Hesitant to try because of a few negative reviews, but very pleasantly surprised by the outcome. The best part of the dining experience was the superb service provided by Keeley. Right after we sat down, the place got slammed. So, while it may have taken her a hair longer to refill drinks or bring the food, she still performed exceptionally and was both professional and polite. Ultimately, we took the gamble on Marsalas because the Yelp Deal of $15 for $30 to spend. Therefore, we splurged a little more than usual and had both an appetizer and a big salad that we split. Probably the most disappointing part of the night was the Marsala salad. It was definitely bigger than a side salad but only had iceberg lettuce and sparse toppings even though it was supposed to contain Romaine as well. Furthermore, the house Italian was not to our liking as a dressing (made a good dipping sauce for the bread), but the Ranch tasted like Hidden Valley which is what we eat at home, so that was more than acceptable. On the flip side of the salad underperforming for the price, the stuffed mushrooms even things out by being a steal at $8. 7 large mushrooms bathed in a delicious cheesy, red sauce were served piping hot. For the main course, we had the medium Supreme pizza. Once again, very delicious. The crust was the star of the show on this dish. Whatever oven/method they use produced an average to slightly thicker crust that was quite crispy. Great combination! The only stumble here was we could have used a few more toppings and some of the veggies were a rad crunchy. In any event, 13 bucks for a 14 inch supreme pizza is a bargain. In summation, I would definitely go again whether or not a half price coupon was involved. Furthermore, I would definitely recommend to others!

Very good pizza. Service was friendly and fast. Salad was excellent with lots of chicken, sausage, olives, etc.

Gross. Gross. I always say you cant mess up spaghetti. I was wrong. My spaghetti is a flavorless watery mess! I hate this place. I will never return. If you read my review and still come here you deserve it! The food is low quality I dont even think it's fit to feed the homeless! Sulphur should be ashamed! What an embarrassment!

This is a small town restaurant. They don't serve wine which I was disappointed by. I always get the Lobster ravioli which is great. The bread is always fresh and the service is always very good. Great prices.

I eat here every week on Thursday night. A group of local musicians gather in the back part of the dining room have have a good old fashioned jam session, lots of fun and a festive atmosphere. Usually on Friday night you'll find a local performer entertaining the dining guests. The pizza here is absolutely the best in town. The crust and toppings are really good. I also really like the chicken piccata. Peggy is an amazing waitress. On the down side, their marinara recipe is not my favorite, I don't recommend the veal. At times during the day the silence is defening.

We went to Marsala's very hopeful; At first glance it was perfect: very clean, nice decor, excellent service. The manager, Lucas, was very enthusiastic and helpful. We ordered the homemade bread with the olive oil dipping sauce. the bread was very fresh and the dipping sauce was very flavorful, full of basil, garlic, and parmesan. The bread could have used a little salt, but the sauce made up for that. We ordered chicken Alfredo, salmon piccatta, and shrimp alvione. We also had the side salad with the house dressing. The salads were so-so, some lettuce, a tomato wedge, but the dressing was fantastic! We ate the leftover dressing on the bread. Our eentrees arrived piping hot; too hot, they must have been microwaved. My salmon was grilled and had great flavor, but it was overcooked and dry. The sauce was very bland. It tasted like water. The tortellini was nicde, though, and tasted homemade. The shrimp alvione was terrible: overcooked shrimp, watery, flavorless sauce. The chicken alfredo was very good, however. My daughter ate it all. We ordered the canelloni for dessert and it was okay. All-in-all I was disappointed. I felt that the entrees were overpriced. I wish I had tried the baked pasta dishes. They were all under $10.00, and I bet they would have been good, considering the quality of the tortellini I had.

A disappointment. No wine. We were in on a Saturday, it was dead, they had two bottles of imported beer. The bread was bland, and the entrees were so incredibly hot they must gave been nuked. Starter salad was small but the house dressing nice. Service was good. Just not impressed at all.

Food is good, prices are OK, service is fine. We usually sat here when we visit, and have enjoyed it. I am not sure why its always empty when we eat there.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
