We visit Davis a few times a year and with not many choices on restaurants in the area we decided to try SJ.. As we walked in there was a big menu you can choose from while standing in line, but wasn't a single price on what any of the items cost!! I have never been to a bbq joint that doesn't have prices or per pound pricing on the menu. As you get up to the counter that finally have prices on a small menu... Ridiculous...The place was decorated nicely and had a nice outside patio We ordered there ribs. Bbq sandwiches, pork loin and hot wings. Ranch or bleu cheese is not included in there overpriced subpar hot wings..that will cost you extra. The waitress seemed rushed and bothered and very disorganized.. The owner didn't seem to care about the customers or his dining room as he onlooked from the front counter. I have NEVER been to an award winning bbq restaurant that doesn't make there own bbq sauce!! Gallons of headcountry sauce to drown there fatty pork ribs. Overall the food was just ok.. Award winning? No! Not even close to Texas Bbq..Seems like a tourist trap restaurant/rv park... Overpriced subpar bbq at best.

I must say overall the food was good.. However when I order smoked hot wings I feel they should provide ranch with them. But I was told after receiving my food (and paying the $60 price for it) that I'd have to go back up and pay an extra 50 cents for ranch. Now maybe I'm being petty but Really!! I mean it's kind of like serving the ribs and charging you for the sauce. And it really just rubbed me the wrong way. Also the menus are posted when you walk in, however there's no prices on anything. They are also really confusing. The ribs were good, moist and tender. Pulled pork sandwiches had enough meat on them for like 3. Portions were so large we had people trying to give us their leftovers. Maybe if the portions were more normal size they wouldn't have to charge for condiments and water though.

I was looking forward to visiting Smokin Joe's on my recent visit to OK. I've heard about it from a few people and was eager to try it out. Now before I go any further I should make it clear that I am from TX and have a huge passion for BBQ. We got inline with the lunch crowd and began looking through the menu to figure out what we wanted to get. The 3 meat plate won out giving me the best chance to try as many menu items as possible. I went with the Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Pork Ribs with coleslaw and fried okra for sides. The portions were large, we actually could have shared the 3 meat plate versus getting our own, so that's +1 for Smokin Joe's. The brisket I was given were all lean cuts and still maintained it's moisture with big smoke flavor, that makes +2. The pulled pork was tender and full of flavor, that's another perk so +3. The ribs were very tender and almost falling off the bone. A little to much pepper for me in the rub that day but still very much worth the heat, now we are at +4. Then I dove off into my coleslaw; it was soggy, bland, and obviously store bought. That was a bummer to me since coleslaw is an easy dish to make and pairs great with BBQ, -1 putting us at +3. The fried okra, store bought again, was what it was; -1 for a total of +2. Overall the experience was good and the quality of the meats made up for the detractors of the sides. I'd definitely go again if I'm in the area but I'll probably skip the sides this time around and just order by the pound.

Country Kitsch, slightly high prices. I had the sliced brisket sandwich basket, with Cole Slaw and Fries. The sauce is made in Oklahoma...not in restaurant...it has a smokey overtone but was far sweeter than I prefer. The sandwich was on a buttered toasted bun, which was almost mashed flat. The house hot sauce was decidedly cool and refreshing... Nothing hot about it. (To their credit they DID have a commercially available green pepper condiment hot sauce) the brisket was not as succulent as usual for this region, possibly rushed? The portion sizes were adequate/large. The Slaw was perfect, (which begs was it also brought in, or made in house?) The fries were sweet, almost syrup coated before frying flavor! There was a line to order, but the wait on the kitchen was wayyy longer! Wait staff was clean and professional.

Rude little place. They add artificial smoke flavor that is sometimes so strong you will taste it for days. Meat is always dry, which is a conundrum. I would rather eat a shoe than eat here. I can handle bad food or bad service, but not both. This place has both.

