This is a truly wonderful bakery. The cookies, pastries, and cakes are always a hit at the office. Their wares look like something out of a cook book - and taste just as good. Though somewhat more expensive than a chain store, their prices are less than you would see at a place like Whole Foods and the quality infinitely higher. I haven't tried their cakes yet, but I hear they are to die for. Remember, though, that they do not accept credit or debt cards.

I can't believe it took me this long to find this place! A short distance north of DLM in Oakwood. A great spot to grab a bear claw and a cup of coffee. Not just cakes, but a wide variety of pastries. I will definitely be back. Be advised - Cash or check only.

More than beautiful, these cookies and pastries are beyond compare. We visit Dayton for the holidays and Christmas isn't complete without Ashley's. The cookie icing isn't just decorative, it is delicious - not sugary sweet, but layered with flavors. The cookie itself is perfection. If Ashley's delivered, I'd be thrilled and would order for all my occasions. If in Dayton, don't hesitate, make Ashley's a stop. Be superstar and bring back treats to friends and family!

So sweet and helpful- bought cupcakes for my sister's birthday to be delivered to her place of work. I live out of town and wanted something with a local, personal touch. Theresa was so helpful with deciding on what to get, and even wrapped the cupcake box with a bow to look like a present! Definitely a gem in Dayton :)

I love Ashley's! Over the years, I've tried almost every one of their baked-goods and I've yet to find something that is not absolutely amazing. The owners are wonderful people and true pillars in the Dayton community. Thank you for all you do!

This is more than just your neighborhood bakery. The baked goods here are a work of art as well as a treat for the taste buds. Unique and tasty items. The owner is as sweet as her confections and understands the meaning of the term customer service. She makes sure to greet you personally when you arrive and feel like a valued customer. Probably Dayton's best bakery.

The best pastries in Dayton. We live a few blocks away and stop by for quick treats here and there. Ashley's also makes custom birthday cakes and my daughter designed a unique cake on my iPhone and we brought it to Ashley's and they re-created it to perfection! I was delicious! Must try the fresh baked cookies, apple strudel and cinnamon bread. Unbelievable.

This bakery is in a class of it's own. Cakes that look like they came off the food network, salt sticks (Pine Club serves these), eclairs. Showstoppedr is the absolute best cookie...cinammon flavored with a merangue on top. They used to serve these at the (now closed) Neils Heritage House with the butterscotch pudding. It would take your breath away...I stopped by yesterday for two and said what the heck...life is too short not to eat cookies. I got a dozen. And I'm going to eat every one...all by myself!

Small place with cute chairs in the front. Pastries are excellent! We had an eclair, donut, banana bread, pecan twist. No croissants though. I need to go back to try the cookies and cupcakes!
