Had lunch at Napoli's on a Tuesday. It was nearly 1 and the dining room was nearly full. I sat in the bar, which is comfortable with plenty of TVs. The actual bar has around 10 or so seats, and had an average beer selection. There are plenty of tables, and while there were only a couple of other tables seated, it didn't appear that you would feel crowded even if the place was full. I may feel differently were I in there when it was packed, but the tables weren't on top of each other. I had the chicken Napoli and a side of meatballs (because I have to try meatballs every time I eat Italian). They bring you a basket of bread which looks better than it is. They are mini loaves which are warm and toasty and topped with a bit of butter, parmesan, and herbs. The bread is soft on the inside, maybe a little too soft, as if they were slightly underdone. Like I said, they look a lot prettier than they taste. If I return to Napoli's, I won't waste any calories eating the bread. The chicken Napoli is chicken with spaghetti, brandy cream sauce, tomatoes, onion, and basil. I had them switch the pasta to fettuccine, as I prefer it to spaghetti. This dish was impressively bland given the ingredients. I tasted no basil. There were onions in the sauce, but I got no flavor. This was basically chicken in a flavorless cream sauce. I added a lot of parmesan cheese, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Once I did this, the sauce was decent. But, as served, it's as bland as a cream based sauce can be. I will not order this dish again. The saving element of the lunch were the meatballs. They are baked, which gives them no crust. So, they didn't look very appealing, but the flavor was there. Additionally, they were tender and moist. If these had a nice crust, they'd really be something. But, they were the thing that saved Napoli's from a 1 star review.

Server was very nice and very friendly. We went there for a birthday party and was taken care of even tho it was prom nite and softball season with a full house. Great food great service and very good desserts.

Great food, atmosphere, and drink list! Servers could be a little better trained on the items in the menu as well as the different beers they sell! EVERYtime I visit, they ask me what Moretti is!

Noting to write home about, it's ok and the only Italian restaurant in town. Pasta portians are a bit small for the price.

I have always been immensely impressed with Napoli's; nowhere else but this gem of an "Italian" restaurant can you find dishes more bland, dull, and utterly comical. From the pizza to the pasta, you could not pay this place to have any flavor. I gave it the old college try, wary of the sports-bar atmosphere and the four thousand-page menu, offering me everything from veal to extended awkward small talk with the waiter about their pizza options (nothing says Italian like steak on a pizza- am I right?). Sure enough, the pizza was so sad I felt it should have been given a eulogy before being set on the table. But gosh darn it; I'm dying for some Italian. Maybe the first time was an off night? So back I go, to have a plate of sopping wet pasta and scrimp that tasted of Enid's finest tap water. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice... dang I want so badly for this Italian restaurant to serve Italian food. They boast of being "Best Italian restaurant of Enid", which is a mighty feat for the only Italian restaurant in Enid. And nothing says "freshest ingredients" like ripping open a bag of frozen tortellini. Save yourself a few bucks and throw together your own frozen past and can-o-water/sauce; I promise it will taste better.

The service was wonderful. It was the best part of the meal. We dined on a Sunday, mid afternoon. Bread does not come with your entree on weekends we were told. I ordered a greek salad for an appetizer with vinegarette dressing. Oil and vinegar was brought in separate bottles for the dressing. The salad was topped with way too many low quality green olives that over powered the salad with no tomatoes. The bread rolls came out warm and fresh but there was no butter or oil dressing at all offered. I ordered a lasagna and it was very runny with way too much cheese. I had to eat it with a spoon. It was more like cheese soup in marinara sauce, very few noodles and only a spoonful of meat in the entire dish. My son ordered a calzone that was mostly not very good tasting cheese with hardly any meat. I will not dine here again. The meal was over 50 dollars, and I would have had a better quality meal at Applebee's. 2 stars for great service.

