owner is the chef...has experience with restaurants in dallas, brooklyn training in pizza. beer menu is very limited, wine fairly pricey for types and location. had the lemon veal which was good, but i wonder about the tomato sauce splashed on the pasta which "bled" into the meat sauce can't compare to olive garden and other chains since i never eat in them, but compared to other independent italian restaurants i frequent this would only rate 2 1/2 to 3 stars.

This is a great place to eat if you want some good Italian food in Clinton. The only other choices you would have are chain restaurants and Adamo's has them beat hands down. I have not had anything here that didn't taste great. The portions are big and you will get full.

Love the food. It's no Olive Garden or Johnny Carino's. More like authentic Italian meets small town diner. The girls from the office all eat there frequently. Never had any meals that weren't good. The salad aren't the best but they are ok. The waitress can be overbearing and obnoxious but we try and ignore her. The owners are very nice, interesting people. It seems very clean but I've never seen the kitchen. Would recommend for people visiting the Route 66 museum.

Pretty great, family owned Italian restaurant. Large menu with pizza, pasta and other specialities. Enjoyed the chicken with artichoke hearts and lemon cream sauce. Wine and beer selection, also take-out. Portions are generous, plan to take some home!

Eh, it's okay as far as Italian food goes in BFE. Nothing special. The service is hit and miss as well as the food.

Honestly, I'd give this place a 3.5 if that were an option, but I didn't want to oversell it for people traveling and desperate for food in this part of OK. We stopped in here for lunch because we wanted to hit up the Route 66 museum across the street. My girlfriend and I shared a large pepperoni pizza and it was a good value (11 bucks) and pretty decent overall. They make their own delicious crust, and the sauce was solid. The cheese and pepperoni, however, lacked quality and taste and could have been better. It looked like a joint that lots of locals go to, and the waitress was as cheery as they get (could be too friendly for cranky people like me). If you want a break from the chains, this place will do the trick.

We loved this place. We pulled up to the restaurant and were not sure we wanted to go in. It was a bit of a dive. We went in anyway and are so glad we did. I got the chic parm and the the other two with me got the baked ziti. I loved my meal and tried the ziti and really loved that two. I highly recommend this restaurant

We went to Adamo's for dinner and the meal was excellent! I had the chicken frechese which was stellar. The kids had baked ziti and the sauce was exquisite. The bread was good, and was perfect for sopping up the remaining sauce on the plate. For desert I had the Tiramisu, which is an experience unto itself. The service was good, the facility was clean, and the Route 66 themed wall paper was a nice touch considering there was a Route 66 museum on the other side of the street. If you are in Clinton you need to visit this jewel on Route 66!

Wow, we didn't expect it to be that good! Everything was delicious. It started with the service, Angie and Karen were the waitresses and they were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Tilapia dinner, Eggplant Rolletini, and our son had the kids spaghetti. The Tilapia was delicious! It was lightly battered and pan fried with lemon cream sauce on the side. Portions were big! The wife ordered the Rolletini, it also was absolutely delicious! The kids spaghetti with meat sauce was very tasty and big portion size. We finished off dinner with the Tiramisu, which was great! We came out to visit the Water-Zoo, we are from Edmond, OK, and this place really blew us away.

Great Italian place in this small town. I have eaten here maybe half a dozen times and it has always been delicious. I don't live in town, so I don't have a chance to go here often. The calzones are great. Their chicken dishes are always large and very flavorful.

I went in with pretty low expectations and while they were exceeded, it wasn't by much. The food was ok, but the lack of seasoning in the chicken was covered up with an enormous amount of cheese and sauce. Each dish came with a side of steamed vegetables that were bland and felt out of place in an Italian meal. Certainly wasn't worth the price. Hit up the Subway next door, eat fresh, and move on.

The staff was very indifferent and the food was a little bland. Not many options around here and I suspect they know this.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
