They had a special Valentine's day menu with a choice of several different courses ...our dinners were around $50 per person. The atmosphere was very romantic and the service was great. Tucci's is one of my favorite restaurants!! I love that they have a seasonal menu and fresh fish. The last time I went there I sat in the bar and didn't get the best service, so I moved to a table. At the table I was greeted promptly and had a wonderful dining experience. Recently we tried the wild mushroom and brie pizza and it was awesome. One down fall that I would say about their menu is that a lot of dishes have some sort of pork in it. For those who don't eat pork, it really limits the menu. In the summer the patio is amazing and one of the best spots to be around town!

Tucci's is a the type of restaurant that is far more about atmosphere and style than actual substance. So if you want to have a classy dinner in a well-to-do Columbus suburb, this is the place for you. If you actually know a thing about Italian food and Italian food that is done WELL, well then, Tucci's is not the place. I think many entrepreneurs just loosely throw on the "Italian cuisine" moniker as a marketing device. Why do I say this? Well, for one, this is one of several "Italian" restaurants I've been to that serves tapas. "Tapas?" you say, "I thought those are a popular part of Spanish restaurants! I didn't know that Italian cuisine utilized this style of eating as well." Well, dear friend, this is because TAPAS ARE NOT ITALIAN. You should not be going into an Italian restaurant and be handed a menu that mainly consists of a list of hot and cold small plates. Restaurants do this because it is trendy and it makes people feel refined and cultured, despite the nagging issue of cultural accuracy. Italian food should be served in large portions and shared. When I order a lamb chop for my main dish, I don't want one tiny little chop. Even with my appetite, I should be full after eating at an Italian joint. I hardly remember what dishes were ordered at this meal, mostly because for the price tag the were extremely lackluster. The only other detail I haven't blocked out my memory is the risotto that came along with one of the dishes. It was terrible. I'm not as much of a food snob as I must sound in this entry, but when you are paying a decent amount for some food it should be cooked properly. I'm not saying it had to be exceptional, but risotto is meant to be soft, creamy and hearty. This risotto was undercooked and offensively crunchy. If Tucci's spent more time on making its food taste sweet instead of creating an atmosphere to attract misinformed suburbanites, it would actually deserve a decent rating.

Had dinner with a colleague here while on a business trip. We shared apps of edemame and mussels. Both were excellent. The sourdough bread disappeared quickly as we both dipped it into the mussel broth... My entree was the short ribs on a bed of whipped sweet potatoes with a jus/coffee reduction. I wasn't in love with the sweet potatoes. But, the meat was tender and delicious with the sauce. My partner had some shrimp/pasta dish which she didn't fall in love with. The service was great. The atmosphere was nice. This is a good place for a date.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted with two glasses of champagne which was a very nice touch. My husband ordered the oysters and I got the house salad for appetizers; both were delicious. Based on our waitress' recommendations my husband ordered the Sea Bass and I ordered the short ribs; both dishes were amazing. We also received a free dessert which was a nice surprise and ordered the silk pie. Everything was delicious and we will definitely return.

After hearing that I would be going to Tucci's for a friends birthday I did what I always do when I find out I am going somewhere I have never been before. Of course I Yelped it. After reading a few reviews I had an idea in mind of what to expect. I am glad I did so I could be better prepared for my evening. Alot of reviews mention how it was a small and crowded it was. We had a party of 11 and there was plenty of room for our large group. We did have reservations we I would say is a must for a weekend because I did see alot of people waiting at the bar for tables. I am not a wine person and this place is defiantly a wine place, that being said they had Scrimshaw on tap and after getting hooked on the stuff a Columbus Beer fest and not being able to find it anywhere in Columbus I was impressed. As for the food I went with the Beef Short rib after doing some research and it was fabulous. It was on a bed of mashed sweet potatoes with some crispy potato straws on top. The beef itself was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. The topper though was the bacon in the mashed sweet potatoes. Way to step up your game there. The other start of the night was Outrigger Canoe Combo appetizer. Another person in our party got that and it looked great, however I don't know how you could have room for anything else after eating that. So to wrap things up I had a great experience here. My food was great, our server did a great job, and I would defiantly come back. Maybe next time when the weather is nicer and I can take advantage of that pretty nice patio they have.

Very nice restaurant in Dublin,OH. It was a beautiful day, there was live jazz on the patio and the food was fantastic. I would not really categorize Tucci's as an Italian restaurant, just a restaurant that serves 'some' Italian food. I had a fantastic fish dish, from that well known Mediterranean fish the 'Walleye'. It was really very good and I would return the next time I am in town.

A reliable favorite. Every establishment understandably may throw me a so-so dish or two, but that surely hasn't occurred at Tucci's. My all-time favorite is their wood-fired roasted chicken, which is, quite simply, the best chicken meal I've had anywhere. Not just a convergence of planets, either, as it held-up to repeated dining experiences there. Unfortunately they regard it as merely a seasonal dish as there have been months pass when it doesn't appear on the menu. Possibly the oven-wood goes out of season, the chicken certainly doesn't.

This is going to be a short review (for me), because I was taught not to say anything if I didn't have anything good to say well...I don't. So, my wife and I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now, and we finally had the opportunity to do so. We walk inside, which was, on a positive note, quite modern and well decorated. It took nearly three minutes for us to be recognized by either of the two hostesses and we were standing right in front of them. We did the usual, how many people. I replied "two" the hostesses replied "okay, what's your last name?" and was done with her sentence. So my wife asked "how long?" and the response was "there are three groups of people ahead of you." Now I ask you, dose that really answer the question? I don't think so. after further prying we got the response " 10 to 15 mint es, but keep checking back in." They took our name, did not take a number or give us a pager, but I am supposed to keep checking back in. Okay, you can see this is not promising at all. After standing right in front of the hostess station for about 15 or 20 minutes I checked back in, and the hostess forgot who I was, but thankfully a table was opening up for us. We were seated. Let's talk about crowded. one side of the table is a long bench with multiple groups sitting next to one another and the other side are normal chairs relatively close together. Whatever, we can deal with that, it's not my idea of romantic, but it is like being one close family. I hope you like the people sitting next to you. I waiter came over and simply said " do you want anything?" or at least that is all my wife and I both heard, I may be wrong because the place is loud and hard to have a conversation. So, anyway, we both asked for some waters. a few minutes later we were presented with our waters - fine. While we were deciding on our meals I was sipping on my water when my wife noticed that my water had a dead fly floating at the bottom- gross. Now, I totally understand that these things happen and easily fixed, so I am not bashing them completely, but I was just not impressed with things up to this point and nor was a pleased with the initial response from our waiter when we confronted him about it. He simply asked "do you want a new glass of water?" Okay, I am not a rocket scientist, but I think that is a bit too easy to figure out. So, he gave me a new glass. We then ordered our meals I ordered a pizza with pineapple (hold the pork) and an arugula salad. My wife ordered a seasonal pizza ( we are both still wondering what is seasonal about mushrooms, onions, and olives) and a Caesar salad, and a bottle of wine for us to share. The waiter returned to the table with our bread , which was the one true positive because it was very tasty and warm. At that time our waited informed us that because of the whole water thing that they would give us a free desert. That was more of the response we thought we would have gotten initially, but maybe because they were a little busy he was a bit distracted, a nice regroup non the less. I salad came out fairly promptly and, by no fault of the restaurant, I shouldn't have gotten the arugula salad it was too bitter, but the dressing and the candied walnuts were a nice counter. My wife seemingly enjoyed hers, the only problem was they were taken away a bit too soon, as in when our pizzas came. As for the pizza's neither were all that good, I liked the crust because it was fresh like the bread, but it was limp and non crusty, there was no sauce and the pineapples, were fresh, but way too sweet. So, far nothing impressed me about this experience. Next my wife decided to get dessert, so we ordered the pineapple upside down cake with a side of vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream. Eureka!! the one item that made me smile. Here is the last part of the story which was a happier ending then you would expect from reading the above. When our waiter came out with our dessert he announced that instead of paying for our dessert they were going to pay for our bottle of wine, which by the way was not cheap. (I guess they knew I would be yelping about this one, huh?) So here it is, the bottom line: The good: Nice atmosphere The server and not our waiter was pleasant to us every time he came to the table (i.e. when I said "thank you" he replied "it's my pleasure." and I believed him too. They comped our wine Pineapple upside down cake The bad: Hostess who do not promptly greet you or remember who you are Waiter who does not seemingly care if you are eating here or somewhere else (I will call him icey-hot as that was the feeling we both got from him) A pricey meal for just okay food quality without the wine our meal was just about 50 dollars (I call that price for pizza, salad, wine, and dessert) Claustrophobic seating And a pretty limited menu, I really was not impressed with my options So, I guess I am not going back unless someone else pays

Everything about Tucci's is of the highest level of quality, but I'll be damned if the clientele here isn't one of the more obnoxious collections of pseudo-upscale suburbanites that I've ever encountered in my lifetime. Given the "downtown" Dublin location, it makes plenty of sense. In my opinion, this area is the epicenter of boisterous, credit card wielding midwesterners that feel like they're entitled to roll up to this place in their certified pre-owned Cadillac, tip the valet with pocket change, and loiter for hours on end while talking at decibel levels that would put the crowd at an OSU football game to shame. If you've lived in Columbus long enough, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Michael U certainly does, at least. If this is what life as an OSU alum-turned-townie has in store for me, then I need to get the hell away from this town as fast as possible. These middle management mavericks and their Boxster-driving trophy wives are giving this town a bad rap. Now that I have that rant out of the way, on to the reasons why Tucci's still gets four stars in spite of all that. Simply put, the food here is incredible. What I love about the menu is that it presents more of an Italian spin on traditional fare from other parts of the world as opposed to a bucket list of pastas and other staple Italian dishes that you'd find just as easily at The Olive Garden. My first meal here started off with an appetizer of blackened scallops, something I'd never dared to try before at any other restaurants. The strawberry vinaigrette that lightly glazed the scallops proved to be a huge payoff for this somewhat pricey ($10) warm-up to the main event. The garlic shrimp spaghetti I chose for my entree was both light and hearty at the same time, with a mix of peanuts and scallions in a citrus sauce perfectly topping a generous helping of fresh pasta and shrimp. At $18, I was confident that it was worth every penny I spent on it. So all in all, the food and dining atmosphere far outweighs the white-flight buffoonery that Tucci's unfortunately plays host to on weekend nights.

fantastic italian cuisine. note: by "italian" i don't mean just various pastas and your typical chicken saute' dishes--this is a pretty eclectic mix of FANTASTIC seafood, steaks, chops, and pastas. wine selection is substantial but the mark-up isn't. the mussels appetizer is an absolute MUST. can get noisy and crowded at times, but to me this has always been the sign of a great restaurant. in terms of legitimacy, let me put it this way: my italian professor (who is an italian immigrant) says Tuccis is her favorite italian place in columbus. they have a happy hour special at their bar for half price appetizer too, i believe.

Eggs Benedict Review (ate here for brunch): Scale 1-10 with 10 being best 10 - Eggs poached soft (cooked perfectly) - served with 3 eggs; 10 - Hollandaise Sauce - excellent, but needed 1 extra lemon juice wedge (my personal preference), also seemed more like it was made with heavy cream instead of just eggs, butter lemon and salt - super delicious though; 9 - Thin sliced Canadian Bacon; 10 - English Muffin - not bad not great...probably off the shelf; 10 - Service; 10 - for the excellent fresh berries too! We first went to Tucci's for Restaurant Week last January. This is an account of that visit. We had passed this place several times and it's been somewhere I've wanted to try. They are known for steaks and seafood. Parking is a little tight in downtown Dublin, but we found plenty of spaces in the far back lot. My first impression going in was this place was rather fancy and very professional. The tables were a little cramped together, but some may describe this as cozy. We were seated in the front area, so I'm not sure what the rest of the restaurant is like. It was a Friday night and the place was bustling. The waitress brought us a bread bowl with olive oil/herb/balsamic vinegar dipping sauce. The bread was thick cut and surprisingly spongy. We loved it, but I wish the waitress had not brought out a second bowl. I got the clam chowder, filet with yukon gold mashed potatoes, and the french silk pie. My husband got the steamed mussels, the same filet, and the creme brulee. Our appetizers were outstanding. My clam chowder was slightly spicy and chocked full of clams and potatoes. His mussels were tender and the broth was super flavorful--good for dipping the bread into. The highlight of our meal was the filet and mashed potatoes. My husband said it was the best steak he'd had in a while. We both really appreciated the usage of yukon gold potatoes in the mashed potatoes. So much more buttery tasting than regular potatoes. Because of the bread we'd eaten earlier and the soup/mussels we had a hard time finishing our main courses. I might have left a bite or two of potato. Luckily our desserts were small. The creme brulee was pretty standard. My chocolate silk pie was creamy and delicious. We've been back to Tucci's twice since then--once for brunch and once for dinner. At brunch, I had the croissant sandwich with fruit and hashbrowns. I remember it was delicious. The time we had dinner, I had a fish dish with a shrimp ceviche salad and jasmine rice. I was very impressed by the dish. The sauce really went well with the fish and I loved the ceviche.

