We are going to chalk this one up as a bad day and note it for a retry soon; unfortunately, my first experience with Matt's Sunday brunch buffet was a disappointment. Normally I'd reserve reviewing a place if my initial trip for something fell on a bad day, but for the prices I think it needs a review. For the most part the Dublin version seems as quality as the Grandview confines which I am more familiar. Matt's is a place that seems to straddle artsy food with basic chain. The decor at this store is lovely: darkly lite, brass bar, faux wood. They were playing 1920/30s jazz; Buddy Holiday is always a winner for me. You could just imagine men in banded fedoras, and flappers donning golden caplets hanging under webs of cigarette smoke weaving up to slow ceiling fans. Pretty cool. The buffet was plentiful with lots of choices. Scrambled eggs, bacon, eggs benidict, waffles, ect; it even a Bloody Mary station for those of us who were bad Saturday night. I could tell the food was excellent quality after it all. The coffee, from Crimson Cup, was excellent. The problem? The food was cold.It was not kept warm and it slithered and bled in my mouth. I could tell there was some quality ingredients and good taste in the food--kind of like a good screenplay done by bad acting--but it couldn't rise to its potential in the below lukewarm temperature it was at. Pretty dissapointing. The serves was decent. I could tell there was an air in the place; everyone seemed off. The server thought I had already settled out when my card waited for them; another across the dining room spilled a drink. Did the employees all sleep with each other the night before? They seemed that awkward and off their game. I'm sure it was just a bad day. I'll be back and try again. The food did seem good, underneath the chill they settled at.

Got turned around while trying to find a park and as we were feeling peckish I said let's go to Matt's...finally! It's a nice heavy on the dark wood place with a very nice sized bar which looked so inviting but we opted for one of the booths. Our server was very nice and the food? Oh yeah! We had the mussels for an appetizer and that broth was just about perfect with a nice amount and size of mussels (only one didn't open). We both ordered their flatbreads with hubs getting the black and bleu one and I the half combo of a balsamic salad and the fig and proscuitto flatbread. I should've gone for the full flatbread because it came with enough arugula anyway that the extra salad was too much extra greens. It was all good anyway. My flat bread was so sweet and savory it was too good! Hubs' flatbread was $15 while my half combo was $14.99. I intend of returning and trying more of their flatbreads...and maybe even some other dishes.

Ive been here for Sunday Brunch a few times, but today was the best of the bunch. Joey broke it down what they offer- We got there around 120 and serve it till 2:30 and they were bringing in fresh dishes the entire time. My personal fave were he cheesy scalloped potatoes and the cinnamon roll- Huge gooey mess and oh so good! I wish i had known about the Yelp check in to get the $5 off discount- I will have to take advantage of that next time we come here.

We go to Matt's Sunday brunch most weekends. I love the Matt's salad which has dried apricots and candied nuts with a dijon mustard vinaigrette. I add sliced strawberries to it. I add them to my waffle too, so I get a lot of strawberries. When we first started going to brunch here, they had a small bowl of strawberries. They've upgraded this to a large bowl of strawberries and I like to think I had something to do with that. They don't put strawberries on the Matt's salad if you order it off the menu--I think they should. I also enjoy the eggs benedict--they are good about leaving the yolk of the poached egg runny. They put out two flatbreads and these are always good. Sometimes the giant cinnamon rolls are not completely done in the middle, but they are getting better about this. The rest of the food on the buffet is ok. My husband enjoys the omelet bar. The highlight is the coffee bar. It is an added cost, but I think it is worth it. They have at least 4 types of coffee and 3-4 creamer flavors to choose from. I enjoy he coffee best with the sweet foods--waffles, cinnamon rolls, and desserts.

Quite disappointing for an an "upscale'ish" lunch. The 3 piece Tavern Fish and Chips failed an many levels. Batter was slightly overcooked making it greasy. The fries came out of a plastic freezer bag and the coleslaw was from a food service bucket. Forgive one but now all 3. @ $15 it's over priced. Picture of the over cooked fish and few fries will be up loaded. The old bag is better usually for a fish fix. I will add that the hostess and the server were friendly and seemed attentive. It was not busy at the time I visited. My server also asked if there was she could do to make things great /better. The atmosphere seemed to be well done and felt like a nice Tavern.

I went to meet a friend and I really enjoyed the ambience. As a vegetarian these types of places do not have a lot of options, but as long as the few are good it is still enjoyable. So I ordered a portobello burger and I got to say it was delicious. The sweet potato fries that came with it were also really good. I would not say the portions were very filling, which was disappointing but that was the only complaint.

Place sits back a bit and we found it because of the construction, stopped in and had drinks and appetizers at the bar. We were happy with the food and service and stopped in again on a Saturday for a early lunch. We choose to be seated outside side, nice area just enough away from the traffic to be relaxing. Melissa was our server and very attentive us as well as the other tables she had around us. The food is good and reasonably priced. My husband choose a burger and fries as well as I choose to have a combo plate with the Matt salad and black and bleu flat bread.

In town for a kids camp. My tomato bisque was room temperature and the mac and cheese was milk and pasta and bland and cold. Wife's flatbread was soggy and thenMike's salad was brown. All-around dissatisying experience.

We are long-time fans of Matt the Miller's Sunday brunch. It features a buffet of your usual breakfast fare: eggs, bacon, hash browns, plus they always have cinnamon rolls, eggs benedict, an assortment of Matt's flatbreads and Matt's specialty salad. There's also an omelet station where the omelets are made to order and waffles that you can top with fresh whipped cream, syrup and fruit. The buffet features three entrees which vary. They usually feature a vegetarian option, such as some type of pasta, and a main course meat selection, such as baked ham. One time when we were there, the featured entrée was chicken and dumplings. They were so good, that we still speak of them with longing in our voices. It was just a one-time thing, but we cross our fingers for a repeat of this offering every time we go back. The brunch has a dessert table with chocolate mousse and an assortment of tarts and/or pies that vary. There is a tiny kid's buffet, which offered chicken nuggets, tater tots and apple sauce today. For an extra charge, there is a Bloody Mary bar. There is also a coffee bar. The reason for only three stars (which is a very low rating for me) is the service. We got the feeling that half of the staff called off today. They seemed seriously under-staffed. The guy manning the omelet station was doing the best he could, unfortunately, his best was sub-par. One of my favorite parts of Matt the Miller's brunch spread are the waffles. Today I was informed that I would need to order a waffle from my server if I wanted one. That would have been fine, if my server wasn't also tasked with manning the Bloody Mary bar. We only saw her three times: when we first sat down, when four plates were piled up at our table, waiting to be cleared, and when we were ready to leave. Suggestion - do like many college dining halls and mid-level hotels with continental breakfasts do, and let people make their own waffles if it's too time-consuming for the person manning the omelet station to also make the waffles. Also, remind the person manning the omelet station that many of the people he or she makes omelets for will pony up a nice tip to someone who is clearly getting slammed, but is also pleasant and really making an effort. It will be a while before we return for brunch. The good thing about our experience is that it's an indicator that the economy is really turning around in the Dublin area. It's an employee's market again. Good help is clearly hard to find. If you're a server at Matt the Miller's, it would be in your best interest to show up and work hard if you're scheduled to work Sunday brunch. There are plenty of people ready to show up to eat and tip generously for a good experience. Unfortunately, when just a few of you show up, the dining experience suffers and tips suffer too.

Food was awesome and fast! Staff was pleasant and attentive. We went around lunchtime and it wasn't too crowded. Layout of the restaurant is such that even if it was crowded I don't think we would've felt like it was. Pretzel bites HIGHLY recommended!! Per our server - life changing! ;) I also had the California chicken sandwich.. very good! Order a side of their mustard to go with the fries- delicious!! The carrot cake looked amazing but was too full to try it this time... We will be back!