Amazing BBQ! Ribs are fantastic! Portions are HUGE! Yelp directions are not correct...keep going about .5 miles from where it says turn. It's a new building at the front of smokin Okie's RV park #3.

The best BBQ in OK. After trying this, I would never consider Rudy's or other BBQ restaurants. Every time I drove to Dallas, I will have one.

Well, we sure over purchased here! When you walk in you are fenced in on a path to the counter so we couldn't see the very generous portions. The brisket from my "platter" provided food for two meals. It was tender with a slight amount of fat to keep it juicy. I chose beans as a side dish - again sight unseen, and would say they are "average" at best. They were a serving of pintos without much additional seasonings or added onions, bacon etc. My husband's slaw and fries were better side dish options.

When you go here, prepare for a wait, but keep in mind it's worth it. If you aren't in the mood to wait, try off hours. You'll get in quickly. Their brisket and pulled pork are some of the best I've had. The sides are good, typical for a barbecue restaurant. Love their spicy sauce. Great place to stop if you're on I-35 or in the area visiting the lake or the springs. Semi-regular when I'm down home with my family.

Lord have mercy Smokin' Joe's has the BEST ribs I've ever tasted!! And the sliced brisket was so tender and juicy! The three meat combo is enough to feed a family of three (or more if you order extra sides!) Portions are huge!

This place changed my life! BEST barbecue that i've ever had...and being from Texas, I have HIGH expectations! This place deserves 10 stars out of 5! You will definitely leave with leftovers and be completely satisfied. I'm hoping that I will drive through Davis, OK again...heck, I might even have to make a detour!!!

One of the best bbq places I've been to by far! It is on the pricey side but the servings are well worth it! If your traveling and wanting some great food, no doubt this is the spot!

Very nice venue, good parking, adequate seating accommodations, adorable decor, tantalizing menu, GREAT customer service, clean, stalked and spacious restrooms, beautiful outdoor area. There is a sign when you walk in that tells you if their out of anything. A simple easy to read and navigate menu. Our table, we had the specials; sandwich with your choice of meat, side and a drink. We all had the brisket sandwiches, mostly sliced. We all LOVED our overstuffed sandwiches on toasted buns. Ribs, cheeseburger, fries, cole slaw and potato salad were good.

Best BBQ in Oklahoma. The 2 meat combo is perfect to split with someone else. The hardest part is picking which meats! The ribs, the chopped brisket, the chicken, everything is so tasty. The employees are always helpful and friendly. It's nice to sit on the back porch when the weather cooperates. The cobblers are delicious and strawberries on a cloud is perfect for a sweet tooth!

Fantastic BBQ! We shared the three meat combo and had tons left over. And my husband LOVEs meat so it's a LOT of food. Easily share with three people. Ribs were the best I've had in a restaurant setting. Normally I only like my husbands but these were smoked perfectly and very juicy which is what I like. Also most BBQ sauces are too bitter to me but I actually liked this one and make one similar at home. The brisket had the right amount of fat in it making them awesome. Husband loved the bone in chicken. I'm not a fan of smoked chicken so it was just ok. Tea was delicious. Friendly help. Very popular local destination. Beautiful area. Will drive 1.5 from home to go again. Found this place while driving through and yelped lunch. Thanks for the spot on reviews!

The BEST Q anywhere. The wife and I always share the 3 meat combo and always have enough food left over for at least 1 more meal. They have the BEST BBQ we have tasted. Kansas city does not have anything that even comes close to Smokin Joe's. Excellent food, very generous portions. We always get ribs, pulled pork, and smoked sausage. All their sides are Great as well. You have to try the strawberry delight desert. It is off the hook. Forget the rest, SMOKIN JOE'S is the BEST. They moved to a new building so they now have a lot more room inside. Very nice. If this place was in Oklahoma City instead of Davis, I would eat Smokin Joe's BBQ 2-3X a week.

