Not only is the pizza top-notch, but the customer service is above and beyond. You can tell the employees love to help people. On the rare occasion an order is screwed up, the crew bends over backwards to make it more than right.

Always use fresh and good quality ingredients! I am not a fan of pepperoni pizza (don't judge me!). But I'm a fan of Mama Mimi's pepperoni pizza at least! I also like their house salad; delicious dressing and a very generous portion. Finally the TIRAMISU!!! The most authentic tiramisu EVER! Not too sweet, and effortless taste! Staff here are always very friendly, and often they offer trial-sized dishes - like lasagna, which is great by the way. You can't go wrong unless you mess up with baking :-p

my wife and I went in and got a pizza last night had the Honey-Wheat crust and it was GREAT!!! We also had Breadstix and I am not sure if my wife had any because I inhaled them I was dipping them in the Cesar Dressing. I don't even like Cesar dressing and this is the best dressing I have ever had!!!!! Becca helped us helped us and that's one of the biggest reasons why I am writing this, Not just because our pizza and breadstix were INCREDIBLE but her alone would keep me coming back. She was so friendly and helpful!!! Thank you so much for everything, if Becca reads this. You are great!! We are talking about getting pizza again tonight!!! THANKS

Not for me. Got the moltansanti and it was pretty bland. Got the breadsticks too but also, bland. Won't go back.

We were in the mood for some pizza and were tempted to pick one up at a well known chain. I'm glad I happened to notice Mama Mimis when I was searching. There were so many good sounding options to choose from and all the ingredients were high quality. It tasted so good coming right out of the oven. Great choice to class up the ol' pizza at home.

The Tuesday night pizza train pulled into Mama Mimi's this week. Tuesday pizza nights have become a routine of picking up a pie, letting the aroma get my taste buds going on the car ride home and then immediately popping the box open and devouring it with the wife in front of the TV with a glass of wine. As a creature of habit, Mama Mimi's presented a tough pill to swallow - no bar to sit at while I waited, no aroma on the ride home, no instant gratification. Instead, I had to preheat an oven and then do the "does it look done" routine after 8 minutes. Oh, then there's waiting for it to cool down, cutting it up and then, finally, the payoff.............. Mama Mimi's rates an A-plus for the selection and quality of toppings (and creativeness of pizzas on the menu). Gluten free is also a nice option. We had the pepperoni trio (with shrooms, of course). I figured we also had to try one of the "Award Winners", so we fired up a small Mama's Marmelletta Amore (great toppings, but the Gorgonzola was a little over-powering at times - a feta would've been my choice) . The sauce is quite good, not exceptional. Ratios are fine (maybe a little too much cheese/not enough sauce on the pep). The crust, while decent, just left me thinking "yep, that was take and bake" - nothing that was done in a wood-fired oven. If you're getting two mediums (or larger), you may have space issues in your oven . . . .I was able to cram the medium and the small onto one rack. I didn't want to stack the racks for fear of an uneven bake. If you're a fan of take and bake, give up the Papa Murphy's immediately and get into Mama Mimi's. Maybe I'm just too lazy for take and bake. Had the crust been spectacular, I could've been a convert. However, from now on, I'll stick to letting the restaurant do the cooking.

Had the rajun cajun and the pizza special "ba da bing". Both extremely mediocre. Not bad, but certainly won't have me craving it. In fact the more I think about it, I won't be back. ..

I love this location! Staff is alway friendly, the food always looks presentable, prices are fair, there is plenty of parking, and yes, the pizzas actually taste great! You can bake them up or throw them on the grill. Pick up one of their delicious salads and your meal is complete!

The meat lasagna is great. The staff was friendly. The ingredients always taste great. The best take and bake I have ever had.

I was coming back from Worthington and decided to give their Father's Day lasagna special a try. What I wasn't expecting was attractive (yes, cute boys) staff and a delicious Summer Spinach salad. We had the meatball lasagna (wish I had ordered the Veggie, but it wasn't my choice) so I could argue it was one of the plainer of lasagna's but it sure did pack flavor! The bread sticks weren't like ones I'm used to, but tasted good enough to eat. My only complaint is that the salad was so good, I had it eaten before we even made the lasagna the next night! It def. wasn't "family" size, but still tasted scrumptious with feta and spinach!

You ever heard the phrase "you are what you eat"? Well... this place is turning me in to a giant pizza with extra cheese and artichoke hearts. But at least its getting me off my tush to actually cook my own pizza. I've spent the last few years trying to find artichoke hearts like they have. I don't understand how they're so delicious. Nothing else compares. My mouth waters at the thought of them. Right.... this is about the place, not their ingredients elusive qualities... If I had to eat something every day, it would be from this place. Everything I've had from here is excellent. I almost always get a large pizza and their Caesar salad. It's got the most spectacular dressing. Unlike any other Caesar dressing I've ever experienced. My god, I need to go get this now.

