They cater well to the pumpkin cravings of Circleville and make great cakes, cupcakes and cookies in the off-season. We've bought countless cakes from them throughout the years, from my every-six-year-old-wants-to-be-Cinderella cake, to the cake served at my grad party and have always been more than pleased. I actually asked for Santa to bring me Lindsey's pumpkin doughnuts when I was 2.

Well, Lindsey's has the best pumpkin donuts in the world, that's not really a question. But they also have delicious long johns, and pretty much everything else. The women in there are super nice as well. It's been around for such a long time, and I hope it will continue. Be sure to check them out during Pumpkin Show to see the world's largest pumpkin pie!

Lindsey's is a timeless cornerstone biz of Circleville. They have killer pumpkin donuts, and beyond the orange season, they aren't half bad with cupcakes and cakes too. They are very reasonably priced, and have a make-shift drive thru (in the adjoining alley) for early-morning donut pick up, etc. My only main complaint is that they have a reputation for being somewhat lenient on their sanitary measures, but as long as you don't think about it too much they are still delish!

Our first time to Lindsey's was a fabulous experience!!!! The staff were very pleasant and generous. They let us sample a donut before we bought several because we had never had them before. I bought a creme horn and that left only one so they gave me that one free. Great Bakery!!!! Will definitely return!!!!

So glad I made it back here to find out Lindsey has MANY great things to offer except for pumpkin donuts! Yes, she does have those year round, but I avoided them and got a bunch of other goodies! For starters, cookies for 60 cent and brownies for 75 cent, I could already tell I'm not in Columbus anymore! Both were ok, but didn't blow my mind. What was great was the plain sugar donut, fresh, soft and fluffy! Their cream and chocolate icing is also very very good, I would prefer more filling than just one bite though. In all definetly worth the stop, they redeemed themselves in my eyes!

I have been going here since I was a kid. The owners need to start respecting the quality of their food, and worry less about profit. Today I bought thumb print cookies, I asked if they were fresh, but they were very stale and hard. They belonged in the trash not in a customers hands. Last year my wife saw the owner at big lots buying lots of cake mixes. It was graduation time and I know that they are busy, but we had ordered a birthday cake and it tasted like a cheap box mix, not their normal cake (our family buys 5-6 per year). I can't say for sure, but strange that the owner was seen buying cake mixes a few days before and our cake tasted like a cheap cake mix. If their food is fresh, it is good, but unless you are ready to put up with inconsistent quality, I would stay clear

After lunch at The Bamboo House and a few cocktails at Gibby's, it was time for some pastries. Right across the street from Gibby's is Lindsey's, an old school bakery with cookies, donuts and cakes, etc. Walked in, greeted and got half dozen peanut butter cookies and out the door in 5 minutes. Peanut butter cookies were pretty decent and only 60 cents each....not small either. You can always tell small town prices! I'd definitely go back again.

I come from a small town in Massachusetts, where all the local bakeries were shut down years ago and replaced with Dunkin Donuts and Tim Horton's. Thus, Lindsey's was a welcome surprise. I get treats here way too often (being across the street from my work, I'm bound to gain 50 lbs by the end of the year!) and everything I have tried so far is delicious. The best? Pumpkin donuts!

Love the old-time bakery feel. Pumpkin Donuts are good, but we LOVE to get cakes made for birthdays and special occasions. Bottom line, they just taste better than the big box stores.

The best pumpkin doughnuts (available all year) AND a drive-thru.