Bagging on Enid's local Italian themed restaurant is almost sport for the pseudo-foodie faux-nouveau transients darkening my town with their demeaning glances and lame attempts at worldly superiority. Napoli's offers sauces and bread made daily in-house. Any inconsistencies are likely the result of the sous du jour and to be expected when the product comes from a boiling pot rather than a boiled bag. Entrees have been consistently good for me. But I am a realist who comes to Enid and orders reasonable fare - rather than playing a round of "stump the waitress" with complicated demands and expectations of exotic components plucked daily from their diverse geographic origins. In Northwest Oklahoma. At a family-owned business. A person who complains about the rolls and sauces at Napoli's is the same person who eschews ice cold beer on a sweltering porch because its lineage fails their "Craft Beer Locally Sourced" sniff test. Namely: insufferable hipster wanna be assbags making great effort to appear knowledgable and failing miserably. Baked ziti: it's good. For Enid or elsewhere. Any of the ravioli dishes: better than most of what you'll consume on the plains. Pasta Diablo: eat it, it's spicy, and great. Mussels or oyster appetizers: surprisingly good, and served with a nice sauce. The veal: no. Why are you ordering veal in an Italian restaurant run by Albanians? You, sir, are a bag of the douche variety. Order simple pasta. And a drink. And extra rolls. Enjoy the old warehouse interior. Spread some olive oil and vinegar. Converse with the owners. Slough off your elitist snobbery for an hour and be human, Steinmetz. Is the service slow and inattentive? Sometimes. But were you to receive identical service in Chicago at the same price you'd rave and fawn (if you're an insufferable putz). Have I had better Italian food? Of course. From ITALIANS. You're in Enid. This is damned good considering locale and access to ingredients. Don't like Enid? Get out. We were fine before you arrived.

Over the weekend, I ordered some pizza to go. When i got home (about 10 minutes away), I expected to have some warm, delicious goodness. Instead, the pizza was stone cold, bland and soggy. This is the fourth time I've eaten there. The first time wasn't all that great but decided to give it another chance since I heard their pizza was great.... and it was.... but after this last time, I don't think I'd go again

I travel to Enid every couple of weeks for work, this is BY FAR THE BEST restaurant in the area. Not only is the food outstanding but the waitstaff and Tony the owner make you feel like family. If you enjoy authentic itialian food this is the place to eat.

This is an alright restaurant, but very subpar for an Italian eatery. I would assume anyone who is rating this place a 5 has never been to an authentic Italian restaurant. The service is decent but the food is bad. My calzone was bland with no seasoning, the raviloi was frozen not freshly made or anything, the marinara and pizza sauce was really awful. The pizza is average. The atmosphere is decent.

Nice older brick building Great atmosphere Huge selection! Friendly service They are on it with refilling water, asking if you would like more bread, and checking in to see if the meal is toy your liking. Fresh ingredients! Everything seems to taste as though it was made from scratch and made in house! My mushrooms were actually fresh not canned like loads of "Italian" restaurant chain. Great for kids, large groups or a family night out, or even a dinner date for two. This is my fourth time to Enid, first time here, and I wish I would have found this the first time! Great prices, good food and friendly service.. We will be back for sure!

I get nervous any time I see an Italian restaurant with heavy advertising and an expensive building. Napoli's has prominent billboards all over town and the restaurant is suspiciously nice for home cooked Italian. If the food can't sell itself... Anyway, my biased entry aside, I came here excited with a serious Italian craving. When their pillow soft garlic rolls came out... so far so good. Really delicious and addicting. However, that same excitement plummeted when my Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken came out. It was even heavier on the butter and cream than I would expect from Chicken Alfredo, seemed a little watery, and the chicken itself had that unmistakable pre-frozen and microwave reheated taste. I also heard some complaints about the pizza and Chicken Masala. However, the Cacciatore order at our table was happy. On the plus, the service was good and I noticed a large selection of wine and mixed drinks. Nothing here is bad, but the whole place has that all too familiar smoke and mirrors feel where pre-cooked, microwaved vendor food is presented as authentic, chef prepared Italian.

An Italian oasis in Oklahoma? Not quite. My server was sweet but young and inexperienced. My Seven and 7 short and weak. Ceaser salad was quite good but my entrée veal parmigiana too salty to eat. Dessert was good. Sorry, won't be back.

