So in February I tried to "eat in" and it was literally freezing; the staff were wearing their jackets and the vents were blowing unheated (and maybe chilled) air. I asked the manager and she said they were waiting for corporate to adjust the temp, that each location cannot control its own heating/AC. Dave, i did not know you were so anal; wish you'd have taken your meds. The food is Wendy's food. There will be a 50-50 chance the person taking your order is in training, and yes, friends, that will be S-L-O-W. They know the best time to train the new guy is during the lunchtime rush. Add in the Kent biddy crowd that manages to stand in line for 10 minutes and still not know what they want, and that half hour lunch break will turn into carryout. And you will enjoy standing there hoping someone notices you need a refill, as Dave was apparently too OCD to let you get your own refill as well. Last complaint: exiting this place during lunchtime is the pits; cannot turn left, and even turning right can be tough, esp. if you are hoping to squeak immediately into the left turn lane to head south on Lincoln (easier to go around the block). Who thought putting the exit 20 feet from a traffic light was a good idea? And being mostly clueless, most Kent drivers stoping for the traffic light will not leave an opening so you can turn left into the lot. Guys, do everyone a favor and buy the mini-lot where the Robin Hood once stood and put an exit onto Lincoln St. Oh yeah, don't expect them to shovel the walk, so prepare to walk in the parking lot slush. On the plus side: clean, across from campus, and they can cook as well as the other Wendy's. But it is so f-in corporate, so why not try someplace local, or at least some place interested in giving you a good customer experience instead of being a clueless pain?