First visit. New to the area. Short wait, text when table was ready. Service from Shannon was wonderful. Pretzel bites were great, portion big enough for 4. Will be back soon!

This place is a toss up for me. Very nice atmosphere, inside and out is gorgeous. I feel like the atmosphere doesn't match the food. The beer selection is just OK, I expected more selection from a tavern. The food is pricey, too pricey for what you get. We paid $15 for fish & chips that was pretty bland. Not much flavor.

Classy place and a quick lunch! I had the chicken noodle soup with half the chicken avocado flatbrad - both were delicious and perfect size! Staff was very helpful, fun to talk to, and quick!!

This was a perfect experience. I've been wanting to try this place out for some time now. The service was excellent the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We started with the Pretzel bites and good lord that mustard sauce DELICIOUS. We both ordered the 6oz filet and after a short wait we were informed that they had run out of the 6oz and were upgrading us to the 9oz at no extra charge. Management is on point. Drinks are great as well. In all I had an amazing date with my beautiful lady here with great food and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Came on a busy Friday night, but our wait was enjoyable. Fun bar area with tv's. Happy hour drink specials. They use your phone to let you know when your table is ready. Also this system let you download the app The List and you could see where you were on the wait list. Tried the spicy tuna wontons appy. It was delicious and not too spicy. It was also on the house as a thank you for waiting over their quoted time for a table. Love any flatbread on the menu. Burger is huge. Staff is friendly and will talk to you.

This place is one of the few gems that my coworkers and I have found in Dublin, OH. What I've always loved the most is the excellent service that we get and how they really treat you like family here! This place does get crowded so I would recommend making a reservation. My go to here is always the Ahri Tuna Flatbread, make sure you give it a try!

Nice service, quality meats (smoked pork was tasty but a tad dry) and loved the mashed potatoes. Mussels *so* tiny and not worth the effort. Would sure give them another try when back in the area.

We had a surprise the last time we ate at Matt's. The menu changed again and not for the better. I tried the new chicken breast that replaced the half chicken and received sliced breast that was dried out and not edible - like it was stale around the outside and hard. Why would they serve something like that? So I got a replacement which I had to wait for - then was asked if I wanted another glass of wine while I waited. Neither was comped...which sealed the deal for me. Matt's is off the list for the foreseeable future - which is sad because they are close and used to be reliable.

Had lunch here on a beautiful Friday. We sat outside near a nice little pond with cat tails and other vegetation. Service was great, very friendly waitress. Food was tasty, I had the California chicken with a side Matt salad which was excellent. Prices are a little on the high side but I'm guessing (I'm not from the area) they're reasonable for the area.

We go to Matt's for the Sunday brunch a couple of times monthly. This says a lot in itself, since there are many brunches available in the Dublin area. The main thing that keeps us coming back is consistently high quality food. The atmosphere is great, very much in keeping with the European feel that they're going for. The staff is excellent, never a slip up & always friendly and helpful. I particularly like the Matt's salad, with the nuts, fruit & dijon vinaigrette. My secret shame is the turkey hash- a simple dish, but they execute it so well. The omelette bar offers predictable ingredients, and is well executed. Breakfast standards, such as scrambled eggs (with cheese), bacon, hash browns, Eggs Benedict & huge cinnamon rolls are always present. There's also a variable pasta dish each week. For an additional charge, there's a coffee bar & a Bloody Mary bar. Serving dishes are kept full, the line is clean and the food is at temperature. Again, we go there often, because we know that we will like it- every time.

I give 2 stars because of their service. Food has always been good to my taste. It was 10:45pm when I called to confirm if the kitchen was open. Kelli, who answered the phone said "yes, they are open until 12...probably" I didn't like the probably part, so I had her confirm. She came back on the phone and said, "YES, we are open until 12." Then she informs me, "wait, our manager Patty next to me tells me that kitchen will be closing in 15 min at 11pm" This was on last Saturday evening. Then, I have to go to our local joint called Shady. While I am waiting, I check out Matt the Miller website. The website informs me that Matt the Miller is OPEN until midnight! I was like, those girls don't know what they are talking about. I called back to make sure they were closed, and the girls hand the phone to guy name Carl. He informs me that there must be a miscommunication. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES BUDDY!

Had to find a patio open tonight to appreciate the great weather we're having. Luckily I found one at "Matt The Miller's Tavern" in Dublin. So onto the patio with a couple nice brews and one of their "The Miller's Original Flatbreads". To pair with our brews, my partner in crime and I chose the "Fig and Prosciutto Flatbread" to share .. A garlic oil rubbed flatbread that is baked with goat cheese and fig spread, then topped with prosciutto, arugula and shaved parmesan cheese. A classic sweet and salty affair. All-in-all .. the flatbreads are a very good choice for a late afternoon or early evening snack.

Soo....I really wanted to like this place. We had just moved to the Columbus area, and I wanted it to find my go-to restaurant. Enter Matt the Millers Tavern. It's a cute, little place located conveniently down the street. After seeing the good Yelp reviews and hearing many positive reviews from co-workers, my husband decided to take his visiting parents there for lunch. Despite being maybe 1/3 full, it took some time before we were even greeted at the door. Slowly, we were seated, and we didn't have anyone else come by for like 5-10 minutes. The server wasn't unfriendly; he just was slow, inattentive, and at times, seemed annoyed by any request made. Having worked in the industry, I know some of the worst service delivered is when the restaurant is slow, so I get it. It wasn't bad, it wasn't good, it was just bleh. At least he didn't mess up our order. C+ The food. I thought the food was terrible. I don't get you people in Columbus that look at my husband or myself like we are murderers when we say the food was bad. I had the black and bleu flatbread that I couldn't choke down. My husband didn't like his burger, and my mother-in-law said her fish and chips were bland. We shared forgettable appetizer that wasn't very good, either. The cheese and ale soup, however, was good. Not great, but good.(D-) Now for the good. They have an awesome selection of beer. I had an amazing banana bread flavored beer. There were so many choices! (B+) Would I go back? Ehh. I like their drink selections, and the Bloody Mary bar sounds intriguing. However, I'd probably only go back if someone else paid for it.

I've been coming to the Dublin location for awhile now and have always been a huge fan, but my most recent visit was not so hot. Service was excellent, we had a great waiter. Upon his recommendation, I ordered the Walleye. Apparently it's very popular. My first bite off the corner was ok, but it wasn't nearly as flaky as I expected. Then I quickly realized that the entire inside was still raw. It looked cooked from the outside, but wasn't even close. I told the waiter and he got another one going for me. Whatever, shit happens. When I received the second one, I immediately put my fork through the center to ensure it was cooked and it seemed ok, but still, this one wasn't very flaky either. The taste wasn't even good. It was sort of rubbery and...blah. I was very disappointed. At this point I was not about to wait an extra 20 minutes for another dish after the first two were bad, so I just called it quits.

I really wish this could be a more positive review. I really do. My experiences at other Matt's locations have been good. My experience with this location began and ended at the hostess stand. We kept getting bumped for a table because, according to the hostess, other people "called ahead." They didn't make a reservation, they simply called ahead. When I asked a couple next to us in line about the call ahead thing, they told us, "We didn't actually call ahead, we just told the hostess we did." With that, we left. Get your act together Matt.

I've been in twice and both visits were good. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food and drinks were very good. The classic margherita flatbread is yummy; the pretzel bites looked amazing (and must have been as they never made it to my end of the table!). Nice time with work team for holiday drinks and aps. Would love to come back for a full meal.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Staff was very friendly and appetizers were awesome - especially the calamari. Had a nice sized grilled chicken salad that was very good. Definitely recommend Matt the Millers to anyone.