I can not express how amazing my evening was here tonight. Everything was perfect! Came her with my wife tonight for our two year anniversary. She was wanting Mexican food being she is pregnant and craving it, though I mentioned this place. I also would like to recommend the server Rachel she was amazing ! Reasonable price as well whole meal with dessert was under sixty dollars. Will be coming back to this establishment soon . I have plenty of Italian restaurant's in Oklahoma city to choose from but this place is worth the drive on a weekend.

For an Italian restaurant in a small country town in Oklahoma, this place is quite fantastic. I started with the bread. Oh, the bread! It was hot, fresh, and melt in your mouth perfect with just the right amount of garlic and butter. I had 2 pieces, and I'm normally the type who tries to avoid finishing even one. It must be a new recipe, because it definitely wasn't this good about 5 years ago. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which came with 4 giant ravioli, with pretty good pieces of lobster inside, and the most delicious flavorful sauce. I could drink it like soup. With great food, a glass of wine for only $6, and friendly service, Napoli's will remain my go-to restaurant when I'm in town. Well done.

I really hate to give such a low rating to one of Enid's hot spots but it just isn't that good. It isn't bad but expected better for $110 for 4. I have eaten here a couple of times but this is the first time I paid so maybe I was a little more critical. We began with the fried cheese sticks and an order of the Shrimp Napoli's. The cheese sticks are what you would expect out of any freezer. The shrimp was nice size however the flavor was very bland. I only tasted my entree so I will only comment on that. I had the Manicotti. The mozzarella on top was the tastiest part. The pasta itself was a bit tough. And the marinara, well all I can say is I seriously doubt that it is made in house. For dessert we all ordered the Tiramisu. It was wonderful! I would have given 3 stars but yelp says that means A-OK. After the negatives I should fairly note that the staff was great and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

The food here is generally bland and uninspiring. The sauces are all similar, and the dishes are always swimming in it. Pros: the rolls are fantastic, and the pizzas are almost authentic. As with many other restaurants in Enid, it is overpriced and service is bad. The new location is a big improvement over the former, dirty building.

last two time there the food has been very lackluster. the tap water smells like sewer water. please invest in a filter!

We ate here on August 5, the night of the Daughtry/Goo Good dolls concert. It is right across the street from the event center. We called the Friday before to make reservations and were told they only take reservations for groups of 4 or more. We called Sat. after we had a group of four...were told they only take reservations for groups of 16 or more. I expressed concerns about it being crowded because of the concert...was told not to worry...there would be plenty of room. We arrived at 5:30 and it was packed. We were seated in the bar and that was fine. The ambiance was great and the rolls were awesome. Service was so-so, had to ask for water refills and sometimes didn't get any. Had to wave down the waiter several times. We got the sausage appetizer...it had about 1/4" of oil on the top and the sausage was not good. We ordered salads...it was a packaged premix with one cherry tomato...the ranch dressing was some off brand and the balsamic vinaigrette ended up being a bottle of oil and vinegar to mix your own. Our table was in view of the kitchen...could see large pans of rolls being pulled from the oven. I ordered the chicken parmesan...the chicken was cut very small and thin...about 1/4th the size of a whole boneless breast...sauce was heavy and oily. My boyfriend ordered the chicken masala...the mushrooms were great but that was it. After flagging down the waiter, we ordered the Italian Cream cake...again we had a view in the kitchen. The server took a cardboard box out of the cooler, placed a piece on a plate, and squirted a blob of whip cream on the plate. The cake was dry!!!! The whole cooler was full of cardboard boxes...cakes they had bought from some wholesaler like US foods and such. We finished up and headed out after an hour and 45 min. There was a line of about 30 people waiting...ambiance and rolls are great...that's it. Food is in severe need of improvement.

There was a line of about 30 people waiting...ambiance and rolls are great...that's it. Food is in severe need of improvement.

We enjoyed the friendly helpful service, they brought us extra bread and a plate for our six month old. Pizza was tasty as was the fresh bread. Greek salad was generously topped with feta and olives. The highlight was the cannoli - excellent.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
