This bed and breakfast truly has potential. Physically, the building is in disrepair. It is in dire need of a paint job on the outside. Paint is flaking off on almost every square inch. The front porch had some wood that has rotted and must be replaced, and the front door is a chore to open because it scrapes along the floor. The doors of the rooms seem to be the original doors, however the locks don't work properly and there are hooks and eyes to keep them secure. Even the shower head in the private bathroom is half clogged and must be replaced. However, the saving grace of this establishment is easily the breakfast. We had two wonderful meals. The first morning was cranberry and cream cheese stuffed french toast with fresh fruit on the side. The second morning was "eggs in a nest" a pasty shell filled with scrambled eggs and sausage then drizzled with a lemony hollandaise sauce. We would stay again, but would definitely look into other B&B or hotel options first. We asked and were given a buy two nights, get the third a half price before we booked, which made this a better option than the other B&Bs in town and better than the Hampton Inn near the wedding reception site.
