My wife took me to her favorite lunch place she called a salad store, so I was a little hesitant .... Me - Are there other things besides salad? Her - Yes but you could use a salad. Me - Love you, honey - just for that I'm getting a sandwich! Her - Your dumb! Love you too So we get there and I got an Asiago Roast Beef bagel. TERRIFFIC It was basically roast beef, cheese, lettuce tomato and horseradish on an asiago bagel. Now normally, I am not a big fan of bagel sandwiches because they are hard to eat - very messy!!! However, as a previous reviewer pointed out, these aren't really authentic bagels. Bad, if you are a looking for a New York Bagel, but really good if you are making a bagel sandwich cause the bagel was soft and made a great bun. As good as the sandwich was, the "salad bar" (you point and they mix) looked great and my wife's salad (served in Toy Story cereal bowl!!??!!) looked great and they had a wide ranging, fresh looking selection of toppings. Me - Wow that salad DOES look good! Her - I know, I told you to get a salad. Me - You were right, again!! Her - When are you going to start listening to me? I'll definitely be back and I'm probably going for the salad.

Best salads in Columbus, an the sandwiches and sushi aren't bad at all. I come here once a week at least.

Relationships are a balancing act. I want starchy sandwiches and cheap sushi. My lovely partner always wants some sort of pork/Asian noodle dish. I am so sick of trying to find a good real Chinese place in Columbus and him dragging me all over town to try each "authentic" restaurant which seems to be worse than the last. I'm not that big of a fan of Chinese food anyway. However, there is a solution. Cornerstone deli. From moment I walked in, I knew that this place was going to be a hit with us. I could get a scrumptious, beautiful sandwich and even a bagel with cream cheese! Not to mention, sushi... oh baby now you're talking. Meanwhile, my partner walked in and got some Asian -noodle- egg rice- thing and seemed to enjoy it immensely. The bagel itself was what I like to call halfway decent. It's the middle between a real NY/Montreal bagel and what I like to call a "Midwestern Bagel", better known as "Bread with a hole in it". Good attempt though. And the sushi - amazing! I feel that this place is sort of a lunch place, however it's open a lot later to many places that cater this type of food. I think thats a good thing because who knows when that "sushi for dinner" craving will kick in! The place was super spotless as well and the service was warm and friendly. Also I when I was leaving to go to the parking lot, I saw they had their own little gardens set up! The garden seems well-maintained. I hope that's where some of those beautiful fresh vegetables I saw in the salad bar came from!

If I am in the mood for a sandwich for lunch and want to be left alone for a half hour or so, this is one of my favorite places to go! The menu is really varied for a deli. the salads are great, it's a pick-what-you-want-type thing. Every time I've ordered a sandwich or wrap here, it's great. There is a portobello mushroom melt that is super tasty. You can also add a bag of chips and a fountain(bottomless)soda for 1.99 to any sandwich. Good deal for lunch. There is AMPLE seating for as many or as few people you have eating with you. It is perfect for the student eating lunch alone while doing homework/reading, as well :D The close proximity to other local businesses is nice, as well. It's a nice place to stop into for coffee or lunch while in Clintonville.

Cornerstone is a good deli + pan-Asian. The deli selections are all solid. They have a huge variety of sandwiches and wraps. Some even border on innovative. The cool turkey is one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere. The bagels are much better than you typically find in Columbus, too. They've got a crisp outside and are nice and chewy inside. My only complaint here is that if you just want lox and cream cheese (and you really should want lox and cream cheese... like... always) you have to order the lox sandwich and have them leave everything off. It's a little pricey, but it's not really that much worse than you'd pay elsewhere. I used to get the sushi a lot, and it's pretty good. Way better than you'd expect from a deli. Nothing innovative, but the rice is well seasoned and the fish is as fresh as most other sushi restaurants in Columbus. I haven't gotten it recently because I've been on an Akai Hana kick, so I don't know if the quality is still there or not. I've never tried the other Asian offerings. They have a variety of rice bowls. Judging from how well Cornerstone executes the rest of their menu and the fact that the staff there is almost all Asian I'd guess these are pretty safe choices. All that said, I think Cornerstone might benefit from a little more focus, though. They seem to do a lot of things pretty well. I think if they trimmed the menu down and concentrated on doing fewer things better they could easily be a five star deli. As it is, though, when I want a quick sandwich or a bagel Cornerstone is the top of my list.

I liked their pizza bagles, miso and sandwiched but their asian dishes are pretty bad, sushi was worse than what you get from a grocery store and the "Salmon Rice Bowl" is small bits of salmon covered with spicy mayo over white rice. Not something I'll pay 8$ for again.

I love this place. The menu is a little bead-heavy, of course (sandwiches, wraps, bagels, etc) but among that is a really great salad bar. I got a big salad with chicken and tons of add ins. I was able to choose from four kinds of leafy greens (I chose spring greens and spinach) and got to add in tons of veggies and eggs on top. They even have olive oil and vinegar as a dressing, so it was easily one of the most paleo-friendly meals I've had out in a while. (But if you're the sort that likes rice, don't overlook the sushi). Great place, great ambiance and free wifi. Give it a look.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday with my son and brother-in-law, and was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and unique (i.e. not chain-like) atmosphere. Menu assortment is wide, ranging from breakfast to sushi to hot/cold sandwiches. I got a French dip, which was pretty good. The roll it came on was particularly good. My son got a kid's pizza bagel, which while not an elegant meal, came on a quite solid sesame bagel. Prices were quite reasonable; seemed to me cheaper and better than Panera. If I were in the area at lunchtime, I'd visit again.

Always enjoy Cornerstone for lunch or dinner! Their salad ingredient selection is always great and fresh (always well priced as well); they make it to order as you select your toppings. They recently started making sushi and other asian dishes there as well, and although the rolls usually take 10-15 minutes to make, they are usually good quality for their prices. I have had their rainbow and eel rolls before. They offer lots of sandwiches and wraps, as well as a great breakfast menu. Never any complaints!

Ordered home delivery..sushi, pad thai, general tso's chicken. Delivery was prompt even though I live near their delivery border. Sushi was fresh and delicious..I recommend the spicy salmon roll. Pad Thai was delicious..not spicy enough for me..but it was the first time I ordered it and didn't know what to expect..I'm sure they can spice it up upon request. General Tso's was also very good...all white meat chicken..great sauce. I was pleasantly surprised at the large portions that we got for the price. I will definitely order from here again and again!!