I went to Tucci's on 2 different occasions, one for a happy hour and one for brunch, so I'll give 2 separate mini reviews. Happy hour: 3 stars. The bar is very nice and the bartender was attentive, but the prices were expensive for a happy hour, and I wasn't overly impressed with the hummus and pita we ordered. We asked the bartender for more pita, and she charged us an extra $1 for that... kind of disappointing. Brunch: 5 stars. I came with a fairly large group of 12 for a friend's birthday, and I was very impressed with the server's ability to keep up with our drink/food orders. We even had members of our party leaving early and arriving late, and she still did her best to make sure everyone got their food on time. The food was absolutely delicious, and I wanted to try one of everything! Several others ordered the various types of eggs benedict (they have 3 different twists on them!) and they looked AMAZING. I tried the French toast and the ham and asparagus omelet, and both were huge portions. They could both easily be shared between 2 people. Overall: 4 stars. I like the ambiance of Tucci's, it gives off a very classy vibe, but it can be a little intimidating if you've never been. For a bunch of 20-something's walking through the door for the first time, some were concerned that brunch was going to break the bank. In reality, that was not the case, and I would reccomend Tucci's to anyone looking for a place to eat in Old Dublin. I will definitely be back!

I wandered in on a weekday afternoon, and felt a little out of place. I was on my way to work, by myself; this is more of an upscale, social place. It'd be a great date spot or business lunch place. Pretty much an ideal wine bar. The decor is warm and dark, and it's fairly small. Service was good, with a small flaw I'll get to. The food was excellent. They bring out some bread and dipping oil; good, not great. The bread was way too doughy; I think it needed a bit longer in the oven. I started with lobster bisque, which was excellent. Creamy, rich with flavor, and lots of shredded lobster on top. There were a lot of interesting things on the menu; I went with the Gorgonzola burger, since I didn't have to worry about my breath. Cheese, pickled onions, a great bun, fresh veggies, a perfectly-cooked burger, large and full of flavor. Sided with good fries, and a great salad- I picked the arugula, with candied walnuts, figs, great greens, etc. After I got my soup (very quickly) I waited half an hour for the burger. Seriously. I mean, I got it well done (steak rare to medium, thanks, but ground meat- cook it,) but it does not take that long to make a burger. I think it was a fluke. The waiter apologized a couple of times. I made it to work on time, and it all worked out. But I wish they'd said what was going on, and maybe brought the salad while I waited. Anyway- it's a great place. Excellent food. Good service. A bit pricey, but really not bad for what you get.

Tried this place for restaurant week and I will definitely be coming back again! It was on the $30 prix fixe menu and given that I often don't get an appetizer or dessert for myself I decided to indulge a little bit. The restaurant had an awesome patio, and there was a live band playing some sweet jazz tunes so we decided to sit out there. The waiter was prompt and having never been there before he explained how everything on the menu was house made from the salad dressing to the breads to the chocolate mousse desserts. For dinner I had the clam chowder to start which was awesome. Had a nick kick of lemon to it as well which I've never had in my chowders before. For my entree I had the veal meatloaf which was just WOW. Super tender meatloaf with a nice sweet candied maple crispy exterior. It was a generous portion served over a mushroom gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans. I loved every bite of this dish. For dessert the waiter recommended the white chocolate mousse with fresh berries which was made in house. It was definitely amazing and not too sweet. It was also a huge portion, easily enough for 2-3 people. Tucci is a great restaurant in the heart of downtown Dublin and I will definitely be back again!

This is a great lunch spot if you work nearby. The combos are really delicious and service is quick so you don't end up spending over an hour for lunch. My faves include the grilled cheese, beet/egg salad, and meat sauce pasta (pasta is homemade!). During summer, the patio is a great option. Also, access to the nearby HUGE parking lot is very helpful.

Best salmon entree we have had in along time. Cooked perfectly, light and flavorful the dish will stay in my mind for some time to come. Would love to ask the chef how to attempt this at home. Pasta selections were limited which is why this only got 3 stars. Surprising since it's an Italian venue. There is an old standby with angle hair they can make that's not listed.
This place is just ok. Not worth the price in my opinion. Walleye was good though, I'll admit that. Mussels pretty good too but most other dishes were just ok and the tucci berry cocktail was just sour.

Went there for date night, no reservation but had a table at 7pm on a Friday night. Drink service was a bit slow but they made up for that with some aggressive pours. Food was wonderful. The two highlights were the clam chowder which was unlike any I have had before. Had a bit of heat to it which really set it apart. The walleye mean was fantastic! Fish was cooked to perfection and the ginger butter sauce was amazing. Could have made a meal just out of the shrimp ceviche that was on the plate. All in all, nice place for a date. Looking forward to warmer weather and checking out the patio. Parking gets cramped in downtown Dublin. There is a valet for $2 but you will have to be patient with slow service.

Today was my first time at Tucci's, despite working nearby for several years. I definitely regret not trying it sooner. For lunch I had the BLT (minus aioli) and was impressed with the quality of the ingredients. You can tell the bread was fresh and the bacon cooked perfectly. I had a good experience here even though there were not any vegan entree options (there was, however, one vegetarian entree option: Veggie Risotto). To my delight, Tucci's had a couple options that were easy to alter in order to meet my needs. I got the house salad (removed the cheese, added some veggies) and a side of fries. The waitress, not catching on to my dietary preferences, asked if I wanted chicken or some scallops on my salad, which prompted me to order their roasted bellas-- darn good choice! The salad was okay...it was small...maybe a little larger than a side-sized salad...and a little boring despite my adjustments. My dinner mates order the baked rigatoni and the sesame-walleye meal. Both seemed really pleased with their meals. A couple of us ordered their Riesling, which was fantastic! We finished the meal off with the pineapple and mango sorbet, which was also delicious. We were stuck in a booth near the entrance, which was awful because it was freezing outside and people congregated near our table a little too often for my taste. And, like I said, not a lot to choose from if you prefer to avoid meat or animal juices. Good place to go otherwise. Oh- and there is parking in the back of the restaurant... it's hard to find at night but it does exist.

Let me start off saying that my waiter Patrick was awesome and the lobster bisque was really, really good. Other than that, what an unfortunate disappointment. I ordered the filet medium well. I got it, cut into it, it was tough and I was surprised so I turned my cell phone light on it to check how done it was and it was well done, no pink at all. Patrick took it back and had them remake it. Through no fault of his, it took forever for the 2nd steak. The GM brought it out and asked me to cut in to it and it was just shy of bloody in the center. Still not close to medium well. And then, and this is where I got irritated, she told me that they cut into the first one and there was a small ribbon of pink in the middle. Well. I'm here to tell you that there was no pink at all. She offered to cool the 2nd steak longer and I told her no thank you, I was finished with the evening. They comped the bisque and edamame that I had and only charged me with for the glass of wine. I could tell Patrick felt really bad but it was not his fault. I've never had a manager tell me before that I was basically wrong. So, now I'm still hungry and irritated. Doubt I'll go back when I'm back in town.

Watch those wine list prices! The bartenders will not specify your pour and you could get a shocking bill like I did. There are too many better places to have a drink in Dublin where they dont try to confuse and rip off thier customers.That's all I'm saying. Loved all the quality ingredients and the friendly service! Scallops were to die for!!! Not over cooked and perfectly seared. Canoe combo jumped all over the place with flavors and seemed like a lot of thought was put into providing savory snacks to go along with one's vino or martini choice...not filling...pricey...but yum! Ahi Tuna was recommended and cooked perfectly and had the right amount of sweet versus salty. However, very pricey for the amount of tuna. Still would *so* come back if in town again.

Went here while staying in Dublin for the night. Good food and nice staff, that's for sure. I sat at the bar, since I was on my own. Seats were available inside with some wait for patio seating. The humus plate was delicious. Good portion, a little over priced, but still good. I ordered sangria for a drink. Good!!! Good selection of wine and if you have questions, someone on staff is available to answer anything you have questions on. For dinner, I had spaghetti bolognese. The 3 types of meat in the sauce was good, and you could definitely taste the flavors involved. I got the half size portion and I still took some home with me. I've been back now for another happy hour and dinner. Their happy menu has changed and really isn't that special anymore and only lasts til 6. For dinner, their walleye was underwhelming and breaded, which is not described on the menu. Menu states it comes with plantains but they're really dried plantain chips/crisps. The ceviche was kind of a joke - minuscule shrimp and lacking flavor. Had some bites of their arugula salad and it was okay but overpriced at $8. I would have liked to have had their pasta but they don't offer gluten free which is kind of ridiculous.

I live in Chicago and was in Dublin for business and was so happy to find Tucci's. This place is delicious, great atmosphere and great service. The food is on par with excellent Chicago restaurants and the prices are totally reasonable for what you get. I had the Sesame Walleye which was the thickest piece of Walleye I've ever had. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The sauce underneath it delicious. Perfectly paired with the rice, picked onions, tomatoes and shrimp. So so good. My companion had the filet with a side of mushroom that were out of this world. Oh and the Clam Chowder? One of the best I've had. Very good wine selection. Overall a great experience.

We were in Columbus visiting relatives, and went to Tucci's for an early dinner simply because it was a beautiful day, we happened to be there, and they had ample outdoor seating. It was a good choice. There were eight of us, and they moved two tables together to accommodate us. It was a Sunday, and they offer wines at retail prices on Sundays, which saved us quite a bit of money. We really didn't know what we wanted, and our ordering was disorganized and slow, but our waiter, Patrick, was absolutely unflappable and brought us everything we wanted as we ordered it. Virtually everything we ordered was excellent. They have something called a Canoe Platter, which is a plate of appetizers: blackened scallops, coconut rice cakes, fried plantains and sirloin tips. The scallops here are so good we ordered them four times. When a ninth person joined us, Patrick, without saying a word, took a chair from an empty table and set it at ours. He is a fine waiter, present as soon as needed, invisible otherwise, as if possessing a sixth sense. Prices here are average for a fine restaurant, mostly in the $15 to $20 range, although the delicious house salad was only $6. I recommend Tucci's very much. During our visit to the Columbus area, we dined at several highly rated restaurants, and Tucci's was easily the best.

After seeing a post on Facebook showing their Farm to Plate menu, we had to try it. We showed up early before the crowds and we were seated outside quickly. My wife and I ate entirely off the that menu. The Duck Appetizer was great and not "gamey". The Caprese salad and Lake Erie Perch were delicious. If you go, save room for the Trio of Berry Sorbet. If you are looking for a patio with a nice relaxing atmosphere and great food, this place should be on your list.

Confession: I was not expecting to like Tucci's as much as I did. I'm not a huge fan of Matt the Miller's (with associated ownership), and I was a little wary of words like "California Bistro" out in the suburbs. To my pleasant surprise, the meal was fantastic! I had the mussels as an appetizer... I would take a bath in that broth. My walleye entree was delicious with a sticky rice and shrimp civiche... the perfect fusion dish. The only unbalanced element was the too-big plantain crisps on one end, but easy to work around. I imbibed with two adult beverages. The strawberry/basil/balsamic martini with Watershed vodka tasted fresh and garden-y, not syrupy sweet. The tessora limone pour for dessert was great. I love to see Columbus' local spirits being represented in restaurants around town. The dessert list didn't thrill me, but then again I'm not much of a dessert person. It seemed a little too pedestrian with oreo crusts and sundaes. As for the atmosphere, again I was surprised. You'll forget you are in Dublin. The patio was absolutely gorgeous at night with string lights, plenty of room, and inventive plantings. Inside, simple luxury everywhere with little details like glass tiling. I would highly recommend a reservation made a few days in advance if you plan to go on a weekend. When trying to make a reservation earlier in the day, only a 9:30 spot was available on a Saturday. I was surprised to see the joint bustling at 9:30-- we didn't feel rushed through our meal at all. The kitchen closes at 11. Service was a little slow and could have been more attentive. It took a long time to get more bread to sop up that incredible broth, and I don't feel like our waitress really paid much attention to drinks and timing. On the back of your menu, you'll find more information about events and such. The emerald room looks like a great space to book for a special occasion dinner (a semi-private room lined with wine bottles). And Sundays are retail wine night! Parking isn't bad with a common lot out around back. It's easier than parking in German Village or the Short North, without the crowds of Easton. But, you'll still get unique flavors in an upscale setting. EDIT: I forgot to mention the strangely grammatically incorrect dessert menu. Someone needs to teach Tucci's about possessive versus plural use of "s". Dessert's! Dessert's what? A singular dessert possessing... chocolaty goodness? There were several of these on the menu and it was glaringly amateurish in an otherwise upscale experience.

