Can't see what the fuss is about. Sauce is good but the chicken, without it, is flavorless and dried up. Popeye's is just a bit further so I'd rather go there.

I got the caniac, and while I have probably had better tenders overall, these were still pretty good. My husband really liked the breading. We were both indecisive about the sauce. Like we weren't sure we liked it, but we couldn't stop eating it haha. We both really liked the Texas toast. I don't care why it's there. It's delicious. And honestly, it's a pretty good deal for the amount of food you get in my opinion. I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow, which is always nice.

For the price you can't beat it! I mean even going to a nicer establishment you won't find chicken fingers like canes. I'm not a big fast food person but canes is very good and I would recomend it to anyone.

As Doc says in his review this Raising Canes location stands out among the rest in Columbus. It's always clean, food is cooked perfect and the portions are never too small, staff is friendly and upbeat and they don't make order mistakes. On top of that I often bring the kids here to eat and don't partake as I'm on a low carb diet and a lot of times they offer me a free drink which has never happened anywhere else. If you've never been to Canes it is pretty much the Chipotle of Chicken Fingers. They do one thing and they do it extremely well. Fresh never frozen chicken, marinated so it's juicy and cooked to order so you might have to wait a few mins if they are busy. You won't find an array of BBQ or dipping sauces here, in fact they only serve their house made "Canes Sauce" and a honey mustard that's not on the menu. Most meals come with a garlic toast which is absolutely a must. The crinkle cut fries are excellent and if you get a big meal you will get some awesome cole slaw and being from WV where we eat a lot of cole slaw I know slaw so trust me when I says it's good. Canes is hardly ever a let down and probably the best fast food in town right up there beside chipotle.

It's chicken, and it's in one form: tenders, either as they are or on a sandwich. I will say they do it very well and keep the meat pretty moist for all white meat. They only offer three sides - coleslaw, fries, and Texas toast. The coleslaw could be a little sweeter, and the fries are pretty boring. The Texas toast is awesome and so is the Cane's sauce. All locations offer great customer service and this one is no exception. The dining area was a little smaller than other locations I've been to.

Probably the best fried chicken in Columbus, no matter which location you go to (haven't triedHot Chicken Takeover yet). Very simple menu and delicious sweet tea (lots of sugar!). Their chicken is very fat and juicy, never dry, and comes with their amazing specialty sauce. Their combos come with cole slaw, fries, and a slice of toast. Their toast is soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, SO GOOD! I don't like their fries though...it's soft, mushy, and just looks...limp and sad. If you are in Columbus, this is a must-visit place!

This is the one place where you go for the sauce (and perhaps the texas toast). The chicken is a delivery vehicle for the sauce, but it is good in its own right too. Gotta get two toasts when here, and pray that the chicken is cooked just right, not too dry or too chewy, when its in the just right zone, it can't be beat. The young staff here have fun, and that's good that its a laid back atmosphere. Be prepared to snag a table as soon as you see one open since they go quickly during peak meal times. One thing I like about this place too is that they treat their employees pretty good, including closing down the restaurant for major holidays, and even some minor ones. Good for them, that makes me want to support this place even more.

Been to other Cane's locations around Cbus and can say this one is a stand out among them. First off, this place is on the NE corner of the very busy Sawmill & Powell Road intersection and not very easy to get in and out of if you are not familiar with the area, many turn restrictions abound. During my short time dining there I saw a real circus of people making wrong turns and other questionable driving choices. With that caveat out of the way,a warm semi-robotic greeting as you enter a nice open dining room with a choice of booths and tables, self serve drinks (love their sweet tea)and the order counter. The friendly dude working the counter was delivering orders to tables while I was there, a plus in my book over the usual mulling around like waiting cattle with others for their orders. Big fat juicy chicken fingers are the norm here and these did not disappoint and are always the star of the meal. I'm not a fan of their crinkle/shoestring hybrid fries but that's just my preference when it comes to my beloved taters. Decent fresh diced slaw that's not overly sauced and gives that nice contrast to the fried foods. And the grilled Texas toast, for those of you that ask Why? It's for sopping up every drop of that Cane's sauce from those little cups! Yes, the sauce is good, addictive? Well that's debatable but it pairs well with the food here. To sum up, this franchise op is well worth seeking out if you're in this part of town for the chicken strip lover young or old. Clean, good food, friendly service...

Tasty fried chicken, not the best I have ever had but certainly the best nearby. There may be local sit-down places who can offer better, but I haven't found them yet. The sauce tastes interesting, not bad- but the Texas Toast is what does it for me. Staff that I encountered in the drive thru seemed upbeat and well-behaved, this is very important to me no matter where I go. I have nothing bad to say about this place, except that one guy seemed put off by the fact that a person ahead of me asked for fresh chicken. I understand dude... it was late, but hey- they are the customer. But overall, this is one of my favorite places to get quick and tasty fast food- I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. In this day and age the price is definitely right for what you get here, a good sized portion of food that won't cost an hour of your pay. (unless you work in the fast food industry LOL) Try the Caniac!!!

