Sloopy's has been in Lakeside for years and has left a deep footprint. It's pizza won MANY awards for best pizza since 2003. They have delicious basic flavors and ingredients but even better speciality pizzas. Some to look out for: the Hibachi Pizza is unlike anything I've ever had before. They have a friendly staff and nice owners. I have ordered out from here and sat down to eat over 25 times in my life and will continue to go back. They deliver even outside of the Lakeside gates and have good prices! I will be back again and again

Pizza here is awesome! I've had it several times and it is always cooked perfectly. Seriously, perfection every. single. time. The menu has a large variety and so far everything we have tried is very good. The broaster chicken is moist, the salads are large and fresh with delicious ingredients, the meats on the subs are very good. The cheesy bread is great and ISNT garlic flavored. It's rare to find that. We enjoy it very much. My favorite though? Pizza. Specially the a"Paige's Delight". It's so interesting and all of the flavors work together perfectly. The chicken is high quality, which is rare for pizza. My personal tip is ask for extra cilantro. You won't regret it. This is the best pizza in the area by a long shot. Make sure to ask about your free 90 minute pass if you are going to the Lakeside location, otherwise parking will cost you $8.50 because it's inside a private community.

This place was pretty awesome. It was the first time I stopped in as I was in town seeing a family member. I wish I would have tried the pizza but since I had pizza the previous night, alas I had to try something different. In comes the Perch sandwich along with a side salad with homemade sweet Italian dressing. Um, it was delicious! The fish was cooked perfectly. There could have been a few more pickles and toppings for the sandwich as the bun made thing seem dry (despite the tarter sauce on it). I'll definitely stop back if I'm in the area. We also had cheesy bread which was killer and some sweet potato fries. Definitely look this place up if you're in the neighborhood. Just FYI - Lakeside is a dry town apparently so if you're looking for booze, well son, you're fresh outta luck!

I've eaten many, many pizzas. I've been to the top pizza places in Chicago and New York and Sloopy's holds up to the best of the best. Definitely in my top 5 best pizzas (which also includes Gino's and Giordano's). Whether you want a classic style pizza or you want to be a little adventurous, Sloopy's caters to even the pickiest pizza lovers.

Sloopy's is an essential stop in Lakeside. On my most recent visit, we dined in. I shared the 9" Mexican-style pizza for lunch. I was very impressed by the deep-dish dough's flavor and texture. The toppings were yummy. Service good, prompt, prices reasonable. They offer a discount if you pay cash. Parking downtown can be tricky- it's best to walk. The air-conditioning was welcome on a hot August day. A great alternative-take yiur pizza to the dock or Hotel Lakeside porch!

Great pizza shop. They get SUPER busy every night during the summer, as you might imagine. The food is really pretty good and the shop itself is pretty unique. Location is really great. They have been really great to my family who live in the area when we do get togethers there.

Loved coming here as a kid and still love it. There really isn't much competition for Sloopy's in little old Lakeside, but even still the food here is awesome. The personal pan pizza is just perfection, and their broasted chicken is also so good. Of course the restaurant itself can be pretty hot and crowded in the summer but I've never had trouble getting a table and you can always get take out. Be sure to call ahead and check their hours if you're coming in for a holiday weekend, they tend to change the hours depending on the flow of business and events/holidays in town.

Really good and unique pizza. The Hibachi pizza is very good - an Oriental feast on a crust. The meatball supreme is also awesome. The basic cheese pie is good but not great. Service is mediocre - usually running behind on pick up time & not the most pleasant wait staff.

Best pizza you will ever have! Our family calls it "Mystic Pizza" because we don't know whAt makes a pizza so much better than another but this is incredible. The sauce is perfection and the crust is just right. The right amount and combo of cheese. Do not leave without ordering the cheesy bread, I dream about it! Prices are very fair for a vacation area. Love the look of interior: just like a "pizza joint". The one thing is that they do put on the pepperoni UNDER the cheese in their pepp pizza so we request it on top so it crisps. Wish I had more than 5 stars for my favorite place!

We got this ordered to the hotel in port Clinton and the delivery was nice and quick. The home fry pizza was delicious! We added jalapeños and hot sauce and all the toppings were generous. Sauce wasn't too sweet and the crust had some good crunch. The pineapple pizza was good as well. Fries and salad were good and well portioned, but the breadsticks were lacking flavor. I'd skip them. Overall it was a good meal for a decent price.