I was looking for an excuse to head to Dublin and decided to hit Tucci's for lunch. It was a beautiful day and so we sat outside on their huge patio. The waiter was quick, professional, and reasonably attentive. My lunchbuddy had the salad with chicken, which was reported to be very good and a nice sized portion. I am a sucker for freshwater fish and ordered the blackened walleye sandwich. The sandwich was nice. Big and somewhat sloppy, which is to be expected for that kind of fare. The seasoning on the walleye was restrained. Sometimes blackened means peppered and charred, but the fillet was lightly cooked, not decimated. For dessert, I tried their pineapple orange sorbet which was very nice, and helped quell the walleye breath. It looked like they had a nice happy hour and lots of music at night. I will be keeping it on the list to try that out.

Tucci's California Bistro occupies a fine little dining nook on High Street in Old Dublin. The location has always been one where as I'm driving by, sometimes on my way to the office, I catch a quick glimpse and think, "How cute". I was happy to have a biz-dinner there and find out if cute equates to deelish. Yes! It does. Right to the menu/entree. I played it safe (yes - Catherine J. YELP - thank you) by ordering the sesame walleye with jasmine rice and shrimp ceviche. The tastes were excellent and, bonus, the entire meal came out near steaming hot. I don't know about you, the reader, but there is something to be said about cooked food actually arriving at the table hot. Others ordered entrees Ahi Tuna (the presentation and Oos and Aah meant Mikey Likey), Shrimp and Torchio (which got high marks), Halibut (another hit) and finally Vegetarian Pasta. This last one was ordered by a nutrician-savvy gent who lives & dies by tennis. He went nuts over the taste! So all good. Prior to the entrees the group had salads and a serving of hummus and pita. The hummus was spicey and the plate had ample portions (served 3 comfortably). Some at the table enjoyed a house white wine which sufficed. "Yours truly" kept beverage service to one ice tea and some H2O. Hey! It was a school night. The atmosphere was a little tight for my liking. Tucci's meets most bistro standards which, for me, means a little bit of community and closeness. The outdoor patio looks like a great place for a romantic dinner.... or a nice lunch during a less-than-hot summer day. Probably early spring or early fall would be terrific. Parking. Arrgh! Dinner was at 8PM and parking in Old Dublin can be a little challenging. I found spots behind the Starbucks across the street so what's a little walk between friends before dinner. I'm heading back to Tucci's. No doubt for the Vegetarian Pasta. And perhaps a happy hour... the inside bar looked enchanting.

We were guests of Tucci's this evening, and I was so unimpressed. We were hosting the President & CEO of an international company and had made Tucci's aware of this ahead of time. The inattentiveness was astounding, regardless of who it was sitting at our 12-top table. Food was mediocre at best. Will not be returning.
Tonight was my first visit here. I was expecting this place to be your typical fine dining with mediocre food and boy was I wrong. I had gotten the beef short ribs with whipped sweet potatoes and swiss chard & scallions. It was phenomenal the beef was tender & the kona reduction worked with the whole dish. My girlfriend got the chicken with angel hair and said it was phenomenal. We shared the pumpkin spice bread pudding for dessert. It was more like a cake, but was insanely good. Do not expect typical portions. Portions are how they should be ie meat is equal to your palm. We'll definitely be coming back.

Tucci's is gorgeous! The room with the wine bottles and round table -breathtaking! From the outside a charming cottage like the rest of Dublins historic downtown and a place like Tucci's fits right in. The service is first class, perfect for a date or anniversary dinner. Nice music playing, very quiet and romantic. They menu is a bit avant garde for my carnivorous husband and fried food loving son so we opted for drinks and desserts and I will have t be back for lunch where there are more options for the not so adventurous. It is a shame they are closed sundays and don't offer lunch on saturdays, so it will be hard to make it there unless you live you work in Dublin. We tried their homemade sorbet and todays option was wild berry which was delicious! Fresh, fruity, not too sweet and made me wish it was summertime! We had the SILK PIE oreo-hazelnut crust, milk chocolate custard, dark chocolate ganache, frangelico anglaise. It was jsut that, silky smooth, awesome crust and very very good vanilla cream completmenting the rich ganache. The best upscale oreo pie I have ever had. The caramel apple tartlettes were also good, I am a lover of all things overly sweet so in my case it could have been sweeter but it was also amazing nonetheless. It is a perfect dessert if you want something light and not overbearing, bursting with subtle flavor and attention to detail. Last but not least the pumpkin whoopie pies. Not being a fan of pumpkin and a little dissapointed the took the oatmeal ice cream sandwhich off the menu I still have them a whirl and they also did not dissapoint! Nothing artificial about this marshmellow cream, and my favorite part was the nut brittle on the side, I could eat the by the pound! Men, take your special someone here for a truely romantic night on the town!

Food was good, service was disappointing. My wife and I decided to try Tucci's for the first time on 9/19 for a late evening dinner. Host and hostess were very nice. Waiter was nice, but awfully slow and not attentive. After we were seated, it took about 10 minutes for him to come to our table. He gave as a menu and it took another 10 minutes for him to come back and take our drink orders. At this point I told him we wanted to order food as well. It took about another 8 minutes to get the drinks. He only checked in with us once at the very end. I would've ordered a 2nd beer if he wasn't so slow. We were done eating for about 15 minutes and he never came over to clear the table and drop off the bill. The front house manager saw that we were sitting idle for a long time and cleared the table for us. I wish I would've spent my $100 somewhere else. The waiter's service isn't reflective of the food. The food was very good. The service ruined the experience.

Last night was my first time at Tucci's. Unfortunately, it'll be my last. I went with a group of people and had a private room that was beautiful! We ordered a round of appetizers and a couple bottles of wine - everything was delicious. Our meals were delicious too! We were there for a couple of hours and really enjoyed our time. When the time came to leave and close out I wanted the check for my meal as well as my cousin's. The server took my card and the inevitable battle over the check started. It went back and forth and eventually my cousin won. Unfortunately, I will not be returning after the comment the server made "It'll probably decline anyway" when speaking of my debit card. This server made me feel inferior and low. Never in my life has someone made me feel this way. Whether this was a way of her being sarcastic or funny, it was hurtful and quite the opposite.

We finished our business meeting at Tucci's which one of our colleagues recommended. It sits in a small boutique district of Dublin and the restaurant is quaint and classy without being over the top. We came for a late lunch and were promptly sat. Our server was great...very attentive, polite and took good care of us! We began with a few apps...the Calamari fries, the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Edamame. The ravioli was delectable, served in a walnut cream sauce and garnished with arugula pesto and candied walnuts or pecans. Superb, truly. The calamari fries were served in a brown paper basket/bag and garnished with feta and brined pepperoncini, and served adjacent to a roasted tomato dip (which I didn't try) and a cucumber raita type sauce that was very good. The calamari was very tender but the breading was a little soggy. Still one of the better calamaris that I've had, so much so that I found myself snacking on them even cold. The Edamame was interesting...tossed with toasted sesame oil and sea salt. For lunch, I ordered the Mushroom Ravioli which came served in a spicy Marsala tomato sauce. In all honesty it sounded really good but I'm not in love with mushrooms so ordering something else may have been a better idea. Thankfully the ravioli was very good. The sauce, however, was a overwhelmingly acidic although fresh tasting with large chunks of mushroom and tomatoes. I think a splash of cream while cooking would've went a long way in this dish but it was still A-OK. I'd return to Tucci's and if I'm back in town I plan to. The scallops, short ribs and filet all sound promising and trying the wood fired pizza is also on my list. The bar area looked inviting and classy so I'll have to stop in for a neat Booker's next time.

Could not fiqure out if food was organic or local- all that was answered to me in reply was "the pineapples show that the cook went to hawaii to learn how to cook them" HUH? You had to go to Hawaii to grill chicken and grill pineapple. NOT IMPRESSED.

We were from out of town and had a recommendation to visit Tucci's. We went on Father's Day, had a party of 16 with a reservation for 10:00am and were literally the second table seated. We ordered our drinks and waited as they slowly came out (water already on the table would have been nice). We then placed our brunch orders and waited 1 HOUR for our food to come out. During that hour our drinks were never refilled (we really would have liked more than 1 cup of coffee) and NO ONE came to our table to explain the delay. We all understood it was a busy day but we thought someone would have taken notice of our extremely long wait.....nope. When we got our food the plates were so hot, like they were sitting under the heat lamp for an extended period of time. Our food was ok. The eggs on the eggs benedict were over-cooked. It was so disappointing!

I'm not a Dublin eater, so this place was a mystery to me. Went on a Friday night - which was busy and full, but not annoyingly crowded. Several people at the hostess stand to make sure things were smooth. Got a nice-sized pour on a good Pinot Noir at the bar. Our server did a great job of handling multiple dietary issues, and even had suggestions of what to eat based on others who had similar restrictions. The food was really good. Arugula salad was perfectly dressed and big enough for two. Mussels appetizer was yummy. Sauteed spinach was neither overcooked or overseasoned. Good fries, but could have been a little hotter. I didn't say anything, and I am certain that they would have been taken back and redone had I asked. Because of dietary issues, neither of us had anything that wasn't modified from the listed preparation, but it still all tasted great - not easily done. Water glasses were promptly refilled, and service was really attentive but not at all obtrusive. This is definitely a place I would visit again and recommend to folks in the Dublin area.

I was surprised that I had never been here before, but my husband and I finally went last night. I really enjoyed it, and so did my husband. Good wine, delicious food, and good service. We sat inside and it was very romantic. I had the chef make a special surf & turf with fillet and scallops. It was delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly as was the meat. My husband had the Ribeye which he really liked too. I am knocking off one star due to the fact that they seem to serve quite a bit of fish that is endangered or not sustainable. I know most people don't care, but my husband and I do. I really think that the chef should pay more attention to this too. However, we can choose things off of the menu we like and that are sustainable etc. So, we will be back for those items.

This place....was freaking delicious and a half. We waited for about 45 minutes because the outdoor seating area was packed when we arrived [typical for a gorgeous Saturday evening]. If we would have wanted to sit inside we would have been seated immediately. Their draft list is a little disappointing; but this place is about wine, and since I'm not a wine-o I guess that the fault is really with me. Just expect to get wine or a bottled beer if you don't like the 5 options they have [not saying they didn't have a fine selection.] The service was very good; the waitress was very knowledgeable and basically picked our entire meal for us [at my request.] We started with a peppery beef carpaccio that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. So flavorful. It was very enjoyable. I love carpaccio, and this was unique and delicious. For our meals; I had a braised beef dish that tasted straight out of autumn. A little disappointing considering it was July, but an absolutely phenomenal dish. The flavors were amazing, the depth and richness of the meal couldn't be beaten. It was amazing. My fiance had a pasta dish; with a red sauce. I can't quite remember what it was called, but it was also VERY good. It tasted so fresh and so artistically put together. You definitely need to try Tucci's if you're in the area and are wanting to spend a little more money for dinner [we did spend about $85 for the two meals and appetizer.] Well worth it for celebrations. The patio and fare made for a delightful evening. Oh-They also had live music, which was very nice.