The best ribs I've ever had. Worth stopping here for the ribs alone. The chopped brisket was pretty good but didn't blow me away like the ribs. Beans and cole slaw were average. Pecan cobbler was worth trying, it tasted somewhat like a cinnamon roll. It took a long time to get my food after ordering at counter, 20 minutes or so. Sounds like a normal timeframe from other reviews (the lady at counter estimated 30 min wait), but I've been to many busy packed BBQ restaurants in Kansas City, Austin etc that get food out quickly once you order. Most BBQ restaurants where you order at the counter give you food on the spot. So you might wait 10 minutes to get to the front of the line, but then you get your food. Here you wait 10 minutes to get to the front of the line, and then 20 minutes for your food. Can't figure out what would take so long as they aren't exactly cooking fresh dishes for each order. But those ribs!!!! I've never been a ribs fan at BBQ restaurants, but this place might have changed me forever. These ribs have highly seasoned burnt ends all over them. If you're a fan of the burnt, crispy part of BBQ (Kansas City calls them 'burnt ends'), these ribs will melt your mind. It's worth dealing with this place's inefficient system to try the ribs. Just try to go at an off-peak hour.

Couldn't think of a better barbecue restaurant. Spend a day at the park, get some barbecue and then head to Sulphur and check out it's adorable downtown. This place is literally my favorite in the whole state. I usually get the pulled pork or chicken but ALWAYS with the polish sausage. Juicy, perfectly cooked and amazing. Just amazing.

Went here after riding ATVs (my main picture). Everything was so good. You get so much I couldn't even eat it all. Will go back after some more atving.

First! Outstanding food, outstanding prices. 3 of us ate well off of one 3 meat combo platter and still had leftovers. Now keep in mind that the three of us are huge eaters. We all ate well, and for under $20 total, including drinks. Best BBQ i've had in a long time. We had the chicken, sausage and brisket, all smoked to perfection. The only downside is the VERY limited seating. Long lines and few chairs make for a long wait. Get there early.

Are you confused? Want to be. A. Try finding this place B. Try ordering at this place. If these two things don't confuse you, Congrats. I went to this place because a well know BBQ gave it a 4 out 6 stars on his site. Which means it is worth a try. I am going to give it a 3 out 5 stars which means it is okay and worth a try if you happen to be in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. This is not a destination BBQ joint. To start off it looks like this place has moved twice. As there are 2 other places around a mile and a mile and a half up the road. If you didn't know better you would swear they closed the doors. I called after just about giving up and they said yes we are open. Just about an extra mile and a half down the road. Went in an ordered and the menu is sans prices and a bit confusing. Which lead to us spending way to much for way to little and prob getting more of what we didn't want than more of what we did. We ordered a half rack of ribs and 1/2 brisket. Almost 30 bucks. This wasn't really a lot of food compared to my order of BBQ the next day in Central Texas. Were 33 bucks got me 1.5 lbs of brisket and 2 ribs and 2 decent cuts of sausage. Okay back to the story. So a bit confusing on the menu. Lets get to the food. Ribs - Really quality ribs. These are some of the best spare ribs in Oklahoma. If I was judging on ribs alone this place would have gotten a 5. Pretty good smoke and spice. The ring was good and they were not to fatty. Brisket. I had heard such good things about the brisket here and was hopeful. Be at last I was disappointed. It was good but not great. Decent smoke ring, decent smoky flavor. It really lacked the bark I was looking for as well the seasoning just wasn't true to what I hope for in a brisket. I strongly recommend the ribs here but would just pass on the brisket the next time. As well the hassle that this place was to get to and order would prob just make me pass on the whole place. Won't be going out of my way again. Worth a try once though.

How have they not built the BBQ hall of fame around this place?!?!? We drove apart two hours based on my FIL's recommendation of "you have died and gone to brisket heaven". No joke! More than enough to split but you won't so you have leftovers to take home. The chopped beef. Just do it. Just bathe yourself in chopped beef. When they ask what sides just ask for more chopped beef. Everything is served on a tray so a huge mound of meat is perfectly acceptable. Our table also had the smoked chicken, ribs, and pork. I saw bologna and a hot link at one point but that got devoured rather quickly. How Guy Fieri hasn't dedicated an entire show to this place is beyond me.

