Wow. This is the place to have dinner in the area. Best place I've eaten near Columbus. Farm to table food with personality. Incredible service and fun decor helps make the meal. I had: Biscuits with honey - the local wildflower honey was out of this world Chicken and waffles - the black pepper whipped cream was amazing Fried green tomatoes - skip Short ribs - fall apart delicious Jalapeño and peach martini - ask for it extra spicy

Had heard great things about Hinkley's from friends in the area so we gave it a try with some friends of ours. Definitely glad we did. We tried a wide variety of dishes and drinks - all were good to great. The unique decor and history of the place adds to the dining experience. There is just something peculiar in the best possible way about eating here. Between the four of us, I can remember we had the filet, the prawns and two other dinners. Everyone was very satisfied. I personally gushed about finally getting head-on prawns and they didn't disappoint. Service was very good - our server was extremely knowledgable on all the dishes and especially of the wine menu. Would give a 4.5 if I could. Will definitely be back.

Lunch. I've heard about this place. I would give 4.5 for the place. I've been sick so I wanted something refreshing. I ordered couple of appetizers. Guacamole & chips and mussels. They first brought out couple of biscuits with marmalade, maybe thiWow best that I have ever had.

FAB-U-LOUS!!!! There is nothing about Hinkley's that I didn't gush over during my recent visit. Marysville baby, you are winning the award of the best hidden gem in Central Ohio! I'm so excited to write this review. Let's go! Firstly, the décor is haute! It's eclectic with historical ties woven together in every room. DYK: this place was a brothel house back in the day! One of the rooms has a replica of what the ladies used to wear to woo the men folk! Sassy! The layout of the room we were in was very comfortable. There were only four tables in our "room" which made for a very intimate setting. Usually restaurants pack as many tables as they can fit, which made the spacious setting very desirable. Derik was our server and he was an absolute doll! He gave great recommendations and would tell us interesting facts about the house as our dinner progressed. His drink selections were on point and he was very attentive. Let's talk about the food. Ohhh-child! It hit the double d's - Decadent and Delicious!! The evening began with housemade biscuits, butter, and jam. While the biscuits were a bit hard, the butter and jam stole the show! The jam was a unique lime flavor that paired very well wtih my drink. :) The chicken and waffles were the best I've ever had. The sweet potato bisque had a little kick at the end that was very pleasant. The salmon - lawd, that salmon with the chutney on top - GAVE ME LIFE!!! The filet melted in your mouth and the side dishes were equally pleasing. The brussel sprout combination was the shining star and I honestly could've had it as an entrée. For dessert we had Oreo Cheesecake. *Disclaimer* I was so full I had to take it home and it was like giving myself a present the next day! H.E.A.V.E.N.L.Y. Hinkley's I think I'm in love (swoon).

Excellent atmosphere and great food. A very welcome addition to Marysville and Union County. The owner is awesome and takes the time to make his patrons feel welcome and appreciated.

Very pleasant surroundings, background music my kind of blues and jazz, excellent service - friendly and informative. They have a great cellar and conducive atmosphere. But the farm to table food is beyond wonderful - I had the sherried chicken which was sublime. And it didn't break the bank. Overall, a brilliant restaurant in a most unexpected location. If you find yourself within 100 miles, make the trip!

Went for a friend's birthday. Wonderful staff, amazing food and the atmosphere was perfect. We went with a couple recommendations from the staff and we were not disappointed. My highlight was the creme brulee....I will always order that from now on!

Went for Mother's Day brunch. Have to say the menu was limited and unimaginative. The prices where high for the quality of the food. Purchased a good bottle of wine and never saw the server again. He or anyone else never attempted to pour a glass. The prime rib was below average at best and was served on over salted smashed potatoes. The filet was good and the white anchovies. Never saw the manager or any management. They never check on our party. Hate the interior. This is my second and last visit. Do not waste your time or money. I will drive on to Columbus.