I come to Cornerstone Deli pretty frequently to study and work with a friend. Though lacking in any real ambience, it seems to attract stragglers like ourselves seeking free WiFi, cheap (and relatively decent) food, and a central location along High St. in Clintonville. Cornerstone is a bit of an oddity because they have bagels, deli items and sandwiches, a salad bar, and an Asian themed selection of sushi and cooked items. I've only had bagels and sandwiches at Cornerstone; the bagels here are a bit more bread-like than bagels (in my opinion as a native New York state resident), which is a little disappointing. When I order them, I have to remind myself to think of them as bread not bagels. They're liberal with the cream cheese, and the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich is excellent--fresh veggies, sprouts, and a healthy smear of hummus. I would avoid the egg and bacon sandwich; in my experience it's pretty greasy. I'll return to Cornerstone again because it's a nice change of pace from your standard coffee shop, and the staff here is friendly. (Plus, they've never complained about the many hours we've spent working here and tapping into their WiFi.) If you're looking for good bagels in the Columbus area, though, I would check out Spinelli's Deli in Victorian Village or their new Downtown location.

Have been here many times! The chinese foodis insane and so are the subs. Don't go here if you want ambiance but go if you want great food and inexpensive pricing then this is the place! And now they deliver... Even better

Great build your own salad and great bagels. I don't recommend the egg salad... I found shells in it on more than one occassion.

The food was ok, but if you're looking for a quick meal to go this isn't the place for you. If you chose to have a leasurely meal and dine-in then be prepared to leave smelling like the interesting mix of food served there.

Seriously - how does this place NOT have a 5 stars average? There salads are made to order - huge and amazing - the grilled portabella sandwich is the bomb. They have a couch to lounge on - plateware that looks like it came from my grams' house. I have yet to find another place that does the salad/sandwich thing the way Cornerstone does! I always hit it up when I am back in town!

Are you serious? I'm the first person to review Cornerstone? Blasphemy, I tell you! What is there that's not to love about Cornerstone? Their bagels are always fresh and soft, the soup is hearty and delicious, the sandwich menu is almost of the same scale as Katzinger's, and to top it off the prices are cheap cheap CHEAP! The first thing I ever had at Cornerstone was a southwest egg wrap that I purchased on the way to Worthington for a job interview one morning, and everything about it was of the highest order. On top of that, it was ready to go in no more than five minutes, which was excellent at the time as I was in quite a hurry. The pepper jack cheese may have been of the processed variety, but it tasted a lot less oily and cheap than the kind they use at that atrocious Rise & Dine place over on W. 5th. Oh yeah- it was only four bucks- cha ching! The hot sandwiches here are a real draw even though most of them seem rather unassuming and run-of-the-mill. Although it's a well known fact that I'm one of the prime Reuben connoisseurs in Columbus, I decided to be adventurous and see what else Cornerstone had to offer me when I visited a second time. I ended up with a Jack's Monterey Chicken, which ended up being very delicious. The Chipotle Mayo that it came topped with provided the juicy chicken breast just the right amount of kick to keep me in heated anticipation of the next bite, and the tomato that complimented the lettuce on the sandwich was incredibly fresh and juicy. i could go on for hours about the myriad of unique items that fill out the rest of the menu, but based on the fact that I'm the first person to review this 7th Wonder of Clintonville, it appears to me that you people have some serious homework to do. Go forth! Experience the greatness that is Cornerstone Deli!!

I went over this lunchtime specifically to check out their sushi. I ate four pieces and I can unoquivically say, forget it! It's just not good sushi and it's priced the same as places such as Sushi Ting and Otani that make GREAT sushi. Stick to the bagels!

I'm a big fan of the Cornerstone's bagels, salads and sushi. Atmosphere is nothing special but if you're looking for a great bagel and a decent cup of coffee in Clintonville, you can't go wrong here. It's also great for picky eaters since there's something to satisfy everyone's taste buds. Also, good place to sip coffee and browse the interwebnets. Favorite: McClure wrap and the Asiago Roast Beef Sandwich. Despite the atmosphere, you should give the sushi a chance - you won't be disappointed!

  • Kate Z.

Best Salad Bar In Town! You can get a large salad, with chicken or tofu, and anything else you would ever want, for under eight bucks. They don't charge by the pound for their salads, so add anything you desire. The sushi bar they added recently is decent, considering how cheap it is. Bagels and bagel sandwiches are their specialties and if you order a sandwich you won't leave hungry. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is always good. The atmosphere isn't much to speak of, very coffee-shop like with some mismatched chairs and old couches in the back room where you can lounge while you enjoy your salad and read the paper.

One thing has to be gotten out of the way from the start: I am a Souplantation addict. If they were in town, not only would I probably never come here, I might never eat anywhere else. To me picking exactly what goes into my salad is pretty much the epitome of awesome. Luckily for the owners of this establishment, the nearest Souplantation is called "Sweet Tomatoes" and it's in Chicago. Anyway, that's all I've eaten here. That's probably all I'll eat here. The ingredients are fresh and cold, the price is sub-crazy, they slice their tomatoes like all civilized salad-makers do, and they have celery along with at least three kinds of cheeses and far more fruits than I ever imagined ought to be put on a salad. Even sliced almonds, which again, failure of imagination on my part. So go them. Summary: great for control freaks like me. I understand, based on the other reviews, that the rest of the offerings are pretty good, too. I don't recommend parking on Como, as you will be sucked into the abyss of narrow brick one-way streets and may never get out. I'll be dragging my family here regularly. Until Souplantation opens, anyway.

Cornerstone seems like a nice enough place... I used to eat here all the time under the old ownership... figured I'd try it again since I was in their neck of the woods. Stopped in... they added a whole asian menu and a sushi counter? Kind of weird for a deli. Ordered a corned beef reuben. A little smaller than I seem to have remembered last time I was in. I was definitely still hungry after that sandwich. Was a good sandwich, though. Makes me miss Izzy's in Cincinnati. MY KINGDOM FOR A GOOD JEWISH DELI IN COLUMBUS ! =)

Some of the best sandwiches in Columbus. I love the breakfast egg & sausage bagel, vegetable wrap and the pizza bagel. The pricing is really reasonable and I stay full all afternoon.

The bagels are really good. After Sammy's went out of business it's my go to bagel place. The pick your salad option is terrific, always fresh and huge for the price. Their noodles and sandwiches are great too with plenty of vegetarian options.

  • Amanda K.

