    It's better than Pizza Cucinova (the closest comparison), in my opinion. Light, airy, thin 11in. crust with as many toppings as you want, heated in a fire oven. Like a clothing store where whatever you buy matches everything else, the pizza toppings can be mixed and matched in any way to produce a quality 'za. Would certainly recommend for a quick lunch, but don't expect to walk away totally full.

    I freaking LOVE this place! I go in there so much that they know me by name LOL. You can't beat a nice sized delicious pizza , for only 6.95. Its like the chipotle of pizza. Whoever came up with this place is a genius !

    I went here for the first time tonight with pretty high expectations, and Blaze Pizza definitely met them! There were so many ingredients to choose from, and it was so quick! The pizza crust was a little thin for my taste and I wish it were a tad crispier, but other than that I loved it. What a great idea for a fast food restaurant! The prices were very low too, which is great for a broke college student like me. I split a pizza with my friend, but I wish I had gotten the whole thing for myself because it was not as filling as it looked. A whole pizza would be a perfect proportion! I definitely recommend Blaze Pizza.

    The University District is woefully lacking in pizza options, so Blaze has as wide open market. From my late lunch today, I really hope they're successful in their current location. Everybody was incredibly friendly. (Honestly though, some were a bit *too* friendly, but that always happen during the first week of opening at any place.) The line workers explained the ordering process perfectly. The restaurant was clean and orderly, and there were more than enough staff on hand to deliver quick service. I got the Red Vine pizza, which was delicious! It could have used more heat, so I should have asked for more banana peppers or something similar. Unfortunately, it's not clear to what extent you can customize their menu pizzas, or if it costs extra. However, the pizza was cooked perfectly! I loved the fresh mozzarella and basil, and it worked great with a dash of sea salt at the end. Beverage-wise, I wish they had the new Coke machines like Burger Works had before them. I'm not sure if they serve Coke or Pepsi products, because I got the blood orange lemonade. It was really good--- a nice balance of sweet and bitter. Also, shout-out to Dylan!

    Did not love this pizza. I got the white top, the flavor was good. However the crust was paper-thin, and I really had to grind my teeth to get a bite. Very hard to chew, and everyone I sat with said the same thing. I doubt I would go here again.

    Ovens were 534F the night we visited. My range at home gets hotter. The result soggy pizza. Fast personal pizza with excellent topping choice is a good concept. Cold ovens is poorly executed. I will not be back, I wonder what will occupy the space next.

    Newest place on Campus...its where Burger Works used to be, right across from the Ohio Union. This is another spin on assembly line gourmet pizza. One crust, thin and about 11" round, you can choose from one of their specialty made pies, build your own, or even a combination, which is what I did. I got the Meat Eater which is red sauce, moz, pep, meatball, and onion. I added green peppers and basil. These pies are cooked to perfection in a blazing 600 degree pizza oven in just a few minutes, so even if the place is busy (like it was today!) youre still in-and-out very quickly. Crust was good, sauce was perfect, and all toppings are fresh and top quality...not your normal mid-west pizza with tons of toppings piled high, rather their take on "artisan" pie, but none the less, it was good...really good! MUCH better than Cucinova IMHO. The only downside is these pies dont travel well. I dont normally like to eat on campus because of the congestion, noise, crowds (students) and while they come out of the oven bubbly hot, if taken out, the not so hearty pie tends to cool rather quickly. It was like luke warm by the time I got back to my office, 10 minutes away. Value is good too...11" pie for $6.65. Im a fan!

    Lovely idea. Sort of like a chipotle for pizza. There always seems to be a line, but it goes by super fast. The employees are always chipper and nice - seems like a fun place to work! There are many numerous delicious toppings and it's not too greasy! You can walk out of there with a pretty healthy pizza, if you want, for only under $7.

    The restaurant is basically a pizza version of chipotle! The pizza was delicious and a good portion for its price (one topping pizza for $5.85 or signature pizzas for $6.95). I was really excited to choose my own toppings and sauces. The only downside is the waiting time. I really think that Blaze could do a better job in speeding up the pizza serving process., especially because they claim that "exceptional quality at lightning fast speed is what we're all about". But I'll cut them some slack since they are a very new restaurant. Over all a must try, definitely a different experience.

    Good pizza, friendly staff, limitless combinations, absolutely awful music that's too loud for indoor conversations. I liked that I could grab my own takeout box for leftovers. If I was an OSU student I could see the appeal, but not something I would travel from the office for on a weekly basis.