Was in Marysville buying a car and hit this place for lunch...wow! A very old and large converted house, this higher end restaurant delivers the fine dinning experience to Marysville. It has a full service bar and the longest wine wine list Ive seen. Place was spotless, and the decor perfect. Menu is small, but what they lack in selection is mooted by the quality and taste! They start you with complementary home maid butter milk rolls, with locally supplied honey that was outstanding! I got the 6 Mile burger. Its called the 6 Mile burger because their local meat supplier is exactly 6 miles away and the Chef wanted to have some fun with that. It is also ground specifically for them. It had a fried Quail egg, bacon, Ludlow cheese, fresh tomatoes, Romain lettuce, pickled onions, and get this...served on a toasted English muffin! Served on the side was ground mustard seed and in-house made ketchup from roasted tomatoes. It is one of the best burgers I have ever had! Outstanding! She got the grilled salmon with rice pilaf and grilled asparagus, all drizzled with this dill Aglio sauce. Hers was perfect too! Salmon cooked just right, and the rice pilaf had a touch of Saffron in it, asparagus cooked perfectly, and the sauce made it a slam dunk! Service was outstanding, and for the level of food, I found the bill quite reasonable. A taste and experience that I will most definitely return to!

We liked Henderson's but have to say, this place is much better. The short ribs were better than any we've had. We will be back.

Was there for Restaurant Week. The place looks great, but wasn't impressed with the food. Lack of seasoning was the main thing. The corn chowder was too watery and didn't have much in it. The pasta was not done and the cloudless tort taste like carnival fudge. Didn't want to say how bad be experience was because the staff was so nice. I won't return or recommend it.

It's pretty amazing to find a restaurant like this in Marysville. The building is an old Victorian-era home. Beautiful and classy interior with a wine cellar. To start off, everyone got some homemade biscuits with honey from a local farm. The biscuit was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like it. I had their chicken and waffles to start off. Their fried chicken was well seasoned and very tender. The waffles are covered in caramel and topped with whip cream sprinkled with pepper. At least I think it's pepper. It was too delicious, I inhaled the food and did not even notice. For entree I had the flank spinach salad. The portion was not very big. The waitress asked me if I wanted fries as the side, to which I responded yes. But when she brought out the food, she told me that fries did not come with the entree. I asked the flank to be served medium, but I think it was more like medium-well. Still delicious though. There's maybe about 4oz of meat on top of a bed of spinach covered in what I'd describe as lite mayo. It wasn't very filling for me, but still delicious. The service could have been a little better. The server kept confusing me with the Asian guy sitting next to me. He would ask for water and then I'd be the one to get refilled, leaving him with an empty glass almost the entire time. Overall, the place is good, especially for Marysville. I hope it's here to stay. I'd definitely come back again, but probably try something else. The 6 Mile Burger looked really good!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Appetizers were great. Try the shrimp and grits. Beet salad was farm fresh. For the main courses, can't miss with the brisket Mac 'n Cheese or the walleye served over jalapeño slaw. What really makes the place shine is the service. "Casual, yet elegant." We will be back. SOON.

Very very good. Fried green maters were spot on. Jambalaya was great even though they left out the crayfish. Owners are very friendly and hands on as the come to almost every table. You can tell they take a lot of pride in all aspects of the restaurant.

Just had an excellent dining experience here for Valentine's Day. Genuinely friendly staff (from hostess, waiter, manager who came to greet each table, etc) and unique, eye-catching decor (much of which is related to the building's history-- for instance, the room that once served as the original owner's library is wallpapered to create the illusion of full bookshelves, while another room featuring chairs hanging from the ceiling is an apparent homage to rumors of a resident ghost who stacks furniture). The food was delicious from the first course to last: we shared flash fried oysters, lobster bisque, and a spinach salad (all perfect), though the star starter might have been the complimentary biscuits with butter, marmalade, and honey they brought to each table. My husband ordered the pork shank, which was enormous and fall-off-the-bone tender, while I had the seared salmon with squash, bacon greens, apricot compote (great mix of sweet and savory). Creme brûlée and cocktails from the extensive drink menu rounded the meal out. We drove from Columbus to try this place out, and I'm so glad we did-- we'll be back!

Visiting from Los Angeles with colleagues. This place has fantastic food! If you are a foodie, this is the only place within 30-40 miles that has an impressive artsy setting (good for business dinners or special occasions). This restaurant brings a little bit of LA, NY and Seattle to Ohio. Phenomenal wine selection. Being from LA and having travelled all over the world, I was shocked that their selection was so good. This evening I had the chefs fish special with artichoke hearts and asparagus. This fish was excellently prepared. It was not fishy at all and the quality is equivalent to Crustaceans of Beverly Hills. It's new to their menu, but what a way to introduce Ohio to fish! Can't wait to see what they do to fried fish.