Wonderful salad bar, good Chinese food, friendly staff. Also, nice sandwich options. I've never had the sushi, so can't comment. You can tell it's a family-owned place. Lots of vegetarian options

I like the Cornerstone, but I haven't been in a while because I'm avoiding the asiago bagel with roast beef. It's absolutely delicious and large. My girlfriend and I used to split it and a couple times I even ordered one for each of us and regretted it because it was so much food. The soups are good too. I tried the sushi and wasn't a big fan. I prefer sushi from the giant eagle down the street. Can anyone else tell me where else I can find brown rice sushi is this city? If you are looking for something a little healthier, then I would suggest trying their salad bar or the delicious cool turkey wrap with sprouts and cream cheese. The girl at the counter is very friendly and helpful too.

We just became residents of Clintonville in April, and I can't believe it took me 4 months to try this place! It's awesome. They offer sandwiches that are classics (The Ruben was amazing) and they offer original and fun sandwiches as well (my hubbie and I both loved the Gordie). I ordered the "Lox Stox and Bagel" because I haven't had a good dose of smoked salmon since moving from the Short North and leaving Tasi Cafe behind. I'd have to say Cornerstone gives Tasi a run for their money. My only disappointment is that we showed up only an hour before closing and the only bagels they had left were berry flavors and cinnamon (not the best pairings) so I opted to have it on regular wheat bread. It was still amazing, but lacking the extra oomph the bagel would have added. Very friendly staff, nice enough atmosphere, and very fresh and quality ingredients. I'm happy with this place and plan on making it a new favorite. PLUS, we have a Southwest rapid rewards credit card, and get triple points here. Big bonus!

Great Clintonville neighborhood business. Family owned and operated. Great food. Impressive variety. Friendly service. Great prices. What's not to like? One of my favorites for sure.

Took my parents here for a quick lunch on Sunday because my mom notoriously hates chains, and Columbus is full of them. My boyfriend swears by the salad bar, but I didn't partake this time. I had the Asiago Beef sandwich, but on a three cheese bagel because they were out of the asiago ones. No big deal. It was a big sandwich, very tasty and definitely what I was looking for. My dad had a reuben, which was kind of disappointing in size but he still enjoyed it. My mom had the chicken rice bowl, and she made the best choice out of the two of them. She even told me she made her own rice bowls the other night for dinner since she was inspired by theirs. Good atmosphere to hang out and people watch, catch up, etc. No frills, really, but I'd rather have a plain jane neighborhood place that I can depend on than another chain in the 'hood. I'll be back, it was a good choice! Maybe next time I'll even dare to try the sushi.

Delicious sushi at a not crazy price. My sister loves this place and eats there once a week for their amazing salad bar. And the people are really great!

The biggest draw for me to eat at Cornerstone Deli is the rice bowls because I can get them made with tofu and they are delicious!! I've not tried a whole lot of other stuff from the menu so I can't comment on how those taste. The prices aren't too expensive for most of the items there and they have plenty of seating which I like so I don't feel too cramped. I've always received my food fairly quickly and the portions are generally pretty large (at least they are for the rice bowls). There's definitely an eclectic mix on the menu, ranging from bagels to sushi. Hey, works for me!

I live just down the road from this place and walk here often for breakfast. The bagels are very good and I particularly like the Southwest Egg sandwich on a bagel or rye bread. For lunch/dinner, I usually always get the salad bar. They assemble the salad for you, but you get to pick all your stuff. Good value to get salad bar/bagel combo with a drink. I also like some of the asian dishes they have, like the teriyaki bowl, and their pizza bagels.

    (4)
  • Sara M.

Although this place isn't the prettiest, nor does it have the.... prettiest... salad bar in the world, I have a soft spot for it in my heart-stomach-place. This is simply because they make absolutely divine bagels and have one of the best people-watching windows in Clintonville. We used to go every Sunday morning to get a dozen bagels for the family. They were better, and under different management then, but they still manage to make excellent simple foods. Some friends swear by their salads, but I have never particularly seen the salad bar as an appealing thing. I usually prefer to order something that has been cooked. That said, their grilled cheese is really yummy.

Cornerstone is the greatest place ever!!! If you are in the mood for a HUGE, make-it-yourself salad for super CHEAP, (4.50 for like, 5 lbs of fresh awesomeness) go to Cornerstone. If you are wanting a bagel and veggie shmear for under 3 bucks or a really great sandwich for under 6, go to Cornerstone. If you want a soup and salad combo that kicks Panera's booty ten-fold, go to Cornerstone. If you want to have a super smooth and chocolatey hot mocha and use the free Wi-Fi for hours, go to Cornerstone. They also have Sushi, which is new to the menu.. and I'm a vegetarian so I havent tried it, but I bet its super fresh and yummy like everything else on their menu. Another great thing to know about Cornerstone is that you never have to wait more than 5 minutes for your food and you'll probably never pay more than 7 dollars to stuff yourself full of delectable goodness. I suppose it is worth mentioning as well, that it is across the street from Rag O Rama and next door to Mad4Mod so if you're out shopping in Clintonville on a weekend, be sure to save your appetite and stop in. The employees will greet you with huge, slightly creepy smiles and super fast service.

My biggest complaint about this place is the bad produce, especially shocking considering that they have a salad bar. I keep getting sandwiches with wilted lettuce and brown sprouts. It does not taste right or look ok. Sometimes it's fine, but often it's terrible, even during the summer when it should be easy to get fresh produce. The menu is vast and completely disorganized. They opened a sushi counter fairly recently, which was bizarre to say the least. They really need to focus on pairing down the options and doing fewer things better. The only thing I will eat here now is a bagel and cream cheese. Their homemade bagels are very nice and they have a decent selection. The wait can be ridiculously long though, even if the place is practically deserted.

  • Ryan S.

I could write graphs about Cornerstone's bagel sandwiches or fresh salads, my usual gets here at this high value delicatessen, but instead I must speak of the Phad Thai. I had their take on the Thailand street food for the first time Sunday having read the accolades about on Yelp. I must say that the accolades are justified. Although I don't do Phad very often, the dish of noodles here were the best I've had in the city. The noodles were fresh, tender, and hot. The spices were flavorful and unique as exotic food should be. Listed as spicy, the spice isn't really hot, about on par with the spicy chicken at Wendy's. For a great price of $6.97, the serving is large. Not very often you get that quality withe that quantity. My friend ordered a Godie sandwich which was large and potato salad which was good. Self-described as a cafe-deli, Cornerstone always have great and sizable meals for cheep. This makes the Clintonville institution a magnet for students. They have a diverse menu, that stays true to the delicatessen staples, but ventures with success outside the box. Its old wooden space on the corner there is reminiscent of off-campus joints. It has that smell like a mix of sulfur water, wet mahogany stain, and B/O--which is your classic student pad smell. The place is clean though, and the smell is not strong. There is ample but not numerous seating. It does get loud here, like all delis do. Great place for students and others looking for a good meal for the value. Note: they have a sign up saying not to get soda out of the fountain if you didn't pay for it. Some people must be confused.