I just LOVE Mama Mimi's! Not ONCE have I EVER had anything subpar here. They have nailed consistency in making their pies, which is great. You can always count on your favorite to be the same high quality, no matter when you go. Everything is delicious and the staff is always so nice! I especially love Mama's Marmelletta Amore!

Fantastic Pizza, Lasagna and Salads. Love this place and the staff is always super friendly and helpful! Service and food doesn't get any better than this place! Thanks for always providing the best!

The problem does not lie with the food --which is great--, it lies with the service. Unlike in previous years, where 10 pizzas earned you a free large cheese pizza in addition to any promotion, today, you are simply allowed one large cheese pizza. If you wish for a different pizza you must pay the difference and are not allowed any promotion that comes with paying. But perhaps worst of all, the young female manager who would inform you of such things, did so in the most condescending and bitchy way possible. Never pay full price for one of their pies.

Pretty good pizza, though nothing to scream about. Two one-topping pizzas for $10 is pretty hard to beat, price-wise, and the specialty pizzas are also good. I guess it's convenient and a little cheaper than buying the pizza pre-baked, but I'd almost always pick Hounddog's or Adriatico's (or even Pizza Hut) over Mama Mimi's.

I love you, Mama Mimi. When I'm too tired to cook, you are there for me with your fresh toppings and wholesome sauces. When I want that inexplicable tang that only your dough can provide, you are upon my tongue in a matter of minutes. When the only thing emptier than my wallet is my stomach, your Italian warmth is there to ease the pain. The pain of being a poor, hungry, and marginally employed twentysomething. No, seriously, I love this place. When I'm cruising for something fast but healthy that won't break the bank, Mama Mimi's is at the top of my list. I can still remember when I first moved to Cbus and some friends had me over for MM's. I was so impressed (thought they'd made it themselves); when I found out it was made by Mama Mimi, and I could get it for myself, on a regular basis, I was over the moon! Oh, and the last time we ordered a pizza and took it home and the dog ate it? They replaced it for free. Now THAT'S the kind of service that will keep me loyal to the place for as long as I am living in Columbus.

If you're looking for a "standard" pizza (pepperoni, cheese, sausage, etc.), walk-on by, there are PLENTY of other good options around town - and I DON'T mean chains like Donatos or Pizza Hut. The real pay-off here is in their "gourmet" topping options. Try taking advantage of them through the specialty pizza offerings, or better yet - design your own! Choices like green olives, artichoke hearts, fresh or roasted garlic, gorgonzola, ricotta, fresh mozzerella, sun-dried tomatoes, etc, etc. -- making your own creation out of these toppings is where you'll find the most benefit from Mama Mimi's. Add in one of their family-size Italian salads (the dressing is excellent!) and you've got a great meal.

two decent sized pizzas for $10 is a great deal. the only problem is that i tend to burn them. the people that work there are always nice and informative.

I've only ever had the specialty pizzas, and they are delicious! I don't remember the name of the pizza, but it has articokes, pesto, garlic, maybe sundried tomatoes? Whatever it is, it is yummy. The salads are also delicious. I recommend the spinach - the balsamic vinegiarette is great

What a fantastic pizza option. Was greeted kindly when I visited the store and they were very helpful with explaining the process and what everything was all about. For some reason I expected them to all be pre-made, just un-cooked. Nope. Completely made to order. Very cool. Taking it home and baking it myself was quite fun. Started off with some breadsticks, then threw the pizza in. Turned out fantastic. Sauce is good, the toppings are generous, and the crust crisped up very nicely. Sure you can get a regular take-out pepperoni for about the same price, but you really get a lot for the money if you bake it yourself!

If you're walking in to Mama Mimi's in search of inexpensive and instantly gratifying pizza, you're in for a sore disappointment: in most circumstances, Mama sells her pizzas uncooked. No wonder the staff is always standing around doing nothing! Once you wrap your mind around the D.I.Y. notion here, Mama Mimi's a sold choice if you're in search of gourmet pizzas at not-so-gourmet prices. Toppings like capers, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, scallions, and feta cheese make the menu truly one of a kind and worth the trip, even if there's still work left to be done when you get home. I recommend preheating your oven as soon as you leave to pick up the pizza so you'll be ready to bake in no time. Mama's also offers a variety of pizzas with pre-selected toppings that cannot be found anywhere else in the city. The parma pesto chicken is a personal favorite of mine, and the Wing Ding tastes so much like an actual buffalo wing that its almost freaky. For being considered "lighter" options, the "Spa" pizzas, such as the spinach Green Goddess or The Mediterranean, are amazing as well. The next time you're in the mood for pizza, I challenge you to get off your lazy ass, heat up the oven, and make a trip to Mami Mimi's. You won't regret it!

