Ok I'm split- experience was a roller coaster Positives- Waitress service Wings Grilled veggie grinder Negatives- Got text for a table, showed up and the hostess said "sorry my manager gave your table to his friends, it's going to be a little bit" The DJ - it's a sports bar, I don't want a DJ Chicken BLT No blue cheese or ranch served with the wings? Minor details I guess for some, but for me the first two negatives are a big deal. May come back, but would aim for earlier in the day.

We went here for the cincy's burger week, the buns are little dry thigh, but love love love the chicken wings! I like that they have draft wine! Couldn't be more happier! Met one of the Lachey's bro and he is friendly! We took pictures too! Definitely going back! Love the sports bar settings! Girls should definitely do ladies night out here! Haha!

I went for lunch with friends. No server to seat us or tell us it was seat yourself. we had to ask. We ordered the garlic tater tot app - tasted great and arrived promptly. Then we ordered 1 turkey burger, 1 hair of the dog burger and 1 build your own (plain) burger. 50 minutes later we were still waiting for burgers and starting to worry we would have to get it to go. The food finally arrived. The burgers were cooked well and tasted great. Lachey's has the flavors down, but the service has some kind of bottleneck that is slowing down the food delivery. We did see a manager. He was busily comp-ing and discounting checks because service was so slow. I think they need a kitchen manager to push the food out and direct the wait staff. They need a floor manager to greet customers, sit customers, get the first round of drinks ordered and the menus delivered. Can't make money if tickets are being discounted/ comp'd. The food was good, but the service and order turnaround time leave a lot to be desired!

Amazing. We had happy hour on a Friday during March Madness and it was packed. Lachey's is a watershed of Cincy's improving food culture. The location looks sleek, welcoming, and very energetic. The service is amazing with people who are high-energy, fun, quick, and cordial. The food is excellent with lots of twists on typical bar food and fresh ingredients. The Tot Bowl is amazing. Double Malt Manhattan is also amazing. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time at Lachey's.

Alright, so the passion project of Nick and Drew Lachey has been up and running now for some time and I have been to the bar a handful of times. I feel that overall, this place is a solid venue and most definitely a great spot for taking a large group-depending on the night. The location of Lachey's is stellar, sitting behind the Art Academy, across the street from the Know, two blocks from Ensemble, and one block from Below Zero. If you are looking for preshow dinner, after show drinks, or just something quick, this is a great location for a group meeting spot. Lachey's is a huge space with tables and booths along the side and the bar top situated in the center. Overall, the waitstaff and bartenders are pretty on top of their game. I've only had one incident in five where a waitress seemed to forget we were actually her table, but once we got her attention, she was much improved. The menu is by no means complicated but the food is tasty. It has a combination of typical bar fare: burgers, salads, entrees, wings and fries and flavorful surprises: tater tots with various seasonings, zucchini frites, warm black bean hummus, chef inspired sandwich creations. The price tags are a bit high (7-9 for apps, 13-15 for entrees with sides) but the portions are ample. Some personal favorites: The Veggie Grinder Sandwich- packed with delicious veggies, served open faced on a toasted pita, and topped with melted mozzarella. I also fancy a non alcoholic(!) drink called the Pomegranate Sparkler. This thing is divine! While the tater tots themselves are delicious (try the Lachey's special ketchup!), I tried the spicy garlic sauce- it is that obnoxious orange hot sauce and instead of enhancing the tater tots it made them soggy and indecipherable. Where I think Lachey's flounders a bit is atmosphere. The bar space is large, but their seating is mostly high top tables scattered throughout with truly uncomfortable chairs. The oversized booths fit 40 (ok, that's an exaggeration), but if you are a party of two, they seem to swallow you up and would be better suited for groups, but sometimes that's the only available seating. They are also having a bit of an identity crisis: are you a sports bar? A local joint? A DJ spinning hang out? A sometimes radio program? There are enough tvs in this place to make you feel like you are in the middle of the Stock Exchange during high tide, complete with a ticker tape constantly streaming various sports info. If you sit at the bar top, the tvs are awkwardly high and overhead, so those who came in for a drink and the game are better suited to sitting at the tables, which are more ideal for the people who came in for food vittles. If you are there for a meal and some conversation, be sure you aren't there on random DJ or radio show nights. The bar gets packed with people who are either friends of the Lacheys or minor celebrity stalkers, and the place gets deafeningly loud, not to mention that the Stock Exchange telivisionpalooza is still in full swing. It takes no time at all on these nights to get completely overstimulated and find yourself crawling over the hipsters and Mt Adams transplants to get to the door. OTR is now becoming the place to go, and it is nice to see larger venues opening up that offset the hours long waits at places like Bakersfield, Senate, and Kaze. I think the brothers have a solid win on their hands, and with a little tweaking this could easily become a five star.

