Great comfort foods, fish and steaks. Been coming here for years.

Food was ok. Servers not very attentive. Had to keep waiting for drinks and cable check backs only happened once. Which makes it difficult when we needed napkins. They were on a 45 minute wait, yet there were at least 15 open tables. I find this unacceptable for a Sunday afternoon directly following church. Table booths were dirty with dried food. My son wanted desert, but we were never asked. The server just dropped the check and left so we did not even have the chance to ask her for it. I felt it was one of the most poorly managed O'charleys I have been to. Normally, this concept is dependable. Unfortunately, this location is not.

My husband wanted to go to O'Charley's tonight because he was jonesing their tater tots, and I wanted to go because it's close to home and I didn't want to be out all night. Bad move. We sat at the table for at least 30 minutes without anyone even coming to take our drink order, so we finally left. I tried going to their website to leave a comment about the lack of service, but their site doesn't have a place to leave feedback. I guess they really don't care about what their customers think.

First off, my wife and I almost always eat at the bar where ever we go just in the fact that the servers are always right in front of you. If there is more than one bartender, they are usually happy to help if your server is away. That being said, there are still good and bad bartenders. We find O'Charley's are top-notch, at all the locations we've been to. On our most recent trip, we went they Saturday afternoon before Mothers Day. I asked for PGA on the TV and the server jumped right on it. He made me a great Margarita with Cabo Reposado. You could taste all the flavors. Very well made. My wife had a very tasty Strawberry Lemonade with Pinnacle Vodka. For an appetizer, she ordered the Tater-Tot Fondue. I'm not much of a "tot" fan, but these were some good tots! The cheese sauce was sharp with bacon, scallions, and shredded cheese. Sour cream accompanied all. For dinner, we opted for the full cut Prime Rib, Medium Rare. This is where there was a blatant error. One of the apparently hungover kitchen staff sent out 2, not even debatably close, well-done, gray pieces of meat. How someone could miss that is beyond my comprehension. However, our server picked up on our dismay immediately and had our meals before us in no more than 5 minutes. It Was Perfect! I don't know how I could say it was the best Prime I've ever had, as I've eaten at the best of restaurants, but it was right in there. No gristle, no stringy fat, no tough portions. The only thing disquieting about the meal was that the asparagus wasn't trimmed at the ends and was fibrous and inedible. The star of the show, however, was well worth the price of admission.

My bride ordered the Cowboy Sirloin well done and it came that way, she was pleased. I ordered the new Swiss? steak with green beans. The Steak was ordered medium well and it came hockey puck style, so tough I could hardly cut it much less chew it. Normally the food is excellent but in this visit it was not up to par. Service was excellent, the waiter was very good. Fire the cook!

Unusually busy I thought for this late. Still, no more than ten minute wait. Waiter was super attentive. Drinks and food were great, as per usual. No complaints and had a great experience. Will be back next time I'm in the mood for some roast beef. Yummy!

An increased star on my second visit! Food was better, much better. I ordered cedar-planked salmon again, with broccoli and mashed potatoes without the bacon, all came delivered piping hot and delicious Our server was very good. The atmosphere was so much quieter and the temperature was quite right to enjoy the experience. Good for a chain, and we left contentedly full. That's what it's all about!

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I refuse to ever visit this place again after several visits of very bad service and several of not good food. Chef Boy Ar Dee would of been better. Very very inconsistent restaurant, take your chances-could be satisfactory and then again, maybe not!

Hit or miss I have been to this location five times now and only one visit was good. There is always something that goes wrong. The first time I was there for brunch and our food took over an hour. It was served to us cold. The second time I was there, it was okay but I had to send back my fries because they were limp and soggy, like they had been cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough. Visit number three was average. Decent food, decent service. Number four was awful! Our server didn't even greet us or take our drink orders until we had been sitting in our booth for 10 minutes. We didn't get rolls until we asked for them when our food arrived 40 minutes after we ordered it. The kicker? The steak I ordered medium well was so burnt that I couldn't even cut into it. It looked and felt like a hockey puck. When I finally flagged down our server and told her she said, "yeah, I saw that..." Seriously?! Then why did you serve it to me?! The saving grace was the manager who comped my meal and apologized profusely. Our last visit was pleasant. The steak was good, the fish was great and our server got us everything we asked for with a smile. I will probably go back... I guess I'm a glutton for punishment

We've visited O'Charley's twice in the past month. First time was a Friday night for dinner, and everything came out great. I tried the California Chicken Salad, and it was delicious. My date had the tenders, which looked really good (almost exactly like Cane's); she ended up enjoying them. The second time was for lunch on a Wednesday, and I tried the Classic Cobb Salad, which was pretty good...I just enjoyed the California Chicken a bit better. Date had the steak and tenders. While she had ordered the steak at medium-rare, it came out a little beyond well-done. Even the waitress seemed shocked by the doneness and offered to take it back for a new one. The second steak came out at medium, but we didn't want to make a fuss over it so she ended up eating it. Steak turned out tasty, along with the tenders. Also, Wednesday is free pie day, so you get a free slice with any entrée! Can't go wrong there! If only they had lemon meringue....

