I don't eat at BBQ places typically, since my options are pretty much only the sides. But Boneyard wasn't too bad for a quick dinner before a show at the Pollard across the street. Service was a little sketchy, but decent. The decor is very cool, with the metallic ceiling as seen at other places like Blue Belle Saloon. Beer selection was so-so, but one can survive. ;)

This little BBQ joint is a nice find for your trip to Guthrie. We live nearby and gave them a shot. We ordered the smoked prime rib and a rack of ribs. The prime rib was cooked correctly and did have a nice flavor. The BBQ was tasty and tender although there wasn't really a signature flavor that would make it stand out. Sides were good, especially the Mac and cheese. They offered grilled corn that was good but served without any butter or seasoning. Overall the service was good. The price was very fair. We spent about 34 for both of their signature meals.

Went here for lunch, the service was good but the food was bland and tasted like it was out of the can or frozen...wifes chicken was dry and vegtables mooshed ...my burger was well done and fries soggy. You are better off going to the Blue Belle Saloon across the street. We were told dinner is better, maybe but from all the praise we heard from locals this was a very disappointing experience. It was expensive as well.

Service was terrible. We had a large group with two tables with 14 people. The entire time they were trying to get us out. Messed up several orders and made it seem as if it was our fault. Hardly ever refilled drinks. Then we had to help clean the table. Won't be back here.

If you have the time to drive out to Guthrie, OK, you should consider Boneyard. The steaks are delicious, the sides are incredible, and their prices are reasonable. The host, Zack, can be thanked for keeping this review at four stars. He sets your experience on a sour note, and it's left to the wait staff to pick up the slack. Don't write it off so soon.

This restaurant has moved!!! We drove off the interstate just to go here because of the reviews but could not find it so we ended up at Stables BBQ.

The service was terrible. The food was not good. Half our orders were wrong. And the waitress accused us of ordering wrong. The head waitress was hateful and threatened to give our table away because one person was running late. I will never come back here!

Okay coming hasn't changed my mind, but if you are approached by a young man in a vest its Zach don't let that create that lasting impression he isn't very friendly but eh oh well it happens.

A beautiful restaurant though a little hard to find, (Buy a bigger sign people!), was a great spot to celebrate my grandmother's 89th birthday. Our server, Andrew, went out of his way to make this a great birthday for her. A large table of us enjoyed tasty ribs, brisket, and fried chicken. Everyone seemed pleased with their food. Dinner was finished with homemade pie. Our server explained that the dough, filling, and whipped cream was all homemade! I'm looking forward for more tasty-goodness from Boneyard Grill!

I can't bring myself to give this place 5 stars because then they have nothing to aspire to, BUT that said, this place has a great atmosphere - carved out of an old dry-goods store from the first days of Guthrie's existence - and great food. I had the barbeque brisket and it was great. My mother had the prime rim. I should have gotten the prime rib. It was SMOKED! I've never had smoked prime rib and almost didn't that night. The waitress told us it was a fluke they cooked an extra one for that Friday night. If you like meat, you'll like this place.

Smoked Turkey BLT sandwich was excellent. Also, waiter was pleasant, attentive and efficient, what more can you ask for. Only complaint -- it was a cold and rainy day and the large room we were in remained cold during the entire meal (lunch).

I stop here every time I visit family in the area. I always get the rib dinners. They're fall-off-the-bone good and the sides are awesome. The last time I went they were at the old location but the new one looks great. See you again when I'm back in Guthrie!

Good food, neat atmosphere. Had the chicken special. Really liked the mashed potatoes, could tell they were the real deal. Shared the apple pie, also quite good.

If you can't find them it is because they moved downtown across the street from the theater on Harrison. Great food quality and variety for the area and price. Sirloin is only $10 with sides. Prime rib sandwich is great, honey chicken salad is my wife's favorite but the black and blue burger could get these guys on the Food Channel. Whole personal cream pies for dessert. You really can't go wrong here.