When my significant other and I first visited the place we were expecting a more traditional deli. Sandwiches, bagels, coffee. That sort of thing. Which they do have. We were surprised that they had Asian cuisine as well. So I gave their orange chicken a try. It was quite frankly, one of the best I've ever had. Chicken is cooked nicely. They aren't too big, the sauce is tangy, they give you a decent amount of rice and it's only 6 bucks. Not too bad. Next time we went in I tried their California Sushi Roll. It was excellent. I get mine spicy and its always perfectly spiced. They're also pretty big rolls. Once I'm done eating, I'm usually at the right amount of full. Not overly stuffed but satisfied. On our last visit I tried one of their French dip sandwiches. I didn't think that they could possibly top themselves but they did. That French dip just melts in your mouth. The au jus is just superb. I've never had any bad service here. The staff is always friendly and out comes out pretty quick. It's definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Columbus.

Excellent Pad Thai, sushi and sweet and sour chicken. Unusual combo of a deli that serves exceptional Asian food. Have not tried the deli sandwiches yet, but plan to stop in and see the operation. So far, we've only used the delivery option. That said, delivery has been prompt, the food hot, and the driver courteous. This probably is going to become a regular option on the family take-out/quick meal menu.

Today I tried something I had heard was delicious but always forgot about because it's not listed on their chalkboard menu above the register - their pad thai! In short, probably the best pad thai I've had in Columbus. As I ordered it, the cashier told me that it was spicy. I was like "oh no... spicy??" and she was like "oh, no, not really spicy. American spicy." I was still worried; my tongue doesn't love spicy, and my stomach definitely doesn't. When I got the pad thai, though, it was the perfect amount of spice. It was flavorful, unlike some dishes that are so spicy they impact your ability to really taste the food. The egg, carrots, bean sprouts, and all other parts of the dish were on point. The noodles were cooked perfectly. I think it was $7 - our whole meal was about $15. I definitely have a new lunch go-to at Cornerstone!!

  • Morgan M.

Honestly I love this place. It's low key, I can bring my kids, it's close to my house. Where else could you get bagels or crappy chinese food or sushi or salad? Sure, I don't think the bagels are all fresh everyday, I bet they freeze some every night and serve them up. The Chinese food isn't super authentic, but you know what? It's the kind of place sometimes you're just in the mood for. It's fast, inexpensive and enjoyable. And I like for there to be places like this or else every corner would be a gastropub out of my regular price range instead of somewhere I can have a quick snack or lunch instead of fast food.

I am new to town and was recently at the Whetstone Rec Center. I asked one of the employees to tell me her favorite restaurant in town... and without hesitation, she recommended Cornerstone. My husband and 17 month old daughter went this week for dinner. Like all other Yelpers, I highly recommend the Pad Thai. It's delicious. The servings are good and the service is efficient. The restaurant is clean but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Our family of three ate for under $20.

  • Bianca L.

I really wanted to like this place. I walked in on a whim. The atmosphere was comfortable and clean. The employee was wonderfully cheerful and friendly. But I was disappointed. I got a portobello melt on wheat, a taro bubble tea, and a Thai iced coffee. The boba in the bubble tea were bad. The texture was funny, as if they had been sitting around for quite awhile. The tea itself was okay though. I absolutely love Thai iced tea, so I was hoping Thai coffee might be similarly wonderful, but it was stale, weak, and disgustingly sweet. I couldn't drink it. The melt was good. I enjoyed it a lot. But... how do I put this politely? About 6-7 hours later I was not so fond of it anymore. This is coming from someone whose gut it not phased even by Taco Bell. I might give them another chance. The service was great and they had an interesting menu. Maybe my negative experience was an aberration.

I can't believe I've never left a yelp review for Cornerstone. Have I ever told you how much I love cornerstone? Probably. Cornerstone has never failed me. Cornerstone has always been there to comfort me. I LOVE YOU CORNERSTONE.

Cornerstone is just terrific for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great, friendly staff and a nice, full menu. Everyone can find something on the menu that will be delicious! I am a fan of the egg sandwich, herbivore and the pad Thai.

This place is pretty consistently great. I have never eaten IN the place, but I think it is quirky and cool. Lots of people studying while eating or just relaxing. Had a good vibe. I typically use Qikfood to QUICKLY order and pay online...then I swing through and grab it. After my second or third visit I noticed the parking across the street. Nice to have that!. Have tried a few of the Asian dishes and really enjoyed them. The Spicy Tuna bowl is my go-to and the General Tso's is excellent. Prices are on the cheaper end too in my opinion. That, coupled with the ease of ordering, take-out, and the cool place in general this is 5-star worthy all day long.

Still good as ever. Had the spicy shrimp California roll and a portabella melt on a three cheese bagel over the weekend. As usual, the food was tasty, service prompt, and check total comfortable on the wallet. I'm glad to see that this establishment is still up to standard and flourishing.

Good food, excellent variety. I had the stinger wrap, my brother had the big cliff. We both loved our food. The fries are pretty plain but only a dollar for a small plate of them. Really enjoyed my experience.

This place is one of my go-tos, because they offer reasonably-priced, decent food, and they deliver to most of the places I might find myself on any given day. The build-your-own salad and sandwich features are FANTASTIC, and I can build myself whatever stomach-churning delight I want. Lately, though, it's like a switch turned, and it hasn't been as delightful. Entire meals have been missing from delivery, and when I contacted the business to address it, not a whole lot was done. I received a sandwich with the top of a garlic bagel and the bottom of a raisin bagel. Sushi is packed in the same bags as hot food, resulting in a really disturbing hot sushi mix. Fries have been cold and hard. Most frightening of all is that they delivered to my billing address instead of my delivery address several times, despite me having the right delivery address on the receipt. So, I'd say that, as long as you skip the delivery service and brave the long, disorganized line at the cafe proper, you're in for a very nice, tasty lunch!

Confusing menu... Not awesome. Didn't die .. So that's good. Just can't think of a good reason to ever go here again with all of the delicious options in town. Oh... And the tables were sticky. Ew.

