avocado Burger and sweet potato fries. They also have a lot of outdoor seating for nice days!

They must have worked out the kinks mentioned in the earlier reviews from when this place first opened. Went with my sister and mom while visiting them from Phoenix. Mom and I got the lunch order of fish and chips and sis got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Everyone was very happy with their meal, and the size was perfect. For around $7 a meal, we got excellent food in a cute location. Fish and chips - crispy and flavorful, and the fish tasted very fresh and had that hint of sweetness that good cod has Buffalo chicken sandwich- Sis said the onion roll was fresh and the chicken was crispy and tangy, but not overpoweringly spicy I plan to come back the next time I am in this neck of the woods.

I have never been unhappy going to this restaurant! What's better than a dang bookcase that opens into a bathroom?! The alcohol selection is nice, the food is always tasty, and there is live music (even if it's too loud sometimes). You can spend hours here and not even realize it! The waitstaff is filled with young ladies in really short shorts, which I am neither bothered by, or thrilled about. They're all very sweet, and they're busy bees all over the place constantly. This place is great for group meetings, small intimate gatherings, business settings, and even solo meals. Whether you sit at the bar for a beer and sports, or you sit at one of the many different table locations for conversation, you're sure to enjoy your stay.