We took a day trip to Guthrie to meet up with some friends from Tulsa and visit the Oklahoma Frontier Drugstore Museum. We saw the reviews on Yelp for Boneyard and decided we'd meet late so we could have dinner here. I have little praise for this place. We were 4 adults and 4 children. The kids drink's came out in 20 oz styrofoam cups. Okay, they had lids, and straws, but were awfully big for the kids to handle. Furthermore, we had no intention of giving the children 20 oz of lemonade, and that's pretty much what happened. Boneyard provides children's activity placemats, but no crayons. Our waitress seemed to disappear frequently and we needed to get some fries on the table before the three year old had an absolute meltdown. We flagged down another server and told her our dilemma, she found our server, and our server told us it she didn't think that was possible because the kitchen did things in order. Look, maybe we were in the wrong not bring a snack for a three year old, but we got on the trolley and it went a little long, by the time we showed up at Boneyard (at 5:30), the 8 year old and 6 year old were hanging in there, but poor Jack was acting like a starving three year old - CRANKY! We just wanted a handful of fries to keep him happy. Our waitress did not bring out the fries she was sure she couldn't get, but another server did. I didn't get her name, but am thankful the kitchen staff likes her enough to prevent an epic meltdown of a three year old in their dinning room. The food, forget it. Three of the four adults didn't care for it. The side salad came with bottled ranch. The filet wasn't very good, the 10 oz sirloin was chewy and sinewy, the chicken fried steak was okay, the sides were disappointing. The garlic butter potatoes our waitress assured us were "awesome" were boring and needed salt. We didn't hear a complaint about the smoked ribeye, so maybe it was good. Our bill, including 9 beers and tip, came out to $173. I don't know were I got the idea this place was family friendly, but it wasn't. If we have any business in Guthrie in the future, we won't be eating here again. I feel so guilty because the first place we went to was Gage's (the reviews say they are family friendly AND there was an elevator we needed to get a wheelchair downstairs!) but we thought Boneyard looked more family friendly. Looks can be deceiving people.

OK I rated a 2, not sure it would of gotten that except for the smoked prime rib which was delicious. However, it came a little more medium than the medium rare I ordered. First off server did nothing for me personally. Told me twice she has ordered my drink. Took way to long for my drink to arrive. When it did it was delivered by someone other than my waitress. She did not describe the food at all. In fact, she did nothing to encourage my meal at all. The food was not delivered by her. She did not come by to see how I was doing until meal was almost gone. Never asked if I wanted dessert. Half my meal was on the plate she didn't ask if I wanted to take any home. I hate to put as poor rating because of wait staff but I was very disappointed. Food was good but I expect more from a place like this. I got my check and it has all kinds of charges on it....I was supposed to pay her but she never came back. While I wrote this review it went from a 3 to a one because of waitress. I would go back again but run if I got the same waitress. While I was writing this review someone else complained about their meat not being as ordered. Maybe just a bad night for them.

Great lunch! I had the sirloin sandwich and fried okra. Tiny bit slow but worth the wait. I love this old building that the business is located.

Stopped in for dinner on Saturday while visiting Guthrie for the Gentlemen of the Road tour. The atmosphere fit in perfectly with the rest of the buildings downtown. Boneyard Grill has a definite western feel that adds to the overall experience of dining. I loved glancing at the old west mural near the bar as I was eating. I decided to try the hickory smoked ribs and they were delicious. I got the "Lite" order and even that was a little too much, but it was all very good. The garlic buttered potatoes are amazing, a must try. Of course, no BBQ meal would be complete without a sweet tea and Boneyard Grill did not disappoint. The service was great, very friendly and punctual even with all of the extra traffic from the festival. My only complaint would be that the only sign on the building says "restaurant", not Boneyard Grill. Add the name to the sign, and this place would be pretty near perfect.

The buttered new potatoes are my all time favorite side. The 10oz. Sirloin steak is in my opinion the best value in the county, and very tasty! The specials are always interesting. Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant for consistently good food at a great price.

This is a dive worth checking out. It's good old fashioned BBQ at a great price. Nothing fancy. Your going here for the food not the decor. Smoked pork spare ribs were great!