Slow service, disorganized, and less then friendly help. Waited over 30 minutes for a sandwich. Really don't see what the good ratings are about. Unless the rest of the restaurants in the area are worse which is scary to think about. Would not recommend at all

What a delightful place to have lunch, this type of restaurant is my favorite and again I hope to find more like this to try out and write up a great review on it. Walk up to the counter and order your food, listen for you food to be yelled out and somebody will bring it right over to your table. They sell Crimson Cup coffee (self serve). We ordered: Tuna Melt Sandwich - excellent and tasty, I Highly recommend it. French Dip - seemed a bit low quality and the dip was super salty, it was good just not what we expected. It's the type of place to just hang out with friends, eat great food and stare out the window at High St. They have Free Wi-Fi

I always forget this is an Asian deli, and I'm always pleasantly surprised. This is one of my favorite quick little eateries around. They have an unbelievably wide variety of foods and everything I've had is wonderful. Bagels are good, orange chicken is fabulous, pad Thai has a very different flavor but tastes great and you always get a huge amount of sushi. I've never tried the salad "bar" but I'm sure I will, there's a pretty big selection of produce. Just to top it all off, prices are decently low. I just love it.

i love this cute little restaurant! it sure isn't a fancy place to dine, but i like the local small-town feel to it. under one roof, you can order japanese, chinese, and american food. the roommate had the tuna melt and fries; i had the teriyaki tofu bowl. everything was pretty good. the sandwich was tasty and so were the fries. the tofu bowl was hot and fresh. i asked them to leave out the zucchini and they got my order right! for my dessert, i ordered a strawberry bubble tea. i was sooo disappointed! does anyone remember that pink liquid medication you had to drink as a kid? that was the strawberry bubble tea.

This is the most random hole in the wall place ever! They have a huge diverse menu. Their salad bar is awesome! So many options. Always fresh. This is also my favorite place for pad Thai! However I am not a fan of their bagels.

It's really nothing special but I've still been to this place a handful of times over the years. I think it has to do with getting my haircut around dinner time at Lucky 13.

This place has really come a long way from three years ago. I love their breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Only reason they don't get 5 stars is the coffee runs out too often (it's self-serve) and the help isn't always mindful of getting a new pot brewed right away. I'll definitely return - oh yeah, free wi-fi as well. yay!

This was our most pleasant surprise in a long while! The wide variety of options is as impressive as the food itself! Gluten-free galore plus tasty sandwiches, sushi, Thai tea, and Thai dishes made my day! The employees were also genuinely happy for each patron that walked in their door; I swear they all smiled the whole time we were there. We had the Thai chicken curry, BBQ (what we call "eel sauce" in Arizona) eel rice bowl, Philly roll (with smoked salmon!), double salmon tuna roll, rainbow roll, and the French dip. The bread (French dip) was the best sandwich bread I've ever had, and there was ample parking right off of High Street rather than behind the building or on the street like other places. I also love that the eel rice bowl has sushi rice rather than simply steamed rice. The fountain drinks were self serve, so we were able to refill our water bottles on our way out the door--I love not having to go to the counter to ask for water or refills. The bathroom is also mostly clean and spacious, which is important to me. Nice job! We'll definitely be back!

This is by far one of my favorite places to go to eat! The food is always good, and the people are always nice. It's the perfect place to go for just a casual meal with family and friends. It's great because they also deliver to campus area so even when I don't want to leave my house I can have Cornerstone! Overall it's great food at a good price

It's a Clintonville neighborhood staple. When you walk in, you'll see posters for local events, artists, and bands plastering the wall. Cornerstone is part sushi house, part coffee shop, part bakery, part lunch counter, and all awesome. They carry Crimson Cup coffee (try the Celtic Grog - it's like magic) and the back room is a great place to hole up and study or meet with friends. For breakfast, try one of their breakfast sandwiches on an everything bagel for breakfast. The rice bowls are fabulous because, unlike a lot of take-out chinese, it's got as many veggies as pieces of meat. I love this place.

  • Emma L.

Man, I feel really jipped with my experience at Cornerstone. Everyone seems to have a place in their heart for this little deli and I'm not sure if it's because they know how and what to order or simply because it's their neighborhood spot. I went with some friends who had been raving about the place you could find salads, bagel sandwiches AND sushi - and I was pretty excited. Walking in, the atmosphere (read: outdated & dirty) made the "do not order sushi here" bells go off in my head. I decided to stick with a bagel sandwich - safe and still had the potential to be amazingly tasty. My asiago bagel was ok on a 'coulda got this at kroger' level, but it was barely toasted. The roast beef was again just okay and I ended up picking most of it off. My cheese wasn't melted. It was really dry and mayo wasn't helping. I was pretty bummed out, especially because my friend was enjoying her salad. Order remorse for sure. I feel like this is probably a Clintonville staple because, well, it's in Clintonville and has the whole variety/inexpensive thing going for it. Just wasn't for me.

This place has in fact become a go-to. I have since tried the infamous salad bar several times and it lives up to its reputation as tasty and huge! Recently, I ordered a small salad to go and my roommate who had decided to try it upon my enthusiastic recommendation, happened to be at home eating a large salad from here. They were the same size but he paid $2 more than me...so maybe go for a small? See what happens. The rice bowl blew my mind. I ordered tofu stir-fry and it was chock full of veggies and the tofu was cooked to perfection. Fried and slightly crunchy on the outside, soft inside. The portions were huge so you definitely get your money's worth. I took half of it home, it was easily two and a half meals for me. Just don't leave it in your car for a day. That will only lead to tears and heartache and a sad taste buds. Veggie egg roll was standard. Nothing special but tasty! An associate at Rag-o-Rama had recommended the Thai coffee, and once again, I wasn't disappointed. I don't drink coffee or anything of the like, especially iced coffee. All of that went out the window with this sweet, cinnamon-y, iced concoction.

Took my niece here the other day for lunch. I really like this place. Great eclectic mix of food with nothing being too expensive. You'll find a little something for everyone: Sushi, Chinese, Thai, Wraps, soups, an impressive salad bar. It's got a casual atmosphere. Laid back and easy going. It's cool that there's a lot of different people coming in from hipsters, students, middle aged and older people too. Gay, Straight, Black, White and Asian....nice cross section of people so no matter what, you'll belong. I will tell you though, I have found my Phad Thai nirvana. Good stuff. It's one of the better Phad Thai's I've had and it's not too expensive @ 6.95 for a bit more than I really need to be eating in one sitting - but I did, it was soooo good.

I am swooned by the fact that they are opened for breakfast and the fact that they will gladly serve you their vegan dishes whenever... Ahhhh I am in love :-) I got an amazing breakfast tofu with mushroom and alfafa sprouts wrap and nice medium size coffee for S7.89!!!! Cornerstone, how about we have a lunch date? i just can't seem to get enough of you!