    I received great customer service until I went to pay for mine and my fiance's pizzas. The cashier rung me out for both, however after leaving the line my fiancé was also charged for his pizza. So we were charged for 3 pizzas but only go two. Within 2 minutes, I went back and asked for a refund. No one else had gone through in line. The cashier reported to the GM and he had a horrible attitude. He said he couldn't do anything, couldn't go back in the system and refund me, and wouldn't do anything without a receipt-which the cashier did not give me. I told him I literally just bought the pizza and no one else had given me through in line. He was extremely rude and unhelpful about the situation and did not offer any solution. Finally I asked him to give me the third pizza if he wouldn't do anything else and he reluctantly did. PS- the employees there seemed very depressed about working there. And the crust was soggy.

    Located within walking distance of the OSU Union, the Blaze is fast and casual. You can customize your pizza with a choice of toppings or order one of their own pizza designs. It is similar to Subway in how you order and walk around the front, telling the assembler what to put on the pizza (if you're customizing) and pay at the end. The pizza was ready less than 5 minutes after I sat down. The pizza was good. Thin crust so it cooks fast. If I lived here, I would definitely return. Reasonable prices are another plus!

    I might be a little bit in love with Blaze. I went for the first time on Pi Day, when they were having a promotion for cheaper pizzas. As a result, I did have to wait in line for a significant amount of time, but the line moved decently fast since the pizzas only take a few minutes to cook. I love the diversity of toppings and the fact that they let you choose as many as you want. My pizza was far more delicious that pizzas I've had at some other big chains. And it's quite filling. Even at the regular price point, you get a good amount of pizza for your money. I'll definitely be returning in the future.

    Ah, Blaze Pizza, how I love thee. There's generally a big line when you walk in the door, but it moves pretty quickly. Like a lot of line-style restaurants, the employees always try to rush through orders (I've had my name misspelled more times than at Starbucks). They always try to throw cheese on my pizza out of habit, but they'll listen when I explain that I don't want any meat or cheese. I get some eye rolls when I ask for looooooots of veggies, but I've always ended up getting a good end product. As a vegan, I find it's nice to have these kinds of places that I can make late-night food runs with friends without feeling left out. The menu is very accommodating to dietary restrictions, everything is pretty fresh and healthy (never greasy), and it tastes delicious every time, all for under $7. This has quickly become one of my favorite High St./campus-area spots to grab food.

    I came here because of the free pizza they are offering today. It's currently about an hour to an hour and a half wait if you're thinking about checking it out! This place is like the pizza version of Chipotle-- there is a line of toppings in front of you to choose from, and for the $6.95 build your own pizza option you can add as many as you want! There is only one size and one type of crust which is a thin crust. For the same price, there are Signature pizzas you can choose from if you don't want to pick your own toppings. I got the Meat Eater pizza which has pepperoni, meatballs, red onion, and mozzarella. Even with the long line, once you order your pizza it is ready in just a few minutes--180 seconds according to their menu. Overall I enjoyed the pizza, good flavor and amount of toppings. I am not the biggest fan of thin crust tho, otherwise I would have given a higher rating, but I wouldn't let that deter you from coming!

    Blaze it! If you're in a rush but don't want to lose quality with your order then they'll take care of you. This location is pretty relaxed, employees are fun and happy to help. I've never heard of this place before so I stopped by to check it out and it was worth the time. The pizza is cooked in 180 seconds, comes out with the cheese just melting off. They have a long list of toppings, doesn't matter whether it's one topping or ten, the price is the same. The pizza is thin, not too thick so you can enjoy the topping as well without a mouthful of just crust. Different kinds of cheese, so you can mix it up. It was amazing, delicious, worth the 180 second wait. Blaze it!

    What do you get when you cross the campus area with inexpensive, decent pizza? A long-ass line, that's what you get! Never fear, this place does put the "fast" in "fast-fire'd" and your legs won't get stiff from standing in line (unless it's all just mental from noting that everyone else in line is 18 and know nothing about stiff legs). This is another pizzotle style place - go down the line and choose your toppings. The price, for what you get, is amazing - about $6 for a pizza (with whatever toppings you want). For my pep and shroom, I opted for the spicy sauce. The spice didn't really add any flavor - in fact it detracted a bit from the otherwise tomatoey goodness of the sauce by just adding a bit of fire. For my second pizza (hey, at $6 a pop, I could afford 2) I got the classic sauce and thought it was much better. The toppings were all good and the crust had those nice little char spots (very thin, not too airy, a bit chewy). All in all, I'd rank this place around a 3.5 on the pizza scale. It's certainly worth trying and the price is fantastic, but it falls just a bit short on quality when compared to some of the other fast ovens in town.