DELICIOUS! Went for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back! I had the $10.99 combo with small Matt's salad and 1/2 housemade chicken salad on a croissant. Both were SO good! My husband's BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger was equally as good! Also tried the rum punch.....yummy! Our server was a sweet girl and very helpful! Filled out a short evaluation on my phone and received a $5 discount! We are so glad that we finally tried this place.

Still a fun bar and restaurant to go to, but beware the price increases. Nice piece of Carrot Cake, but $11.99? Are you kidding me? I then checked the whole before and after menu and found lots of items that went up significantly. Let the buyer beware........

boy did i feel like a little princess at this place. they bent over backwards to accomodate my vegan food requests. while they only have one meal formally labeled as vegan (which is impressive in and of itself), there seems to be flexibility in the menu. i started out with some flatbread pizza that was turned into a vegan concoction per my request. They didn't charge me any extra fees to make the several substitutions I asked for and the chef even came out to clarify some of my request-- how awesome is that. for my meal, i ordered the vegan burger, which was really tasty. it was hard to get all the burger ingredients into every bite, which led to it being dry in some areas but besides that it was good. there is not a lot of detail on the menu about what's in the burger but I gather that some sort of bean material was the base. my honey liked his pasta dish (and the vegan flatbread) very much. and the bartender was really nice and accommodating. we're looking forward to visiting again.

Nice up-scale tavern atmosphere. The flat iron steak was tasty...had to go that route as the strip was about $9 over priced! I wasn't disappointed though. Someone ordered the Miller Burger and it was enough for two grown men! A definite stop for dining....and surprisingly a great bourbon selection

This restaurant kept popping up on Yelp for me as one of the favorite places near me. So, I had been looking forward to giving it a try some time. Although there were a number of good things about the experience, I have to say that the service overshadowed the experience. Inside, the decor is classy with a lot of dark woods, booths and contemporary feel. Definitely a very comfortable place to dine. The bar area is separated with a wall and has a number of televisions. When I visit the place, I went for the dining area. It was a Sunday afternoon near the end of the brunch service. I was looking more for lunch. Only a few booths were occupied. When we first sat down, the muzak was playing tunes by Michael Buble, but we were quickly started by the change of pace to Deep Purple's "Smoke On The Water" and other vintage rock tunes. Usually, the music provides a nice background ambiance, but this was stark difference was quite noticeable that it became one of the topics of conversation. The menu offers a nice selection of starters, soup & salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and enrtrees with some distinctively different and tempting options. I splurged and went for "The Miller" burger while my dining partner had the pear & Gorgonzola flatbread. The burger was 3/4 of beef and a homemade rosemary potato bun that was topped with about everything except for the kitchen sink. Be sure to have a hearty appetite, if you order this one. Although I did not leave hungry after eating it (as the menu promises), I cannot say my taste buds felt satisfied. The burger was prepared to order. My friend who had the pear & Gorgonzola flatbread raved about it. I should have gone for the flatbread, but I was looking for something more substantial. The service ... after taking our order, our server was pretty much MIA. My water glass went empty which is a big issue for me. I suspect this was either a bad server or an off day. I saw other servers that were quite attentive to their tables, but only focused on their tables. Usually a place of this caliber, servers work as a team and back each other. For the most part, I did not see that here. The server did eventually bring us our bill, but never came back to collect. One of the other servers did pitch in at that point. I rarely tip less than 20%, but I did today.

Try their Sunday Brunch. Trust me on this! It will be some of the best brunch you have ever had. Their Happy Hour is awesome as well as just about any menu item. My favs are their edamame and any of their flatbreads !

Had dinner here with my mother last week and I forgot how good the food is. I will be in more often now. I had the walleye which was outstanding and my mom loved her dinner as well. The only thing I would change is the amount of cheese baked on the artichoke dip but that won't keep me from giving 5 stars..it's easy to scrape off :) Service was great and I'm looking forward to going back and trying something new.

Matt the Miller's is okay. It's the kind of place that's good to keep in mind if you have out-of-town guests who may not be too adventurous (or if you have a wide variety of tastes on your hands). They'll be impressed by the upscale "tavern" interior, wide menu, and decently executed dishes. For me, it's all a bit bland and borderline "chainy" but... a solid standby. I'd only ever been to the Grandview location, but found myself in Dublin for brunch. It was buffet-style, which has its own set of pros and cons, but for the most part I thought it was above-average for brunch buffet. They could've changed out some of the pans sooner but, I ended up with a bursting full plate and really enjoyed almost everything I picked up. Unfortunately, with the layout I didn't notice the made-to-order omelettes until after I'd put a bunch of the cheesy scrambled eggs from the pan on my plate (probably my least fave item), in addition to all the other items. Oh well. One of the coolest aspects of a MtM brunch is the bloody mary bar. Your server gives you a slip of paper to fill out at your table. You pick your liquor (house pepper vodka or reg vodka), your mix (clamato, some kind of commercial BM spicy blend, or tomato juice), TONS of veggies and other goodies to go inside, rim salt, and a plethora of other flavor condiments to jazz up your mary. Then, the slips get dropped off to the bartender and your BM will show up a short time later (uhhh... you know what I mean. Your DRINK). So that was cool, except the bartender only got about halfway through making mine before he decided it was ready. Several items I ordered were omitted (I only got a celery stalk, no pickled green beans or pearl onions), and no celery salt on the rim. Neat idea, poor execution. Our server was kind of strange. I just didn't feel like she explained anything or had much pep. Kind of awkward. This location is smaller than Grandview. It was nice that we could walk in on a Sunday morning and not wait for a billion years to be seated. The place was only about 50% full around 11 am, which I appreciated. Lots of older folks and kiddos. This is the 'burbs, afterall. Oh! $5 off check-in offer!

I visited with a few coworkers on the way back from a work meeting last week, and just like my three stars tell you, it was A-OK. The food was good, nothing out of the ordinary. I'd say standard pub fare. I had a salad and added some shrimp and it seemed like a salad I could get anywhere. Some of the other bigger dishes looked good but it all seemed to heavy before two more hours in the car. Service was great, though! Overall, I wasn't disappointed in the food, but I wasn't blown away either.

Had the Ahi Tuna Flatbread tonight (1/2) happy hour, SO amazing! My friend had the Shrimp & Grits which I have only ever ordered in the past, right off the appetizer menu for a meal. It moved to the dinner list due to making am award list, but seemed a fraction smaller AND $5 more so i decided $15 maybe Not . THIS time, WOW! MY friend said it was amazing for the 1st time ordering it. But for grits a bit pricy.

Nice establishment for our large 15-person group. A bit on the noisy side - but so were we. Food was great, the whole group was quite pleased. Primary deduction was for when I ordered a nice glass of Scotch for dessert - server brought it with ice (he never asked my preference) and when I sent it back, I'm sure that all they did was scoop the ice out and return it to me. Even watered down it was a nice glass but I can't give them credit for this.

The ambiance is very nice and the beer selection is top notch. The food was fairly bland. I had the BBQ Bacon burger and felt the candied bacon was better in theory than in execution. The other people in our group were not impressed with their entrees either (Fish and Chips, and the Black and Blue flatbread). Having said that the service was very good, albeit slow. All in all I would be hard pressed to go back.

Brunch here has good reviews, on Yelp and from friends. So, looking for a place to have brunch with Sweetie's friends we settled on this. Glad we did. Waited a bit for seating at noon on Sunday, but it wasn't too bad. The place is warm and inviting. Service was good. And the buffet was great. A pretty big spread of very good items. Salads were fresh, the usual breakfast stuff was there and well-executed, and there were extras like pasta, steak with spinach risotto, etc. My stand-by sausage gravy was excellent (though the biscuits were only good, not great.) We'll go back for brunch I'm sure, and probably to try the regular menu.