  • Emily L.

This place is the kind of eclectic, kinda weird place you would expect from a Clintonville deli. They serve a little bit of everything. Lots of sandwiches(both hot and cold), an awesome looking salad bar, soup, noodles, sushi, you name it. I had some pad Thai and it was a very large portion with shrimp and it was tasty. They have good options for vegetarians/vegans as well, if you happen to fall into either category. One thing I loved was that when you order tea, they give you an awesome mug to drink it out of and we all thought it was funny...I don't know why, it just seemed hysterical. The people working here seemed friendly and overall it was a very clean space. I could see myself spending time here reading on a Saturday afternoon.

I first discovered their salads in college and have been a big fan ever since. Their dressings are home made (they'll let you sample their unique flavors) and all ingredients are fresh. You can get a huge custom salad for just $5! It pains me to think people actually go to places like Wendys for a salad instead. How many times can I say salad... They also have a great variety of sandwiches, both hot and cold. Get it on a fresh bagel if they have any left! It's a seat yourself, mini-cafeteria-esque atmosphere. Whether you're dining in or on the go, the staff is super accommodating and you'll never have to wait long to get the goods!

I've been a regular customer and never ordered anything I didn't like, from bagels and sandwiches to pad thai and tempura bowl. I'm never disappointed. What made me give the 5 stars is specifically the affordable price, compared to the same type of dishes in other restaurants, especially the Asian foods. The service is good and friendly too. Highly recommended for a casual hangout small or large.

This review is long coming as the Cornerstone is one of my favorite places in Columbus. They have a wonderful assortment of different types of food to enjoy including salads, sushi, sandwiches, breakfast foods, and more. They pretty much have everything that I love in life. My favorite among the menu items is the tuna melt served on the three cheese bagel. The tuna salad they use for the melt is quite nice, and it's served open faced with a tomato on top. I've had this sandwich far more times than I'd like to admit. Close runners up (also sandwiches because well they are great) are the Chicken Caesar and the hawaiian (I can't remember the second word in the name). The service here is also excellent. They are always courteous and very polite and have your order ready swiftly. I've yet to have a bad customer experience at the Cornerstone and I very much doubt I ever will.

I have a soft spot for random hole-in-the-wall restaurants, especially when they serve up fantastic food at a reasonable price!! Cornerstone serves up anything from delicious sandwiches served on a fresh bagel to good old sushi (yeah, they serve a little bit of everything). the fact that there menu seems somewhat random may scare people away, but I am here to tell you all of the items are delicious, no matter how eclectic they may be. They have a great, fresh salad bar. And the best part of that is a small sized salad can be an entire meal! I recommend any of the bagel sandwiches that are toasted or any of their stir frys. So add this to your list of must visits and maybe you will run into me there since it has become my go-to in Clintonville.

Living in San Fran I had a personal rule whereby I wouldn't eat at any Asian restaurant that served more than one type of food. I still hold to that rule when I travel, but in Columbus it simply doesn't work - most Chinese restaurants also serve Thai, most sushi restaurants also serve Korean BBQ, most Thai restaurants also serve Vietnamese, etc. Which brings me to Cornerstone, which serves all of the above then some, and Asian isn't even their focus! Rather, this is a deli/cafe with a substantial (and random) Asian side menu in addition to the more conventional sandwiches, salads, and soups. It's all rather odd, but surprisingly, everything I've had has been pretty decent (though I'm hesitant to try the sushi, which has quite a range of reviews here). My favorite dish is the chicken teriyaki rice bowl ($7). The first time I came I brought a laptop to do work, but even though there is wifi here it's not really the kind of place you'll want to linger in. It's isn't uncomfortable, but the furniture and ambiance are pretty bare-bones.

Yesterday was the first time coming here and I had to come back! The staff is very nice and the food is amazing. I got a general tso chicken and my boyfriend got the sesame chicken. The rice was perfect, not dry or sticky and the chicken was very well seasoned. We also got a few sandwiches and I'm very impressed with how many breads they offer.

THE best lunch or quick meal spot in the neighborhood. They have a kick ass make your own salad bar and I have yet to find a sandwich i don't like! They just added bubble tea too so even if you not hungry its a good spot to grad a drink before continuing your shopping in Clintonoville! Cant say enough about this place.

  • Liza V.

My go-to lunch spot during the work week. I'm never blown away when I order a sandwich or wrap. The cold wraps are pretty flavorless, and they try to covert that up by slipping on a by bunch of veggie cream cheese. But, I'm hooked on their Asian menu items. The sushi rolls are all priced very reasonably and I'm never disappointed. The spicy tuna roll is my usual order, though I've tried most of them that don't have eel or salmon on them. And the pad Thai! it's perfect, and cheap! you can get in and out with plenty of time left for a lunch break walk, and there is parking in the lot every.time i've needed it.

I could eat here everyday of my life. I've been a faithful customer since I was in 3rd grade. I'm well out of college now. It has gone through a few ownerships but by far this has been the best owner ever. He is so sweet and caring. He loves to joke. The salad bar is outrageous. For 7 dollars you can get whaever you want on a salad with chicken! Always so good and I can eat this all the time! I'm a LIFELONG customer!

I believe this used to be called the Mill Street Bagel Cafe, and I used to go here in the late 90's. Anyway, we had a great experience here last night. I got the General Tso's Rice Bowl, and I ordered it extra spicy. Cornerstone delivered on that one! It was very spicy and very delicious. I got a Coke as well, and the best part: the total was $8.01. That's fast food price for much better food.

  • Shea H.

Anyone else hate paying for a tiny salad? Well that's not the case here. I went here because a yelp review said they had big salads (a la Elaine Benes) and that reviewer was spot on. I got it to go and my little styrofoam box would barely close. The food could look a little fresher but besides that I think CD&C is a fine place to stop for lunch. Parking was a challenge.

I'm a fan! I got the club, some fresh fruit, and fries last week. The fries were good for $.99...can't complain there! My club sandwich, which was on wheat, was excellent. They give you plenty of meat! ;) The fresh fruit was all cheap fruits such as melons and pineapple. But that's the only thing I can complain about. I will be back to try more for sure!

You want a bagel, but the person you're with wants pad thai. That happens, right? Well, if so, now you'll know where to go. Cornerstone's food won't blow you away, but I haven't had anything particularly bad. Plus there's a couch and plenty of other seating available. It would be hard to imagine someone coming and not finding something serviceable. I suppose that is as good a reason as any for 3 stars.

