Go-to is the chopped beef. It's delicious. Baked beans are fantastic. Yes, I know they're just baked beans, but they're great. Solid brisket. The owners are wonderful and make you feel at home.

The chicken fried steak was bad never seen anything like it the breading was really weird like shingles or something very flat The chicken strips had way to much salt taste like they were a frozen product of poor quality Can not in good conscience recommend this resturant

Kenny and Vicki make Mahylon's the best BBQ in the State. As the Oklahoma Tourism board recently wrote: "The secret at Mahylon's Bar-B-Q is two huge, custom-built smokers that get 100 percent of their heat from genuine hickory. With all the traditional barbecue favorites on the menu, it's hard to pick the best though many swear by their pork ribs. The Muskogee restaurant is impressively clean, and the cobblers and homemade brownie sundae are worth saving room for." Mahylon's is great for catering, and Kenny does a great deal of work in the Muskogee community.

The food and flavor was very good. I really liked their bbq sauce. My husband liked it but thought it was a little too sweet. We ordered the 3 meat meal and got hot links, sliced brisket and pork. The sides we got were beans and potato salad. It was all very good; my favorite was the pork. The staff was friendly And the service was pretty good. It was a little slow, but we got there right as the noon rush it was ending, so I think they were a little bit overwhelmed.

Fantastic BBQ. We were just driving through on our way to Saint Louis and we were treated very well by the owner of the place ( the owner cleaned off the table and got us in quick, which is a good sign) the brisket, pork chops and the burgers were delicious! The Owner Kenny was a very friendly guy and came over after the meal to see how it went and chat about our trip. He wished us well and then even came outside while we were getting in to our car to give us a song to listen to on our trip, as it coincided ( Choctaw Bingo ) what a friendly establishment and Great BBQ

Traveling thru and met a friend for lunch. Saw reviews on yelp and decided to try :-) The outside of restaurant smells delish with the smokers going! Inside clean. Fast service. Sweet wait staff. Menus on each side of the wall. Ordered smoked turkey dinner w potato salad (perfect combo of mayo, mustard and pickle) and beans (great combo of spice and sweet with shredded meat in them) and bonus- Texas toast crispy with butter. My husband got 2 meat combo with fries and slaw. He said pretty average overall but really liked cole slaw.

If you're in Muskogee and looking for GREAT BBQ, you can't go wrong with Mahylon's. If you have a business in Muskogee, and want great catered BBQ for an event, you won't find better. As an owner/operator business model, this restaurant is run with heart. The selection is excellent, and the portions are generous to put it mildly. Service always appears to be a top priority. In other words, your iced tea will never run dry. My favorite has been their stuffed potato. Delicious, and it's a MEAL! Enjoy!

Came into Muskogee for the night and had a craving for some good BBQ. WELL, we found BBQ. I was very disappointed in the pork. I was expecting pulled pork, but they serve pork loin. Not the same. The briquette barely had any crust on it and I love a good crusty layer on my briquette. The meat was moist and tender, but it didn't taste like it was smoked long enough. On the bright side, the ribs were great. Definitely worth trying. The staff was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The beer selection was very limited. No dark beers at all. Another big disappointment. To finish on a bright note, the food price was good as well.

Oh my gosh!!!! Bring your stretchy pants and make extra room in your car to grab you some Mahylons! Kenny and Vicki serve up the world's greatest bbq (I'm not embellishing - It's amazing) in little ol Muskogee. The staff make you feel right at home even if you're a total stranger...but let's get to the good stuff....The chopped beef brisket sandwich is to die for! I have ordered this on several occasions and it has never let me down. They use a special signature bbq sauce that is mild and sweet. My boyfriend Chris loves to get the baked Potatoe topped with chopped beef. We love it so much that we not only take some home to Dallas but have taken it to my parents in Clinton, OK too. The whole family loves it. The okra is delicious. It's rare that I try anything new once I find something I love on the menu but this last trip we ate at Mahlons twice in one day and I did just that - ordering the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. The chicken is the absolute best chicken that I have ever tasted and I'd eat it just plain - it's that yummy. Lets just say that now I have 2 favorites here. We come here with Chris' family and recently with Chris' classmates as part of his class reunion...no matter the size of your party - they can handle it - offering separate rooms with flat screens to catch the big Sooner football games (bc those are the only ones worth watching). The atmosphere here is really nice - Log cabin style but the #1 thing you hear in Muskogee are people talking about when they've been to Mahylons, when they are going back to Mahylons, and what they are going to eat at Mahylons. If this place could get 10 stars - they'd have it. My only complaint is that they haven't built one in dallas yet.

Had been wanting to try this BBQ place for a while and was a little disappointed-Food was mediocre, ribs were plain jane. Atmosphere was nice and waitstaff was awesome.

Excellent food! We eat there very regularly and have never been disappointed. The sliced brisket is always tender & juicy and the beans are as good as it gets. Don't forget to have a banana pudding for dessert!

The highest quality food in town, best Barbecue in the state. The owners are very friendly and you will leave here very satisfied. Sliced brisket is great!

My family and I go here at least once a month. We drive 2 hrs round trip just to eat here. The best BBQ I have had and I have traveled all over and had a lot. Ribs and hot hot links are incredible. Anything one of us has tried has been great. Always hot and fresh with top quality products. I love the maniac BBQ sauce made with habaneros super hot and awesome. Always have our waitress Tammy who is on the ball at all times and very personable. I can always count on the food being great, place being very clean and leaving super full. Thanks to all the crew at Mayhlons for the great place!
