Sangria was decently good but not the best I've had. I did enjoy the Mediterranean salad and the thin crust pizza is very good. It's a good place to stop before hitting up a concert at the LC down the street.

Their chicken BBQ pizza is delicious! One of the best I've had. I definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the Arena District. But remember, they don't do happy hour on special event days... bummer.

As we trudged around late at night after a Jackets game looking for something acceptable to eat, we found Boston's and figured we'd give it a try. Well - it's an American-style chain, and if you've ever been in one, you know what to expect. Big menu, everything homogenous and sanitized. That being said, they had a large beer selection on tap for being a chain. There are plenty of breweries in the area with a much bigger, better selection, though, so if you're just in the market for that, go elsewhere. The food was not something I'd come here specifically for, but after an event at Nationwide I'd be happy to eat here. We had the steak skewers and for being wrapped in bacon, they were really undersalted. Easily fixed with the salt shaker, and the bleu cheese dressing they gave us was really garlicky, which I quite liked! We shared the flat iron flatbread. The crust was bland (I wish they hadn't taken away that bleu cheese from the app so I could have dipped it) but the actual flatbread itself was pretty tasty. Service was fine for me, but it was just a preseason game, and a Sunday night to boot. We'll see how it looks with a packed Nationwide house.

Great location, good pizza, decent service. There's nothing spectacular about this place but there's nothing terribly wrong here either. The location is ideal for catching a quick bite before or after a hockey/baseball game or having a quick beer before seeing a show. There are better pizza places and sports bars in town but this is a decent combination of the two.

Good place to hang out. Pretty good food. I liked my fish tacos. Haven't tried the pizza but looked so good and my cousin said it was. Chicken was a little too sour though the spicy garlic. I'd come back!

We got pizza to go: came with Parmesan, red pepper, and plates. Staff was helpful. The pizza itself was nothing special: not great but not bad. The Large had 12 slices but they were smaller than average.

Great happy hour! Two friends and I each ordered the $3 margarita, cactus chips (i believe that's what they are called) for an appitizer which are $2 off and a medium bbq/chicken pizza. Each of our bills came to $12 for everthing!! The pizza was really tasty, if you are a pizza crust person you will love the buttery crust. The cactus chips were so full of flavor and the margarita hit the spot too. I will be going back for their happy hour. Keep in mind they do not honor their happy hour on game nights!

Boston 's is our all time favorite bar in the Arena District! Perfect spot for pre/post Clippers & Blue Jackets games! The bartenders are always incredibly nice & helpful & the pizza is really very good. Definitely a must if you are in the area!

Love the round bar! It is very inviting right when you enter. The pizza is great. Seems to have a wait a lot of the time. Bar side HUGE! Dining side not so much.

Spare you time and money. Service is inattentive, waitresses on the rude side, just not worth it. Main dish and salad came to the table at the same, when asked if she could take the main dish back (due to space constraints) the eye rolled. Later (about twenty min later) on when she noticed that I was done with my salad she brought me the same main dish... Yup cold and basically greasy and tasting less then horrible. To say the least this one was for the books of real bad lunch. Save you money and go else where. Let's not forget... No refine for the group .... Six of us; nice ha

This place is pretty good. The food is good, not amazing. Prices are on average with other locations (for their lunch options anyway). I've gotten the "Nooner" meal, which gets you an individual pizza and a salad for about $7-8. I've also gotten their chicken sandwiches. The worst value is the soup & sandwich combo. I got the Lobster Bisque (AMAZING) with the beef sandwich, and although both were soooo good the portions were tiny. It left me sitting there watching everyone else continue eating because my lunch was so small. Lunchtime can get extremely busy since it's one of the cheaper, nice places that are good for work lunches. Although the waiters seem to be trying to give everyone good service, there are just too many people. Expect a weekday lunch to take an 1.5 hours or more.

Great fried pickles and peppers, pepperoni twist, calzones and pizza. The kids loved the place. The service was awesome and the price was reasonable. We will eat there again.

Meh...pizza really wasn't that great. The pizza sauce had a flavor that wasn't memorable and the toppings were basic. We ordered garlic knots and the were greasy and tasted very little like garlic. The pomodoro dipping sauce was good. It saved the garlic knots. I've been here before and got the buffalo chicken sliders. These were much better than the pizza. If I come back I will order another sandwich and not pizza.

If you've been to Boston's Pizza in Canada, this Boston's is a spitting image of those. And for us Americans, who haven't spent as much time in Canada, this is one of the largest Canadian chains, as large as our Chilis or Friday's (yuck). This downtown Columbus location is exactly what you'd get in Canada: chain food with average service. Why come here if the pizza and apps are average? Simple. They have tons of alcohol of tap and plenty of TVs to watch sporting events before or after your game. Other than that, there's no reason to come here. Even in Columbus, you can find much better pizza, but Boston's will likely produce a far better atmosphere. It's a fun place to be.