This was my first time coming here even though I live right down the street. I had an everything veggie pizza bagel and it was amazing. I can't vouch for the other menu items, but from what I saw they looked really really good. The prices are very reasonable and the place is nice and small. Your food is brought out to you, but otherwise you have to get your own drinks and you pick your own table. The restaurant is right on High St. so you can sit next to the window and people watch while you eat. I would also add, since I have seen this in a lot of reviews, that the restaurant was very clean. The tables were all wiped down and the floor was mopped.

There is only one word that describes this restaurant, Awesome. The service is good and the food is great. The Ruben sandwich I ordered was piled high with excellent corned beef, it was the best I have had outside of New York city. My daughter ordered a Thai dish that was hot, spicy and very good. My son in law had the asagio beef sandwich which he loved. We will definitely be back.

Talk about a mix of cuisine and purpose all under one roof! Is it a breakfast place, salad bar, sandwich bar, sushi place or coffee shop? The answer is yes, yes, yes, yes and yes - plus some. Service is pretty stellar and the prices are pretty darn cheap. Like many others, I came here for a meeting and ended up staying to work for the free WiFi. All sorts of people come through here! In two hours I watched friends, families, book clubs and more come in here to dine and hang out. The variety of patrons was almost as varied as the menu itself. I tried the dragon sushi roll - not bad - but it looked way better than it tasted. Where was the eel!?

    (3)
  • Briden S.

The food is good, the service is not bad it's a walk up counter, what do you expect. The build your own salad bar is great, there are a lot to pick from for your salad! It is a nice place to work on your computer work, eat and have a simple yet satisfying meal. The bagels are made fresh that day, they are not the best but they are still good. They do get VERY pushy when it comes close to closing and they Want you out! I have yet to try their sushi, I am questioning the quality since this place has such a variety I feel that would be the one thing that could be bad.

DEREK: Cornerstone provides a wide variety of offerings on the menu. You should have no trouble finding something to tantalize your taste buds. Choose wisely cause not everything on the menu will make you scream for more... TROY: The first time here I ordered the Rice Bowl, I think it was Thai something something. It was over sauced to the point I really couldn't taste the other ingredients over the curry. I'll have to order a different bowl to give a better review of the Chinese part of this Deli. DEREK: I decided to go the good ole American route and get the Bagel Burger and Fries. I also had to try the salad just to see what all the the fuss was about. The burger was dry and possibly overdone with the toppings being sub par. The (onion) bagel was also dry and flavorless. I couldn't even taste the onion on the bagel - some sort of doughy lifeless frisbee thing. The salad bar and price is very good but it should be. You choose your favorite toppings and then put your favorite dressing on top. Well what's not to like except for the fact that the place is dirty and I just don't want to eat here. TROY: The choose-your-own salad bar looked pretty good so that would be something I'd like to try sometime. But who knows if I'll pass up the other good places around to eat? I had to try the Lox and Bagels, I love a good Jewish breakfast. Pretty good except make sure you tell them no lettuce, it may be their thing to do that but it ruins the sandwich! Really, lettuce on Lox-n-Bagels, NO! My bagel was dry too but I thought that's because it was over-toasted. DEREK: So Troy how was your sushi or fish stuff you got. Did you like the seaweed salad? TROY: Right, the Seaweed Salad is spot on! The brine that they use is just like my Grandmothers, tangy and sweet with a touch of spice. I would say that it's on par with Akai Hana. TROY: The sushi was fine. Fresh taste with good rice that was made that day (not refrigerated sushi rolls) and the tuna and salmon were great. The price was $7 for a roll of 6 pieces, so I wouldn't go here for sushi when Akai Hana has a lunch special of 3 rolls (6 pieces each) for $10. DEREK: Surprise of the visit was Troy wearing a T-Shirt in the middle of winter. I think his brain was still frozen from the Taco Nazo visit for telling me this place was a four star. Sorry man I just can't go that high on this place. TROY: I said this place had high reviews on Yelp, not that it was a four star restaurant. For Clintonville I like the option, but it just feels like this is a place with multiple personality disorder, or an identity crisis. Salad bar, sushi, bagels, burgers, wraps, breakfast, Chinese food, come on do a few this great not a bunch of things okay. This could appeal to the majority of people who want a huge variety of choices for lunch, or maybe I'm missing something they see? DEREK: If this was my local cafe I would have to give this place another try or two but its not and I won't. Troy will not get me to eat sushi nor will I recommend Cornerstone. TROY: If I'm in Clintonville and am craving a breakfast sandwich, I may consider going back for another try...maybe.

So, I've been sitting at cornerstone for 20 minutes. The thing I'm waiting for? One toasted bagel. I have seen people order 7 course meals and get them before I have gotten my bagel. Pros: Cheap Variety Close to me Cons: Awful service Dirty The bagel wasn't that good anyways So, come to cornerstone if you want to feel abandoned. I'm abandoning them.

  • Benjamin P.

That salad bar is dangerous! Everything always looks so good, so I end up with a conglomeration of veggies and cheeses and then sesame dressing. Ha! But it's my fault, and I'm never disappointed. And the sandwiches are killer, especially getting them on one of their stellar bagels. I used to go here a lot with my father when I was in high school and always had a good time. After I started OSU, I went a few times and noticed the quality and cleanliness started going downhill, although not to the point of making me not return. Maybe that's nostalgia talking though...

What a surprise. I was headed to NorthStar for breakfast but the line was too long so I stopped here. And- Am I glad I did. Parking is on the street, it is located right accross from Rag-O-Rama. I was a bit startled at first since in addition to bagels and a deli menu I saw sushi and stir fry offered. But it works. I ended up with a egg/cheese/bacon bagel. The bagel was very large and not too chewy to serve for a sandwich. The coffee is kept in hot-pots on a counter for self serve and they could barely keep up with the demand. I look forward to going back sometime. Especially if I am in the mood for noodle dish.

This was my second time eating here..and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. Considering the absolutely large range of food on their menu (salad bar, sushi, chicken sandwich), it's crazy that the food I chose was completely on point. I had the portobello mushroom wrap with a side of fresh edamame. Practical? Not really a fabulous combo, no. Delicious? Yes. I will definitely be returning to try out that infamous salad bar.

