I ordered a meal as delivery a few days ago and it took over an hour for them to deliver to my home, I live 3 miles away. Upon the arrival of my food, the guy was very kind and nice, however once I sat down to eat I ended up throwing away mostly everything and don't plan on ordering from there again.

I was in town for the night, and wanted something delivered to my room. These guys delivered it fast and the driver was very friendly. The food was great! I ordered the General Tso's chicken, and it was the best I've had in quite some time. Major kudos to this place, and if I find myself in west Tulsa again, I will call them

I write this review with a modicum of sadness, though these are not crocodile tears. Asian Chef Delivery (ACD) has an extremely useful website, where you can order everything without picking up your phone. If you do call, the staff is always very friendly, including the delivery people. The food is generally delicious, and they have never hesitated to alter dishes to suit the preferences of their customers. However, it all comes down to execution: I have never ordered delivery from here when they didn't advise a 45 minute wait, but unfortunately that is laughable, and I generally expect to arrive at least 90 minutes after I order. The food starts to cool after the lengthy voyage and shows up a shadow of how good it started out. Another issue that has happened once or twice is delivery items ordered not arriving. Don't get me wrong, I order here at least 3-4 times a month and have for years and plan to continue, They could just improve their delivery, especially since you are being charged for it.

The sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was colored water. The general pso chicken was good though. Delivery took way longer than told.

This updated review addresses Asian Chef's new online ordering system. As soon as I saw it I thought 'Great! No more calling their store and getting frustrated because I can't understand the guy taking my order, and he can't understand me'. Actually my husband usually called, so he didn't have to get frustrated any more. This is going to be great!! I can order our food on my way home, pick it up, no worries. We have since moved out of their delivery range (boo), so I have to pick it up if we get a craving for Asian Chef. Let me preface this next part by saying that NO WHERE on their ordering website does it say what timeframe your order will be ready, before you hit 'submit order'. No where. Nor does it have an order-ahead option (like most restaurants do that offer online ordering) to where you can tell them what time you'll be by to get it. Also, their online ordering system wants you to pay in cash, so you can't pre-pay online. Its cash whether you get it delivered or pick it up, so be prepared. I work 5 minutes away, but I figured I better submit my order early in case their new system is still getting the bugs worked out. So, I ordered my food 20 minutes before I left for the day and went back to work. The ordering system is super simple in design, and navigation was easy. I picked out my food in no time and added it to my cart. After I hit submit I noticed the 'order complete' page said my order would be ready in 10 minutes. Uh-oh.....ok, no big deal, I'll be a few minutes late. 10 minutes after I ordered I started getting phone calls from a number I didn't recognize. It wasn't Asian Chef's; it was a cell phone number. I ignored it since I couldn't answer it at work. They didn't leave a message - oh well, it happens a lot. A minute later I start getting phone calls about every 30 seconds from the same number. I had gotten up from my desk and came back to 6 missed calls on my phone. I left work in a hurry, got there, and they called me again (from the Asian Chef number this time) while I was parking. I went inside and a guy came out from the back with my food. He verified my name and I believe he said I was late while pointing at the receipt. I wasn't late, they didn't let me set up a time to pick it up. The worker was really hard to understand but it felt like I was being scolded so I paid, said thank you, and left. I got out to my car and realized they shorted me a container of red sauce. I paid extra for that extra container so I was going to get it one way or another. I went in and told the same guy that I had paid for an extra container of sauce. He took my bag back to the back and a minute or 2 later returned with the extra sauce inside of the bag. I love Asian Chef, their food has always been delicious and their workers have always been nice, but for whatever reason this trip they were far from nice! It's hard to put the attitudes of the workers (all of them, not just the guy that helped me) into words, but it was bad. I might need to take a break from them for awhile, this last trip was annoying. You have been warned about their online ordering system - don't do it unless you can get there in 10 minutes.

This place had ever FAILED to have knowledge of converse with deaf(s). First, it was complicated to understand, I used my VRS (Video Relay call Service for only Deaf and Hard of Hearing) to call this place's local number for just order some menus and it was pretty long story in the creepy happened. It was most of worst annoying conversation on my pain in my ass!!!! The guy: Hm, I'm not sure, which did you say "Fried Rice" or "French Fries"? Me: Uh, I thought everyone calls "Fried Rice", and you should have to know it. Chinese Food Delivery NEVER make "French Fries", SAKE! He rudely nodded at me, and did NOT ever pay attention what the I ordered so... What guess? He didn't make to order another missing order, at last. Second, My boyfriend and I waited for the deliveryman in SLOWLY, like almost 2 hours... before he goes to work. Third, their meals in our order was incompletely cook, I had eat and it was below freezing in the box. It weren't so pleasure, for my boyfriend and me. Last, I already had enough done with shit piece of this place. I prefer to pick up the best of Chinese Delivery town in Tulsa area in a way than this place.

Best Chinese delivery! Some of my faves--(spicy) beef lo mein, Mongolian beef, Szechuan shrimp, hot wings..yum! As far as delivery goes, I prefer non-breaded items. They can be a little chewy/gummy...so ie. sesame chicken here is hit or miss. Asian Chef is usually delivered around or under the hour mark...I'm relatively close-but food is always hot and always a nice driver! I also don't usually order from the "pick 3". Add or subtract items and it is always made to order. Last order (if cash) I could order online. Nice portions, good prices, good food...I don't think (for delivery)(in Tulsa) you can beat it!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