The servers are nice, but I am ALWAYS disappointed when I come here. This last visit we ordered appetizers and drinks - the bacon-wrapped steak skewers were surprisingly delicious, but the nachos were a total joke. We had 14 - no joke - 14 nachos on our deluxe nachos with chicken. Unless you're looking to get tiny portions and a big bill, avoid this place like the plague.

Number of visits: ~3 Most recent visit: I forget exactly when This place isn't bad, but it's not special either. To me, the pizza is over-priced. Obviously location is a factor there. I will say that If you're looking to get gourmet style pizza, this is a reasonable option. When it comes to pizza, I tend to stick with the more straightforward cheese and sauce based options. (Adriatico's is my favorite pizza in Columbus.) The beer selection is mediocre, and the service has tended to be on the slow side. I'd suggest checking out somewhere in the Arena District other than here for a good bite. It's a decent place to share a few pizzas with a bunch of friends, but even then it's still on the pricey side.

The only reason one should eat here is because of its proximity to Huntington Park. It's the only decent place within walking distance where you can grab dinner before a Clippers game. However, there are a few items that are palatable and the happy hour is reasonable ($3 margaritas!). I recommend that fish tacos (super awesome) and really any of the pizzas (Florentine is my favorite). Though I'm usually a central-Ohio thin crust fan, Boston's pan-style pizza is decent once in a while. Warning: service is pretty much hit or miss.

I had the Jalapeño & Onion Straw Burger for lunch & it was delicious. The garden salad was nothing special though. My friend had The Baked Lasagna; it was kind of small & he wasn't impressed. The menu has plenty of items to chose from. Overall, it's not a bad spot to hit up, especially after an event from one of the surrounding venues.

Boston's reminds me a lot of a Chili's or Ruby Tuesday like atmosphere. Nothing really stands out for me. Also, I'm surprised this place does well, because minus a Clippers' or Jackets' game, it's hardly ever busy. Even on a football Sunday. Maybe it has a better lunch crowd for those working in the area, but I don't know. The pizza is pretty mediocre, along with most of the apps I've tried. They do have some decent domestic beer specials. This place is good to pre-game an arena sporting event or to stop in if you're playing hockey down at the Ice Haus, but otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Giant beers and really good pizza. Mike and I decided to see if we could procure tickets to the Jackets/Bruins jackets on Saturday. We were shocked to see the crowd as from recent shots of the arena attendance you could shoot a gun and not hit anyone. Guess winning fixes a few things. Anywho..we wondered into Boston's for the first time and scored a spot along the bar wall. some nice guys sitting at the bar helped us get the bartenders attention. Tons of tvs! once we got closer to the game time crowd thinned and we took a seat at the bar and ordered the Italian pizza. peppori, sausage, onion, yellow peppers, was very good. nice crust. Service at the bar was weird. the 3 folks behind the bar did a phenomenal job keeping it clean and clearing glasses but would it kill you to look up at your customer? every time they took a mug or glass you would think you would get asked if you want another. Time after time this happened to us or others around us. It was almost like they were making money on how many glasses they could clear and clean in an hour. Have yet to be really impressed by any place right by the stadium but would be willing to give Boston's another shot.

Fiona and I when to Boston's for a late dinner this evening after a bad experience at Yellow Brick. This place has a sports bar mentality, so it is a little loud and a little less organized. But the food is really good, especially the Florentine pizza. The beer is cold and the wait staff is fairly good. I haven't had really bad service there yet.

Walking distance from the Marriott and just a sidewalk away from the Clipper Stadium, this place is a great place to grab a few drinks and some pizza after watching a baseball game! Last time I was at this location there were 2 areas within, the pub tables and chairs situated around the bar where there are large flat screens throughout and also a back room area where there are booths and less noise. Pizza was pretty good, we had a create your own meatlover's flatbread pizza, a Margherita, and a Spicy Chicken Pesto!

It's funny, because the parent company (Boston Pizza) is basically the equivalent of Applebees up in Canada - and when I go to one up there, I usually don't have a problem. But at the Columbus location here in the US, I have to say I haven't been impressed. At lunch or on days where there isn't much going on around the arena, service and food are generally average to good, but any time I've tried to go there on game days or when Nationwide is hosting a concert or other large event, the food and service have both suffered. One one occasion I was with a party of 6 that was seated at a table for 30 minutes without so much as someone asking to take our drink orders before we got up and left. On 2 other occasions, food came out either burned, or worse, dangerously undercooked. (I ordered a chicken parm that came out pink and disgustingly squishy when I cut into it) - each time I reported problems to their management, they offered me a $25 gift card and asked for me to try them again. After being served the raw chicken? 3 strikes, and they're OUT.