Went here for my birthday last week. We were a little early, going more for the lunner option since I couldn't wait till dinner. We sat in a booth at the bar area and started perusing the menu. Our waiter informed us it was happy hour, on a Saturday, Whaaaaa!!?!?! $6 apps, $5 wine and cocktails. Winner! We got the hummus and the calamari fries. Both were delicious. I ordered a New York strip and he ordered a chicken pasta. He loved the pasta, I have to have that steak again. It was cooked a perfect medium rare, required no A1. Amazing! Will be back, likely for happy hour since I rarely drop $30 on a steak. But it was a good birthday dinner.

Great, healthy food, a huge patio with live music almost every night of the week, an ENORMOUS wine list, and the indoors are very quaint & romantic. If you're a super wine expert, you can rent a wine locker here (not something I'd do, but cool, nonetheless). The Steak Salad is awesome, and I haven't had anything here I haven't liked, even on the apps list. The only downside is, the service can be a little slow, especially at night when they've got the live music going on. Otherwise, it would be a 5-star for me. Definitely check it out. We frequent this place for lunch and dinner.

Recently named one of Columbus' Top 20 restaurants and bumping Trattoria La Tavola off the list, I went into Tucci's expecting good things. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or perhaps the restaurant isn't that great....regardless, Trattoria was better in terms of taste, quality, value, service, and especially noise level. The last part, honestly, is shocking considering my biggest complaint about Trattoria was the excessively loud bar. Arriving with an old college friend and her husband at 6:30, the space was relatively unoccupied and quiet. Bread was served promptly and was rich, heartly, crusty, and delicious. The mixture of balsamic and EVOO served along with the bread was equally delectable and quite complex. For appetizers they selected the calamari which I was told was quite good while I opted for the standout plate of the evening, the incredibly diverse and perfectly delivered octopus salad. The octopus was tender on the inside and crispy but perfect on the outside. For a mere $7 there was more octopus than you'd receive for double the price at a sushi joint and the flavor, texture, and accompaniments were better. The pinenuts fresh, the greens beautiful, and the chili oil spicey yet refined. One of the best salads I've had in some time. For our mains, two of us selected the Paella Style Risotto with lobster, rock shrimp, chorizo, mussels, mint pesto while the other chose the Spanish pizza. The pizza was spicy, but generally quite tasteless compared to the options ot Trattoria and Spagio....and not even within a breath of the options at Spago. The Risotto, while attractive and well flavored, seemed somewhat overpowered by the chorizo. I'm really not sure why the chef would select to place a spicy pork sausage in with such delicate seafood options, but IMO this is akin to the Simpsons episode where the chef offers to stuff the finest food with the second finest food.....lobster stuffed with tacos. The sauce was heavenly and the seafood well prepared, but in general I was underwhelmed. It was approximately 1/2 way through the main course that my friend noted "wow, this place got really loud all of a sudden." I'd thought the same earlier and opted not to mention it, but at this point it wasn't just noticable, it was obnoxious. While no specific person or table was loud, the entire place literally had a Buckeye Stadium-like "noise" similar to the moment before kickoff. While I'm certainly not a 'loud talker,' I felt like I was yelling at my dining buddies, something I don't like at all. While the meal was decently portioned for the prices, I felt the need to endulge and chose to get dessert. An Italian place without Tiramisu? Lame. While the Peanut Butter Cheesecake sounded interesting, I instead opted for the more complex Molten Chocolate Pudding Cake with Warm Cherry Compote and Hazelnut Gelato. While a solid choice and quite delicious, the cherry compote was vastly superior to the cake and the $8 pricetag seemed quite excessive for the small portion. The gelato was okay but certainly not on par with Jeni's, Worthington Inn, or Rosendales. I generally don't feel ripped off by dessert, but for the second time in a row a loud Italian restaurant in Dublin failed to deliver in the sweets category. The bill was modest, totalling $35 for appetizer, main, and dessert and service was okay (not good, not bad) but I just cannot get past the noise. While the food was good, it lacked the creativity of higher end places and the quality of local produce noted at Trattoria. While I would certainly return for bread and the Octopus salad, I cannot say I'll be rushing back or sending any of my friends to Tucci's anytime soon. If I were to return, it'd certainly be for the beautiful looking patio during the summer......but then again, I'd sooner sit and overlook the river with a better quality pasta at Trattoria. The wine list, from what I'm told, was quite adequate and well priced....which I guess could be responsible for the noise. If I could give 2.5 stars I would, but simply for the salad I'll round up.

Lovely meal. We came here for my brother's birthday in a group of 8 adults and 1 baby. The service was excellent and they were very understanding when our baby daughter grabbed the empty wine glass the server set in front of her and sent it sailing across the room (embarrassing yes, but I ask you: Who sets a wine glass for a baby?). The food was wonderful and they did a great job of handling my food allergies so that I could have a nice, relaxing meal without worrying about what I was going to eat. All in all, we had a great dinner and will totally be going back.

First time... We met dear friends for dinner last evening at Tucci's. It was our first visit and frankly I had very high expectations going in, because it is owned by the same group that owns Matt the Miller's in Grandview of which I am a big fan. I'm going to divide this into three categories for the review, something new for me: - Atmosphere - Food - Service Atmosphere Visually the atmosphere was very nice. Since it was the first time we had gone I looked it up on Yelp and attire was referred to as "dressy" but I found it much more on the side of casual. The single biggest issue regarding the atmosphere is the only real complaint I have about Matt the Miller's which is how loud the place is. The ambient noise level is really excessive. It is important to point out that we ate inside and not on the patio. Food The house salad wad very good and the deconstructed Caesar was great. Since it was restaurant week they had a special menu available featuring Sesame Walleye which is also a menu standard. Three people had it at the table and all thought it was absolutely wonderful. The fourth person had the Ahi Tuna which was reported to be overly salty. The creme brulee was very good. Service This was definitely the weak point of the night, and who knows we may have had someone new. That being said there were issues which I found unusual because the wait staff at Matt's in Grandview is so very well trained. First we really didn't see our server as much as we'd like, but it was busy. However there are a few things that were not well handled. Our server took drink orders from four of us one at a time which is the natural order of things except he took one order and then filled it before he took the next: that may be a first. The second issue was that he cleared the wine glasses before asking if were were interested in any wine. He was cordial enough and did come back to the table to see if everything was alright with our entree's but it seems more like the result of a timer going off than of genuine interest. In Summary We will definitely go back and try Tucci's again. It will be worth it to see how it goes the second time and it may have been just a crazy busy night. The food was good, the service was weak but overall we had a good time. As a foot note, I do hope the ownership group starts to consider some sort of acoustic treatment for their establishments.

Our dining experience was amazing. Let's start there. My husband and stepdaughter and I had planned a trip to Schmidt's for an early dinner. And I will sheepishly admit that we were dressed appropriately. However, because there as an hour wait, we opted for something a little closer to home. We tried the usual casual places, all of which were a long wait. Finally, I remembered Tucci's. Now, in my defense, I hadn't dined there in quite some time. But I remembered that the pizzas were good and that they had an extensive wine selection. So, we wandered in. Despite our "buffet-casual" attire and no reservation, we were promptly seated. Not once were we treated as being "out of place", and we were very pleased with the service. Our server explained the wine serving options very carefully, and steered me to a wine that I was considering (but wouldn't have tried without a nudge). I can honestly say that it was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. It's clear that their servers have a passion for their job, and that the restaurant takes the time to train them well. We started with the hummus small plate. My husband muttered under his breath, "let's see if they're serious ... I'll taste that before I consider blowing a c-note on dinner here." Well, needless to say, we ate our words. From a place that professes to be "Italian" (they did have some pasta on the menu), that was hands-down the best hummus I've ever had. The chili oil and the fresh cucumbers were a great addition, and the chickpeas were blended perfectly smooth. I ordered the filet (as it was served with a potato and parsnip side dish, and I love parsnips), my husband had the king salmon (served with an amazing cous cous side dish), and my stepdaughter enjoyed the goat cheese and fig pizza. Our bill, after all items ordered, was close to $100. I thought nothing of paying it, as it was the best meal we've had in recent memory. We'll definitely be back ... we discussed on the way home that we'd like to make a night out of ordering several small plates and dining on the patio there this summer. My only complaint about Tucci's is that it got quite loud in the main dining room, in a hurry. If you're looking for a very romantic and secluded meal ... this isn't it. But if you're looking for great food, great wine, and fabulous service? Give it a try.

My husband and I ventured to Tucci's on one child-free, winter night to hang out with friends from his work. At first glance, the restaurant seems small, or maybe it seemed that way since it was completely packed with people....on a weeknight. I quickly took a mental note of the large outdoor patio that looks like it would make for a nice outing for a Summer night. Overall the atmosphere is great - dark and relaxing - and romantic if the occasion commands. However, for someone like me who hardly gets away from the demands of a child going through the terrible twos - this is what I would call a "grownup night on the town." Especially after seeing the martini menu. I'm not much for fruity or strong drinks - much more of a beer girl... And then I was introduced to the "Flirtini" - a pink little glass of girlie heaven...after about five of these reasonable priced martinis...I was feeling pretty good and ready for dinner. Not being extremely hungry, I had ordered the Beef Carpaccio and small salad - all which were beautifully presented and very delicious. To end the night - of course I had to try the ultimate chocolate martini - which was awesome! Side Note: We dined with about 14 people from my husband's work, so I would recommend this establishment for small office dinners. *One of our friends is a highly reputable culinary expert and was very impressed with the wine list. *Parking was an issue - not sure if that is a regular issue or just because of another event that night. *The bar can get somewhat loud if dining later in the evening.

Great dining experience this Monday. Attentive waitress, amazing wine list (we splurged on the prisoner zinfandel from the enoline wine dispenser), food cooked perfectly. I had the salmon which was delicious with amazing textures in the sides and my boyfriend had the shrimp pasta which we both loved. Entrees are $15 to $30 with drinks and salad about $40 a person.

My boyfriend and I went to Tucci's for the first time for our Valentine's day dinner. They had a special Valentine's day menu with a choice of several different courses ...our dinners were around $50 per person. The atmosphere was very romantic and the service was great. We both got filets and they were cooked perfectly. I only gave four stars because I felt it was slightly over priced. We will definitely be back for more special occasion meals.

Tucci's is one of my favorite restaurants!! I love that they have a seasonal menu and fresh fish. The last time I went there I sat in the bar and didn't get the best service, so I moved to a table. At the table I was greeted promptly and had a wonderful dining experience. Recently we tried the wild mushroom and brie pizza and it was awesome. One down fall that I would say about their menu is that a lot of dishes have some sort of pork in it. For those who don't eat pork, it really limits the menu. In the summer the patio is amazing and one of the best spots to be around town!

Tucci's is a the type of restaurant that is far more about atmosphere and style than actual substance. So if you want to have a classy dinner in a well-to-do Columbus suburb, this is the place for you. If you actually know a thing about Italian food and Italian food that is done WELL, well then, Tucci's is not the place. I think many entrepreneurs just loosely throw on the "Italian cuisine" moniker as a marketing device. Why do I say this? Well, for one, this is one of several "Italian" restaurants I've been to that serves tapas. "Tapas?" you say, "I thought those are a popular part of Spanish restaurants! I didn't know that Italian cuisine utilized this style of eating as well." Well, dear friend, this is because TAPAS ARE NOT ITALIAN. You should not be going into an Italian restaurant and be handed a menu that mainly consists of a list of hot and cold small plates. Restaurants do this because it is trendy and it makes people feel refined and cultured, despite the nagging issue of cultural accuracy. Italian food should be served in large portions and shared. When I order a lamb chop for my main dish, I don't want one tiny little chop. Even with my appetite, I should be full after eating at an Italian joint. I hardly remember what dishes were ordered at this meal, mostly because for the price tag the were extremely lackluster. The only other detail I haven't blocked out my memory is the risotto that came along with one of the dishes. It was terrible. I'm not as much of a food snob as I must sound in this entry, but when you are paying a decent amount for some food it should be cooked properly. I'm not saying it had to be exceptional, but risotto is meant to be soft, creamy and hearty. This risotto was undercooked and offensively crunchy. If Tucci's spent more time on making its food taste sweet instead of creating an atmosphere to attract misinformed suburbanites, it would actually deserve a decent rating.