Amazing!!! Wife and I had a meat combo; Ribs, pork loin, and buffalo smoked hot wings (epic!). Tons of food on the order and plenty to take home, except the wings cause we demolished them! Recommend to any bbq lover.

I don't think I have ever received better service than I did at this establishment. I visited early on a Friday evening and found that myself and my girlfriend were the only people in the restaurant due to the large amount of snow that had fallen earlier in the day. Although it was clear that they were planning on closing early, they encouraged us to order and even to dine in, assuring us repeatedly (despite our protests) that we were no trouble at all. The food was very good. Nice meaty ribs, crisp fries, well pickled potato salad and crunchy okra. The sauce options are flavorful, with one slightly more spicy and peppered than the other. Both have a nice sweetness. Prices are pretty normal bbq 10-15 bucks for a large plate. The chopped brisket sandwich was huge and we'll sauced. They have a small self serve pickle and onion station. I would return here in a heartbeat.

This place is awesome. If you're ever in the Davis/Turner Falls area, you've got to stop in. This is a family-owned restaurant. Staff is super friendly. But most importantly, the BBQ was AMAZING. I got a 2 meat combo - sliced brisket and polish sausage (which was a lot of meat, we took the majority of it home) with a side of cole slaw and fries. My husband got the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of cole slaw. They really piled on the meat on his sandwich too - and we also ended up taking at least half of that home too! All that plus two drinks for $30! You really can't beat that. The meats were smoked to perfection, and even their BBQ sauce was great. I highly recommend this joint!

Everything was delicious. Beef ribs were moist, tender, and huge. The brisket was moist and full of flavor. We ordered beans and cole slaw as sides. Beans were very flavorful, and the cole slaw was crisp and cold. We tried both sauces. One was sweet, and the other was peppery not too spicy. We shared a two meat combo, and we had enough ribs and brisket left for another meal.

We ate here on the way up to a camp out. All the food was very good, but the brisket was a little tough which is why I gave them 4 stars. The ribs and sides were outstanding. It's very easy to get to off of 35. It does get very crowed so be prepared for that.

I stopped here on a Friday night right during the rush period, and they were busy! Excellent quality of food is why. I ordered it to go and had to eat in my truck. I had the 2 meat combination plate with ribs & bologna. It is rare to find smoked bologna on the menu in Texas where I live now, so I had to order it. I really love the combination. Ribs were excellent and the hunk of bologna at least an inch thick! HUGE! Lots of onions & a dill pickle. Large quantities and excellent tasting food...don't miss this hidden gem!

They were closed when we got there but they were nice enough to give us what they had left. Ribs, pulled chicken, cole slaw and beans. It was great. We sat outside and ate on a beautiful late fall day. Just worth the stop for sure.

Oh my goodness, the food here is DELICIOUS! I ate here last night with 4 of my kids (age range from 3-11) and we all shared a 3 meat combo dinner and a basket of fries and had leftovers! It was kind of strange, they said all they had to drink was tea or bottled water. I asked for cups for water and the cashier made an exception for us-which was nice-but someone else had to fill the cups for us and we didn't want to trouble anyone else so we didn't refill them once they were empty. We snagged the last empty table in the place at 5:30 on. Saturday night. I heard rumblings from other patrons that they'd waited 30 minutes for their food. Ours wasn't quite that long (maybe because it was just one dinner?) but we were already out of water by then. The food is served on a huge cafeteria type tray. The brisket had a great, smoky flavor and fall apart texture. We got ribs, but the kids ate them all before I could get any. They looked like they were dry rubbed though. We had the pulled chicken too. It was good, though a bit dry. Their French fries are to die for. If you go eat there, please mail me some. I'd read other reviews that raved about the potato salad. I thought it had an overwhelming pickle flavor. My mom makes mustard potato salad so that's what I've grown up liking. Theirs isn't bad, just different. The beans were amazing. Smoky and a little spicy, not sticky sweet BBQ beans. The food is totally worth the wait and the weird drink situation. Maybe eat a meal at a weird time to avoid the wait. Worth it, however you approach it.