Underwhelming to say the least. Went in after a concert and ordered 2 pizzas that friends and I shared. There is absolutely nothing special about this "gormet" pizza. It is no better than pizza hut or any other delivery pizza. Skip Bostons and either go somewhere else, or just have pizza delivered.

A good place to relax and have some beverages before a concert, or Clippers or Blue Jackets game. The food is...mediocre, but the drinks are strong and there's a good patio with some decent people watching up Nationwide Blvd. I'd get there early if you plans later in the evening - every time I've gone, it takes a wee bit too long to get my drinks, dinner or check and I'm often running out quickly to get to my show/game on time!

I finally have found it !!!!! After attending the Columbus Bluejackets games and being disappointed in the selection of pre-game locations for a quick bite to eat and drinks, I finally was able to try Boston's. I knew Boston's existed, but because of time constraints, I was never able to make it there before it got packed. This time I beat the crowd. Our group was seated and we ordered our pizza and a pitcher of beer. Cold Miller Lite & hot pizza, what a great combo before a hockey game !!! Our pizza was hot and not overly greasy, had a great blend of flavors among it. We stayed seated, had a good time, and finished off a few drinks. I suggest staying at your table, the bar area does get very crowded and hard to navigate. There is a good mix of people who were there as well, mid-20's, families, to folks in their 40's to 50's. Best of all, everyone was there to just have a good time before the game. So let's see, we have good food, cold beer, good times with friends, what else is missing???? Oh yeah, the cost....out group of 4 was able to walk out the door with tip, pizza, and beer all for around $30. Boston's will be my new Bluejackets hangout.

been there twice, both visits were great. The Sweet Thai Chili wing starters were great! Very unique, with excellent balance and flavor. I would go back just because of them! We also thought their Extreme Mushroom pizza was awesome! No other pizza place in the city makes pie like they do. Highly recommended. But just an observation...this place has a big bar, and gets rather noisy in the evening/night, so if youre looking for a romantic dinner, be advised.

The rating is for the food / restaurant only as the bar area are looked like it might be a fun hangout. We wanted to try this place because someone told us how great the fries were. We ordered a basket of fries as an appetizers and they brought out a 9 inch plate with about 20 very average tasting fries on it. Here is what we ordered for dinner: Boneless tenders, breading was very hard and cold, mild wing sauce tasted horrible, not freshly made. Buffalo chicken sliders, chicken cooked well, again sauce ruined it. Caesar Salad, crisp lettuce but dressing was super vinegary. Santa Fe Salad, chicken was cold, rubber like and tasted more like turkey. Most dishes were $10-$15 and the overall atmosphere and food quality was similar to a TGIF. Server was good!

The best miller lite ever!!!! Thats about all that I feel this place has going for it. Diet Pepsi: $2.12, My mushroom swiss burger (asked for medium) came out well done. It also came with tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo already on the bun. If I'm not mistaken, I think is a no no for this type of burger or at least they should've had it on the side?. I substituted fries for 'red roasted potatoes' and it was more like mashed au gratin-ish thing. I'd give two stars, but if burgers don't come out right--I get a little stingy on my stars.

Echoing a few others on here who've commented about an "inattentive" staff, my first and only experience there was kind of annoying. When ordering drinks, the waitress brought more pops than asked for instead of waters, which cost more. We let that go. We then told the waitress we wanted to order a FRIENDS sized pizza. My friend said that 3 times in a row to her. She literally repeated "large?" every time he said this. So we assumed, sure, large, whatever I guess that's what they call it. The server brought us out our pizza and after we had divided some up we realized we had more pieces than the menu said, but thought maybe they cut it differently, so we went ahead and ate. When I got the bill they had charged us for the size up from what we tried to order. I brought this to her attention and she says "Ohhhh, I thought you said Family size. Let me see if I can fix this." She came back telling us they could take $2 off, that we absolutely told her we wanted a "large" (which is seriously not even an option by that name in the menu) and that we went ahead and ate it anyway knowing it was wrong, so they couldn't charge us down anymore. That just seriously bugged me. I'm not one to ever really raise a stink about anything and I'm in customer service so I know the customer is not always right, but this was obnoxious. You just blamed us for whatever that was when you basically ordered our pizza for us? Our bad for not returning the pizza I guess though. Other than that experience, the pizza was alright. We got the Ultimate Pepperoni I believe it was called. It was greasy and had 2 kinds of pep on it. Regular round and the little cubes that are on cheap totino's pizzas. So nothing really ultimate or gourmet about it. Although I did like the crust. The atmosphere is just what you would see in a BDubs basically. A lot of TVs. My review is more about a spoiled experience than the food so I apologize, but it put a small damper on an otherwise really great evening.