We have been multiple times and every time the food is delicious. The bartender knows what she is doing and the drinks are always on point. Try the chicken and waffle, this is not a request, do it!

We had been told by friends in Dublin that we "had to try it!", I'll be honest I was skeptical. Fine Dining in Marysville Ohio? After a brief drive we arrived seated and greeted by our server Philly she was extremely pleasant very knowledgeable about her menu and wine selection. We enjoyed a mouth watering filet with salad. Next time we will as Philly suggested come back for the famous chicken and waffle!

What a disappointment! Dinner started with 4 little biscuits the size of a quarter that weren't even very good. I ordered the salmon and my husband got the walleye. They were NOT cheap, but didn't come with a salad and we had to pay extra for a side of au gratin potatoes. They were good, but not great. The bill was $93.00 and we left hungry. Never again! Cameron Mitchell's they are NOT! If you go, eat first and bring lots of money.

I can't say enough about this place. Both of our steaks were absolutely amazing. I loved the decor and atmosphere in this place. Top notch. We were visiting from Iowa and got the opportunity to meet 2 of the owners who made sure our food was good. We felt like we got celebrity treatment. We would recommend this highly to anyone.

This is hands down the best place in Marysville to enjoy a perfectly cooked meal. Great atmosphere, awesome staff, and bar none the best food in town. No need to worry about prices, they have excellent food options for every budget and the warm hearted staff is always eager to great their guest with open arms. If you haven't had the chance to check this place out, you should soon. I promise you will not be disappointed. Just walk right in and enjoy the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you are among family. Excellent people serving excellent food. There is no better experience within driving distance.

What a delightful find! We were here for lunch today, and the ambiance and food were great. The manager even took the time to show us the house--wow! We will find reasons to visit again soon.

My husband and I ate there based on Yelp reviews and recommendation from a co worker....I ordered a blue moon draft beer...the keg tapped out...no big deal the bartender will get another one....NOPE...out of blue moon draft.....who runs out of draft beer?? I ordered the 5 oz filet cooked rare with a side of au gratin potatoes....waitress came by to inform us that they got shorted on their produce and would we substitute asparagus or green beans....fine no problem. Our steaks were cooked to order and they were very tender. That's the best I can say about our dinner. Salads were bitter greens..sides had no flavor at all..vegetables were undercooked and nothing was seasoned with butter, salt or pepper. And the food was lukewarm at best...not hot at all. This was an expensive dinner that was incredibly disappointing. We won't be back and we will stick to J Alexander's from now on.

Great little spot in Marysville. The ribeye and wild boar were excellent, the oysters were decent too. But the highlights of our meal were the delicious beverages and sides that came with our entrees. My peach jalapeño martini was outstanding and my husband and I both really, really enjoyed the Kentucky mules. As an admitted meat/seafood addict, not often do I feel like the sides outshine the main dish, especially when the main dishes are this good, but they did here. Not just one, but both my husband's AND my potato dishes (one a lovely sweet potato dish the other a scrumptious Gorgonzola scalloped type potato) were incredible!

Our company's holiday party was hosted here, and I cannot say enough great things about the restaurant! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was next to none and the beauty of the place speaks for itself. I ordered the salmon, and I can honestly say it's the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend this upscale dining experience to anyone, and I will be visiting more often as well!

Wow. First time. Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful bartender that made drinks like I was in New York City. ....e.g. Sezarac. Filet was cooked perfectly and everyone was super nice. Great selection of Bourbon too. Definitely going back next week.

Atmosphere and service was top notch. Food amazing and the ability to sit on the patio even if it rains out is great. I had the Corn Chowder, Corn Crusted Perch with Asparagus and cheddar cheese hoecakes....dessert consisted of banana nut bread with vanilla bean ice cream via caramel drizzle. You really can't beat this. All the courses were delicious. Given that it was restaurant week, my wife and I got a lot of food for the dollar. I can't wait to return and try some more southern style dishes. Great spot in Marysville and I hope they will be there for a long long time.
