Really amazing noodle bar in Stillwater, OK (of all places). It was sad to hear the owner sold it to one of the lesser quality Japanese restaurants in town, but he said they planned on keeping his recipes and really just added sushi to the menu as well as bento boxes for lunch. All four of us had soup, so I can't speak to the sushi, but both the octopus balls and spring rolls were great too. Green tea was a little too perfumey for my taste.

I mean come on... A Ramen Noodle place in a college town? Perfect. But wait... There's more... This isn't the $.12 dorm room Ramen you kept in the same drawer as your socks and you won't have to try and find where your roommate put your plastic hot pot. I will say though, it only took a bit longer than three minutes from ordering to when our waitress brought out the steaming bowl of noodley goodness. You should order the potstickers too. Just saying... The only reasons I'm giving Main Street Noodles 4 stars instead of 5 though, I was a bit let down with the Thai iced tea and no alcohol. You'll spend a bit more than what's fallen between your couch cushions, but I'd be more than happy to stop in again.

Best option if you wanna have some time in Asia, Japan. If you wanna taste a little bit of the japanese kitchen this is the place. Cheap meal and great atmosphere.

This is the same owner as the awesome Tokyo Pot so not surprised it's great! But seriously, it's great!! The Pho is so good. The gyoza is so unbelievably good. Go here. Often. It's great!

Wow! I continue to be surprised by the new restaurants that pop up in my hometown whenever I visit my parents. My Mom wanted to check out a new Asian restaurant that was supposedly great. Although the rest of my family was a bit skeptical, we obliged and were pleasantly surprised. Several things impressed me about Main Street Noodle. The decor was nice. You could tell that some effort had gone into transforming what was once a bagel shop and before that, a bookstore cafe into a Japanese noodle shop. The owner was friendly. He came by our table to welcome us to his restaurant. He introduced himself and told us a little about why he opened up this restaurant. He also gave us a few recommendations. Granted it was a slow night but it was still appreciated. And the last thing was the food. The tonkontsu ramen is legit. It's not the best but it's certainly comparable to places I've had in Houston and even some in LA. In addition to the ramen, I'd recommend starting with the agedashi tofu and fried octopus. You'll be happy you did. I hope people decide to give this place a try because I'd sure like to eat here again the next time I'm home.

Love the management and wait staff, but the meat was just way too fatty for me.

My favorite place to eat in Stillwater! Basil Chicken & Vegetarian Gyoza are great starters. My favorite is the Pho, & my boyfriend loves the Shoyu Ramen.

The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the price is right! This restaurant is definitely a great addition to the downtown Stillwater area. I will be coming back again. :)

Main Street's Hidden Little Gem....... We accidentally happened upon this restaurant. We have been back several times and the quality and service are always great. Best place to try Japanese or Vietnamese food because everything is so good and fresh. Try the spring rolls for starters, and then the Miso Ramen bowl. You won't regret visiting Main Street Noodle. We love it because the quality of food is great, the portions will fill you up for sure but it doesn't leave you feeling heavy like most other restaurants.

This place is new and pretty good! I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The selection is pretty small, but everything we had was good. We had spring rolls and croquettes (which didn't seem Asian, but were quite tasty). We also both had the miso ramen. Very flavorful, and the noodles had a GREAT texture -- thin and chewy. The meat was a little bit fatty, which I didn't love. Will try this place again.

I really like this place - the food is good and it comes quickly. While the service was a bit rough when they first opened, they really have gotten much better. So happy there is a ramen place in Stillwater now!

My boyfriend and I went here for date night when I had a sore throat; the ramen was exactly what I needed. The restaurant was clean and had quick service, as well as a very friendly staff. I also appreciated that the chopsticks were plastic. He got the shoyu ramen and I got the miso ramen. I liked both; the shoyu had a lighter flavor than the miso. We also got spring rolls with delicious peanut sauce, and I got black peach tea. I wouldn't say it's the best ramen I've ever had, but it was good, and I will be back!

Very good ramen! Definetly far from Top Ramen. It's a little pricey and the menu is small but it's great, especially if your not feeling well a bowl of ramen from here will make you feel much better!

I was in town for work and I came across this place on yelp. I've never had good ramen besides what you get for 99 cents at the super market. I'd really suggest visiting if you're a soup or noodle person. Really tasty! They have a bunch of different combos for whatever you're in the mood for.