This was a pretty good place! They have a fair amount on tap in terms of beer selection, and it is a great place to go before a hockey game or event at the arena. The Tuscan pizza is pretty darn good, and the chicken parm also looked good (I didn't have it but someone at my table did). Between two people, we barely finished a small - it is about 10". That should give you an idea of how much it is. Wait staff is great - a person at my table didn't like the beer and he asked if he could get another one because he really didn't like it. They said no problem, switched it out and didn't charge him a dime for the one he didn't like. Extra bonus - the waitress did separate checks. Rock on. Overall, a good sports bar to check out!!

The main reason I dine here is that it is close to my office. The food is OK, but nothing special. I like the lunch pizza and salad combo, plus it makes me chuckle when it shows on the bill as an '8" Nooner.' My main complaint about this place is the service. I realize every time I've been was during crazy downtown lunch hours, but in the handful of times I've been there I've only had one good service experience. During one occasion, I was seated at a booth right by the kitchen, I asked to be relocated. The second table was right by the entrance. So, both places were well trafficked areas making it hard to relax. If Ted's Montana Grill just down the street is already full, this place will do the trick. Just not one of those places I really ever get excited about.

***One of Columbus's Best Kept Secrets*** Whenever I am in Columbus's famed Arena District I make sure to stop into Boston's. While it gets busy on the weekends (especially if there is an event at Nationwide Arena), I prefer to hit this gourmet pizza spot for lunch. They have a lunch special called the "Nooner" that consists of a side salad, beverage, and a (rather large) personal sized pizza for only $5.00! Come in and grab a seat at the bar, watch some Sports Center, and grab a Nooner, just like all the young professionals buzzing around the Arena District! "

For a "gourmet pizza place", they sure do have some mediocre pie. I just didn't like their pizza, it was very average to me. The true knock was their appetizers. I went with a group of people, so we ordered a little bit of everything. Straight from the freezer bag to the fryer type of fair, and not that good. They did have big 32 oz beers, and I can see the appeal of going here before a Blue Jackets game, I just didn't care for the food.

Boston's Pizza moved into Columbus' Arena District earlier this year; and, having given them most of the year to get past opening jitters, this Sunday we decided to give them a try. First impression: Not bad, generic sports bar. There are tOSU and Blue Jackets pictures, posters, and random sports art framed and placed strategically on the walls. Taking a look around: you're greeted with bright blues, fairly generic colored glass shaded spotlights on the ceiling, and blonde wood all over the place. There are plenty of flat panel TVs, and they are placed well throughout. We ordered two Labatt Blues (on draft, $4 for 16oz - good and cold), which came in nice chilled glasses. The menu seemed to have a wide variety of food: pizzas (of course), pasta, a couple soups, plenty of dinner salads, wraps, hamburgers and a decent drink menu. There's nothing on this menu to offend the American palate, and honestly, is generic enough. It's what you'd expect from a chain. Think Champs, think Applebee's, think Uno's. We ordered a small Rustic pizza, which is topped with spicy Italian sausage, red onions, green peppers, diced tomatoes, freshly grated parmesan, herbs, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and side salads with blue cheese dressing. Here is where strike 1 occurs: The table of four finishing up when we sat down, got up and left before we ordered drinks. We've now ordered drinks, received them, and ordered dinner; the table and its dirty dishes have not been bussed. Now, this isn't a big deal -but I don't really enjoy dining 2 feet from a table of dirty dishes, wafting their food odors over in my direction. Keep that table in mind as you read, because it's not going to be bussed the entire time we're in the restaurant. Back to strike 1. The food runner has apparently not communicated well with the waitress, because she wanders our two salads over to the newly seated table of 4, sitting about 6 feet closer to the entrance than our table. These 4 still have menus, and are actively reading them, but this doesn't stop our intrepid runner from walking directly to them and saying "salads, blue cheese?" They, of course, did not want the salads. Our runner turned and noticed the two people staring at her, visually eating up the salads. She promptly came over and said, with a smile, "salads, blue cheese?" That's us! On to the salads. I think the kitchen found a bag of Dole pre-mixed Iceberg salad, which they cut open and dumped into our bowls. The square-cut tomato bits, 3 rings of red onion, and 2 croutons, accompanied by 3 cherry tomatoes and a cup of dressing, surely came from the lowest effort kitchen Not to be outdone, my plate came with a nice touch of leftover chocolate fudge - either from our food runner's hand, or having not made it out of the dishwasher all the way clean. Luckily, it was on the underside of the plate's rim and didn't appear to ever have touched my salad. Just my finger when I moved the bowl. A quick swipe with the cloth napkin and all is well. Although, I think Steak and Shake called - they want their salad back. Here comes strike 2: Our pizza is wandering across the dining room, a different runner this time, and yes, YES! It's heading straight for the same four top again. The four top refuses the pizza, and the runner makes a prompt 180 and scoots back to the kitchen. Darn. About 2 minutes later, our waitress heads towards us with the pizza. The pizza's not a strike, and that does save Boston's from being out at home plate. This isn't "good" pizza, and I won't be going back. But, that's not to say there's anything really wrong with it. The pizza was warm, not hot (maybe losing some heat on its scenic route to our table), and appeared to be hand tossed crust. The crust was not sweet, nor savory, just there to hold the pizza up. Boston's sauce is sweet, with a bit of basil in the background. Not a whole lot to it, just sweet sauce. The pizza was guilty of carrying the exact same diced tomatoes that our salads had, with a couple big chunks of rough chopped green pepper, and a couple big slices of onion. Sausage had been sprinkled liberally around the pie, and there was some parmesan dashed about. We ate all of it, and agreed that the 10" pizza was a good amount of food for two people. The tab was about $25 before tip, and was placed and picked up fairly quickly by our quiet server. Give Boston's a 4 of 10. Nothing offensive, maybe a small mistake, and not a darn thing worth remembering.

