New location- 2384 Mechanicsburg Rd Springfield, OH 45503 Same hours, I think. I love the lasagna, broccoli cheddar soup, italian sub with macaroni salad, and the GARLIC BREAD!!! Go and get some garlic bread. Seriously.

When I first saw this place i wasn't expecting much more than just a mom pop place with OK food. Boy was I wrong! This may look like a small place off of the beaten path, but it is well worth the trek there. The main food type there is Italian. I got the 5 way Italian sampler, and it was a giant plate full of food. It came with lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti, veal and chicken, then on the side there was garlic bread with cheese! This is probably one of the best priced and tasting places I have been to in Springfield!! The food was awesome, and the service was amazing. The staff there were so nice, and the place was spotless (and we all know how hard that can be to find sometimes!!). They close at 8pm, so don't wait too late to go, but definitely go!

Mom/Pop shop....I had pizza and the crust was crispy and the sauce tasty. Wife had the special of Sirloin tips over egg noodles, mashed potatoes and green beans with garlic bread and salad and it was delicious.

Mic's serves unbelievably good Italian-American food. Somebody really knows what they're doing in the kitchen. Their Chicken Parmesan is the standard by which I will judge all others from now on. The breading was GBD and it retained its texture when bathed in sauce. The chicken itself was tender and well seasoned, I finished every bite of it. Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest for restaurants to get right. I can tell they're serious at Mic's because of how good the noodles are. The spaghetti is fresh, al dente, and seasoned to perfection. Pasta paradise. The menu is kind of huge, and there are daily specials. It would take a lot of visits to try everything, so visit a lot. Four stars.

Wonderful meatballs! Probably some of the best I've ever tasted. Good food! Casual family atmosphere with good service. When ordering you stand in line then the serve you at your seat, which I'm not crazy about but the food is good.

I love the s'getti, I've only had that and I over it every time. No need to try something new when they perfected that! Only down fall is the seating, they need to update it

Seriously folks! Sorry to say, but such sub-par standard of Italian food. The noodles are soooo thick and the meat sauce has absolutely no meat. The sauce is really not as good as a chef Boyardee. I really thought it might be good, with such good reviews. I wish I had just come home and opened a can of soup.

Small, Italian restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Good pizzas and subs; the show here is the pasta. For a great price, you get a salad, 3 pieces of garlic rubbed bread and you will leave full. Family owned and operated with one of the friendliest staffs you'll find anywhere. Closes at 8pm Monday to Friday and closed all weekends and holidays. If you're interested in getting some good, comfort food, this is the definition of a friendly, family restaurant.

Its nice that there is a good Italian place in Springfield. I didn't personally find it amazing, but if you're in the mood for Italian, and you're thinking about Olive Garden, come here instead. Lots more flavor and it's cheaper. The service was fantastic! Very helpful and friendly! I got the baked Ziti, it was good, not amazing. I would (not a typo) have it again though. I got small (pictured) and it was $6.99 My husband got the chicken parm, and said he would rate it at a 2 out of five. $8.49 Try it out for yourself! :-)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