Had dinner with a colleague here while on a business trip. We shared apps of edemame and mussels. Both were excellent. The sourdough bread disappeared quickly as we both dipped it into the mussel broth... My entree was the short ribs on a bed of whipped sweet potatoes with a jus/coffee reduction. I wasn't in love with the sweet potatoes. But, the meat was tender and delicious with the sauce. My partner had some shrimp/pasta dish which she didn't fall in love with. The service was great. The atmosphere was nice. This is a good place for a date.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted with two glasses of champagne which was a very nice touch. My husband ordered the oysters and I got the house salad for appetizers; both were delicious. Based on our waitress' recommendations my husband ordered the Sea Bass and I ordered the short ribs; both dishes were amazing. After hearing that I would be going to Tucci's for a friends birthday I did what I always do when I find out I am going somewhere I have never been before. Of course I Yelped it. After reading a few reviews I had an idea in mind of what to expect. I am glad I did so I could be better prepared for my evening. Alot of reviews mention how it was a small and crowded it was. We had a party of 11 and there was plenty of room for our large group. We did have reservations we I would say is a must for a weekend because I did see alot of people waiting at the bar for tables. I am not a wine person and this place is defiantly a wine place, that being said they had Scrimshaw on tap and after getting hooked on the stuff a Columbus Beer fest and not being able to find it anywhere in Columbus I was impressed. As for the food I went with the Beef Short rib after doing some research and it was fabulous. It was on a bed of mashed sweet potatoes with some crispy potato straws on top. The beef itself was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. The topper though was the bacon in the mashed sweet potatoes. Way to step up your game there. The other start of the night was Outrigger Canoe Combo appetizer. Another person in our party got that and it looked great, however I don't know how you could have room for anything else after eating that. So to wrap things up I had a great experience here. My food was great, our server did a great job, and I would defiantly come back. Maybe next time when the weather is nicer and I can take advantage of that pretty nice patio they have.

Very nice restaurant in Dublin,OH. It was a beautiful day, there was live jazz on the patio and the food was fantastic. I would not really categorize Tucci's as an Italian restaurant, just a restaurant that serves 'some' Italian food. I had a fantastic fish dish, from that well known Mediterranean fish the 'Walleye'. It was really very good and I would return the next time I am in town.

A reliable favorite. Every establishment understandably may throw me a so-so dish or two, but that surely hasn't occurred at Tucci's. My all-time favorite is their wood-fired roasted chicken, which is, quite simply, the best chicken meal I've had anywhere. Not just a convergence of planets, either, as it held-up to repeated dining experiences there. Unfortunately they regard it as merely a seasonal dish as there have been months pass when it doesn't appear on the menu. Possibly the oven-wood goes out of season, the chicken certainly doesn't.

This is going to be a short review (for me), because I was taught not to say anything if I didn't have anything good to say well...I don't. So, my wife and I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now, and we finally had the opportunity to do so. We walk inside, which was, on a positive note, quite modern and well decorated. It took nearly three minutes for us to be recognized by either of the two hostesses and we were standing right in front of them. We did the usual, how many people. I replied "two" the hostesses replied "okay, what's your last name?" and was done with her sentence. So my wife asked "how long?" and the response was "there are three groups of people ahead of you." Now I ask you, dose that really answer the question? I don't think so. after further prying we got the response " 10 to 15 mint es, but keep checking back in." They took our name, did not take a number or give us a pager, but I am supposed to keep checking back in. Okay, you can see this is not promising at all. After standing right in front of the hostess station for about 15 or 20 minutes I checked back in, and the hostess forgot who I was, but thankfully a table was opening up for us. We were seated. Let's talk about crowded. one side of the table is a long bench with multiple groups sitting next to one another and the other side are normal chairs relatively close together. Whatever, we can deal with that, it's not my idea of romantic, but it is like being one close family. I hope you like the people sitting next to you. I waiter came over and simply said " do you want anything?" or at least that is all my wife and I both heard, I may be wrong because the place is loud and hard to have a conversation. So, anyway, we both asked for some waters. a few minutes later we were presented with our waters - fine. While we were deciding on our meals I was sipping on my water when my wife noticed that my water had a dead fly floating at the bottom- gross. Now, I totally understand that these things happen and easily fixed, so I am not bashing them completely, but I was just not impressed with things up to this point and nor was a pleased with the initial response from our waiter when we confronted him about it. He simply asked "do you want a new glass of water?" Okay, I am not a rocket scientist, but I think that is a bit too easy to figure out. So, he gave me a new glass. We then ordered our meals I ordered a pizza with pineapple (hold the pork) and an arugula salad. My wife ordered a seasonal pizza ( we are both still wondering what is seasonal about mushrooms, onions, and olives) and a Caesar salad, and a bottle of wine for us to share. The waiter returned to the table with our bread , which was the one true positive because it was very tasty and warm. At that time our waited informed us that because of the whole water thing that they would give us a free desert. That was more of the response we thought we would have gotten initially, but maybe because they were a little busy he was a bit distracted, a nice regroup non the less. I salad came out fairly promptly and, by no fault of the restaurant, I shouldn't have gotten the arugula salad it was too bitter, but the dressing and the candied walnuts were a nice counter. My wife seemingly enjoyed hers, the only problem was they were taken away a bit too soon, as in when our pizzas came. As for the pizza's neither were all that good, I liked the crust because it was fresh like the bread, but it was limp and non crusty, there was no sauce and the pineapples, were fresh, but way too sweet. So, far nothing impressed me about this experience. Next my wife decided to get dessert, so we ordered the pineapple upside down cake with a side of vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream. Eureka!! the one item that made me smile. Here is the last part of the story which was a happier ending then you would expect from reading the above. When our waiter came out with our dessert he announced that instead of paying for our dessert they were going to pay for our bottle of wine, which by the way was not cheap. (I guess they knew I would be yelping about this one, huh?) So here it is, the bottom line: The good: Nice atmosphere The server and not our waiter was pleasant to us every time he came to the table (i.e. when I said "thank you" he replied "it's my pleasure." and I believed him too. They comped our wine Pineapple upside down cake The bad: Hostess who do not promptly greet you or remember who you are Waiter who does not seemingly care if you are eating here or somewhere else (I will call him icey-hot as that was the feeling we both got from him) A pricey meal for just okay food quality without the wine our meal was just about 50 dollars (I call that price for pizza, salad, wine, and dessert) Claustrophobic seating And a pretty limited menu, I really was not impressed with my options So, I guess I am not going back unless someone else pays

Everything about Tucci's is of the highest level of quality, but I'll be damned if the clientele here isn't one of the more obnoxious collections of pseudo-upscale suburbanites that I've ever encountered in my lifetime. Given the "downtown" Dublin location, it makes plenty of sense. In my opinion, this area is the epicenter of boisterous, credit card wielding midwesterners that feel like they're entitled to roll up to this place in their certified pre-owned Cadillac, tip the valet with pocket change, and loiter for hours on end while talking at decibel levels that would put the crowd at an OSU football game to shame. If you've lived in Columbus long enough, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Michael U certainly does, at least. If this is what life as an OSU alum-turned-townie has in store for me, then I need to get the hell away from this town as fast as possible. These middle management mavericks and their Boxster-driving trophy wives are giving this town a bad rap. Now that I have that rant out of the way, on to the reasons why Tucci's still gets four stars in spite of all that. Simply put, the food here is incredible. What I love about the menu is that it presents more of an Italian spin on traditional fare from other parts of the world as opposed to a bucket list of pastas and other staple Italian dishes that you'd find just as easily at The Olive Garden. My first meal here started off with an appetizer of blackened scallops, something I'd never dared to try before at any other restaurants. The strawberry vinaigrette that lightly glazed the scallops proved to be a huge payoff for this somewhat pricey ($10) warm-up to the main event. The garlic shrimp spaghetti I chose for my entree was both light and hearty at the same time, with a mix of peanuts and scallions in a citrus sauce perfectly topping a generous helping of fresh pasta and shrimp. At $18, I was confident that it was worth every penny I spent on it. So all in all, the food and dining atmosphere far outweighs the white-flight buffoonery that Tucci's unfortunately plays host to on weekend nights.

fantastic italian cuisine. note: by "italian" i don't mean just various pastas and your typical chicken saute' dishes--this is a pretty eclectic mix of FANTASTIC seafood, steaks, chops, and pastas. wine selection is substantial but the mark-up isn't. the mussels appetizer is an absolute MUST. can get noisy and crowded at times, but to me this has always been the sign of a great restaurant. in terms of legitimacy, let me put it this way: my italian professor (who is an italian immigrant) says Tuccis is her favorite italian place in columbus. they have a happy hour special at their bar for half price appetizer too, i believe.

Went just for drinks with friends. The prices were typical but the taste was exceptional! I had the red sangria and a cranberry martini. Both were delicious!! Our waiter was very pleasant. The patio and live music was a nice touch. It wasn't overbearing or distracting, but offered a nice backdrop to the lovely set up. Can't wait to go back and try their food!!

Eggs Benedict Review (ate here for brunch): Scale 1-10 with 10 being best 10 - Eggs poached soft (cooked perfectly) - served with 3 eggs; 10 - Hollandaise Sauce - excellent, but needed 1 extra lemon juice wedge (my personal preference), also seemed more like it was made with heavy cream instead of just eggs, butter lemon and salt - super delicious though; 9 - Thin sliced Canadian Bacon; 10 - English Muffin - not bad not great...probably off the shelf; 10 - Service; 10 - for the excellent fresh berries too! Plenty of parking in back. No wait. Best Eggs Benedict in Dublin, OH and probably Columbus OH.

We first went to Tucci's for Restaurant Week last January. This is an account of that visit. We had passed this place several times and it's been somewhere I've wanted to try. They are known for steaks and seafood. Parking is a little tight in downtown Dublin, but we found plenty of spaces in the far back lot. My first impression going in was this place was rather fancy and very professional. The tables were a little cramped together, but some may describe this as cozy. We were seated in the front area, so I'm not sure what the rest of the restaurant is like. It was a Friday night and the place was bustling. The waitress brought us a bread bowl with olive oil/herb/balsamic vinegar dipping sauce. The bread was thick cut and surprisingly spongy. We loved it, but I wish the waitress had not brought out a second bowl. I got the clam chowder, filet with yukon gold mashed potatoes, and the french silk pie. My husband got the steamed mussels, the same filet, and the creme brulee. Our appetizers were outstanding. My clam chowder was slightly spicy and chocked full of clams and potatoes. His mussels were tender and the broth was super flavorful--good for dipping the bread into. The highlight of our meal was the filet and mashed potatoes. My husband said it was the best steak he'd had in a while. We both really appreciated the usage of yukon gold potatoes in the mashed potatoes. So much more buttery tasting than regular potatoes. Because of the bread we'd eaten earlier and the soup/mussels we had a hard time finishing our main courses. I might have left a bite or two of potato. Luckily our desserts were small. The creme brulee was pretty standard. My chocolate silk pie was creamy and delicious. We've been back to Tucci's twice since then--once for brunch and once for dinner. At brunch, I had the croissant sandwich with fruit and hashbrowns. I remember it was delicious. The time we had dinner, I had a fish dish with a shrimp ceviche salad and jasmine rice. I was very impressed by the dish. The sauce really went well with the fish and I loved the ceviche.

I went to Tucci's on 2 different occasions, one for a happy hour and one for brunch, so I'll give 2 separate mini reviews. Happy hour: 3 stars. The bar is very nice and the bartender was attentive, but the prices were expensive for a happy hour, and I wasn't overly impressed with the hummus and pita we ordered. We asked the bartender for more pita, and she charged us an extra $1 for that... kind of disappointing. Brunch: 5 stars. I came with a fairly large group of 12 for a friend's birthday, and I was very impressed with the server's ability to keep up with our drink/food orders. We even had members of our party leaving early and arriving late, and she still did her best to make sure everyone got their food on time. The food was absolutely delicious, and I wanted to try one of everything! Several others ordered the various types of eggs benedict (they have 3 different twists on them!) and they looked AMAZING. I tried the French toast and the ham and asparagus omelet, and both were huge portions. They could both easily be shared between 2 people. Overall: 4 stars. I like the ambiance of Tucci's, it gives off a very classy vibe, but it can be a little intimidating if you've never been. For a bunch of 20-something's walking through the door for the first time, some were concerned that brunch was going to break the bank. In reality, that was not the case, and I would reccomend Tucci's to anyone looking for a place to eat in Old Dublin. I will definitely be back!