I was not sold on this place. The Beer was bad... but I won't hold that to them. (Miller Lite)... I forget this is a Bud Lite Town. The Burger was O.K. I didn't fill happy here... for some odd reason.

I am "trying" to be a Vegan but I also travel a lot so it has not been easy. So I heavily depend on the management's willingness to accomodate special requests. These guys had a great service and great food. I had a cheeseless, whole weat veggie pizza. It was fantastic and delicious. The waitress told me that this was her favorite food. True or not, it helped me save face in front of my colleagues. Manager came by at end of our meal to ask how our experience was. all in all great service and great food. We ate in the Bar area and it was a nice sports bar atmosphere but not overwhelming with testostrone.

A sports bar that puts it's culinary emphasis on pizza...why didn't I think of that? Sure, you can get pizza at places like Winking Lizard and Panini's, but when have you gotten one at a bar that's got more TV sets than it does beers on tap that tasted like it wasn't an afterthought. Boston's to the rescue! There's not much to write about the atmosphere here other than that it's a sports bar in the Arena District. Use your imagination and it's probably right- Bud Light and Blue Jackets signs everywhere, a bar in the middle of the dining area, and a preponderance of sports viewing options from all angles. Good enough for me. As for the pizza, I'm happy to say that it's far better than I expected when I first ate here. If it wasn't for the subtle hints of garlic and spices that underlined the crust and sauce respectively, this would be just an average pie, but I'd be confident in my ability to pick a slice from Boston's out of a lineup based on those attributes alone. The mozzarella is generous as well, which is always appreciated by this admitted cheese addict. The prices are nothing out of the realm of what you'd pay at any other establishment in the Arena District, so that's A-OK in my book as well. One word of warning- the pepperoni here gave me one hellacious case of heartburn that lasted well in to the evening I spent hitting up the bars in Park Street. I would not recommend anyone eating more than one slice with this topping if you're planning on doing anything else for the next 6 hours or so. It might ruin your life. Other than that, Boston's gets my vote!

Overall, a great place to have lunch or dinner while in the Arena district. Loved the curved copper bar; only negative is that 2 of the TVs in the area weren't working. Drinks were cold, pasta was hot and atmosphere was nice. Lots to choose from on the menu, from pizza, salads, pasta and burgers. Absolutely someplace we'll return to!

First time here over the weekend with the hubby. Ok, it was date night and we wanted to get dinner at a local restaurant while we went to the movies afterwards. We were quickly seated and got our food rather quickly too. (Kind of odd for a Saturday night.) But I heard this is place is hoppin' when there's an event going on at Nationwide Arena. I love Boston's. They have an extensive menu and everything I've tried is delicious. They also have great beers on tap, including local and craft. I've taken picky out of town guests here and they loved it. My coworkers and I come for lunch maybe twice a month and never have a bad experience. The nooner is a great lunch option, but the flat bread pizza is great too. The caesar salad is awesome and I often get the twisted mac & cheese with meatballs. It's a great location and even the bar is nice to sit at. We love to eat on the patio, but it's a bit small and can get crowded. There's also often a wait.