You have to go here on Friday or Saturday to get the smoked ribeye steak. I've been to a lot of bbq places all over the United States and this place ranks right at the top. If you are in the area this is a must stop. Enjoy

Excellent place! I usually go and split the three meat dinner between 3 or 4 people. It's a bit confusing to find because there are two other places on the same street that are also called smoking Joes and I owned by the same people but are not restaurants. The service is very friendly and the food is very good. If you go to Turner falls or Chickasha recreational area this is a good place to have lunch or dinner.

On another adventure out to rural Oklahoma, my friend took me to Smokin' Joe's. And it was totally worth it! I have rarely seen a business SO busy at 11:30 on a Monday morning. You know that if all the Okies are piling into this little place, willing to eat outside in the heat, then you KNOW that this place would be good. Because it was so busy, and there were no places to sit inside, and we were heading back to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, we decided just to order take out. We shared a meal and this is what we had: Sliced brisket - we got a little bit of a fatty piece, BUT that give it the flavor right? It was very good. Okra - we ordered two sides of this and it was WAY TOO MUCH. It was so good though. Potato Salad - Not bad. I am not a fan of sweet pickles as much as dill, but this salad was pretty tasty! The food was excellent, and it has a lot of county character. You can't beat that!

Smokin Joe'sRib Ranch has some of the best bar b q I have ever eaten. Located on Highway 77 south of Davis Oklahoma. DO NOT be confused by the location to which I was first directed. That location is about one mile from Davis and on the front porch was another large sign with an arrow that directed customers to continue down the road. Believe it or not there was second sign about a mile further and it too directed one to continue even further. The real place is about 3 - 4 miles south of Davis on US 77. The restaurant is rather rustic. You go to the counter and order you meal. There were two complete meals offered, one was small for $11.99 and the other a full meal for $21.99. I opted for the smaller meat selection and that was one-half chicken. Did not see the fine print as chicken was an extra $2.00. This chicken must have been the size of a small turkey. It was hugh and the chicken was moist and just fell off the half side which I received. Others ordered the ribs and brisket and both were excellent. Came with two sides. Got the potato salad which was made with dill pickles and the cold slaw which was excellent. The beans were also very good. Drinks can be purchased for $1.99 however we noticed that getting a glass of water would cost you 50 cents. We always write about those places that charge for water and frankly we think that is "tacky". Some folks due to diets cannot drink soft drinks or tea and they get penalized for asking for tap water. When meals cost $13.99 or $21.99 tacking on 50 cents for glass of water does nothing to invite the customer back even when you serve great bar b q.

Stopped here on the way back to OKC after finding on yelp. Great food value! We got the 3 meat dinner to split and only ate half. Beware - gps directions from yelp site got us lost. Right off I-35 exit.

This place is mecca for meat enthusiasts. Went inside for a piece of peach cobbler and left with a plate of sausage that lasted me for about 3 meals (sides included: cole slaw, pickles, onions and bread). Delicious! The ribs, the half chicken plates and all the smoked meat served around my table looked great and neighbors seemed to love their food. The scene was a bit out of the Flintstones eating brontosaurus ribs ;) Good prices, excellent service. I can see people driving from far away just to get a meal there. Highly recommended. Not much for vegetarians (perhaps a grill cheese sandwich and dessert)

Best food in the area! The prime rib on Fridays is second to none! The portions are large, staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. A family can make a quick stop, have a great meal and get right back on I35.

