One only two Wendy's left in Columbus that still serve breakfast. I love the sausage and egg breakfast burritos.

The service here is way beyond the standard for a fast food joint, and it really does have a neighborhood feel to it. The employees are happy and good natured, they deliver the food quickly, and even small talk sometimes. The people who work here really appreciate their jobs and that makes a big difference! It's a little embarrassing how much I like this Wendy's :) Also, Free Wi-FI

A really easy way to pad my review count would be to write something about every Wendy's in town. I'll refrain, but since this one is a particularly good location I'll write a short review to note the fact and to proclaim my love for Wendy's chili! It's pretty much the only fast food I eat apart from Subway, and what people don't realize is how healthy it is. A large chili has something like 320 calories, 28 grams of protein, 9 grams of fat, and 8 grams of fiber, making it a very balanced meal from a macronutritional standpoint, not to mention that it's absolutely delicious as well!

Food quality varies. Just bought a burger earlier that was marinating in a quarter inch of grease that bled through the carton and onto my table, disgusting! Fries were good, at least.

Okay, so, yeah, normally I wouldn't dream of reviewing a Wendy's. It's only just barely better than McDonald's. Ubiquitous, disgustingly delicious and wantonly unhealthy, it's one of the Big Three burger chains and what more really needs to be said about any of them? Well, true. And this is, really, just another Wendy's. But the details, man- the details made this place absolutely unique. A truly unique Wendy's. To begin with, this place is really nice looking. Clean, bright- this is the newer model of Wendy's. Not the arched, tinted glassways of old or the dim lights and newspaper prints on the table of the 80s. These are the house-ier looking, pastel things they put up as Wendy's now. It's charming in an ugly, Little Boxes kind of way. The service here was friendly if not quite quick, but as I sat down to the meal I noticed something weird: this was, hands down, the best Wendy's food I had ever eaten. Now I've eaten a lot of Wendy's. They're my favorite fast food chain, my standby. But this food was unbelievably good for a Wendy's. My double cheeseburger had two patties that, while thin like most Wendy's patties, had some actual thickness to them- and they were juicy and delicious. The cheese between them was perfectly melted, and the tomato, onion, and lettuce on top were all crisp, juicy, and noticeably good for a Wendy's. And then there were my french fries- so fresh-cooked that they were too hot to eat at first, and unsalted so I could really control the flavor with my own application of salt and pepper. No Wendy's deserves five stars, ever, period- I don't care if they slip fifty dollar bills into each sandwich. But this was the closest I can ever see the chain getting. I still feel like it was all some horribly great streak of luck, but I'd take the chance again. The only complaints I have are the following: first, the ketchup was pretty bad. I don't know what was wrong with it, but I had to stop dunking my fries because it just tasted off. Secondly, the music, sweet Jesus, the music. The music was awful, awful, awful. Lite jazz, Kenny G, a horrible elevatorish cover of the Beatles' "Yesterday." It was painfully bad. Horrible. And part of me thinks, somehow, that they play it to disgust away any kids and youth from the surrounding neighborhoods. Maybe I'm cynical, and it's a horrible tactic to imagine. It certainly made me leave quicker than I wanted. Yes, the music was bad enough to drive me out of the best Wendy's ever.