This is not your run of the mill greasy, tired out dough and cheese! I sampled 5 of thier pizzas at the 2014 Moose Lodge Pizza Challenge and I thought they were all delicious. I am already craving their veggie pizza (olive oil base), hot sauce pizza and hibachi pizzas!

YU-UM. Def in my top 5 of pizza's. We just got pepperoni & mushroom, but def delic! And honestly, i am not a huge pizza fan. This was better than anything we have found in Toledo.

The BF swears by the classic TeeBee Deluxe, but during our most recent Lakeside visit, we tried the Hibachi for the first time and had to go back for another. It's magical. I'm also a huge fan of the meatball sub.

Such great attention to detail here, especially in specialties like the Hibachi and the Rose Bowl, which features a combination of fresh vegetables no chain could ever match. If you're looking for cheap greasy pizza, order up some take-out garbage from Domino's - these are finely crafted pies that are well, well worth the price. I'm from Marblehead but live in Texas where I run a weekly dining/nightlife magazine, and Sloopy's take-out has become an oft-enjoyed tradition for my family when I'm back in town. If this spot was in my coverage area, it'd make our top pizza joint feature every year. Owners Matt and Brad are hard workers with great attention to the little details that really make a difference in small-town locally owned businesses like these.

We needed hot, sloppy pizza stat! All of our pizzas were delicious, the wait staff attentive. Didn't give 5 stars because of limited parking and crowded loud space. Also, this area is dry- no beer or spirits!

The cheesy bread is second to none! The pizza is delicious as well as the sauce. The chicken was a little over cooked. I would recommend having it delivered between Memorial day and Labor day as Lakeside is over run with people.

The second best pizza that I've ever had. Second only to Chicago's Giordano's pizza. The national awards that this pizza has received do not even begin to explain how delicious it is. This is a must go for any visit to lakeside or even the Catawba Island area. My family visits this lovely little neighborhood at least once a year and we've never had a bad stay at Sloopy's.

Been a customer for years - think I'm pretty much done . Prices continue to go up. If you want a shock - Order a med pizza. From the price you wouldn't think your getting a 1 person pizza - but you are. I don't think the love that launched this business is still alive. If it is - I don't feel it. I feel ripped off.

This has changed owners. There have been some change of owner glitches. We had a problem of a delivery never coming two weeks ago, but the new owner has said he will make it right. But we have to go in to the restaurant to collect. I hope he can get his stuff together, as it once had real good food, good service and reasonable pricing.

Excellent pizza! There are some good pizza joints around this area, however, you will be hard pressed to find a pizza with the outstanding sauce that they offer. The ingredients were top notch, and the quality was evident. I would highly recommend! It's become our resident favorite while at the lakes.

Oh Sloopy's how I love thee. Your pizza is legendary and the very thought of eating some makes me think of summers spent vacationing in Lakeside. The pizza is great. I tend to get a large pizza with pepperoni which I share with my cousins aka my best Lakeside buds and a giant pitcher of root beer. We usually go for lunch because dinner is a time for the whole extended family to get together and talk about the days activities. I love the decore of Sloopy's. It is decorated in college and pro sports team pennants. I'm proud that my college pennant hangs inside. I was able to take friends from college to visit Sloopy's for lunch one day when we were working at Cedar Point for a fundraiser. Sloopy's also delivers which is awesome. If you are within the Lakeside boundaries they delivery people ride bikes which is super unique and cool!

We tried the award-winning Meatball Supreme pizza - I can see why it won the award. Absolutely perfect. From the toppings to the sauce to the crust, I wouldn't have changed a single delicious thing.

Best place for a family lunch or dinner in Lakeside. Yes I'm biased - My family loves sports and delicious food. If its your first time, you MUST try the pizza. Fun atmosphere, above average service, and bonus points for being locally owned and operated.

This is some of the best pizza ever. And it is in a great location, Lakeside. We have it everytime we visit Lakeside. My favorite is the pepperoni and sausage. The salads are huge, typically feeding 4 or more. They give a discount for paying in cash.