Cornerstone is a reliable spot for decent food at fair prices. The service here is really fast, the bathroom (women's) is clean, and it's a decent hangout spot with free wifi, though it can get noisy during busy hours. I've enjoyed the fried tofu stir-fry, fried shrimp sushi roll, and california sushi roll. I've always asked the rolls to be spicy, which means a drizzle of spicy mayo sauce on top. The stir-fry comes with a good amount of vegetables (carrots, onion, zucchini, broccoli), which I appreciate. I've also had their chicken pad thai, which tasted heavy on the fish sauce, but I resolved this with more squeezes of lime juice. The coffee here is terrible - do not get it.

We ordered two of the rice bowls and they were really good. I'm always on the look out for good Pad Thai, especially delivered, and this certainly fit the bill. The delivery was pretty fast as well. Now that I've tried them I'll definitely be ordering from them again. I'm a little mad at myself that I've waited this long to order from them.

Had a veggie sandwich on one of the cheesy bagels. It was WONDERFUL! Just tons of flavor, thanks to some kind of yummy spread. Very filling too. I liked how the location is split into two dining areas. The one to the right was much quieter and perfect for a Saturday lunch with the hubster. I would really like to go back and try some of the other things they have to offer here. Its really nice that you can park on the other side of the side street too. Lots of great shops around, so its a great way to spend the afternoon!

I haven't been to the Cornerstone since they started selling sushi...and I don't know if I would ever order sushi from there, but there are several things I love about this place, and I try to make a return trip when I'm in town visiting. I love their salad bar. They have everything you could really want to put in a salad- the ingredients are fresh and delicious and they have great dressing options. I've had a few of their wraps and warm sandwiches, which are always very good. I love their big bagels and their breakfast options as well. Cornerstone is a great little neighborhood joint with reasonable prices and fresh food.

  • Janelle G.

Like other people have mentioned, the salad bar is amazing, especially considering the price. I always get the spicy salmon roll too. I would say the sushi is slightly better quality than what you would get at Kroger but not as good as most of the other sushi restaurants in town. I will say though, the service is hit or miss. Sometimes I come in and have a great experience. Sometimes I come in and wait forever, sit at a sticky table and some of the employees kids are running around the place screaming. Still, I feel like I'll make a lot of allowances for my favorite local place. Most of the time it's perfectly fine.

Today I visited cornerstone to get a sandwich for carry out, which I do often. The food is pretty good. The people are nice. What was unique about today is that there was a wall of rain pouring from the sky. I ran from my car into the deli, bought my sandwich and ventured back out. I jumped over the small rivers that were forming on either side of the street and jumped over the wall that surrounds the parking lot across the street. I was moving very quickly to avoid getting soaked. When I landed, the bottom of my bag, damp from the rain, burst open and my sandwich dropped into a puddle that might as well have been Lake Erie. I walked back inside with my soggy sandwich and they replaced it for free. I insisted that I should pay. The gentleman at the counter insisted otherwise. Or at least I think so, I can never really understand what he's saying, but he's usually smiling when he say it so whatever. Nice people.

The best place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The only people who don't like this place are usually racist. Sorry, but it's true (the reviews here that state "I can't even understand what they're saying", REALLY? Reeeeally?) ! It's run by a mostly Asian employee staff, which means they KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEIR FOOD. The rice bowls are amazing, the sushi is knock-out for a deli and they even have standard deli-fare (burgers, sandwiches, wraps, bagels, etc.) that are all out of this world. Our favorites are: the Spicy Tempura Shrimp Sushi Rolls, the McClure Wrap with Extra Dressing, the Big Cliff, the Tempura Rice Bowl and their Reubens on Rye -- not to mention their salad bar is fantastical and their bagels are New York to-die-for. They will make anything to your specifications and they're especially sweet about it, even if you ask for different bread (i.e., ordering a wrap and asking for it on rye) or a different side (i.e., edamame instead of fries on the side of your burger). You can get carry out or dine in. The atmosphere in the dining room is reminiscent of New York or San Francisco delis, and perfectly relaxed, open and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about Cornerstone. Columbus is spoiled for having it, and such a wonderful, kind staff to run it.

I have eaten there since it first opened up after the bank closed. My best friend had a consignment shop 2 doors down and we ate there all the time. When I lived in 3 different places over the years this was it for breakfast. Salad bar has been great; bagels are top notch and the boss still recognizes me after moving to Marengo. Even when going out if town south of Cols we would hit it for breakfast.

HAILS TO CORNERSTONE CAFE!!!! first and foremost, food is great! I personally am hooked on the buffalo chicken sandwich, to the point I have not made my way around the menu much beyond it, however all the other items I have sampled were great as well. considering the quality of the food, the prices are excellent. and by excellent, I mean not overpriced for the sake of hype or ambience like with o so many other spots that are ranted about these days. its simple, to the point and effective. great food, good prices, and very simple service (which I HIGHLY appreciate) service is very quick too! all around I have nothing bad to say about this place at all, only praise. I find myself here at least twice a week for lunch/dinner highest recommendations go to cornerstone cafe. I hear the salads are great too ;)

Love this cafe for lunch. I have been here several times simply because the choice of salad items was extensive. I'm very picky about whats in my salad and Cornerstone has more than enough. Service has always been friendly. They also have sandwich items which my husband has ordered and has been equally as pleased. I once ordered a breakfast sandwich during lunch (I'm not one to think 'breakfast' should only be eaten 'at breakfast') and it wasn't an issue at all with the staff. I was happily accommodated. Definitely my go to eatery if I'm in the area.....and even if I'm not.

Deli + coffee +sushi? This is such a strange place. From what I gather, the deli items are pretty good. This also seems like a good place to get some work done (free Wi-Fi). However, outlets are sparse if you want to bring a laptop. I got the sushi. PLEASE do not get the sushi. It's not worth it. The prices are the same as at other places...but the quality is horrible. Not fresh at all...and made my stomach a little queasy. My friend got it too (we were both very curious) and she also said her stomach felt weird afterwards. My other friend loves this place and got a lox bagel and loved it. So...stick to the salad bar and sandwich items. NO NO NO SUSHI!

I would be a regular but I always forget to check in. I love the grilled cheese and for that matter any sandwich I have ever had. I love that I can have salad my way without the open salad bar concept. I would suggest that someone clean the bottle of the toilet and not just the inside bowl.

I have eaten here about a dozen times over the past few years. Lots of choices and the prices are comparably low. I was always a big fan of the salad bar which is $4-5 for very generous portion. For the price, the food is very tasty (besides the bagels which are a joke...more like white bread loafs). One big problem though. I started noticing how dirty this place was on my last few trips this summer and was grossed out. It doesn't seem like cleanliness or sanitation are a priority from what I've seen of the food handling. The last time I went, there were about a dozen flies living inside the salad bar containers. Yuck.