I must say, I was pretty excited to try Boston's. But I was rather disappointed. My girlfriend got a pizza which was okay but I got a Caesar steak salad. It was horrible. I added a picture of it. I'm not one to cause anything but the steak was dry and flavorless. Doubt I'll come back.

I had the Mac and cheese. Lots cheese, and very saucy. Kudos for the bread stick also. Think it was fresh out of grandma's oven. I had a side Caesar salad which was covered with parmasean cheese. The server was very attentive and polite. I'll be back.

Alright Food I have been to Boston's 3 times. the best time was when it was not crowded, the worst was over The Arnold weekend when it was super packed. the food is tasty from the appetizers to the pizza to some of the other entrees. There are plenty other pizza places or signature entree places I would take over Boston's but its menu variety is good for groups with diverse tastes. the staff is good and pleasant.

We went for dinner before a show at the LC a couple nights ago. The restaurant was steady, but not slammed. Our party of four was sat within 3 minutes. However, we were sat by the angriest, rudest woman I've ever met. This woman, who was larger than life, kept yelling across the restaurant to the host stand, "Hey! What number?". Any guests who were waiting thought she was yelling at them. When she sat us, she trudged forward to our table, threw down the menus, and walked away without ever speaking or making eye contact. I gave her a "thank you", without response. The food was ok. My wife's chicken slider was a chicken tender that filled up about 1/3 of the bun. A couple of us ordered pizza, and we asked for pizza fixings, and the server didn't know what we were talking about. I explained that we wanted red pepper and parmesan. I also asked what hot sauce they had. He said they had Franks, so I told him that was good. He brought Tabasco. Also, no happy hour during "special events". I guess a pre-season game across the street is special. There is nothing special about Boston's, and we'll be recommending all of our patrons at the hotel to eat somewhere else.

I eat at this restaurant because of its convenient location to Nationwide Arena and Huntington Park. It is a nice place to meet friends before a Blue Jackets or Clippers game. They also have a large menu of salads, pizzas, pasta dishes, sandwiches and burgers that sure to please everyone. My favorite item on the menu is the flat bread pizzas. Always plenty of food for one person. Their beer and drink menu is pretty standard and comprehensive. Overall this is a pretty typical bar/restaurant that is a good place to meet friends before a sporting event downtown.

I went here the other day for lunch with a few coworkers of mine and we all ordered "The Nooner" which is an individually sized pizza with one topping (extras for .89) and your choice of either a house or Caesar salad. I have to say I'm pretty picky when it comes to pizza considering as a Columbusite for the last near-12 years of my life, I've grown accustomed to higher standards (i.e. HoundDog's and Mikey's)...but, I must admit this pizza was really good. I liked the crust a lot. Maybe it was the perfect texture of crispy and soft on the inside? Who knows...but either way, the price was good too. I'll definitely be back again for lunch. With their outdoor patio I will look to not only get my pizza on but my OMG-I'm-so-white-I-need-help tan on.

Pizza Burger, great in concept horrible execution. The burger was a charred briquette wrapped in a pizza. Sent back and removed from my bill. The only saving grace it a great wait staff and cold beer although having a very vanilla selection.

If you like Pizza Hut, and don't mind spending a few dollars more for basically the same pizza but with enhanced ambiance and location, then you'll love Boston's. Otherwise you'll be underwhelmed. (The service was also quite inattentive the one time I was here, but that may have been aberration.)

But remember, they don't do happy hour on special event days... bummer.

Boring food. Nothing bad, but it's all so cliché. The location is awesome, so they do good business, but if this place was even at a average location I imagine they would struggle. It's a sports bar that serves bar food - so fried, covered in cheese, bacon, ranch or all of the above is expected. Just all average and nothing memorable. There are so many great places to eat within just a mile or two of Boston's - try another place.

The pizza here tastes too similar to Pizza Hut. Boring menu, boring pizza. For the price, I would have much rather went to Pizza Hut.

I'm not exactly who Boston Pizza's marketing to. First, I can't stand chains, and this is about as "chain" as it gets in its atmosphere. And I like interesting food. Nothing seems less interesting to me than a Canadian pizza chain. I came in because I wanted some place to drink a beer before going to Lifestyle Condom Pavilion, and this is very convenient. I just had to mention my surprise at the beer selection. They had Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster on tap, their double IPA, for something like $4 for a 16oz pour. They had a couple of other really good taps as well, so I actually came back after the concert for some food and more value beer. The food was roughly what I expected. I got some kind of queso dip, and it had very little flavor and was served with these really thick chips that just sort of tasted like bread. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. The best part though, was watching an unknowing 60-something guy come in and get a taste of the Lake Erie Monster. The bartenders appeared to know almost nothing about the beer, so they had suggested it because the guy said something stupid, or maybe he asked about it. He spent the next 5 minutes complaining to his group while they waited for the table about what a terrible beer it was, and talked about how great Sam Adams was the one time he had it, and that he was happy to drink it again. And that's sort of the crowd and food I would expect here: white bread, in the box, and no surprises. But it shouldn't surprise you to hear that about this place. What the hell do you expect?