Made a motorcycle run up here to the new place. Much larger and seats way more people. We got here around 5:30pm and timed it perfectly because when we left people were lined up deep inside. This is the only place where people line up inside and kind of crowd your table instead of outside, but then the door is on the west side and the sun is hitting that area. I read where people complained about having to wait. If I am going out to eat I like to enjoy it, chill out as life is too much a rush.. Remember your in Davis, Ok not the big city. If your in a hurry go thru McDonalds. The thing I noticed was a ton of to go orders so may not be many people inside, there are a bunch of orders in front of you. I ordered the rib/pulled pork two meat combo and stuffed myself and eat two more meals from it the day after, so if you think $15.00 is expensive divide that by three. Ok enough ranting, the pulled pork was very good and not dry. The ribs are the large meaty type and were excellent and yep, those French fries are like beer battered fries and are super. For a cool place by Turner Falls,it's good to have a place like this that serves the portions and a fair price... Will return.....

I don't care how good the product may be but I didn't pay to be cussed out by a staff member. The only water they offer is bottled and they charge for it. When I asked why I was told that people were robbing them blind. I guess they're not smart enough to simply get a smaller or clear plastic cup like other restaurants do. They charge plenty for their food and they do serve generous portions but its hard to believe they were being robbed blind. It could have easily been fixed without causing the "bad will" that he caused. I don't have to pay my hard earned money to get cussed out. Yes I was frustrated because my allergies were really bothering me and I wanted water and not a soft drink or tea but I didn't deserve that kind of disrespect. I will NEVER return.

Arrived at. Smolensk Joes at 6:15 on a Thursday the line to order was about 6 people deep by the time I got to order they had run out of six items, we placed our order and after a 45 minute waiter the manager came to our table and suggested the Fried bologna because they ran out of both our orders We left with out eating

Ribs were awesome but the brisket was not good and very tough. It took 45 minutes to get our food, which really surprises me for BBQ. Restaurant was very hot inside like the AC was too small.

Overall great bbq: HUGE sandwich (big enough for a couple to split), tasty cobbler, and good potato salad. My only complaint is the guy who took our order (a teen) overcharged us (we ordered a drink, 2 sandwiches, and 1 side, and instead he charges us for 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and 2 sides). It was a little pricey (about $10 a piece), but the food was great.

I've eaten here about 4 or 5 times recently. They've got excellent brisket and big fat ribs, all with lots of smoke flavor. No doubt that this place uses real smoke. The fan driven smoker is right on the side in plain view. And everybody is right about their portions. The sandwich should definitely come with extra bread to make a second with all the meat that falls out of the first one. And I love the sides, the cole slaw with just the right amount of creamy dressing (not dripping and pooling at the bottom of the cup, the excellent pintos. Great BBQ - not as good as the place in Driftwood TX but still very good. And Ilove that their sauce is not overly sweet and that they have a hot version. But this review is focusing on the 16 oz "smoked ribeye." I have been curious about it since my first visit sveral months ago, and this past Saturday, wife and I went in at dinner time to try it. I was hoping they'd either give you a metal steak knife or that it was very tender as they only dispense plasticware. Also, they asked us if we wanted horseradish with it. Horseradish with steak? Hmmm. But when they brought them to our table, OMG!!!!! (And I thought I'd never use that term!!!!) There were slabs of beef on our trays as big as an entire side of beef. And ribeye? Anywhere else would call it Prime Rib. It was absolutely delicious, probably the best piece of meat I have ever eaten (the porkchop at P*erry's in Houston is a close second). It was almost orgasmic!!!! The quality of the meat was definitely prime (hence "prime" rib) and the smoke flavoring was absolutely killer. It was served au jus, and after initially refusing the horseradish, I had to go back for it. And the plastic fork and knife was more than enough to handle this monster, cut it like butta. The menu says these are served medium rare unless ordered otherwise. Not knowing, we ordered medium, but they were still very moist with a little pink in the middle. Will definitely let them come out medium rare next time, now that we know exactly what we're getting. And there will definitely be a next time!!!!!