What's there not to like about Cane's? Delicious fried chicken, scrumptious toast, and crunchy fries? It's great for quick food and especially drunk food for those that want something to eat after drinking. Cane's sauce is soooo good! I also like getting the 3 finger combo since it's a lot of food. I always get half sweet tea and half regular tea mixed.

How can you not love this place? I guess if you're vegetarian or vegan, but then again, they don't cater to that market. Every time I've come to this location, the staff has been fast and friendly (even when the front is packed), the chicken has been hot and juicy, the bread is warm and toasty, and the sauce is the boss, as always. It is what it is - chicken fingers and crinkle cut fries. Nothing complex. No catering to "add more to the menu." They're just damn good chicken fingers.

It is what it is. Chicken Strips, Toast, Slaw, and Fries. Thats what they serve. The food is always consistant, good and priced reasonable. The fries are ok and the bread ahould be buttered when it comes out. The chicken is very good and the majic sauce is awesome. The staff is always friendly teenagers. For what it is I like it just fine.

  • Laura C.

Gave them another try. Chicken still soggy/greasy/under fried. On the plus size they now sell items al a carte. Chicken fingers are $1.09 each. Their "special sauce" didn't taste as good as I remembered it. Very mayo-y and peppery. Wish they had other sauce flavor options besides their special sauce and ketchup. Couldn't find a fork anywhere to eat the coleslaw. Don't anticipate being back any time soon.

Since when this location open up on Sawmill Rd? It's not a noticeable building and we just happened to stumble across it on the way to Bed, Bath and Beyond. We've heard of this place from friends but never had the chance to go grab a quick bite there until today. We ordered the CANIAC to share for under $9, and it came with: 6 chicken fingers Sides: extra fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, 2 canes sauce, & large drink For a fast food joint, the chicken fingers are crispy and succulent. Standard sides and I do recommend their brewed sweet tea. It's not the generic sugar water tea mix you get elsewhere.

  • Mike C.

Whoever out there that is listening, bury me with a jar of Cane's Sauce so I can enjoy it in the hereafter! This stuff is the real deal. When you order The Box, go ahead and get yourself an extra one. Or better yet, steal some from your child's kids meal. Yes everything is a bit greasy and the coleslaw is lacking a certain kick to it, but there is a certain charm to the crinkle cut fries and the toast. This may sound strange, but I like the small menu and lack of options. Do one thing and do it great as they say. Plus it saves me from deliberating on too many choices. It makes reviews easy as well: I highly recommend the friend chicken and the fries!

Conclusion: If you want chicken tenders, go somewhere else to eat. Places like Dairy Queen, Chick Fil-A, Poppeyes, and Church's Chicken have significantly better chicken tenders. In addition, at those other places you can choose from a variety of dipping sauces which suit your needs on that day - unlike Canes. If you want something else besides chicken tenders, definitely do not eat here because that's pretty much all that they have. Summary of major complaints: (1) under-cooked chicken; (2) too limited of a menu; (3) lack of dipping sauces. This week I finished my second trip here in one year. It was the last time I will eat at Canes. Both times I ate inside. The first time they ran out of Texas toast, which is surprising because its one of the main ingredients/items that they sell. How do you let that happen? Whoopsies. BOTH TIMES THE CHICKEN WAS UNDER-COOKED. The first time it was darn close to raw in the middle. The second time, it was a little better, but still under-cooked. The chicken tenders are also too greasy. The fries are avg., both times served around room temperature. The coleslaw, ehhh, not that impressive. SAUCES: I asked what sauces they had and was informed that other than ketchup they only had one sauce, some secret red sauce akin to a mix of ketchup and mayo with spices added. I was informed that "it would change my life". Well it did because I certainly won't be back. I wanted honey mustard or BBQ or something else. They didn't offer it and told me they didn't have anything else.. Forcing people to use their one secret sauce to dip their single product into is a game changer and terrible business strategy. If they had another dipping sauce, I "might" think about going back if I was in a pinch and had a really strong desire for chicken tenders. But then again, I can't forget about having below average chicken tenders that were under-cooked every time I've been there. Not going back.

Sure it's a tad spendy for what you get, but I challenge you to find a better fried chicken chain ANYWHERE. Cane's does it right every time at every location. Moist, tender chicken inside a crispy breading that has the perfect - PERFECT - amount of seasonings; cool, creamy coleslaw; perfectly-seasoned crinkle-cut fries; Texas toast...OMNOMNOM. Oh, can't forget the Cane's Sauce. That stuff goes with everything. Screw ketchup! I'd never been to this location until the other night, and my expectations were high. This isn't KFC or McDonald's, folks. I get pretty peeved if some scummy burger joint screws up my order. I don't throw a tantrum over it, but I am thoroughly distrustful of those places. If you've ever been inside a Cane's restaurant, you know it's not even the least bit scummy. Quite the opposite. Sure we're still dealing with the high school and college-age kids, but Cane's seems to treat their employees better, so they're more likely to care about serving their customers. But heck, with food this good, who would be pissed about a mix-up? My wallet might cry or rejoice, and my stomach might go to bed a little less full than planned, but why cry when you're still getting the best chicken around? We didn't go inside and opted to go through the drive thru since it was moving. My order was processed in fantastic time (less than 5min spent in the drive thru total!) and the kids working the drive thru were not only efficient, but friendly. Work ethic AND customer service at once! I love it! I need a new car. I know where I want to spend my lunch breaks.

