Honestly this place understands good "American" fast food and great dessert. AND the staff is fabulous! The past two visits the place was packed and we went through drive thru... Not a big deal however the order we received was incorrect. The manager and staff replaced the meal for FREE tonight. They were honestly concerned about the mix up. They run a tight ship here. And the place is very clean always! Join the Culver's movement!

I think I would give them 3.5 stars if there was such option. We had signature double deluxe butter burger, chili fries, and Oreo concrete mixer (with lots of Oreos! A plus!). They were all pretty decent to me, but I probably won't make the trip just for eating here. I would rank the burger first, Oreo concrete mixer second, and the chili fries last. I honestly enjoyed my first time eating here, but I still like McFlurry from McDonalds better.

Awesome customer service, excellent burgers. I love the roast beef too. The inside is clean which is a big deal to me.

Been here several times. Best burger in town, as far as the thin smash like diner burgers goes (I don't compare them to thick burgers like Thurmans). The crinkle fries are very good. Haven't tried much of anything else on the menu but the fried fish, shrimp and chicken look good. Ice Cream is really good too.

The place is always clean and the service is great. For a fast food joint, this place churns out some real good burgers. Aside from other good sandwiches, they also offer diners that include fish or even fried chicken. Good salads, sides, and a large ice cream dessert venue gets them 4 stars. Good chow, me likey.

Calling @Culvers a burger joint doesn't do it justice. Yes, their butterburgers are their 'main attraction' and hell yeah they're stupid good. However, there's a complete non-burger menu to choose from. From grilled cheese to fresh fish to fried chicken to shaved prime rib, they pretty much cover all the staples. In fact, one of the reasons I like Culvers so much is because everyone in the family can find something even when no one wants a burger. And if you want dessert, then they have a plethora of frozen custard concoctions to satisfy. Just please don't call it ice cream! It's much better for you than ice cream and tastes a lot smoother. Of course, the #1 reason to go to Culvers has to be the Wisconsin Cheese Curds. This is what mozzarella sticks everywhere aspire to be. Seriously. Frigging amazing. And if you're concerned about your health, I'm happy to report that they have a complete and incredibly useful nutrition guide available in-store and on their website. It's totally possible to count calories/fat/etc and still have a decent meal here. They even make it easy by having several 'bundles' of items under XXX calories. And their 'snack packs' are perfect. It's like a 'small combo' at those other restaurants, but actually properly portioned and still filling. As for the help, I've not had any issues with them here. Ever. Always in a good mood, always attentive, always helpful. And, unlike the surrounding fast food places, they actually *pay attention* to your order and get it right the first time. Simply amazing.

I stopped here for lunch today. It's housed in a very large building just off of Renner Road. I saw the fish on the menu and ordered a fish sandwich but maybe I should have gotten a butterburger or whatever they call it. The fish was just so-so. The service was very good. They have a lot of extra people there to carry orders out to the tables and so on. If I go back I'll get a burger.

Alright then, I am a fan. My husband and I stopped into Culver's last Friday night to get some ice cream. We chose this place over the local Dairy Queen. I may be nuts, but we wanted to go there. I will have to say that the turtle sundae that I had was pretty good. One scoop and the extra fixin's was enough for me. Hubby had a mint shaker (?), which he said was very good. I have a feeling we may go back there again some time -- just dont know when yet.

Try the Pumpkin Cheesecake Concrete Mixer. it is very good as I like the pumpkin flavor in it. Also if you have an Entertainment Book, they have multiple BOGOs in there at two different spots for Mixers. This is nice to have since it is three minutes from my house.

Went here for the first time to try the cod sandwich and walleye. The walleye was nice and big and crispy- I'm not a walleye person but it was quite good! The fries are nice and salty too! However the cod sandwich was tiny! It was so flavorless! It basically fell apart, gosh it was pretty terrible. Additionally I was taken back by how expensive this all was, nearly $20! I'd give them another try for a butter burger or chicken sandwich, but never again cod! They made it look so good on the ads, it's. It not at all what you get!

I find Culver's to be very similar to Steak n Shake. If you've never been, the menu, in my opinion, is sort of confusing. There are a few combos listed, but you can turn any sandwich into a basket with a side. The butter burgers are great; crispy bun and burger, the toppings are fresh. I really like the crinkle cut fries. They are fried nice and GBD, with just the right amount of salt. The chicken tenders are some of the best tenders I've ever eaten at a fast food restaurant. The frozen custard is not something I'll get again. I prefer real ice cream.

The new pumpkin shake is amazing. I also had a regular onion ring that was also amazing. Their food rocks and has never disappointed.

I'm a sucker for an outstanding hamburger. Culver's has just that. I'm also a sucker for golden crispy french fries and thick milkshakes. Culver's has those, too. What's most enjoyable about Culver's, though, is the down-home friendly service - a type of service that can only come from a true family operation. I love this place. And if you're in the mood for burgers, fries and shakes served to you by top-notch people, then you will, too. Can't wait to go back.