Dropped in here with a friend for lunch and was fairly impressed overall. It had been a few years since I had been in this location and they have done a major remodel job. A large Columbus themed mural wrapped around the interior and they closed off the kitchen windows. Quickly seated in a comfy large booth during a fairly busy lunch service we didn't have to wait long before our server was there to take our drink and appetizer orders. Got an order of the Spicy Jack Cheese Wedges to start off. Ahhh those wonderfully fried spicy, melty, cheesy wedges, served with a side of warm marinara and probably as close to cheese nirvana as I'll ever be. I went South by Southwest and got the Chicken Fried Steak with snausage gravy and cheesy bacon smashed taters (yes, I got my weeks cheese serving in one meal). My friend got a perfectly cooked to order Louisiana Sirloin and grilled asparagus. Paired up with great friendly service this was quite an enjoyable dining experience. Yeah, I'll be back again for more cheesiness, the good kind...

5 stars is for service. We were treated like royalty from the time we sat down until we left. Large menu. Good food. Good pie.

Did you know O'Charley's does Sunday brunch?? Well, they do and it's yum! Went there on a Sunday with another couple and got seated immediately. Attentive service and good menu selections! There was something for everyone. One must have: DONUTS! fresh fried, in a paper bag, with cinnamon and sugar and a dipping glaze. Amazing item to share with the table! Everything that our group ordered was cooked correctly and was tasty to say the least. Drink were kept refilled (A+ for a brunch). I liked O'Charely's for dinner, but I think it was even better for brunch. Less crowded, less rushed, food was just as good or better, we were happy. I hope to go back again soon, but sometimes it's hard to wait til 11 to eat.

They should call this place"No Charlie's" Mediocre ingredients produce Mediocre Food. I won' even go after the waitress who was sweet but never there when you need her but always there when you don't. Ribeye Steak had bitter char marks when ordered medium rare. Ranch dressing on side salad tasted watered down. When a manager approached and asked if my dinner was excellent I replied " not exactly"!but he just walked away. No Charlie's...No more.

Worst take out ever! If you really want to enjoy the food here, eat it there!! The rolls were put into a paper bag and smashed under the food.. The food I ordered was awful.. The mashed potatoes were put into a styrofoam container and resembled KFC! The salad was warm and put in bags with hot food!! Never order on the carry out menu!!

This truly is a great neighborhood gathering place. Located at the crux of Morse and Hamilton Roads in the New Albany Square Shopping Center, this familiar franchise sparkles with the smiles of some very friendly servers. We actually prefer eating our meals at the bar. It's surrounded by the happiest people on the block and is always manned by a benevolent barkeep. Their menu doesn't stand out much from other American bistro chains, but we've never had a bad meal yet. I love their French Onion Soup. This may sound trivial, but this kind of soup is not easy to create and I've had many a disappointing French Onion Soup in my day. You can never go wrong ordering anything off their grill. That's what O'Charley's is famous for. I've had the Ribeye and I've had many of their famous Grilled Chicken entrees - all to my liking - juicy and succulent. I can't forget their salads - great selection and always fresh. Not only is their food great, their prices are very competitive. O'Charley's, like most of their counterparts, always provide discounts in their print advertising campaigns, so don't forget to leaf through the paper or go online to find a coupon. A discounted meal always tastes better!

It's a decent place. Pretty good menu, good staff. I'm usually happy with the food and if there's a problem it's fixed. My only repeat issue is some of the servers can be slow, but I tip based on service so no huge deal.

Tried it one time.. The best thing about it was the yeast rolls- those were fantastic and then some. The rest of the food tasted like it was fried in the same fryer. Others like it, but it's not for me..

One of my wife's favorite places. She alway gets the fries chicken salad. Iget the turkey burger. My one complaint is although they haveclosehandicapped parking, at least half of the spaces are taken by cars that do not have handicapped plates or stickers in the window. The managem won't do anythig to report the offenders or solve the problem. After pushing my Mother in a wheelchair, this gets my blood boiling.

The O' Charleys here is pretty awesome. The service is excellent and the food is pretty dang good. The waiters and waitresses are on their game at this location. Management even comes out to you and checks on you. The chefs even come out to check on you to make sure that you are enjoying your meal and the overall experience. So even if the food sucked which it does not, their customer service would definitely more than make up for it. Meal wise and the moment they have the 2 meals for 14.99. normally you get those types of deals at restaurants and they are not filling. But not at this O' Charleys. It is plentiful and not wasteful. Take it from me I eat a lot. A LOT! I would suggest the 2 meals for 14.99 and from there the Fish and Chips which are awesome. Oh the flavorful crust. and the Baja chicken there is awesome as well...
