Woke up randomly at 5 this morning and was starving. Woke my sister up, and we decided to go to McDonalds. We packed up our 2 huge dogs in the back of the SUV and went to the drive thru. I ordered the #1 and a hotcake platter. Service was great!..........But then we stopped by Buckeye donuts for a friend. When we walked out of the donuts shop, one of the dogs had decided to eat all of our breakfast. So we went back thru the drive thru and they remembered us,(it being only 10 minutes), asked why we were back and told them one of the dogs had got in the front seat, and ate all our food. The woman....sorry I did not get your name but it was 7/30/2015 working the drive thru around 5:15 a.m.. ....laughed told her manager, and they looked at the dogs, laughed, remade all our food for free. I am not a fast food person, but I will be going back there again. Not for free food because I will no longer take the dogs in the car with me. Guess they love McDonalds to much. But I just want to say thank you to you and everyone who served us this morning. BTW.........It was so good!!!! Thank you again to the staff at this location! You made our day!!!!!! Hope this gets back to you and your staff!!!! Thank you!!!!

I've been to this location three times. One time I pulled up, sat there for a few minutes, and no one took my order. It was really weird. So I just drove off. I don't want to be like "Umm...hello? Anyone there?" I feel like they'd hate me, and you don't want to piss people off who deal with your food. A few weeks after that I was in the area and stopped by because I was really craving some fountain Coke, and McDonald's has the best fountain drinks. I was the only one in line and no one took my order. What! Maybe they have a sign inside that says "DO NOT TAKE JACKIE'S ORDER, SHE EATS TOO MUCH JUNK FOOD AND MUST BE STOPPED." Who knows, but that's what I suspect. This past Friday I came by, and the damn line was almost to the street. I was super hungry, so I decided to get in line and deal with it. It took about 10 minutes until I was able to get my order in, then another several of waiting, but guess what! I finally got an order in after my last two visits were busts! 1/3 ain't too bad! I figure that lets me give them 2/5 stars. My fries were great...I should bump this up to 3/5 stars.

I am not actually at this McDonald's, I am down the street at a motel 25 minutes before their posted closing time. After being on a plane all day, I've forgotten to eat and have no snacks. However, it is freezing and I do not want to drive and have them be closed early, not knowing this town well. So I called.l and asked when they closed. The EXTREMELY RUDE lady on the phone just said "NOW" and hung up when I asked what time they closed. I had planned on stopping in there for breakfast and usually hit that McDonald's when I stay in German Village, but screw that. I could have been there in 5 minutes. I was even saying "ok, thank you" in the dead phone because that is my normal response. Just such a put off. Sorry MCDs. Lost this customer.

Pleasantly surprised today. I'm not in the area often, but stopped in for a grab 'n go breakfast meal. The location is a typical McDonald's fast food restaurant. Same fast food. Drive-thru service available. Easy in and out access from the street. Interior was open air and clean. It was nice to see folks leisurely enjoy their breakfast choice. Staff were efficient and helpful. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to what I ordered ... just look up at the menu board ... picked the number to a picture and asked for that one. I actually ordered the steak, egg and cheese biscuit meal. I was surprised to find the grilled onions that really added an extra flair to the breakfast sandwich -- quite tasty. The hash brown was a typical greasy fried potato. In all, its a typical McDonalds location and service, but you may want to try the new steak versions of breakfast sandwiches for something new and different.

If you're ever in the vicinity of downtown, skip the crappy McDonalds @ Main & Grant and drive south on High St to this location. The service is prompt and the food is always good. Its McDonalds, not a lot more to say than that.

Food is ok. Staff is not great. They always have boyfriends or friends hanging out and of course pay more attention to them then the customer. They actually barely speak to the customers at all. Boyfriends will jump in front of customers, hang over the counter.... anyway, not one of my favorite fast food places.

Looking past the homeless people that are often here, I like this McDonald's primarily because they have given me eleven mcnuggets instead of ten on three different occasions. Service is fast, ketchup is readily available and although the staff is loud, they are always in great moods. NEW - I wrote this a few weeks ago. As of this past week, 2/8/2013, it appears to be closed for remodeling. NEWER - Hip hip hurray! They are back open and making nuggets! 9/26/13 - down to two stars. With the remodel the inside is too crowded and the parking lot too small. You have to brave two rows of drive through traffic to get in and there is now only one way in...by blocking traffic on high and turning left.

This is one of the weakest McDonald's in the greater Columbus area. The salads are only good about 1 out of 3 times with most having yellowed if not brown lettuce in abundance. The drive-thru is mismanaged and allowed to back up for no reason at all different times of the day and employees including managers often display bad attitudes and abrupt responses. I'm totally giving up on this one permanently, it had improved for awhile but is back wallowing in substandard land again. Avoid or be disappointed. Update 05/26/13: Did I call it or what? This McDonald's had become so bad they had to tear it completely down and build a new one. Well, it's all shiny and new, but unfortunately the drive-thru is still a model of inefficiency and the food and service have not improved. For fast food in German Village Wendy's is always going to be your best bet, especially if you are looking for a fresh salad.