I wandered in on a weekday afternoon, and felt a little out of place. I was on my way to work, by myself; this is more of an upscale, social place. It'd be a great date spot or business lunch place. Pretty much an ideal wine bar. The decor is warm and dark, and it's fairly small. Service was good, with a small flaw I'll get to. The food was excellent. They bring out some bread and dipping oil; good, not great. The bread was way too doughy; I think it needed a bit longer in the oven. I started with lobster bisque, which was excellent. Creamy, rich with flavor, and lots of shredded lobster on top. There were a lot of interesting things on the menu; I went with the Gorgonzola burger, since I didn't have to worry about my breath. Cheese, pickled onions, a great bun, fresh veggies, a perfectly-cooked burger, large and full of flavor. Sided with good fries, and a great salad- I picked the arugula, with candied walnuts, figs, great greens, etc. After I got my soup (very quickly) I waited half an hour for the burger. Seriously. I mean, I got it well done (steak rare to medium, thanks, but ground meat- cook it,) but it does not take that long to make a burger. I think it was a fluke. The waiter apologized a couple of times. I made it to work on time, and it all worked out. But I wish they'd said what was going on, and maybe brought the salad while I waited. Anyway- it's a great place. Excellent food. Good service. A bit pricey, but really not bad for what you get.

We were a group of four and we had a very nice dinner on the patio. We all ordered different items and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the Sesame Walleye which was perfectly prepared and the sesame seed crust and the sauce added a lot of flavor to the fish. The Silk Pie was a delicious dessert. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

Excellent homemade pasta. Can't beat the 9$ lunch special. Fig salad and angel hair with chicken was a perfectly portioned and creative lunch. I'd pay more for much less at many chain restaurants. Theirs a free parking lot behind the restaurant. This place is a gem in downtown Dublin.

Tried this place for restaurant week and I will definitely be coming back again! It was on the $30 prix fixe menu and given that I often don't get an appetizer or dessert for myself I decided to indulge a little bit. The restaurant had an awesome patio, and there was a live band playing some sweet jazz tunes so we decided to sit out there. The waiter was prompt and having never been there before he explained how everything on the menu was house made from the salad dressing to the breads to the chocolate mousse desserts. For dinner I had the clam chowder to start which was awesome. Had a nick kick of lemon to it as well which I've never had in my chowders before. For my entree I had the veal meatloaf which was just WOW. Super tender meatloaf with a nice sweet candied maple crispy exterior. It was a generous portion served over a mushroom gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans. I loved every bite of this dish. For dessert the waiter recommended the white chocolate mousse with fresh berries which was made in house. It was definitely amazing and not too sweet. It was also a huge portion, easily enough for 2-3 people. Tucci is a great restaurant in the heart of downtown Dublin and I will definitely be back again!

This is a great lunch spot if you work nearby. The combos are really delicious and service is quick so you don't end up spending over an hour for lunch. My faves include the grilled cheese, beet/egg salad, and meat sauce pasta (pasta is homemade!). During summer, the patio is a great option. Also, access to the nearby HUGE parking lot is very helpful.

Best salmon entree we have had in along time. Cooked perfectly, light and flavorful the dish will stay in my mind for some time to come. Would love to ask the chef how to attempt this at home. Pasta selections were limited which is why this only got 3 stars. Surprising since it's an Italian venue. There is an old standby with angle hair they can make that's not listed.

Came here for a business dinner and was impressed especially with the service. Our group of 4 had a reservation and were well greeted. The place was super busy and am we had a reserved in advance. The atmosphere was nice although it did seem a little too noisy and overcrowded. On the food and drinks side, they have an extensive wine menu and great seafood options. We started with fried calamari which was absolutely top class. For the entree, I had the snapper which was good but not the best I had (I may be a little biased because I live in Florida which has some of the best seafood). Ended it with the creme brûlée which was pretty good as well. Overall, a good experience and I will be back.

This place is just ok. Not worth the price in my opinion. Walleye was good though, I'll admit that. Mussels pretty good too but most other dishes were just ok and the tucci berry cocktail was just sour.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Consistently great food and service. The last time I went I had the sesame crusted walleye and it was the best walleye I have ever had! My friend, who has celiac's had the gluten free shrimp pasta. It was delicious and the manager on duty was very helpful when pointing out the gf options for her. We will be back the next time we are in Dublin!

I had lunch last week at Tucci's for a friend's birthday and Emily was our server. The service, as usual, was outstanding, the food excellent, and the ambience was bliss (outside on a summer day). I love Tucci's because they are consistently spot on in everything they do. Great place I highly recommend.

Gluten Free Friendly. I spoke to our waitress and she was very good with making sure my order was right and gluten free. I ended up picking and item on the menu and they made it gluten free for me. LOVED IT. Wow it was awesome. Not many places have the gluten free pasta, So i was very happy after this meal.For sure will be back.

Went there for date night, no reservation but had a table at 7pm on a Friday night. Drink service was a bit slow but they made up for that with some aggressive pours. Food was wonderful. The two highlights were the clam chowder which was unlike any I have had before. Had a bit of heat to it which really set it apart. The walleye mean was fantastic! Fish was cooked to perfection and the ginger butter sauce was amazing. Could have made a meal just out of the shrimp ceviche that was on the plate. All in all, nice place for a date. Looking forward to warmer weather and checking out the patio. Parking gets cramped in downtown Dublin. There is a valet for $2 but you will have to be patient with slow service.

Today was my first time at Tucci's, despite working nearby for several years. I definitely regret not trying it sooner. For lunch I had the BLT (minus aioli) and was impressed with the quality of the ingredients. You can tell the bread was fresh and the bacon cooked perfectly. The BLT comes with a side salad which was also good. I will definitely visit Tucci's for lunch again, and want to try it for dinner soon as well.

We have been to Tucci's tons of times for dinner or just drinks but never for their brunch. We went Easter Day and had a great meal. Loved the lobster bisque and their spinach quiche. I would definitely go back for brunch again.

Ordered my 6oz filet medium rare. It was well done and difficult to cut with the steak knife. The server never asked if my steak my cooked to taste. For a $26 a la carte steak, I would expect better. Adding $8 for asparagus was bitter sweet. Only the uncut ends were "crisp." But the ambience was nice and the wine list good. Save your money.

First off let me say how truly amazing the food is! I got a strip steak and it was one of the best I have ever had. I'm very picky about service sometimes but Jane did an amazing job! I will be back for sure. If you haven't tried this before I would stop what you're doing and make a Reservation. The whole experience was great from the atmosphere to the food. Well done.

Definitely my favorite restaurant in Columbus.Food is always really good eg short ribs. Upbeat vibe always busy but able to get in even on short notice. Waiters/ waitress are friendly and knowledgable looking forward to the outside patio again!

I had a good experience here even though there were not any vegan entree options (there was, however, one vegetarian entree option: Veggie Risotto). To my delight, Tucci's had a couple options that were easy to alter in order to meet my needs. I got the house salad (removed the cheese, added some veggies) and a side of fries. The waitress, not catching on to my dietary preferences, asked if I wanted chicken or some scallops on my salad, which prompted me to order their roasted bellas-- darn good choice! The salad was okay...it was small...maybe a little larger than a side-sized salad...and a little boring despite my adjustments. My dinner mates order the baked rigatoni and the sesame-walleye meal. Both seemed really pleased with their meals. A couple of us ordered their Riesling, which was fantastic! We finished the meal off with the pineapple and mango sorbet, which was also delicious. We were stuck in a booth near the entrance, which was awful because it was freezing outside and people congregated near our table a little too often for my taste. And, like I said, not a lot to choose from if you prefer to avoid meat or animal juices. Good place to go otherwise. Oh- and there is parking in the back of the restaurant... it's hard to find at night but it does exist.

Let me start off saying that my waiter Patrick was awesome and the lobster bisque was really, really good. Other than that, what an unfortunate disappointment. I ordered the filet medium well. I got it, cut into it, it was tough and I was surprised so I turned my cell phone light on it to check how done it was and it was well done, no pink at all. Patrick took it back and had them remake it. Through no fault of his, it took forever for the 2nd steak. The GM brought it out and asked me to cut in to it and it was just shy of bloody in the center. Still not close to medium well. And then, and this is where I got irritated, she told me that they cut into the first one and there was a small ribbon of pink in the middle. Well. I'm here to tell you that there was no pink at all. She offered to cool the 2nd steak longer and I told her no thank you, I was finished with the evening. They comped the bisque and edamame that I had and only charged me with for the glass of wine. I could tell Patrick felt really bad but it was not his fault. I've never had a manager tell me before that I was basically wrong. So, now I'm still hungry and irritated. Doubt I'll go back when I'm back in town.

This is our go-to place for high quality meals and great ambiance. The wine selection is outstanding -- plus they serve bottles of wine at state minimum pricing on Sundays. The chefs are willing to work with you to customize your meal, which is always delicious.

Watch those wine list prices! The bartenders will not specify your pour and you could get a shocking bill like I did. There are too many better places to have a drink in Dublin where they dont try to confuse and rip off thier customers.That's all I'm saying. Loved all the quality ingredients and the friendly service! Scallops were to die for!!! Not over cooked and perfectly seared. Canoe combo jumped all over the place with flavors and seemed like a lot of thought was put into providing savory snacks to go along with one's vino or martini choice...not filling...pricey...but yum! Ahi Tuna was recommended and cooked perfectly and had the right amount of sweet versus salty. However, very pricey for the amount of tuna. Still would *so* come back if in town again.

Went here while staying in Dublin for the night. Good food and nice staff, that's for sure. I sat at the bar, since I was on my own. Seats were available inside with some wait for patio seating. The humus plate was delicious. Good portion, a little over priced, but still good. I ordered sangria for a drink. Good!!! Good selection of wine and if you have questions, someone on staff is available to answer anything you have questions on. For dinner, I had spaghetti bolognese. The 3 types of meat in the sauce was good, and you could definitely taste the flavors involved. I got the half size portion and I still took some home with me. I've been back now for another happy hour and dinner. Their happy menu has changed and really isn't that special anymore and only lasts til 6. For dinner, their walleye was underwhelming and breaded, which is not described on the menu. Menu states it comes with plantains but they're really dried plantain chips/crisps. The ceviche was kind of a joke - minuscule shrimp and lacking flavor. Had some bites of their arugula salad and it was okay but overpriced at $8. I would have liked to have had their pasta but they don't offer gluten free which is kind of ridiculous.

I live in Chicago and was in Dublin for business and was so happy to find Tucci's. This place is delicious, great atmosphere and great service. The food is on par with excellent Chicago restaurants and the prices are totally reasonable for what you get. I had the Sesame Walleye which was the thickest piece of Walleye I've ever had. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The sauce underneath it delicious. Perfectly paired with the rice, picked onions, tomatoes and shrimp. So so good. My companion had the filet with a side of mushroom that were out of this world. Oh and the Clam Chowder? One of the best I've had. Very good wine selection. Overall a great experience.

We were in Columbus visiting relatives, and went to Tucci's for an early dinner simply because it was a beautiful day, we happened to be there, and they had ample outdoor seating. It was a good choice. There were eight of us, and they moved two tables together to accommodate us. It was a Sunday, and they offer wines at retail prices on Sundays, which saved us quite a bit of money. We really didn't know what we wanted, and our ordering was disorganized and slow, but our waiter, Patrick, was absolutely unflappable and brought us everything we wanted as we ordered it. Virtually everything we ordered was excellent. They have something called a Canoe Platter, which is a plate of appetizers: blackened scallops, coconut rice cakes, fried plantains and sirloin tips. The scallops here are so good we ordered them four times. When a ninth person joined us, Patrick, without saying a word, took a chair from an empty table and set it at ours. He is a fine waiter, present as soon as needed, invisible otherwise, as if possessing a sixth sense. Prices here are average for a fine restaurant, mostly in the $15 to $20 range, although the delicious house salad was only $6. I recommend Tucci's very much. During our visit to the Columbus area, we dined at several highly rated restaurants, and Tucci's was easily the best.

After seeing a post on Facebook showing their Farm to Plate menu, we had to try it. We showed up early before the crowds and we were seated outside quickly. My wife and I ate entirely off the that menu. The Duck Appetizer was great and not "gamey". The Caprese salad and Lake Erie Perch were delicious. If you go, save room for the Trio of Berry Sorbet. If you are looking for a patio with a nice relaxing atmosphere and great food, this place should be on your list.