So happy we got one of these right on Sawmill! Love the juicy, lightly breaded chicken fingers and delish garlic bread! 3 finger combo ALL THE WAY! And cheap too. There is a super fast and convenient drive through, for when you are in a rush. The only problem I encountered was this past Sunday we went here (after discovering the Chic A Filet on Sawmill is CLOSED SUNDAYS!) and there was not a place to sit in the entire joint. There is just a little seating inside and no patio outside to accommodate overflow. Every table was taken. There were probably 10-12 of us in line and when they asked "for here or to go" everyone around me ordering was like, uh, i guess its to go. People were eating it in their cars. Its was 95 degrees! Ew, As I mentioned before super yummy, but my true loyalties still lie with Chick A Filet. Those milkshakes cannot be beat.

I just moved to the area from PA; org from north jersey. That said....WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN MY INTIRE LIFE!? We got here on Sat and have been here 5 days so far and have already eaten here 2x, and probably again tonight. I have never had chicken taste so pure or so juicy..or so good...EVER! I love chicken, doesnt matter how you cook it, as long as it is not dried out or stringy I will eat it; usually it's ok. Before going to Cane I thought the best ways to eat it were in wing form or fried from KFC. WRONG! Serisouly Cane...why arent you all over the east coast yet? My people would die to have you! Put a store on every street corner like they did for Dounkin Dounuts and Star Bucks! Jersey has enough coffee places for the whol freakin country, PLEASE take them from us and build your stores! My husband and I showed up on Sat, walked in..looked like 2 lost puppies and asked the guy at the counter to suggest something since we have no idea what to do. Basically they have 4 things you can get: the box (whihc is the most popular thing) which is 4 strips, fries, coleslaw, and garlic bread, the 3 strip version, the 6 strip version called the Caniac, or the sandwhich which just comes with 2 stips and fries. We've had all of them. I cant get enough of this chicken. It's lightly breaded, whole strips of chicken. Take a breast, cut it, fry it...thats it. No processed crap, no machines, just made-to-order goodness that is Canes. The best thing on their menu by far is their Cane sauce. So perfect even me, the perfectionist, cant do anything to make it taste better.

Good chicken, but a little greasy for my taste. That being said, it IS "fried chicken," so what's my problem, anyway... The toast is good and the "Caine Sauce" is great - nice tang to it - for both the chicken, and (call me gross) I dipped the toast in it. However, this isn't someplace I could come back to on a frequent basis without feeling like a total slime ball.

This place was built in a day, and opened the next day. I think this place went up faster than the Chickfila down the street, and that was pretty fast! But anyway, I went here for fries, since I'm a fry connoisseur and I make it a point to try out the fries at every restaurant I go to. How can I put this gently? After eating just 3 fries, I wanted to slice my tongue off with a dragon's infected toenail and bury it in the Vatican. It seems like they just opened up a bag of Aldi's frozen crinkle cut fries, grabbed a tiny handful, fried it in way too hot oil, then unscrewed the cap of a salt container and dumped the entire thing on top. Literally. There was so much salt on these fries that my lips started to peel when I was halfway through eating. There was so much salt that when I lifted the styrofoam container, I heard a shaking sound from the sodium granules shifting. There was so much salt, I had to brush off each piece before I ate it, which left the entire area I was sitting coated in salt. I think my blood pressure shot up 90 points after finishing. Yes, I finished them. They might have been rock hard, dry, bland, and too salty, but I did pay for them. I took my punishment like a champ. I can only recommend this place if you're looking for a lip exfoliating treatment on the cheap.

I experienced the best chicken fingers of my entire life here. The moment I bit into the juicy, perfectly breaded, quality chicken I knew Raising Cane would have a special place in my heart. Not only is the chicken awesome, it is served with a tasty sauce. I recommend getting the combo meal that comes with crisp french fries and perfect butter toasted bread. If only there was a raising cane's in my hometown...

Every time I've been to any Raising Cane's, it's been a great experience. The chicken is always tasty, hot and juicy, sauce and sides are good too. Most of all, though, the service is always incredibly fast and friendly. I don't know what you guys do to keep all of your employees so enthusiastic, but I love it!

Can't see what the fuss is about. Sauce is good but the chicken, without it, is flavorless and dried up. Popeye's is just a bit further so I'd rather go there.

Raising Canes is one of the Best places to get Chicken fingers, Toast is pretty good to and the Cane's sauce is pretty good as well.