We really enjoy Boston's for a casual place to hang out and enjoy drinks, pizza, and appetizers. There is a happy hour, which includes a discount on the very tasty collection of appetizers - a few that our crowd has enjoyed include the Chips & Queso with Spicy Chicken, the Boston's Nachos, and the Boston's Cheese Fries. There is a nice selection of "Masterpiece" pizzas, and we have enjoyed all the ones we have tried, including the Florentine, the Venetian, and the Double Meat & Peppers. By far, our favorite, and the one we frequently return to, is the Sicilian. The blend of meats and veggies is delicious, and the addition of fresh chopped tomatoes and basil after the bake really adds great flavor. Another recent find is the Italian, yum. In addition to the regular crust, there are also whole wheat and gluten free crust options. The gluten free crust is a thin crust that comes out a bit crispy. It has a nice flavor and holds up to all of the toppings quite well.

Boston's is a solid three star joint. It caters to those who want to catch a game. It's loud like a sports bar, has a ton of tvs, and the bar area is quite large. There's an outdoor area also which would be nice in good weather. The pizza is nothing special. What it does have going for it is that it's not overly greasy and the sauce is good. Beyond that, it's not much different than a Pizza Hut or Domino's. I had a Hawaiian pizza and it was really bland. I could taste the sauce but that was pretty much it. My husband was able to get a pizza with gluten free crust so that was nice but he said his pizza was also bland. The service was fine...straight and to the point. Not too friendly but they were busy. I wanted a beer and they asked if I wanted a pint or tall. For the record, tall is 32 oz. I had no idea "tall" meant 2 pints. They should really mention that when they ask if you want a tall.

Ordered a spinach candied pecan salad. It was awesome. I recreated it at home and it was almost as divine. Went back to Boston's a week later and ordered the spinach candied pecan salad. The salad came but the pecans were not candied. Note, the candied part is a super key ingredient to the YUM factor for this salad. I asked the waitress if she could bring me some candied pecans and instead of going back to the kitchen to get the pecans, she went to the hosted desk where her and two of her fellow workers looked up the salad and had a good laugh. She returned without going to the kitchen, and told me they were out of candied pecans. Note: I can make candied pecans in like 5 minutes at home. (butter sugar pecans heated up until it glazes) The manager strolled by and I asked her why the waitress would come up to the hosted stand, and look through the menu and laugh about not having a key ingredient to their menu item. By the way, this "manager" was one of the girls giggling with my waitress. The manager informed me that they do not carry candied pecans nor have they ever carried them. Really? I was here last week and you had them. They are in the TITLE of the spinach salad on your menu. This angered me to no end. I hate being lied to and made to feel like some sort of fool. I normally eat at Boston's a few times a month. Now because of this I will not step foot inside this restaurant. There are FAR better meals to be had than Bostons. Their pizza is gourmet if you have never tried anything but Jeno's frozen.

Don't be a lemming and follow the "crowd" and especially don't allow your "pushy, A-type" personality friends force you to dine here. Stand up! and be heard! Don't be lemming and don't be fooled by the well dressed people, okay, sort of well dressed people on the "so called patio". I guess during the winter it won't matter. The food is awful. Seriously. It's bad. McDonalds has better fries and burgers. And I loath and detest that place. I made the mistake of letting my manager take me here, for the first time. What a horrible mistake on my part for being a lemming!. Any way, if your friends or colleagues love this place, find new friends and go to lunch with co-workers who have a palette. Its another trip to the toilet for me. Thank you Boston's "the gourmet pizza". The city of Boston should sue this place. It's give the city a bad name.

I'm a nice girl. And I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. But this place went strike 1-2-3 with me right away. Strike 1. Attitude. If you work in the service industry and esp if you make tips...check the attitude in the car. Our server was rude and slow and not friendly at all! Look. I'm not trying to make friends with you but if you want 20%+ act like it. Strike 2. Beverages. After finally getting my mixed drink I thought Ahhhhhhhhhh! finally...(sip) UGH!! It literally tasted like flat soda water. All 3 of us at the table look at each other and ask REALLY?! So we switched to beer after the watered down tasting beverages were sent back. This is when I feared my food would be sabotaged... And Strike 3: Accessories/and again service... So we get our pizza. ok. Without plates, napkins or silverware. COME ON PEOPLE! So one of the girls walks up to the main bar right next to us to just ask the bartender for silverware and napkins. Then we watch her get ignored. Obviously. And that solidified my attitude on this one...sorry but until you give your servers an attitude adjustment I'd rather try somewhere else.