Confession: I was not expecting to like Tucci's as much as I did. I'm not a huge fan of Matt the Miller's (with associated ownership), and I was a little wary of words like "California Bistro" out in the suburbs. To my pleasant surprise, the meal was fantastic! I had the mussels as an appetizer... I would take a bath in that broth. My walleye entree was delicious with a sticky rice and shrimp civiche... the perfect fusion dish. The only unbalanced element was the too-big plantain crisps on one end, but easy to work around. I imbibed with two adult beverages. The strawberry/basil/balsamic martini with Watershed vodka tasted fresh and garden-y, not syrupy sweet. The tessora limone pour for dessert was great. I love to see Columbus' local spirits being represented in restaurants around town. The dessert list didn't thrill me, but then again I'm not much of a dessert person. It seemed a little too pedestrian with oreo crusts and sundaes. As for the atmosphere, again I was surprised. You'll forget you are in Dublin. The patio was absolutely gorgeous at night with string lights, plenty of room, and inventive plantings. Inside, simple luxury everywhere with little details like glass tiling. I would highly recommend a reservation made a few days in advance if you plan to go on a weekend. When trying to make a reservation earlier in the day, only a 9:30 spot was available on a Saturday. I was surprised to see the joint bustling at 9:30-- we didn't feel rushed through our meal at all. The kitchen closes at 11. Service was a little slow and could have been more attentive. It took a long time to get more bread to sop up that incredible broth, and I don't feel like our waitress really paid much attention to drinks and timing. On the back of your menu, you'll find more information about events and such. The emerald room looks like a great space to book for a special occasion dinner (a semi-private room lined with wine bottles). And Sundays are retail wine night! Parking isn't bad with a common lot out around back. It's easier than parking in German Village or the Short North, without the crowds of Easton. But, you'll still get unique flavors in an upscale setting. EDIT: I forgot to mention the strangely grammatically incorrect dessert menu. Someone needs to teach Tucci's about possessive versus plural use of "s". Dessert's! Dessert's what? A singular dessert possessing... chocolaty goodness? There were several of these on the menu and it was glaringly amateurish in an otherwise upscale experience.

I was looking for an excuse to head to Dublin and decided to hit Tucci's for lunch. It was a beautiful day and so we sat outside on their huge patio. The waiter was quick, professional, and reasonably attentive. My lunchbuddy had the salad with chicken, which was reported to be very good and a nice sized portion. I am a sucker for freshwater fish and ordered the blackened walleye sandwich. The sandwich was nice. Big and somewhat sloppy, which is to be expected for that kind of fare. The seasoning on the walleye was restrained. Sometimes blackened means peppered and charred, but the fillet was lightly cooked, not decimated. For dessert, I tried their pineapple orange sorbet which was very nice, and helped quell the walleye breath. It looked like they had a nice happy hour and lots of music at night. I will be keeping it on the list to try that out.

Tucci's California Bistro occupies a fine little dining nook on High Street in Old Dublin. The location has always been one where as I'm driving by, sometimes on my way to the office, I catch a quick glimpse and think, "How cute". I was happy to have a biz-dinner there and find out if cute equates to deelish. Yes! It does. Right to the menu/entree. I played it safe (yes - Catherine J. YELP - thank you) by ordering the sesame walleye with jasmine rice and shrimp ceviche. The tastes were excellent and, bonus, the entire meal came out near steaming hot. I don't know about you, the reader, but there is something to be said about cooked food actually arriving at the table hot. Others ordered entrees Ahi Tuna (the presentation and Oos and Aah meant Mikey Likey), Shrimp and Torchio (which got high marks), Halibut (another hit) and finally Vegetarian Pasta. This last one was ordered by a nutrician-savvy gent who lives & dies by tennis. He went nuts over the taste! So all good. Prior to the entrees the group had salads and a serving of hummus and pita. The hummus was spicey and the plate had ample portions (served 3 comfortably). Some at the table enjoyed a house white wine which sufficed. "Yours truly" kept beverage service to one ice tea and some H2O. Hey! It was a school night. The atmosphere was a little tight for my liking. Tucci's meets most bistro standards which, for me, means a little bit of community and closeness. The outdoor patio looks like a great place for a romantic dinner.... or a nice lunch during a less-than-hot summer day. Probably early spring or early fall would be terrific. Parking. Arrgh! Dinner was at 8PM and parking in Old Dublin can be a little challenging. I found spots behind the Starbucks across the street so what's a little walk between friends before dinner. I'm heading back to Tucci's. No doubt for the Vegetarian Pasta. And perhaps a happy hour... the inside bar looked enchanting.

We were guests of Tucci's this evening, and I was so unimpressed. We were hosting the President & CEO of an international company and had made Tucci's aware of this ahead of time. The inattentiveness was astounding, regardless of who it was sitting at our 12-top table. Food was mediocre at best. Will not be returning.

Tucci's was a suggestion from a local. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Columbus is relatively barren for foodies. Had the wild mushroom ravioli in a spicy marsala sauce topped with sirloin tips. Sauce had that depth that comes with a great wine based sauce. I'd say skip the sirloin tips they were nicely spiced but far too grissily. Had the grilled scallops appetizer as well. Very nice carmelization but the scallops lacked the sweetness of something memorable. Lots of time scallops aren't truly scallops but ray or skate filed to look like scallop. Creme Brûlée for desert... Really good!!!

Tonight was my first visit here. I was expecting this place to be your typical fine dining with mediocre food and boy was I wrong. I had gotten the beef short ribs with whipped sweet potatoes and swiss chard & scallions. It was phenomenal the beef was tender & the kona reduction worked with the whole dish. My girlfriend got the chicken with angel hair and said it was phenomenal. We shared the pumpkin spice bread pudding for dessert. It was more like a cake, but was insanely good. Do not expect typical portions. Portions are how they should be ie meat is equal to your palm. We'll definitely be coming back.

Tucci's is gorgeous! The room with the wine bottles and round table -breathtaking! From the outside a charming cottage like the rest of Dublins historic downtown and a place like Tucci's fits right in. The service is first class, perfect for a date or anniversary dinner. Nice music playing, very quiet and romantic. They menu is a bit avant garde for my carnivorous husband and fried food loving son so we opted for drinks and desserts and I will have t be back for lunch where there are more options for the not so adventurous. It is a shame they are closed sundays and don't offer lunch on saturdays, so it will be hard to make it there unless you live you work in Dublin. We tried their homemade sorbet and todays option was wild berry which was delicious! Fresh, fruity, not too sweet and made me wish it was summertime! We had the SILK PIE oreo-hazelnut crust, milk chocolate custard, dark chocolate ganache, frangelico anglaise. It was jsut that, silky smooth, awesome crust and very very good vanilla cream completmenting the rich ganache. The best upscale oreo pie I have ever had. The caramel apple tartlettes were also good, I am a lover of all things overly sweet so in my case it could have been sweeter but it was also amazing nonetheless. It is a perfect dessert if you want something light and not overbearing, bursting with subtle flavor and attention to detail. Last but not least the pumpkin whoopie pies. Not being a fan of pumpkin and a little dissapointed the took the oatmeal ice cream sandwhich off the menu I still have them a whirl and they also did not dissapoint! Nothing artificial about this marshmellow cream, and my favorite part was the nut brittle on the side, I could eat the by the pound! Men, take your special someone here for a truely romantic night on the town!

Food was good, service was disappointing. My wife and I decided to try Tucci's for the first time on 9/19 for a late evening dinner. Host and hostess were very nice. Waiter was nice, but awfully slow and not attentive. After we were seated, it took about 10 minutes for him to come to our table. He gave as a menu and it took another 10 minutes for him to come back and take our drink orders. At this point I told him we wanted to order food as well. It took about another 8 minutes to get the drinks. He only checked in with us once at the very end. I would've ordered a 2nd beer if he wasn't so slow. We were done eating for about 15 minutes and he never came over to clear the table and drop off the bill. The front house manager saw that we were sitting idle for a long time and cleared the table for us. I wish I would've spent my $100 somewhere else. The waiter's service isn't reflective of the food. The food was very good. The service ruined the experience.

Last night was my first time at Tucci's. Unfortunately, it'll be my last. I went with a group of people and had a private room that was beautiful! We ordered a round of appetizers and a couple bottles of wine - everything was delicious. Our meals were delicious too! We were there for a couple of hours and really enjoyed our time. When the time came to leave and close out I wanted the check for my meal as well as my cousin's. The server took my card and the inevitable battle over the check started. It went back and forth and eventually my cousin won. Unfortunately, I will not be returning after the comment the server made "It'll probably decline anyway" when speaking of my debit card. This server made me feel inferior and low. Never in my life has someone made me feel this way. Whether this was a way of her being sarcastic or funny, it was hurtful and quite the opposite.

We finished our business meeting at Tucci's which one of our colleagues recommended. It sits in a small boutique district of Dublin and the restaurant is quaint and classy without being over the top. We came for a late lunch and were promptly sat. Our server was great...very attentive, polite and took good care of us! We began with a few apps...the Calamari fries, the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Edamame. The ravioli was delectable, served in a walnut cream sauce and garnished with arugula pesto and candied walnuts or pecans. Superb, truly. The calamari fries were served in a brown paper basket/bag and garnished with feta and brined pepperoncini, and served adjacent to a roasted tomato dip (which I didn't try) and a cucumber raita type sauce that was very good. The calamari was very tender but the breading was a little soggy. Still one of the better calamaris that I've had, so much so that I found myself snacking on them even cold. The Edamame was interesting...tossed with toasted sesame oil and sea salt. For lunch, I ordered the Mushroom Ravioli which came served in a spicy Marsala tomato sauce. In all honesty it sounded really good but I'm not in love with mushrooms so ordering something else may have been a better idea. Thankfully the ravioli was very good. The sauce, however, was a overwhelmingly acidic although fresh tasting with large chunks of mushroom and tomatoes. I think a splash of cream while cooking would've went a long way in this dish but it was still A-OK. I'd return to Tucci's and if I'm back in town I plan to. The scallops, short ribs and filet all sound promising and trying the wood fired pizza is also on my list. The bar area looked inviting and classy so I'll have to stop in for a neat Booker's next time.

PROS: Great patio. AWESOME band. Beautiful decor inside/bathroom CONS: Food. Was not impressed for the prices. Orderd a ceasar salad which lacked ALL presentation skill. All it was were 4 LARGE pieces of lettuce with dressing drizzled over it. Could not fiqure out if food was organic or local- all that was answered to me in reply was "the pineapples show that the cook went to hawaii to learn how to cook them" HUH? You had to go to Hawaii to grill chicken and grill pineapple. NOT IMPRESSED.

We were from out of town and had a recommendation to visit Tucci's. We went on Father's Day, had a party of 16 with a reservation for 10:00am and were literally the second table seated. We ordered our drinks and waited as they slowly came out (water already on the table would have been nice). We then placed our brunch orders and waited 1 HOUR for our food to come out. During that hour our drinks were never refilled (we really would have liked more than 1 cup of coffee) and NO ONE came to our table to explain the delay. We all understood it was a busy day but we thought someone would have taken notice of our extremely long wait.....nope. When we got our food the plates were so hot, like they were sitting under the heat lamp for an extended period of time. Our food was ok. The eggs on the eggs benedict were over-cooked. It was so disappointing!

I'm not a Dublin eater, so this place was a mystery to me. Went on a Friday night - which was busy and full, but not annoyingly crowded. Several people at the hostess stand to make sure things were smooth. Got a nice-sized pour on a good Pinot Noir at the bar. Our server did a great job of handling multiple dietary issues, and even had suggestions of what to eat based on others who had similar restrictions. The food was really good. Arugula salad was perfectly dressed and big enough for two. Mussels appetizer was yummy. Sauteed spinach was neither overcooked or overseasoned. Good fries, but could have been a little hotter. I didn't say anything, and I am certain that they would have been taken back and redone had I asked. Because of dietary issues, neither of us had anything that wasn't modified from the listed preparation, but it still all tasted great - not easily done. Water glasses were promptly refilled, and service was really attentive but not at all obtrusive. This is definitely a place I would visit again and recommend to folks in the Dublin area.

I was surprised that I had never been here before, but my husband and I finally went last night. I really enjoyed it, and so did my husband. Good wine, delicious food, and good service. We sat inside and it was very romantic. I had the chef make a special surf & turf with fillet and scallops. It was delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly as was the meat. My husband had the Ribeye which he really liked too. I am knocking off one star due to the fact that they seem to serve quite a bit of fish that is endangered or not sustainable. I know most people don't care, but my husband and I do. I really think that the chef should pay more attention to this too. However, we can choose things off of the menu we like and that are sustainable etc. So, we will be back for those items.

