Finally a Steak N Shake with Service! Been to surrounding locations and the service was terrible. Here you can definitely tell the servers are well experienced. Stopped by during the lunch hour and the food and service was exceptional. Food came out quick and my drink stayed filled. Will be back.

Absolute terrible service. I barely could get a refill and lots of chatter unneeded between the only two workers on a night shift. I asked for my burger with no tomato, lettuce or mayo. I confirmed the order before he stepped away....you guessed it. Tomato, lettuce and mayo!!! It took about two minutes for him to see the upside down bun on my table holding the tomato, lettuce and mayo. Instead of getting me a new bun right away like I asked, he tried to ask the cook how it happened and began to carry on a conversation for a few MINUTES. Seriously dude? Give me my freaking bun and than figure the out after. But instead I began eating my burger without a bottom bun. Minutes later he brought the bun back and set it down on the table. I was so pissed off I didn't even eat the bun. The #1 reason I don't go to steak and shake any longer is because it's a ghetto half ed restaurant at almost every location. (Went to the Montgomery Road location) We walked in and were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress who sat us in a quiet booth. The restaurant was more or less empty; it's March Madness and I'm assuming there was a game on. She was very friendly and even gave us coupons that work with several meal options. I really appreciated that. She took our orders and made sure we had water when we were low. She brought us the food pretty quickly and we didn't have to wait long. The food was decent. They put a little too much mustard and ketchup on my burger, so all I tasted was that instead of also tasting beef and cheese. The shake was tasty and the Parmesan fries were really good. It's Steak n' Shake. You know what you're getting when you walk in there. Then service at this location was stellar and the meal was good for a low price.

The service here is continually terrible every time i go. Today i ended up spending 15 minutes waiting in the drive through to place my order only to continually get the message "sorry can you wait a moment" without any apology. I eventually drove off. On times visiting before, the staff would forget tidbits about my order many times and seem disinterested and annoyed with me. They take forever, even to get a side of something. Bottom line, only visit with patience and skip out on the drive through.

It's a steak and shake. It is what you'd expect and nothing more, nothing less. Server was a peach. Had a book of steak and shake coupons for us to use, too! What a doll.

Your modern day Johnny Rockers. Could be the sister shop of it because everything is exactly the same set up except it is bigger than the Johnny's I seen. Awesome burgers. And the chocolate covered strawberry shake is awesome. The Apple/Tangerine salad that was so good with this very tasty vinaigrette dressing The service was great. Friendly and fun waitress. Looking for good tasting sweet tea. This will be your place. This blows away McDonald's, Popeye's or any restaurant that I tasted. Definitely hands down sweet tea is the best The douldbe burger was juicy and full filling. The fries made to order were hot and fresh. Service was fast and fun. And did i mention both meals were under 5 dollars. First meal in Cincinnati...good first choice. When in a mood for cheap, tasty and fast. This is a great choice.

It doesn't matter what location you ever choose to go to, it's obvious that Steak n Shake has the absolute worst management and traing in the industry. If you have all the time in the world to eat and you don't care if your order is always wrong, then go to Steak n Shake. They have great food and great looking restaurants but it evades my understanding how they can be so consistantly poor.

MR says ... I'm just here for the shake! MRS says .... one of those late night craving for burgers and fries ... indeed this Steak N Shake location did not disappoint me when it comes to greasy cold fries. Quite disappointing but what do you expect from Steak N Shake? It's a fast food diner. Our server was polite but he missed to get our seasoned fries which actually a good thing because he had to make new batch of fries and we finally got a hot pipping parmesan cheese and herbs seasoned fries. Since there's no other 24hour diner around, this one suffice when late night cravings comes to attack.

Went to restaurant about 4 :30. We were seated , but never got a waiter or waitress to come to our table. We signaled young man tending table across from us. He said one moment, but cleared two tables, picked up tips and totally ignored us. We finally, after 10 minutes of being ignored in an empty section of the restaurant, got up and left. My husband explained the situation to someone at check out counter, but no response... Just looked at him.

You can't beat Happy Hour 2-4pm weekday 1/2 off shakes and drinks! When I visited I received prompt service and good food. Since I was there during the Happy Hour times during my visit I did get a shake too. Its a great deal!