I ate here solely on the YELP reviews and boy was I glad I did. I was in town on business and was looking for a place to eat. This place had great reviews and seemed almost too good to be true. THEY EVEN HAD STRONGBOW CIDER. GET OUT! First off... get the Bavarian Pretzel Bites. They're outstanding. I'm not really sure anything here isn't outstanding but that's besides the point... The Pan Seared Walleye was amazing! It's panko crusted and topped with a little soy citrus butter sauce (Not a lot - trust me, I'm not a sauce guy) The topper here is that this place had a HUGE selection of beer. Ales, Browns, Lagers, and Ciders.

I was in the area again for business and we decided to stop by again. I have to say this visit was much better than my last. I am trying to watch my weight so during this visit I wanted a salad with some ahi tuna. They didn't offer one on the menu but when I asked the waitress she had them make one for me. That level of service was far superior to what I experienced last time. Others in my party had some flatbread with some figs and proscuitto. I think it had an assortment of cheeses as well. Some others had a blackened tilapia which looked good and moist. They enjoyed it. I would not hesitate to stop by here again during my next trip up.

Excellent brunch buffet! Great selection from eggs Benedict to flatbreads to delicious small desserts! A definite must try!

Not sure why the high ratings? Nice atmosphere and good drink selection. We had the jerk chicken and it was terrible.... Maybe I just selected the wrong thing off the menu? Also had the pretzel bites which are okay but nothing great!

Great place! We met up during the weekend of the Irish fest. There was 14 of us (including 4 kids) for my friends bday party. Drinks came somewhat quick (we all know thats whats most important to an Irish family anyway, right)... Food was pretty good! I had the spinach pizza. All seemed to enjoy it. Great faux Irish stuff hanging on the walls. We were seated and fed relatively quick even though the fest was going on and it was PACKED! The waiter though seemed like one of those career waiters that "forgot" to take the online coupon i printed off and "forgot" to mention the 18% gratuity. Kinda shady..ive been to, and served at enough restaurants to know whats up dude.. All in all we dug it and will be back fo sho.

After experiencing a delicous dinner at the Grandview location, we decided to stop at Matt the Miller's in Dublin for their Sunday brunch buffet after I had shown a home in Plain City. I'd been looking forward to trying their brunch for a long time; now I wish I'd waited longer and saved the money. We waited 20 minutes to be seated in a booth that was vacant the ENTIRE time we stood at the door. For the $17 price tag, I expected a beverage to be included. Not the case. Even coffee was extra. I love Eggs Benedict and it's a pain to make at home, so I was happy to see it offered as a choice on the buffet. It was OK. Nothing spectacular. The scalloped potatoes were dry and very bland. The cinnamon rolls were huge but disappointing as well. I felt this was a "Frisch's Big Boy" buffet for 3 times the price. I could've experienced the same food and quality (maybe even better) at Frisch's for about $6.99. Oh-- and kids over 10 are charged full price. Glad my 11 year old passes for 10, because there's no way I wouldve paid $17 for her to eat (1) small plate of food. As it was, it pained me to pay the $8 child's price that was charged. Service was overall slow and intermittent as well. We wont be returning for brunch, and I wont recommend it to others.

I absolutely love Matt the Miller's. I first went to the one in Indy and then came to the Dublin location a business trip. It was packed, but ended up getting a table quickly in the bar area. Their food is always great. I highly recommend their hummus appetizer and their salmon is always great as well. Good service and great food.

Good beer selection, low lighting, great staff and what looked like great big yummy serving of pretzel bites. I was told they are very good by my friends. I liked it. I did order a bottle of Italian red- drawing a blank on name and it was yeasty. They bartender was nice enough to just charge us for the glass and not the whole bottle.

I've been here a few times and I have been impressed every time. I got the pork tenderloin on the last visit and it was very flavorful and moist, in fact one of the best tenderloins that I have ever had. The beer selection has a good choice of craft beers that pair up well with the food.

Thrid time is the charm! Finally I can give Matt the Miller the 5 star review it deserves! First off I would like to thank their wonderful manager Jennifer as well as the CEO of the company a HUGE thank you. I have never seen anyone care and love their business as much as they do and that shows! I decided to switch it up and try their Dublin location after my lasts visits in Grandview. Inside the decor is about the same, a comforting simple elegance. The host as well as the waitress were very accomidating and friendly and we had drinks and took desserts home with us. This time they were very well packaged, beautiful with attention to detail and the ice cream separate from the cakes (see picture) We went with the Oreo Cookie Explosion, The Giant Carrot Cake, The Creme Brulee Cheesecake and the Big Fat Chocolate Cake. Very generous portions, one dessert is enough for several people to share and each was amazingly good! Going into detail the creme brulee cheesecake was light and creamy, great graham cracker crust, simply devine. The big fat chocolate cake was exactly that - any chocoholics dream and given a nice twist with the raspberry. Who doesn't love Oreos and vanilla ice cream? A classic American combo -Nuff said. Now on to my newfound love.... The Giant Carrot Cake This I shared with noone, I did give my husband a taste of the best caramel known to mankind but only to rub in what delight I was experiencing. The slice easily enough to feed a family of 4 but so good I was completly selfish and a very very happy woman! The frosting, the caramel, the nuts, every bit and bite of this cake is sheer ecstasy! Ever though my birthday just passed all I could think about is wanting a whole one of those cakes for my birthday, maybe for my husbands, or anybody elses really as long as I can get my hands on more of that cake again SOON! Thank you again for giving me the chance to fall in love with your restaurant and becoming a loyal follower and believer of your success!

Very good service, cheap drinks (Wednesdays have state minimum wine, making a bottle the same price as two glasses in some cases), good food. Too much fat/salt in some of the food which drowned out flavours. Perhaps on purpose? Would go again.

First time here the other day for lunch. Stopped in around lunchtime on a Friday and the place was busy (go figure!). There as a 25 minute wait, so we chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and took our order within minutes. I had the mushroom flatbread and a soda. It was good, but I wasnt too crazy about the food. I think I need to go back again to try something else. The atmosphere was nice and there were alot of people there in group - probably office Christmas parties. I will definitely go back again! Heard great things about this place!

Never been to brunch, but heard it's good and I'll show up eventually. I've been here a million times for lunch, dinner, and drinks after work. The bar staff is super friendly, the TV's are big in the bar area. If you want a more quiet atmosphere, the dinner area or private room works perfectly. I've had a bunch of their food - but my favorites are their pretzel bites and the balsamic salad (add seared ahi tuna).

I'm perennially griping that there just isn't enough interesting local stuff in the outer 'burbs. Matt the Miller's brings me hope. I've been here many times, and it's always busy with an upbeat energetic vibe to the place with a fantastic patio. They've got an excellent bar, and you'll be taken seriously if you order a serious drink. Yeah, a martini has vermouth in it and an Old Fashioned has bitters. Thank you for not asking me to confirm that I want what I ordered. I find it notable for me that they have more than one dish that each on their own is enough reason for me to come in. The stir-fried edamame is one of my favorites for sharing with less adventurous friends. It routinely goes like this: "What the hell is that?" "Soybeans" "Soybeans? You're kidding me, right? How do i eat these things?" "Not kidding. Don't eat the shells" "Wow! These things are great!" "Told ya" The other is the Ahi-Tuna flatbread, which became an instant favorite of mine. Matt's is great for date-night, hanging with a group, or an after work drink. Recommended.

I think that this place is a good, solid bar with solid bar food. We all had various sandwiches on the menu and flatbreads and thought they were good. I wouldn't call it phenomenal or out of the ordinary, but definitely good. We'd come back again. Good selection of beers, but I hear the Grandview location has a larger selection. Nice ambience, gets quiet later in the evening seeing that this place is in Dublin and not Grandview.