If you like Pizza Hut, and don't mind spending a few dollars more for basically the same pizza but with enhanced ambiance and location, then you'll love Boston's. Otherwise you'll be underwhelmed. (The service was also quite inattentive the one time I was here, but that may have been aberration.)

But remember, they don't do happy hour on special event days...

Had an interesting experience in here yesterday. Strolled in around 11:15 a.m. with two co-workers and had our pick of seats, so sat at the bar (this place is always absolutely dead at 11:15, but somehow every seat in the joint ends up being filled by 11:45) and the bartender immediately proceeded to give us her opinion on the news stories of the day: -She was amazed that the Mexican police recently seized and burned 140 tons of marijuana ("It's a damn shame! If only I could have just walked by where they burning. Can you say contact buzz?") Also humorous was that another Boston's employee walked by and confirmed that the story was indeed a "damn shame." -The world is "going to hell" because of the French riots. "I mean, they just raised the retirement age, no big deal! Come to America where when we retire, our Social Security benefits won't be worth shit!" Um. Can a brotha just order a mug of frosty Miller Lite and a pizza? I'm all for political debate, but c'maaaaan man. After we ordered, the bartender hung around (since there were no other patrons at the bar yet) and launched into a discussion of Halloween costumes. Her friend was going as Snooki, which she thought was a joke because her friend is "6 feet tall and skinny as a rail" and Snooki is "short and fat." My eyes sort of glazed over at this point and I awkwardly messed with my phone to make it look like I was busy, and left my co-workers to fend for themselves. I think she finally got the hint and, thankfully, the bar started to eventually fill up. This interesting situation aside, Boston's is pretty much standard for what it is - mass-produced, fast casual, safe fare for suburbanites. The pizza is pretty decent (I usually go with the Hawaiian) and there are several "specialties" from which to choose, such as Ultimate Pepperoni, Mama Meata, and Buffalo Chicken. You can also, of course, load up on your own choice of toppings. They have a nice selection of other items like ribs, wings, sandwiches, salads, and entrees such as lasagna and other pastas. Lunch specials are also available and are quite reasonable. Beer selection is acceptable, and their 32-ounce mug is pretty awesome and extremely frosty (there are usually little bits of ice in the beer, which I love). TVs are numerous in the bar area and they also have daily drink specials such as $3 margaritas and $3 Three Olives bombs. I highly doubt you will ever be blown away by your experience here, but it's a safe option when you just wanna drink some beers and watch a game, or meet someone before or after a sporting event. Plus, if you're desperately lonely, you always have "stimulating" conversation with the bartender to keep you entertained.

Food was mediocre at best. We ordered garlic twist bread. It tasted like nothing - pretty sure they forgot the garlic. We also got the "Boston Team Platter" - everything tasted like it came out of a box from the frozen section of the grocery store. I ordered the grilled chicken breast sandwich. When it came I cut it in half... and it was still raw inside. Not completely, but the outer ring was still pink and the edges were raw. The waiter's response? "Those are tendons". Um, tendons should not be mushy and gooey nor should the outer edges of the sandwich be pink. When they brought me a new one it was good, but nothing to write home about. I'd probably only return for drinks, but there are much better places to eat in Arena.

I've been here a few times and have seen some of the poor service others talk about. However, today that was not the case. I sat a the bar with a friend and our service from Jess was perfect. I ordered a Pizza this time (a twist for me) and it was great. I wish I could rate Bostons higher but I have to compare the food and service to the price. For a 10' pizza and Pepsi, I was out $17.80 plus tip. The pizza was great, Jess was great, but that probably should'nt have cost me about $15 tops.

been there twice, both visits were great.

Good place to hang out. Pretty good food. I liked my fish tacos. Haven't tried the pizza but looked so good and my cousin said it was. Chicken was a little too sour though the spicy garlic. I'd come back!

I love love love the fish tacos here. I get them 90% of the time. They are filling and the southwestern sauce makes them great. They come with pureed black beans. Wonderful.

The only thing worse than the service was the food. Not a single compliment from our family of four. Truly wish we'd kept walking. Stay clear of the flatbread, calzones, spaghetti, and hot wings.

Rock on. Overall, a good sports bar to check out!!

been there twice, both visits were great.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