Phew. I like it, I like it. This pizzeria has a fantastic concept. I love their style altogether. But there's something missing every single time. However, I don't know who to blame: my craptastic oven or Mama Mimi's. I've tried three different types of pizzas from here. Pizza #1: Honey Wheat dough, pesto sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, and fresh tomatoes. Verdict: Totally burned up in my oven. Set of the smoke alarm. Cat freaked out. The part that wasn't burnt tasted like a cracker. The whole thing just wasn't right. However, the free pizza sticks that they gave me (with dipping sauce) was pretty amazing. Pizza #2: Honey Wheat dough, regular red sauce, their regular cheese blend, and sliced pepperoni. Verdict: The pepperoni brought the fire, but it was rubbery. The crust still tasted weird to me, and the bottom still burnt in my oven (although I do take full fault for this). My boyfriend tells me not to get the honey wheat dough next time. Pizza #3: Regular dough, regular sauce, regular cheese. DELI pepperoni. I left it in the oven for literally 3 minutes. Verdict: Very tasty! The pepperoni curled up and was crispy. The sauce definitely had a great flavor to it and the crust was more my style. Wish for MM's: taste test ingredients? I docked a star because it took me three darn tries to finally get the pizza right. So frustrating. Also, it's not exactly satisfying as a hot pizza and cold beer type combo...it's more satisfying for that "I need a good quick/ cheap dinner fast!" sort of feeling.

Oh Mama this is some good pizza! ;) My fav is the polpetina grande (meatballs!) and the greek salad. Can't forget about the tiramisu! Its is arguably the best I've ever had. Also, a baking Mama Mimi's warms up my little house and makes it smell delicious - this makes it worth the effort every time!

Free your pizza from the pizza chains!! Call in your order-- custom or one from the menu-- and pick it up 10 minutes later. Take it home and cook it in your oven. So good and fresh-- not greasy and nasty like the pizza chains! Try the veggie. Most awesome.

I went to Mama Mimi's this weekend for the first time in a couple of years, so I figured it was time for an update. I'm leaving the three-star rating, because the pizza's still pretty good -- I love the large topping selection, and the crust is perfectly crunchy-thick. I think, though, either my memory of the salads is incorrect, or they've gotten worse. Was the house dressing always this... thick? I've never seen a thick vinaigrette before. And the Greek salad had (gasp) California black olives instead of kalamatas. Cardinal sin there. Furthermore, the take-and-bake chocolate chip cookies have almost no flavor. My wife and I bought two of them, thinking there's no way they could be bad, but we agreed they're missing something essential. Toll House are far better, even the ready-made kind. As I type, my wife is making some frosting to put on our remaining cookie to give it a little flavor. I also ordered online this time, and the process was difficult and counterintuitive. They're obviously using a generic ordering setup instead of one that's custom-made for the company. With so many great pizza places in town, one visit to Mama Mimi's every couple of years is probably going to be the limit for me.

This place is amazing pizza place... One thing that made me give them 4 stars is the way they didn't great me when I came In and seem friendly... But other than that the food is amazing!!!!!

At first, I was reluctant to try take'n bake pizza because 1. im not good at cooking 2. i don't trust my cranky oven. The service was friendly. Even though I got there 5 minutes before closing, the staff gave me a warm welcome. He was really helpful to us who had no clue about the menu and how to bake a pizza. THANK YOU!!! The pizza was delicious. i don't remember what I ordered. SOmething with chicken. Toppings were generously tossed on my large pizza. The sauce was outstanding with a kick of spicy. I will definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

We all know that pizza in a brick oven is best, but if you can't have that, then have a Mama Mimi's! It's a very well executed "take & bake" concept meaning they prep your pizza and you finish it off at home in your oven. You can order online or by phone and they'll have your yums ready for pick-up in about 20 minutes. Mama Mimi's has some really inventive topping offerings which include their fancy "spa" pizzas. Not only can you pick-up a pizza but you can get a salad, calzone, lasagna, breadsticks and even cookie to bake as big as your head. The lasagna is super meaty--I think they even put ham in it?! It smells like fresh ingredients and pungent pizza dough when you walk in and the guys working there are always super-friendly. There are some coupons out there for meal deals as well as BOGO pizza offers if you join their email list or follow them on social media.

I bought a Groupon for $19, which gave us a BOAT LOAD of food: Large pizza, Cesar Salad, calzone, huge cookie, and a complimentary pack of breadstix since it was my first visit. The staff were super friendly and you can watch them make your pizza while you wait. Baking the food was easy and no hassle. Now, the quality of the food...A-OK is probably the best way to put it. I felt there was way too much spinach on the veggie pizza, the cheese was thick and wanted to jump off the crust, and the calzone was too bready and greasy. Yes, it was alot of food for a good price, but it was alot of just OK food, that I probably won't hurry back to buy anytime soon.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