I only chose this bar/restaurant because of the other Yelp reviews. It's calm, clean, modern, and relaxing. The interior has earthy tones and sort of a highbrow atmosphere. Apart from a decent selection of drafts, porters, ales, and lagers the flat-breads are what makes this place stand out. You name a sandwich and they have a flat-bread for it.

This is a great post hard-day-at-work Happy Hour spot! This is my kind of bar. The service is immediate, the lighting is dark enough that no one can really recognize you, there are plenty of TVs at every angle to get caught up in if conversation lags and the beverage choices are outstanding. High Point: They have Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on tap! Low Point: The food is sub-par and a little pricey to make this a "regular" Happy Hour turn into Dinner Out bar.

After hearing several rave reviews a few pals and I decided it was time to give Matt The Millers a try. We sat on the patio, which holds six or so tables. Service was impressive throughout our meal. I opted for the chopped salad which included goat cheese, edamame and thin fries. Yum! The bar menu was impressive and I'd like to return for their happy hour specials. We split the impossibly huge big fat chocolate cake. No really, that's the name. A waiter actually wished us good luck and congratulated us on our attempt to finish it. Overall, a tasty and laid back place. I think Matt and I could become good friends.

Stopped in here tonight for some chill Sunday night fun. I woke up with "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" in my head by U2 and I thought what better way to get this song out of my head than a bloody mary! Unfortunately for me, I was busy most of the day getting stuff done so I didn't get to enjoy Bloody Sunday until around 6PM. Went here with my neighbor and I started off with a bloody mary made with Absolut Peppar, which is the only vodka you should put in a bloody mary. It was great--just how I like it. I like mine with a couple limes and none of the garnish crap. The bartender claimed to be a bloody mary expert, and she told me she is also the one who tends the bloody mary bar during the Sunday brunch. We talked for a while about her search for good ingredients for them and I was pleased to hear how much care she puts in to them. We also chatted about various other drinks and she seemed to really know what she was doing. She claimed to make a killer margarita, and my buddy had a couple of them made with Cabo and he agreed. They were so killer, in fact, that he said a part of him had died inside. They have a happy hour that runs all night on Sundays, including a 5 dollar martini list, which doesn't interest me but that had about 10 different ones that sounded good if you are "in to that kind of thing." Beers are also $1 off and house wines are $4. The house reds are Frontera, which is a good cheap wine I've bought at home. They're still making a killer profit off of you but for a $4 glass of wine Frontera in a restaurant is alright with me. I had a glass of the merlot. I also had an Old Speckled Hen for $3.50, which was a 16oz can (and a killer deal) served with a frosty glass. This may be my new Sunday Bloody Sunday chill hangout spot close to home. The only problem was that this place was dead and the atmosphere wasn't screaming "have fun" at 7PM on a Sunday. It's deep in to Dublin though--and thick with breeders (families) so people were probably at home having a Sunday roast, praying for world peace, changing diapers and watching vacation slideshows. For food we started with the hummus plate, which I've had before. It's around $7 and you get a MASSIVE amount of hummus, pitas and veggies. The hummus was excellent and a great deal for the money. The amount is equal to about 2 small tubs of hummus you buy at the grocery. The only thing I would change is that I like extra virgin olive oil poured over my hummus, which they didn't do here. This is just a personal preference and dependent on the type of restaurant though so I don't fault them for that. We also had an order of the tavern chips--potato chips topped with blue cheese sauce, bacon, green onion and diced tomato, served with cup of creamy garlic sauce. These were pretty good but they were stingy with the bacon pieces... and I love my bacon. They shouldn't advertise that there is bacon on these if they only put a few small bits on them--I felt cheated because I'm a bacon lover. They also could have had more of the blue cheese sauce. The other place in town that has these is Cap City--minus the bacon--and MTM's version is much better. Finally I had a happy hour flat bread which is half of a regular flatbread for $5. I got the mushroom one which was pretty much uninteresting and boring. It was supposed to have crimini mushrooms on it, but they were few and far between, and all around this was a pretty bland experience. Even for $5 I wouldn't get this again. It was just "okay" and pretty much a disappointment. Why not spice up a *mushroom* flatbread with a greater variety of mushrooms--throw some shitakes on there, some oyster shrooms, maybe some big chunks of portabellas, etc. Make this fun! I'm sure I'll go again--the late Sunday happy hour really appeals to me. I'll just skip the flatbreads and get a double order of the tavern chips with extra bacon and extra sauce.

After a disappointing first visit (see below) I was invited back by management and I'm happy to say that this trip was much better! This time we came for Sunday brunch. I was impressed at the selection of items - eggs Benedict, flatbreads, omelette station, waffles and a ton of other delicious foods. Everything I sampled was good. Our table went back for seconds (and thirds!) I'd recommend the waffles. Crisp edges, sweet but not too sweet, and light. Definitely try one topped with strawberry purée and whipped cream. I'll be back for brunch again!

Pretty good food, though a bit pricey for me for the portions you get. Burgers are hefty though. Ahai tuna flatbread was good, but again the place is pricey for me. If you like good american style food, this is probably a place worth checking out. It was fun trying out different beer flights. They have a pretty wide selection from what I can tell. Not much else to say.

There's a reason this place is usually busy -- food is elegantly prepared without being pricey. Creative and thoughtful beer and wine menu. Friendly and attentive service. Upscale decor, and really lovely patio for a strip mall. Went there last Sunday with friends for dinner and drinks. The only glitch that irritated me was the Yelp check-in coupon was denied as being a "lunch only" special. It doesn't state that on the coupon, so YMMV.

In the past I've really enjoyed the flatbreads at the tavern; however our last visit wasn't that great. It was before the dinner rush so not that busy but our waitress spent more time chatting with other employees than she did taking care of us. Also the flatbread I generally order (pear and gorgonzola) was not made well and the vinaigrette dressing had been substituted with another with no explanation. This has moved Matt the Miller's down a few slots on our favorite restaurants list unfortunately.

The food here is mediocre, not exceptional and the prices are somewhat high considering portion sizes. Our last visit was on April 16, and we were quite disappointed with both the food, serving portion sizes, and high prices. The manager was good enough to give us a $10 gift certificate to come back again, and I did not give them a negative review (or any review) for that reason. This was a spur of the moment visit and we didn't have the gift certificate with us. We hadn't been back since April, but my wife and I decided to give it another try since we found ourselves next-door dropping off a parcel at the FedEx store. I got the Ahi tuna ($24) and the mussels ($12). My wife got the pork loin with asparagus ($21). Of these dishes, the Ahi tuna was the best. We ordered two drinks, but no dessert, and no salad. When the mussels came out, they were accompanied by two tiny slices of toasted bread, so we asked for more bread for dipping in the broth. On the final bill I was surprised to find a one dollar charge for the two tiny slices of bread. The bread was simply toast, nothing special. This may be a small factor, but when dropping almost $100 including tax and tip on a dinner that only included two drinks and no dessert, nickel and diming someone for a tiny piece of bread seems a little ridiculous. To their benefit, I complained and they did take the one dollar off. Also, there had been a 4-hour power failure before our arrival, so the kitchen may not have been in tip-top shape. Nonetheless, this was our second visit here recently, and our second disappointing dinner.