A great place for ramen. My friends love to come here for dinner. The staff does a good job explaining what each option is and what it would taste like. Quite a nice little spot in Stillwater.

Under-staffed and consistently slow. Two of us went for lunch recently and won't go back. It shouldn't take 45 minutes to prepare a bowl of ramen, and we had to wait at least 10 minutes to get our drinks (just iced tea and water). The other customers were asking for theirs to go after waiting just as long. This is the third time that we have been disappointed with the slow service.

The noodles were amazing. The broth is a little thick which made it even better. I got the kimchi noodle bowl. The noodles were soft. The broth was spicy and rich. The whole environment was very chill. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone in the future.

Oh finally I can get good ramen in Oklahoma! Too bad I have to drive from OKC for it! We came here for lunch and got a table immediately. The staff was very friendly and the decor is really "noodle house" and doesn't feel like Oklahoma. We ordered the takoyaki, Tonkotsu ramen, and Shoyu ramen. The takoyaki was good but the octopus chunk inside was on the small side. The ramen bowls were delicious though. The noodles were very good with plenty of meat and seaweed. While I liked my Tonkotsu bowl, I liked my friend's Shoyu bowl more. It had more flavor and depth. My friend is from Tokyo and said this was good ramen and actually finished her entire bowl. I can't wait to come back and try the other noodle bowls!

Great food, and very unique for Stillwater. The owner is fun and very interested in helping you understand the menu. The appetizers were tasty, the ramen flavorful. I highly recommend this place, be adventurous and try something new!

1st time for Japanese Ramen. I'm travelling from the Seattle area for my husband's job and was craving soup. I went on Yelp and saw that Main Street Noodle had 4 stars so I gave it a shot. Customer service was Great! I was acknowledged and sat right away. The owner is super friendly and passionate about your food and experience. He talks to everyone, gives advice on food based on your likes and even ways to enjoy the food. I ordered Milk bubble tea, gyoza, tonkatsu ramen. The bubble tea was milk tea and not the blended style. Gyoza was very good and good sauce with it. Ramen had great flavor, I added chili oil to spice it up. The owners other restaurant is Tokyo Pot. I'll be trying their 2nd restaurant based on my Main Street noodle experience. Update: I've ate at Main Street noodle a couple of times since my first review. I've traveled to LA and had Ramen in Little Tokyo. I can say I prefer Main Street noodle, the flavor they produce and texture of the noodles is superb!

I've been to Japan and had authentic noodles. This noodle house is as close as it gets to sitting down in a restaurant in Japan. Plus great mochi ice cream desserts!

One of my friends from LA travels to Tulsa for work often. We agreed to meet half way at Stillwater this time so I was overly excited to get to try some yummy ramen. Drive slowly when you turn on Main Street because I drove pass the place. The interior is really cute and is similar to the way Tokoyo House is designed with the exception of the tall belly tables in the back of the room. The outdoor patio reminds me of a mini Japanese garden. When you walk in it's almost like you've entered another planet. I mean this in a good way. For a Tuesday night, DT Stillwater was kind of a dead zone. Eery like an episode of The Twilight Zone. It's a noodle joint so they only serve noodles. Oh, they do have some appetizers like steamed gyoza, edamame, takoyaki, spring rolls. They offer 4 types of ramen broths and one type of Pho. You can choose from Curry, Kimchee (Korean style pickled cabbages- spicy hot!), Soy sauce, Miso or Tonkatsu (traditional style pork based broth). The bowl looks really large, but have no fear! The amount of noodles is not as plentiful as the broth. The pork was cooked to perfection! It made me wish there was more protein in my bowl. Our waitress was attentive and very nice. I overheard her explaining the menu to a group sitting beside us and she seemed pretty knowledgeable and very patient. I know they're catering to a college town, but I wasn't a fan of my Tonkatsu. I'm ashamed to admit that I had to add soy sauce and chili oil to my broth :( The noodles stuck together in a lump in the middle of my bowl. The spring roll shell was on the gummy side, but looked quite playful. Playful meaning the chef tried to make my roll look like a headless shrimp or fish with the leaf of lettuce sticking out like a tail from one end of the roll (see picture). The takoyaki was pretty good and had a much bigger piece of octopus in the middle. For being the only place that I know of that serves up traditional style ramen in Oklahoma, this will do for me. I just don't know if I would go out of my way to visit often.