Greatest BBQ in all of OK! Here for work and went with some work folk. Def. a local establishment but very popular. Also if you like to live in an RV...you can just park in the back :) Got the BBQ Chicken...very good! The sauce was what really hit home and you get some sides to boot. I got fries and the texas toast (why not call it Joe's Toast...I get residuals if they change the name...dibs!). The fries were like the high quality crunchy kind and I was surprised at how good they were. All in all...you can't miss the place...and the food is great! Huge proportions and they really make it easy to take your food home. Also, since it gets packed, you may end up sharing a table (NYC style) so you'll meet some local folks.

You want good BBQ look no father. This is some of the best BBQ I have had in all of Texas and Oklahoma. It seems pricey but you really get a lot of food. We went about 3:30 PM and there was only 3 people in front of us, but, by the time we sat down, the line went out the door. We ordered the Pork Sandwich, Chicken Tenders, Ribs, and Ribeye. The Pork had enough meat on it for 3 sandwiches. The ribs were tender, juicy, and smoky. The Ribeye reminded me of something you would see on the Flintstones. the flavor ran through the entire meat. The steak was so tender I cut it with a butter knife. The chicken tenders were good, not great. The French Fries were very, very yummy. fresh cut, light, fluffy and tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. The potato salad was bland and a very small helping, the Cole Slaw small as well and very average. But the BBQ Sauce.............OOHHHH, OOOOHHHH, OOOOHHH so very very very yummy. You could put the on a shoe and I'd eat it. So if your ever in, near, going by ..... Davis, OK.....Stop in and get you some yummy BBQ. But bring your appetite, your gonna need it.

Great food, ribs are best I have had in Oklahoma. Pulled pork sandwich is huge, tasty and is fresh. Brisket is not my favorite, being from California and growing up with tri-tip, but Joes brisket is very moist and flavorful. It's a very busy place very casual but very memorable. Would recommend to everyone, if ever in area a must!

Outstanding BBQ! Changed my mind about who had the best in the state. Thought the prices were a little high, until I saw the portions served...wow! Way more food than I could eat! Could easily have 2 more meals from the left overs...a must try!

This is an amazing BBQ place in Oklahoma. Everything is barbequed and the taste is amazing, the prices are cheap and the quantity and quality of the food is excellent. You have to hurry though, as seating is very limited and they frequently run out of food by 8pm. If you're on your way to Dallas from Oklahoma City, you must stop in Davis and experience this amazing feast.

I'm not sure what is perfect BBQ, but this place is way up on my list! My entire family liked this place. If the food is this good all the time, it is worth a day trip or at least a must go to when driving through the area! Not a 4 star valet parking steak house, just a neat place and really good food place to go. Good job people!

Well I'm from Texas and I hold my BBQ standards high. I mean we (Texans) have the best BBQ in the world! Smokin Joes was good! We ordered the 3 meat combo with two sides and two drinks... All that for $25! And I'm not over exaggerating The portions are insane! No joke we had the leftovers for two days of breakfast! And still had three ribs leftover!! We ordered the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, coleslaw and fried okra. Let me just list what I thought! Pulled pork- awesome! Best thing we got! (Was awesome with our eggs and green onions the next day!) Brisket- it wasn't dry so that's a plus... But not Texas brisket. Ribs- I thought they were too tough. Coleslaw- Store bought premade. Ugh. Fried okra- tasted like it was frozen. The sauces weren't homemade either... I guess I'm spoiled with really great BBQ. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Turner falls. I would just order the pulled pork!

The only reason this place doesn't get a 5 star review is that if you don't get there early enough you might not get what you want. They tend to run out of certain items. That being said, there are multiple items on the menu that are just as good and will satisfy your craving and have you leaving with the "meat sweats". On second thought. 5 stars anyway.