Stopped in tonight for restaurant week because they had one of the best menus I had seen. I had already planned out my plan of attack and was kind enough to tell my friend what he was going to order as an appetizer. We had the loaded tavern chips and spinach and artichoke dip to start. I loved the loaded tavern chips, I've had "dirty chips" at a number of places but these really hit the spot. The spinach and artichoke was good, but no better than any other place in the area (such as the Brazenhead). We followed this with Matt's burger and the asparagus lasagna. As expected the burger was delicious and the sweet potato fries really added something, although I assume they were frozen and not home made. As for the lasagna, there was something a bit off, the noodles seemed to be al dente which isn't ideal for lasagna. And of course we had to have dessert. I ordered the chocolate mousse and my friend tried the key lime pie. Again, my food came out fantastic and his a bit mediocre. There was something definitely off about the key lime pie and it sat on our table untouched for a while. A number of servers (none our own) walked by without asking how everything was, and then the manager walked by without saying a word. As my friend is in the restaurant business, he was seriously disappointed with the service. On top of that, when our server came back with our check and we made a complaint, she was a bit rude about our opinion of the pie. She did offer us another dessert (more mousse that is now in my fridge) but we were put-off with her attitude. They have an extensive menu that I look forward to trying, but unfortunately the service was sub-par. Hopefully the service will improve by the next time I go there.

I hope to leave a follow up 5 star review. I have been here 2 time so far and I love the place. I have tried the Miller signature burger and find it to be very gourmet and delicious. The have a very good beer selection. The atmosphere was upper middle class-lower upper class. The food pricing was reasonable. My wife sampled several dishes and loved them all. The service the second time was very sub-par. I had to send the meal back because the bun was actually stale... Yeah, so stale it hurt my teeth.. The second one they brought out was amazing and the bun was totally different. I was hardly apologized to for the huge bun mistake. Not good for a restaurant of this quality. Next time I hope to not have a problem. This is becoming one of my favorite spots in Columbus.

I had heard lots of positives about this place, but what a letdown! It was a Saturday evening so a wait was expected. The place looks quite nice but that's all it had going. The 15-minute wait turned to 30 to 45 to almost an hour. When we finally got to the table, it was still unclean, so we waited again! The server says no linen so Ok we get paper. At this point I would not have been surprised if they gave us plastic-ware and paper plates. So OK, at-least the food and service must be good, right? Wrong again! The usual reason (excuse) is they were busy. But I saw several tables (by then) were empty and it was hard to catch our waiter even when we needed her. The shrimp flat-bread comes minus the shrimp and the remake takes forever. The only time the server is at the table is to check on beer refills (of course). The Hawaiian sun-fish I ordered was decent but small. The Margherita flat-bread was the only good food. I would certainly not go there again and would dissuade other from doing so. The parking area is plus. The have a big bar with TVs, and if thats your thing, then yes. Else you could do better with any Joe-Schmo Tavern.

Here is the deal: MTM is what I would call "serviceable food with a boisterous bar area." The key part to MTM is there is nothing on the menu that warrants a "special trip" --- if you happen to be out-and-about in Dublin (or Grandview now) and you feel like dropping in for decent food and good happy-hour specials, give it a shot. Here is the menu we sampled: 1. "Bavarian Pretzel Bites", served with one side of heavy-garlic sauce and honey-dijon mustard. First, calling these "bites" is an understatment; these are heavy rolls, not in any way akin to pretzels, and much closer to bread or even hush puppies. They were still good, but you get approximately 22 of the things and you can barely eat 6 before you have spoiled your appetite. 3/5 on this dish. 2. Chicken Salad Plate - Wonderful. This is some of the best chicken salad I have had, and the side salad that comes on the plate (I believe it is "Miller's Salad") was good too. Only negative - 9.95 for chicken salad is a touch steep, but the portion was generous and makes up for it. 5/5 on this dish. 3. Seared-Rare Ahi Tuna Flatbread: Good and bad. Good: The tuna was good quality and cooked properly, most of the flavors worked together, and the portion was generous and correct for the price point (14.95). Bad: the amount of ingredients makes it impossible to eat as a flatbread and the wasabi sauce is completely overpowering. I was breathing wasabi through my nostrils by the end, and I am no stranger to that mustard. It was too intense for that kind of meal. I would recommend taking it off of the "flatbread" concept altogether and turning into a deluxe entree/salad. 4/5 on this dish. Other observations: the waiter could only really point to the Beer Cheese Soup (which I intend to try next time I am there) as the "signature dish" - not good. If I am going to pay above-normal prices for normal food, I want a signature dish (that isn't soup). Finally, on happy hour, the booze prices cannot be beat: five dollar martinis, three dollar wine, one dollar off beer draughts - great deal for happy hours. Downside: MTM only lets you take advantage of happy hour IN THE BAR AREA. This is a cheap ploy to cut down on costs, but it makes it less likely that Happy Hour Patrons are going to keep on for dinner, so my message to MTM is: stop being cheap and extend your Happy Hour to the whole restaurant. All you are doing is making customers mad.

I went here for restaurant week and I just wanted more. I think whenever restaurants are pricier and a bit more formal, I want more from them than I get at my go-to place down the road from me. And I don't know that I did from MM. The service is excellent. The food is just ok. And the price is kind of steep. The beer soup was a bit cool. The featured mixed drink was 9 clams, which I found a bit steep. The asparagus lasagna is interesting just like it sounds. Stay away from the black and tan mousse. It's kind of like eating icing. But! When the waiter saw we didn't want to finish, he offered to bring us creme brulee cheesecake instead. So there was that. I just don't think it offered me enough to make me want to go back. Once was enough. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't as great as I would want it to be at the prices.

Extraordinary food. ENTREES I went to Matt the Millers with some coworkers after work. It was the first time I'd been there. The menu has a good mix of dinner entrees and bar food (burgers, fries). Everyone in our party ordered a different item, and enjoyed their meals. The burgers a very big - about twice the size of a burger from the average sports bar. The entrees are large as well, so although the entree cost is slightly above some other restaurants, the portion size is proportional. DRINKS There is a large selection of drinks. In addition to a full bar of items, there is a decent wine list, and the server was knowledgeable about the various wines. DESSERT Tired of paying $5 for a tiny slice pf pie? Eat at Matt the Millers. The desserts are incredibly large. Two slices of Matt the Millers cake fed 10 people! We ordered the chocolate cake and the carrot cake, both of which were moist and rich. They provided a great end to a great meal. SERVICE The restaurant was relatively full, and we had a party of about 10 people. Nevertheless the waiter came right away and provided attentive service throughout the meal. We also received our food quickly. OVERALL Highly recommended. It was a great dining experience, and you'll be glad you tried it.

My wife and I went to MTM with another couple last Friday night. Overall, we had a terrific time. One detractor, they do not take reservations. We called ahead, but still wound up loitering by the door for about 15 minutes. While waiting, we worked our way up to bar (where it seemed like half of the boisterous, cheerful young professionals of Dublin were having a get-together!) The selection of beers on tap was very good. The food was amazing, starting with the pretzel bites appetizer - melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We were all tempted by the variety of flatbreads, so we decided to order four of them and share. This was a Very Good Decision!!! Two of the four were superb, the ahi tuna and the steak & blue cheese. The smoked salmon was very tasty, but could have used a tad more salmon. The chicken avocado, with watermelon salsa, was pretty good - but perhaps this is a little bit of an acquired taste. ;) Service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back to do the "flatbread sampler" thing again!

Matt the Millers is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. This is a great place to go for beer lovers: the beer selection is fantastic. I highly recommend the Sunday brunch. The brunch offers a wide selection of entrees, including flatbreads and lunch-type food. If you're into the breakfast foods for brunch, there is a made-to-order omelet bar and tasty french toast. If you are going to brunch on a special occasion day (e.g., Mother's Day), make a reservation. Service has always been good for me here, too.