I have eaten here at Culvers more than 10 times in the past year. Quality of food, consistency of excellent service, excellent menu selections, extremely clean facility, easy parking and convenient location makes this restaurant a "must stop" for anyone close to the I-70 & Hilliard-Rome Rd. intersection. Beside the excellent food, the ice cream selections for desert really adds to the fun of choosing Culvers, especially if you have kids. Each kids dinner bag has a "tear off" coupon for a free dish of ice cream. There are at least six employees that have 6 or more years of service. One employee named Kathy ( has completed her undergraduate and graduate degree to become a teacher while working at Culvers) never fails to come from around the counter and give my two little grand-daughters a hug. She is a highly dedicated employee and my family will be sad to see her move on to her new teaching career after the wonderful service she has provide to us and many other thousands of customers. Just last week, I ordered a Grilled Prime Rib Mushroom sandwich that I believe is a new selection and it could not have been better. That sandwich is a real WINNER. Their Butter Burger is the primary sandwich selection and once you have eaten one, you will think twice about ever heading back to the other fast food burger locations on Hilliard-Rome Rd. Treat yourself! You will not regret it.

I have never been here before but heard a lot about the cheese curds. I was very leary about it and got a small. My first bite I was hooked. It tastes almost like mozzarella sticks you get from Arby's. But Much better! So try the curds, u will Not be disappointed!

Their Root beer is so amazing. Banana split is so good. Food Is also pretty good. If the cooks didn't make my burger so sloppy all the time I'd give an extra star,

The most memorable thing about this place was the service. The food was good for fast food, but from the moment I walked in until I pulled away, I had great customer service. I was greeted right away and ordered my food, the clerk was very patient with my multiple orders and payment options. I had a large order because I was picking it up for my office and one of the associates asked to help take my food to the car...at a fast food restaurant! I was blown away and very appreciative. That constituted a four star in my opionion. I would like to try the ice cream some time as well.

'So out of respect for stories of nostalgia, followed by personal curiosity, I paid a visit to home of the Butter Burgers. 'Even though I ultimately decided against getting one after seeing the sheen on the buns, meat,..... well, just about everything. To be honest..... didn't feel great afterward. 'Really wasn't all that against the taste of food served, but I do feel like a legitimate three star restaurant (yes, even fast food restaurant) shouldn't make you second guess and recall every bite you just took like some STD you're trying to remember where you got it from. Sadly, I will say the green beans were great. The bottom part. Where it probably soaked in.....something shiny. And I usually don't do this...but in the case of comparing Culver's to In-and-Out Burgers.......Don W., you are wrong!

Top notch fast food with a big non fast food selection. On top of great burgers they have some of the best ice cream in Columbus. I recommend sticking to the standard fare of burgers and other non fancy product (although the rubin is one of the better other items). Rootbeer floats are also great. Place is super clean, and the staff is about as far from the mongoloids working at burger king and white castle as you can get. I've never regretted a trip here- expanding waistline aside.

Recived a flyer with the mail. They had two buy one, get one free cupons. (Which I am a huge fan of buy one get one free.) It was my first time going there and trying the Butter Buger. It was so tasty, and very filling. Worth the cupon! Plus we had the Concrete Mixer, also a buy one, get one free cupon. It was like the DQ Blizzard, but better. They added more of the item you wanted in your Mixer. It was smoother and it was a better size for a medium, unlike the re-sized medium of DQ. I don't know if we'll visit without a cupon, but it's on my list of favorites.

Culver's is ridiculous. Absurdly juicy, flavorful burgers called butterburgers you say? Soft, buttery buns? Cheese curds? Frozen custard?! I'm more than in. I really dig this place. Essentially a beefed-up Dairy Queen, Culver's offers burgers, fries, frozen custard, sandwiches, fried chicken and a variety of more "meal" oriented fare like pot roast. The frozen custard is killer, and the burgers are extremely tasty. And please try the cheese curds (a Wisconsin specialty -- deep fried cheese that is better than any old mozzarella cheese stick). The Dairy Queen comparison does the place a bit of a disservice, though. It's much, much better than anything I've ever eaten at DQ. Perhaps Steak and Shake is more accurate? Nope, still not even close. This is no high-priced McDonald's substitute. Beware, Culver's can get darn crowded at peak hours. I've seen the line go out the door on more than one occasion (maybe that's a sign I go here too often). Culver's is a newcomer to C-bus. And as much as I love them, I hope we don't get too many of them around town. I want the novelty to remain.

The burgers here taste like they were really grilled on a barbecue. A cut above the other fast food places around it. I'd never gone here because I don't like custard and the idea of freezing sounds about as appealing as a sperm bank. But my gf surprised me with some one day and I've been hooked ever since. The burgers are actually made fresh to order and taste like they were really cooked over a fire. The fries are good too, on par with White Castle and Raising Canes. They make their own root beer which is cool, though it doesn't really taste particularly different than any other root beer. Only problem is they're messy and they tend to get soggy so eat that sandwich fast.

I've been driving past Culvers for years now wondering what it was like. Once I read Shannons review I figured it was time to check it out. The menu board has pictures of these large burgers and they look delicious. However when they were brought over to our table they were really thin. Not worth the price you pay. I was really disappointed and dare I say it, wished I was eating at White Castle instead. I won't be back to Culvers!

I have tried Hamburgers all over the country, and I really have to say that they have the best! Not a huge fan of the ice cream but the regular food is always awesome - even better than the $12 burgers at the "best" local joints!

Review based on the vanilla frozen custard only... Having family from the Ohio/Michigan area, frozen custard is one of those "every blue moon" treats, when we would come visit. Culver's served up the frozen custard of my dreams. Rich, creamy, vanilla deliciousness. I didn't even mess it up with any toppings or mix-ins, although they had plenty. My kidlet had a chocolate custard "sandwich", made with what looked like to be 2 giant chocolate Oreo cookies. She enjoyed it immensely and the state of her face and hands proved it! This would be a restaurant that I would frequent if I lived in the area. Friendly staff, clean facility and delicious custard.
