Sorry Packo-lovers, but Rudy's has the best chili dogs in town, hands-down. I've been going here (and the Alexis location) since I was a kid and have always had a great meal. Since I've moved out of town, Rudy's is on my list of places I have to visit whenever I'm in Toledo. Don't expect anything fancy (it is fast food after all), but you'll always get good food here. In addition to the chili dogs, try their breakfast and their shakes. Mmm!

Slow rude service, messed up the order. However the dogs are better than average. The chili has a different flavor than others and i enjoyed it. Careful though it is very greasy.

It's a hot dog joint, and if you stick with the standards you'll get what you expect. Mustard, chili, onions, cheese on a classic dog with a steamed bun. If, on the other had, you try their "Chicago" dog, my friends you will be massively disappointed. I'm not going to change the stars on my review, because I blame myself for trying something different. But I figured, hell... since they have it on the menu it must be something they want me to try. As soon as I saw the cook grab one of the weird super dark brown / grey dogs that sit next to the regular pink ones I knew something was wrong. As I watched her place pickle slices on top, I knew I was in for something weird. Did it have relish on it? No. Did it have sport peppers on it? No. It was just chopped tomatoes, sliced pickles (instead of the classic spears), onions and mustard with a dash of celery salt. The dog itself was awful and the whole experience was just hilariously terrible. So take note dear food travelers... focus on the chili or kraut dogs, but stay the heck away from the "Chicago" dog. I've had them all around the country and this was by far the worst. That said, I'll be back.

Love all of the Rudy's locations in Toledo. I recently ate at this one and had great and friendly customer service from all of the employees. Rudy's has the best chili dogs in town. I also think they have the best onion rings, very crispy and cooked perfectly. The cheeseburgers are also excellent. Definitely get your moneys worth here, an excellent local fast food joint.

Don't let one bad review influence your opinion about this place TOO much. All of the other Rudy's in town rate 4.5 stars, and somehow this one rates 2 stars? C'mon. Although such a thing is possible, it just ain't so. This Rudy's is just like every other Rudy's in the city, and that's a good thing. Rudy's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've never had a bad meal, and personally, Rudy's hotdogs are my favorite in Toledo. (Not the best chili mac, however. That title would go to Ideal Hotdog). Their soups, especially the bean soup, are also very good. Their Greek salad, somewhat surprisingly, is really good! Nice fresh olives and cheese. The Greek dressing is not homemade, but it is better than most homemade dressings. Is five stars a little high for any Rudy's? Am I "Reactive Yelping?" Am I trying to average out a bad review? Eat at this Rudy's, and you be the judge!

the kids ask for Rudy's on a daily basis literally And we give in atleast once a week. Usually order a hot dog or an omelet or a sizzle steak sandwich. As well as fries and onion rings. Don't see how you could go wrong here unless you just hate hot dogs...

Totally Gross. The kid in the drive through had a pair of gloves on. That he was running through his hair, touching money with and even bending over to pick something off the ground with. Then he went back and started touching food. That's so disgusting. Change your gloves, kid. Totally gross.