I decided to give Matt the Miller a third try recently during a meal that was too late for lunch and too early for dinner (unless you're an extra on The Golden Girls. . . . RIP Dorthy). So at 3:30ish with nothing particular sounding like it would hit the spot, date and I wandered into an expectantly empty M the M on a bitter cold idle Tuesday. Although it was too early for happy hour we chose seats near the bar and reviewed the menu while listening to an eclectic mix of Christmas music. Many of the songs sounded like they had been recorded using a keyboard circa '93 (complete with drum pad) and meant to be the background music in a yule tide spin off of sonic the hedgehog. See also: 12 days of Christmas (Muppet's version) See also: Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (instrumental version from a midi file?) See also: Santa Baby (possibly Cindy Lauper) Music was not bad, just noteworthy and the ambiance was warm and inviting. In reviewing the menu and deciding how big our appetites were, the bartender gave date and I a detailed page by page tour. Tour started with recommendations from the apps menu which included shrimp and grits and ahi tuna wanton nachoish things. Bartender skipped the salads and lighter options (at my request of course) and moved into flat breads, sandwiches and entrees recommending the steak or chicken/avocado flat breads, steak sandwich, and the scallop entree. The yelp-worthy tour which included lines like, "I love this as much as I love babies," was beyond funny, cool and useful. Bravo sir. Date suggested I order the scallops and he order the chicken avocado flat bread. As anyone who knows me, knows: you don't have to ask me twice to order scallops. See also: mmmmmm See also: tastiest thing I ever put in my mouth See also: love of my life (calm down date, I'm talking about the scallops) The flat bread was tasty with just the right amount of spice for me. Scallops, that were cooked well but a tad on the salty side, topped a bow tie pasta and a cream sauce which also included broccoli, edamame and sun dried tomatoes. The entree had a surprisingly complicated flavor profile: the sauce, although initially felt a little heavy on the garlic, continued to develop as we sampled it, into a nice cream sauce with a surprisingly sweet finish. Date thought the sun dried tomatoes slightly overpowered the dish but this wasn't something that I noticed. Overall, on a cold day with an empty tummy the entree really did hit the spot and I would order it again. Date had a Guinness that even without happy hour prices was only $3.95 and I had a glass of meritage which was recommended by previously mentioned M the M cast member, er bartender. Wine was smooth and paired well with the pasta. The happy hour menu (which started at 4) featured several $5 martini's and a few apps that on any other day probably would have filled our table. I think I'll defiantly be back to sample some of the other recommended appetizers and possibly an M the M-tini or 3. I am increasing my rating from 2 stars to 4 (1 star for fabulous bartender/menu tour guide and 1 star for the improvement of the food). Meal ended up being part of an unexpectedly fantastic Tuesday. M the M lets be friends again?

The food was great! We had the blackened Walleye and the California Club. Both were excellent! Service was very good. Our Server was a bit "dry" though.

Like other reviewers here, I have had good and bad experiences here. MTM is in a cursed location, of which the latest victim was the Burgundy Room. Not that location has too much to do with the place, just sayin it may be cursed... I digress. I've been here seven times now. The last four have been wonderful experiences. The problem, for me, was the variety of food. There's such a huge spread - from burgers, to flat breads to bar food to Certified Angus Steaks... what do you get? The first few times, I tried the burgers and the flat breads. In my opinion (and it looks like other's - Peter D - share it) the bun on the Miller Burger is just too much. It weighs 2 pounds and is just... excessive. Another time, I tried a flat bread with chicken and watermelon.. while it looked pretty, it just wasn't meant to be. Lets switch to what does work: Steaks, Appetizers and desserts. Holy cow do they ever. The CAB Meat is top-notch, and they do a good job searing and cooking to order. Try the blackened versions for some spicy goodness added to your steak. Appetizers - fish nachos, Peter D is spot on. It's Tuna (raw) with giant bread chips drizzled with wasabi sauce and soy sauce... so freaking good. Desserts: I've had the brulee, cheese cake, key lime and carrot cake. Most of these are purchased from Sysco, some made at a local bakery - all are tasty and well executed. Deep flavors, rich taste and smooth finishes. So, don't treat this place as a bar. Treat it like a steak house and visit. You won't regret it. Oh, lastly - service: I have yet to experience a long wait. Took my family (4 people total) on a Friday night and we got right in, seated on the patio. Hannah, the waitress did a great job with the kids as well as our drinks, despite the busy night and many tables. Food was delivered correctly and very timely, and bill was too. All-in-all, a great experience.

One of my favorite restaurants! They have a great beer selection and their food is amazing everytime I go there! My favorite thing on the menu is their salmon with sticky rice and vegetables, by far the best salmon I've had at any restaurant. I would also recommend their pretzel bites as an appetizer! Both of the locations are great!

Went there for restaurant week. Ordered the salmon and the cheesecake and some type of soup. Salmon was very good, and the cheesecake was awesome. One of only 4 desserts I will eat all year and glad I did. There portion sizes are huge, based on what my friends ordered. Very attentive waiter, and the place was packed so make a reservation on the weekends.

Only been once, but I am definitely a fan! Fantastic flat breads, and a blueberry basil martini to die for!!! A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth a special evening visit.

I happened to stumble upon this place as the a friend I was tagging along with had plans to meet an enormous party for seven people all celebrating birthdays, plus everyone they know (it seemed). The parking lot was the first indication that this place was going to be packed...drove around for 15 minutes "parking lot sharking" for a spot. Once inside, speculations were confirmed, tons of people. I am all about ladies night specials but all the qualifying specials were for the bar area, the same bar area where I couldn't breathe, had to set my purse at my feet because it was taking up too much room on my shoulder and couldn't hear my friends standing 4 feet away from me. We needed to escape the mayhem and got a table (a promised 45 minute wait that turned into an hour and 15 minute wait) which voided the ladies night offers, booooo. The evening ended up being special only because of my friends...oh and our server Chad. He took great care of us and judged us well enough to pinpoint just the right amount of interaction between him and our group. He was quite charming and pleasant. The food was good. I enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the mushroom flatbread for dinner...I ate the whole huge thing because it was super cheesy, which happens to be my favorite thing in the world. This particular night, atmosphere kinda killed it for me. Between the birthdays, ladies night and some beer event, there were just too many people to enjoy the entire experience, but I would go back and try some of the other menu items that seemed worthy of a return, like the Ahi Tuna flatbread and asparagus lasagna.

Trip 2: Read below. I will agree with Jarrod N. in that the wait to get food here can be long. While that may be a problem if you have pressing plans after lunch or dinner, I almost enjoyed it because I had an open schedule. I also stayed away from the pub chips and tried the fish nachos. Forget the burger, forget the flat bread, forget the bar. Fish nachos are hands down worth the trip to this place alone. I'm sorry if there was a fancier name for them, but i was too busy gushing over how good they were to look at the menu again. The tomato bisque soup was good, and even better with the crackers. I also went with a newport draft and that was nice to have during the wait. The burger is good, but I've come to the conclusion that the bun is too much, and if you can thin down the amount of bread to the point where it becomes manageable its a good sandwich. My gf got cajun chicken sandwich and matt's salad. The seasoning on the chicken was excessive, but i guess if you're into cajun food you're ready for that. Salad was good too. In the end the atmosphere and blend of food and expo, and extensive bar make for a nice night out if dinner is the focus of the night. Again, its clear the owner pays attention to his customers, and to me thats the biggest plus. Old review: The place looks really nice inside, but the food was a over hyped let down. I'd suggest avoid the deep fried pub chips, which i thought were on the dry side and too filling for only two people. Maybe an option better left for 3 heavy eaters or more. I wouldn't say the experience was bad, but it wasn't what i was expecting with all the high praise this place gets. I'll give it another shot just to be fair, but round one was a fail. I've been contacted by the ownership, and I always view it as a good sign when people care enough about their product to conduct followup's and look for ways to improve.

Been here a few times and always have a good meal. I'd give it a five, but the employees seemed stressed. They don't give bad service. They just always seem on the edge, like they are trying hard to not fail. If they could just relax a bit, this place would be a five star.