    The best place for a family to go for pizza! Each of us got to make our own personal pizza. No complaints from anyone cuz they say what's on it! You walk down the line and add as many toppings as you want. Mine had red sauce, fresh mozzarella, goat cheese, turkey meatballs, fresh basil, artichokes, green & kalamata olives, banana peppers and oregano. It was a little juicy but that's my fault for putting on fresh ingredients. We'd totally come back here again!

    This is a great go-to place if you're looking for a lunch spot on campus. To put it simply, it's the pizza version of Subway. The price is decent - I think mine was $8 for a whole customized pizza. You can do half and half with the sauces if you like - I did pesto/red sauce. They have a large selection of toppings - I was happy to see that they had artichokes - a favorite of mine. The checkout process was quick and the wait for the pizza wasn't long at all - I believe this is because the crust is so thin, so it doesn't take as long to bake. Definitely not the best pizza in town, but I enjoyed it. Next time I'll ask for the sea salt and oregano - I felt my pizza was a bit bland. I like that they have half sized pizza boxes to take your leftovers with you.

    2nd time being at Blaze but first time writing a yelp review. Love the pizza, a 1 topping pie cost about $5.85 and I got spinach for my one topping. The employees are extremely nice aswell. Offered to change their gloves after touching pork products before I even asked. Really attentive to the crowd that comes in.

    I came here during their free pizza opening promotion, and while I'm not sure waiting almost 90 minutes in line for a 11" pizza that's otherwise worth $7 is the best use of my time, I sadly had nothing better to do (and their pizza is really really really really good). That being said, I absolutely love Blaze. Like other people have described, it's basically Chipotle-style pizza. They have a few premade styles you can choose from if you don't feel like building your own, but I think most people opt for the BYOP (build your own pie) because you can literally put WHATEVER you want on it. They're also not at all stingy with their ingredients, and I was able to ask for extra without being charged more. Speaking of toppings, their selection of toppings is so ridiculous that you'd be hard-pressed to not be able to make a pizza you'd enjoy (unless you don't like pizza, at which point there's no hope for you...). I got 4 different meats (crushed meatballs, italian sausage, grilled chicken, and ground beef), along with half their veggie toppings and an olive oil dressing. Another thing I like about this place is that you don't have to use a sauce as a base, and can just use cheese as the sauce. I find that most tomato sauces are too overwhelming in a pizza, so I opted for a mozzarella cheese sauce base instead. The pizza also only takes a few minutes to cook (it's lightning fast!), so you won't have to salivate for too long after you design your pie. Since it's thin-crust, the pizza isn't as filling as what you may find at other joints, but that just means you'll have room for dessert! I haven't tried the s'mores dessert yet, but I've heard good things about it.

    Very good pizza. Similar to Pizza Cucinova if you've ever been there. They don't do fresh salads but the crust is really good. Huge selection of toppings too. They actually messed up my pizza by accident and flipped it in the oven so all the toppings and cheese went to one side. Honestly it wasn't a big deal but they really wanted to make sure they got me a second properly made pie for free before I left. Manager was super cool and the staff was all nice despite it being insane and the first official day it was open. Highly recommended for a quick lunch on campus!

    I went to a pre-opening event at Blaze, which appeared to be serving as a practice run for their staff. The service was very friendly and everyone seemed genuinely excited. Cute. The place was set up Chipotle-style. You could choose a pre-designed pizza or you could 'make-your-own' by specifying the ingredients that you would like. I chose their Red Vine, which was basically a margarita pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, basil and olive oil. Once my pizza was built, they put it into their large oven and called my name when it was ready. Given that it was their first night and the place was crowded, the pizza came out very quickly (less than 10 minutes). I suspect they will be able to get it down under 5 minutes with some practice. The pizza itself was quite good. The sauce was nice (perhaps a tad salty for my taste but not overwhelmingly so) and the cheese was creamy. The crust was crispy but not too crispy and the basil was fresh-tasting. I was able to eat the whole thing myself but was quite full when I finished. Overall, the pizza and service were great. It's not the best quick-fired pizza I've ever had but it's definitely one of the better pizzas I have eaten in Columbus. Furthermore, their prices were very affordable (under $7 for a pie). I'll likely go back for more!

    Alright let's get real here. This is customized pizza. You want a bbq chicken pizza? It's yours. You want pepperoni and pineapple? That's yours too. You can do the weirdest combination and they will make it specially for you. On opening night all of the employees were super courteous and grateful that we were there. The crust is fantastic. A good crunch but nice and chewy. Definitely try this place out. Yeah.