It's ok. I know lots of people love Tucci's, however I'm not a fan of tables so close to each other. Felt like I had to whisper everything. Also, two younger hipster guys beside us continued to try and talk to us throughout the evening...was ok at first but got old real quick. I did go back and sat on the patio, better experience, but still thought food was mediocre.

This place....was freaking delicious and a half. We waited for about 45 minutes because the outdoor seating area was packed when we arrived [typical for a gorgeous Saturday evening]. If we would have wanted to sit inside we would have been seated immediately. Their draft list is a little disappointing; but this place is about wine, and since I'm not a wine-o I guess that the fault is really with me. Just expect to get wine or a bottled beer if you don't like the 5 options they have [not saying they didn't have a fine selection.] The service was very good; the waitress was very knowledgeable and basically picked our entire meal for us [at my request.] We started with a peppery beef carpaccio that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. So flavorful. It was very enjoyable. I love carpaccio, and this was unique and delicious. For our meals; I had a braised beef dish that tasted straight out of autumn. A little disappointing considering it was July, but an absolutely phenomenal dish. The flavors were amazing, the depth and richness of the meal couldn't be beaten. It was amazing. My fiance had a pasta dish; with a red sauce. I can't quite remember what it was called, but it was also VERY good. It tasted so fresh and so artistically put together. You definitely need to try Tucci's if you're in the area and are wanting to spend a little more money for dinner [we did spend about $85 for the two meals and appetizer.] Well worth it for celebrations. The patio and fare made for a delightful evening. Oh-They also had live music, which was very nice.

Went here for my birthday last week. We were a little early, going more for the lunner option since I couldn't wait till dinner. We sat in a booth at the bar area and started perusing the menu. Our waiter informed us it was happy hour, on a Saturday, Whaaaaa!!?!?! $6 apps, $5 wine and cocktails. Winner! We got the hummus and the calamari fries. Both were delicious. I ordered a New York strip and he ordered a chicken pasta. He loved the pasta, I have to have that steak again. It was cooked a perfect medium rare, required no A1. Amazing! Will be back, likely for happy hour since I rarely drop $30 on a steak. But it was a good birthday dinner.

Fantastic food. We'd been looking for a restaurant with good food (especially a good steak!) and a great atmosphere since moving to Dublin. We found it at Tucci's. Atmosphere is great, the service was punctual and everything we've tried so far has been great. It's a little pricey, but worth every penny.

Great, healthy food, a huge patio with live music almost every night of the week, an ENORMOUS wine list, and the indoors are very quaint & romantic. If you're a super wine expert, you can rent a wine locker here (not something I'd do, but cool, nonetheless). The Steak Salad is awesome, and I haven't had anything here I haven't liked, even on the apps list. The only downside is, the service can be a little slow, especially at night when they've got the live music going on. Otherwise, it would be a 5-star for me. Definitely check it out. We frequent this place for lunch and dinner.

Recently named one of Columbus' Top 20 restaurants and bumping Trattoria La Tavola off the list, I went into Tucci's expecting good things. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or perhaps the restaurant isn't that great....regardless, Trattoria was better in terms of taste, quality, value, service, and especially noise level. The last part, honestly, is shocking considering my biggest complaint about Trattoria was the excessively loud bar. Arriving with an old college friend and her husband at 6:30, the space was relatively unoccupied and quiet. Bread was served promptly and was rich, heartly, crusty, and delicious. The mixture of balsamic and EVOO served along with the bread was equally delectable and quite complex. For appetizers they selected the calamari which I was told was quite good while I opted for the standout plate of the evening, the incredibly diverse and perfectly delivered octopus salad. The octopus was tender on the inside and crispy but perfect on the outside. For a mere $7 there was more octopus than you'd receive for double the price at a sushi joint and the flavor, texture, and accompaniments were better. The pinenuts fresh, the greens beautiful, and the chili oil spicey yet refined. One of the best salads I've had in some time. For our mains, two of us selected the Paella Style Risotto with lobster, rock shrimp, chorizo, mussels, mint pesto while the other chose the Spanish pizza. The pizza was spicy, but generally quite tasteless compared to the options ot Trattoria and Spagio....and not even within a breath of the options at Spago. The Risotto, while attractive and well flavored, seemed somewhat overpowered by the chorizo. I'm really not sure why the chef would select to place a spicy pork sausage in with such delicate seafood options, but IMO this is akin to the Simpsons episode where the chef offers to stuff the finest food with the second finest food.....lobster stuffed with tacos. The sauce was heavenly and the seafood well prepared, but in general I was underwhelmed. It was approximately 1/2 way through the main course that my friend noted "wow, this place got really loud all of a sudden." I'd thought the same earlier and opted not to mention it, but at this point it wasn't just noticable, it was obnoxious. While no specific person or table was loud, the entire place literally had a Buckeye Stadium-like "noise" similar to the moment before kickoff. While I'm certainly not a 'loud talker,' I felt like I was yelling at my dining buddies, something I don't like at all. While the meal was decently portioned for the prices, I felt the need to endulge and chose to get dessert. An Italian place without Tiramisu? Lame. While the Peanut Butter Cheesecake sounded interesting, I instead opted for the more complex Molten Chocolate Pudding Cake with Warm Cherry Compote and Hazelnut Gelato. While a solid choice and quite delicious, the cherry compote was vastly superior to the cake and the $8 pricetag seemed quite excessive for the small portion. The gelato was okay but certainly not on par with Jeni's, Worthington Inn, or Rosendales. I generally don't feel ripped off by dessert, but for the second time in a row a loud Italian restaurant in Dublin failed to deliver in the sweets category. The bill was modest, totalling $35 for appetizer, main, and dessert and service was okay (not good, not bad) but I just cannot get past the noise. While the food was good, it lacked the creativity of higher end places and the quality of local produce noted at Trattoria. While I would certainly return for bread and the Octopus salad, I cannot say I'll be rushing back or sending any of my friends to Tucci's anytime soon. If I were to return, it'd certainly be for the beautiful looking patio during the summer......but then again, I'd sooner sit and overlook the river with a better quality pasta at Trattoria. The wine list, from what I'm told, was quite adequate and well priced....which I guess could be responsible for the noise. If I could give 2.5 stars I would, but simply for the salad I'll round up.

Lovely meal. We came here for my brother's birthday in a group of 8 adults and 1 baby. The service was excellent and they were very understanding when our baby daughter grabbed the empty wine glass the server set in front of her and sent it sailing across the room (embarrassing yes, but I ask you: Who sets a wine glass for a baby?). The food was wonderful and they did a great job of handling my food allergies so that I could have a nice, relaxing meal without worrying about what I was going to eat. All in all, we had a great dinner and will totally be going back.

First time... We met dear friends for dinner last evening at Tucci's. It was our first visit and frankly I had very high expectations going in, because it is owned by the same group that owns Matt the Miller's in Grandview of which I am a big fan. I'm going to divide this into three categories for the review, something new for me: - Atmosphere - Food - Service Atmosphere Visually the atmosphere was very nice. Since it was the first time we had gone I looked it up on Yelp and attire was referred to as "dressy" but I found it much more on the side of casual. The single biggest issue regarding the atmosphere is the only real complaint I have about Matt the Miller's which is how loud the place is. The ambient noise level is really excessive. It is important to point out that we ate inside and not on the patio. Food The house salad wad very good and the deconstructed Caesar was great. Since it was restaurant week they had a special menu available featuring Sesame Walleye which is also a menu standard. Three people had it at the table and all thought it was absolutely wonderful. The fourth person had the Ahi Tuna which was reported to be overly salty. The creme brulee was very good. Service This was definitely the weak point of the night, and who knows we may have had someone new. That being said there were issues which I found unusual because the wait staff at Matt's in Grandview is so very well trained. First we really didn't see our server as much as we'd like, but it was busy. However there are a few things that were not well handled. Our server took drink orders from four of us one at a time which is the natural order of things except he took one order and then filled it before he took the next: that may be a first. The second issue was that he cleared the wine glasses before asking if were were interested in any wine. He was cordial enough and did come back to the table to see if everything was alright with our entree's but it seems more like the result of a timer going off than of genuine interest. In Summary We will definitely go back and try Tucci's again. It will be worth it to see how it goes the second time and it may have been just a crazy busy night. The food was good, the service was weak but overall we had a good time. As a foot note, I do hope the ownership group starts to consider some sort of acoustic treatment for their establishments.

Our dining experience was amazing. Let's start there. My husband and stepdaughter and I had planned a trip to Schmidt's for an early dinner. And I will sheepishly admit that we were dressed appropriately. However, because there as an hour wait, we opted for something a little closer to home. We tried the usual casual places, all of which were a long wait. Finally, I remembered Tucci's. Now, in my defense, I hadn't dined there in quite some time. But I remembered that the pizzas were good and that they had an extensive wine selection. So, we wandered in. Despite our "buffet-casual" attire and no reservation, we were promptly seated. Not once were we treated as being "out of place", and we were very pleased with the service. Our server explained the wine serving options very carefully, and steered me to a wine that I was considering (but wouldn't have tried without a nudge). I can honestly say that it was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. It's clear that their servers have a passion for their job, and that the restaurant takes the time to train them well. We started with the hummus small plate. My husband muttered under his breath, "let's see if they're serious ... I'll taste that before I consider blowing a c-note on dinner here." Well, needless to say, we ate our words. From a place that professes to be "Italian" (they did have some pasta on the menu), that was hands-down the best hummus I've ever had. The chili oil and the fresh cucumbers were a great addition, and the chickpeas were blended perfectly smooth. I ordered the filet (as it was served with a potato and parsnip side dish, and I love parsnips), my husband had the king salmon (served with an amazing cous cous side dish), and my stepdaughter enjoyed the goat cheese and fig pizza. Our bill, after all items ordered, was close to $100. I thought nothing of paying it, as it was the best meal we've had in recent memory. We'll definitely be back ... we discussed on the way home that we'd like to make a night out of ordering several small plates and dining on the patio there this summer. My only complaint about Tucci's is that it got quite loud in the main dining room, in a hurry. If you're looking for a very romantic and secluded meal ... this isn't it. But if you're looking for great food, great wine, and fabulous service? Give it a try.

This place has a great happy hour and atmosphere especially during the warm months. The patio is huge and makes a great place to hang out with friends. The food is a little pricey if you are not ordering off of the happy hour menu.

My husband and I ventured to Tucci's on one child-free, winter night to hang out with friends from his work. At first glance, the restaurant seems small, or maybe it seemed that way since it was completely packed with people....on a weeknight. I quickly took a mental note of the large outdoor patio that looks like it would make for a nice outing for a Summer night. Overall the atmosphere is great - dark and relaxing - and romantic if the occasion commands. However, for someone like me who hardly gets away from the demands of a child going through the terrible twos - this is what I would call a "grownup night on the town." Especially after seeing the martini menu. I'm not much for fruity or strong drinks - much more of a beer girl... And then I was introduced to the "Flirtini" - a pink little glass of girlie heaven...after about five of these reasonable priced martinis...I was feeling pretty good and ready for dinner. Not being extremely hungry, I had ordered the Beef Carpaccio and small salad - all which were beautifully presented and very delicious. To end the night - of course I had to try the ultimate chocolate martini - which was awesome! Side Note: We dined with about 14 people from my husband's work, so I would recommend this establishment for small office dinners. *One of our friends is a highly reputable culinary expert and was very impressed with the wine list. *Parking was an issue - not sure if that is a regular issue or just because of another event that night. *The bar can get somewhat loud if dining later in the evening.

Atmosphere was great on patio. Service started off okay then faded fast. I had asked for my pork chop to be cooked med. came out rare and cold. Also the potato that came with dish were cold and raw. Could not send back as our waiter was a no show Couple next too us were very upset had ordered a app and never showed up. So they got upset and left. Over all was disappointed as reviews were favorable. Not sure where the general manager was.

Great dining experience this Monday. Attentive waitress, amazing wine list (we splurged on the prisoner zinfandel from the enoline wine dispenser), food cooked perfectly. I had the salmon which was delicious with amazing textures in the sides and my boyfriend had the shrimp pasta which we both loved. Entrees are $15 to $30 with drinks and salad about $40 a person.