My oh my, how I love figs & proscuitto! Having just caught the tail end of an add for Matt The Miller's Tavern on Columbus Underground just earlier yesterday, I clicked the link to the restaurant's website & was sold! The hubz & I made our way to Dublin & ordered the Fig & Proscuitto Flatbread: Brie, figs, toasted almonds, arugula, & proscuitto, followed by the Bacon Burger for me & the monstrous The Miller burger for my husband. The Miller runs a close comparison to a Thurman Burger in size. According to my husband, it was worth the $12.50 it cost to devour the thing with 3 cuts of a knife & some fork action to finish it off, & was overflowing with the fulfillment of hunger pains even the most starved person could ever experience. My Bacon Burger was good, but not cooked to order (medium rare), so that was a bit disappointing, but the Espresso Martini made up for the lack of burger. My big burly man of a husband even enjoyed the otherwise ladylike martini with it's Van Gough Double Espresso vodka, Jameson Irish whiskey, & Kahlua & coffee. We'll be back soon to try the Chipotle Shrimp Flatbread: Cilantro pesto, chipotle grilled shrimp, tasso ham, tomatoes, pepperjack & lime sour cream. (My mouth is watering just typing this review! And the Blueberry Basil Limoncello: Blueberry vodka, Limoncello, basil & soda water sounds just as scrumptious. Be sure to check out their special promotions: Happy Hour, Winedown Wednesdays, Ladie's Night Thursdays & Brunch! I'm sure I'll be back to enjoy the warm weather patio too!

Very good appetizers of Pub Chips and Pretzel Bites (fantastic horseradish dip) Above average beer selection on tap, though haphazardly labeled, double check your drink order. LOUD in bar, good sports viewing environment.

I give this place a thumbs up because there aren't that many great options on Perimeter Loop. I think their flatbreads -- what they are supposed to be known for -- are just OK. I'm just not a flatbread fan, I think. They're filet, however, was amazing. PLUS, great bar atmosphere. Best option in the near proximity for a lively bar (30+) and good chow. Decor and servers are great. Carry out is hit and miss. Sometimes it can be reaaaally slow.

Matt the Milers, sounds like a grain farm right? Not so, unless your talking about some hops! This place has a pretty good selection of American craft beers. I'm talking about IPA's people. This, dare I say gastropub, was a pleasant find, being from out of town and less than 7 minutes away from my hotel. The decor is stylish, the staff is attentive and very kind, the food is outstading and edgy, did I mention free wifi? If your slick and in the bar boths there is power underneath the table. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Whoever came up with and stays on top of food quality clearly takes pride in what they are serving. I had the stir fried Edamame with garlic and ginger to start and the cajon chicken sandwich. I'm kind of a health nut so I usually don't eat bread, but it wasn't slathered in sauce it was just enough to make it flavorful, awesome. The side salad was great to. It contained some sort of candied walnuts (which I usually hate any kind of walnut) and dried apricots, super tasty. I'm definitely going here again before I leave Dublin Ohio and you, reader, should give it a shot as well if you like good beer and a great food. Zach

I went last Friday night with a reservation, so the tons of people waiting for a table didn't affect me. The place is very nice, but a little too loud for me. We had a party of 8 and the people at the ends of the table couldn't hear each other or the conversations which was annoying. I had the asparagus lasagna which was fabulous, I just wish they offered free bread before the meal to enjoy.

I have been here many times and everything is always delicious. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails and the bar area is great for a couple drinks and appetizers. I would highly recommend the pretzel bite app but warn you that they are addicting. The shrimp and grits appetizer is also delicious. Their fish & chips, jerk chicken, flatbreads....everything is great. Only downside is it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. They also have a small outdoor area with about 8 tables. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Really love the lunch combo for $8.99. Half a flatbread with soup or salad! Great choices and not the same old same old- like the creamy mushroom flat bread, avavado and Chicken, and the ahi tuna wontons! Absolutely best tomato basil soup in town. Only reason 4 instead of 5 is the location is a bit hard to get to but it was well worth it! Enjoy!

While the Grandview location is good the Dublin location is slightly better. Had to find fault here as the food and service is very good. I have never had anything that was not very good here. Favorites are the Matt's and Miller Burger which are always cooked to order and arrive that way. If you order it medium rare it will arrive that way. Cannot go wrong with the Combo Plates. This place has a few must haves: #1 The Spicy Tuna Wontons. (If you like Sashimi do not miss this and you can order it for yourself as a meal) #2 Bavarian Pretzel Bites are the best pretzel appetizer i have had and comes very hot. #3 Matt's Salad and honorable mention is the Pacific Rim Calamari. Everything is good so you will not be let down.

Matt the Millers -- take two. So, I have come to the conclusion that I am not going to ever be happy with the wait at this establishment. As I mentioned in my first review I think that the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. This however, does not make up for the wait time for our food. We(my wife and I) took my in-laws, who are from out of town, here for a lovely dinner out. We choose Matt the Millers for the variety (i.e. more fish and vegetables options then most restaurants - which is definitely a plus for my in-laws and my own parents). In the entire place there may have only been 50 people or so, there was no waiting to get in. Today being a Sunday and a holiday weekend there really was no one around. Our Server was fairly prompt, but once again we waited an awful long time for our food. Our entire meal without dessert took just a bit over an hour. Remember, I said this place was not packed, we could talk at a normal level and hear one another. An hour is not terrible if you have no where else to go. The one difference, for me, this time is that all the food was warm and very tasty, even if my burger was still a bit too dry for my taste. My Conclusion is that the food is good, but you must be willing to wait, and do not make any plans immediately following. Yes, I would/will eat there again because the food and atmosphere were nice, but I will just be more prepared to wait, and it won't be frequently. If you read nothing else here is the quick breakdown Pros: texting instead of pagers(very cool) Well Designed Friendly Staff Good Variety of foods and Drinks Cons: Wait time for food

This slightly above scale restaurant is a pretty good bet for a nice night out. The atmosphere is cozy but professional, servers have been courteous and attentive, and the food tends to be creative twists on American staples. We have been here three times, twice it was amazing and the third time the meals were a little sub-par. Still, I wouldn't hesitate to go there tonight. Great beer selection as well.

Love this place! The atmosphere is so cool. The patio is small but very nice. I love the blueberry basil lemoncello martini. The flatbreads are very yummy. I particularly like the wild mushroom and ahi tuna flatbreads. The pacific rim calamari is very delicious. Portion sizes are pretty big so I recommend sharing.

We had a wonderful dinner at Matt the Miller's in Muirfield last night. The blue cheese potato chips were really good. I had the Miller's Salad and it was soooo good. I can't wait to go back to get it again. The service was great too. We loved it.

I've eaten here 4 times (had myself convinced that I'd just made poor ordering choices on my first three). Now I've decided that the place just isn't as good as it should be given the location, price, and atmosphere. Service has been slow for each visit. I've tried two of the flat-breads (nothing special), the fried fish (below average, and can't begin to compare to Old Bag of Nails), and the hamburger. If you want a great Pub food, there are many choices in the area (Rusty Bucket, Brazenhead, Mary Kelly's). On a positive note, there is a great beer selection here and a room that can be easily configured for parties of a dozen or more people.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I had the Salmon with a kick that I wasn't expecting. Best of all, the Dark Chocolate Mousse was so sinfully delicious, I wanted to lick the remnants from the entire cup and go back in the kitchen and kiss the chef. It was the best dessert I've ever had! Great choice for the 614Restaurant Week!

OK , I was too harsh on a previous review. I will go back to see if my concerns have been addressed. This is so close to home, it is a perfect place for us to visit. I understand the owner also owns Tucci in downtown Dublin, which I can not say enough great things about. Stay posted and you will hear from me soon!