My hubby and I arrived around 11:30-ish for lunch. We were greeted by a very young hostess, who promptly seated us. There were many open tables, so no problem on getting a good seat. We were seated in the first booth next to the door and right across from the bar and all the TVs. It was a cozy booth for two people. I liked it. A waiter came by just minutes after we were seated. He was helpful and nice. We ordered drinks and a few minutes later he brought our drinks and we ordered food. Our food was brought out in a timely manner and was delivered by one of the kitchen staff, I believe. My hubby got the Cubano sandwich and tater tots, and he liked both. I got one order of Buffalo wings and a side of broccolini. I had the ask the waiter what broccolini was before I ordered it and he did a great job of describing it. I had never heard of it before, so I decided to try it. It's has a milder flavor then regular broccoli. It was cooked well, not overcooked at all, plus it had 5 or 6 roasted garlic cloves and topped with slightly melted parmesan cheese. The dish was a little too salty for me, but overall it was delicious. The Buffalo wings were very good. They are the best wings I've tasted since moving to Cincinnati 14 months ago. Great job on the wings!!! There was one hiccup. I don't know if the wings are served with a dipping sauce or not, but I didn't receive any. The manager came by and asked if everything was okay, and I asked for blue cheese for the wings. Our waiter was coming up right behind him and he heard what I needed and went to get it for me. The blue cheese was really good too and went very well with the wings. I saw something that was unsettling. The hostess wasn't busy since the restaurant wasn't busy, so she chatted with the bartender off and on. One time that I saw when she was chatting, she grabbed her butt, bare hands on bare cheeks, not just for a second to scratch an itch, but she was really grabbing her butt from the top of her legs, up. She was wearing a very short skort, so she had easy access to her cheeks. There was a table full of people behind her while this was going on, I don't know if they saw her or not. Now, I know we all have mindless quirks, but she needs to be mindful of where she is and what she's doing. I don't want any butt germs on my menu. It's kind of funny, but mostly gross. Overall, I gave Lachey's three stars. This was my first visit and I will go back for more wings and blue cheese.

I started with a Tot bowl and it only got better from there. First I really like the sports bar atmosphere of this place. It was well done and really lets you have a good time. My starter for the night was a Bacon and Cheese Tot Bowl and lets just say these are amazing. They come with 3 dipping sauces which only add to the awesome this Tot Bowl brings. Is that ketchup you ask. Well yes but it has some spice added to it. Nothing is what it seems at Lacheys. There is always a little more to it. Which made it really fun and a good time. The staff was very polite to us while we were there and ultra helpful with picking some drinks. As an out of towner I always want to try the local brews and there was plenty of suggestions. I then had the sliders and was pleasantly surprised again at how good everything was. The bun on the sliders were perfectly crisped and were just plain perfect for the sliders. As a soon to be local I look forward to trying out more places like Lacheys and will definitely be showing my friends to this place when we make some Reds games. Give it a try and do not skip getting a Tot Bowl!

FYI This is the first and only 1-star review I have ever written, so you know how much I hated my experience at Lachey's. We were here last Saturday to watch the Duke/UNC game around 9:30-11:30pm. When we walked in, it was super crowded but we were able to find a large table in the back for our group of 7. We sat down, and were a little confused about whether or not we would get waitress service or had to order at the bar. My friend asked a waitress if someone would be coming around to serve us, and she said "yeah"...But 20 minutes later no one had showed up so we gave in and ordered at the bar. We ordered the bacon cheddar tater tots and a round of beers. The beers were reasonably priced and ok. My friend's beer was flat, but whatever. We asked if they would bring the tater tots to us, and they said to come up to the bar again in 10 minutes to pick them up...Not an easy task with a place this busy, but ok. We kept going back up to the bar every 10 minutes for 45 MINUTES asking for our food, which never came. They had to re-fire it because I guess they gave our food to someone else. But all we got was a "whoops, my bad". They didn't even care. Talk about bad service! When our food FINALLY came, we had to pick it up from the bar (another hassle), and there was no bacon! Seriously?? I didn't even get into the boring decor and horrible DJ, but you get the point... They ended up not charging us for the food, but that did not make up for the terrible experience we had at Lachey's. Non-existent service, overly crowded, followed up by rude employees. The only thing that will make me come back to this place is if Nick Lachey himself sings me an apology song (with dance moves).

Again, I should have read my fellow Yelpers reviews instead of asking the server what are the best menu items. He offered the chicken BLT and at $11 (add $2.50 for fries or tots to any sandwich) I thought it would be a good pick. It really was the tiniest piece of chicken I've even been served in a restaurant. The tots were crispy, but lukewarm and I left without feeling stuffed so there's that. Our server did that odd thing I see so many doing lately, he hangs around the table a lot in the beginning that you wonder if you're supposed to ask him to join you?! Then, once he delivers food, he asks if everything is okay and you only have 3 seconds to assess your meal and make the call. We didn't see the missing items. But he was off, never to be seen again, unable to flag down because he literally never made eye contact with our table, and one of us had to ask the hostess to send him over. By that time 15 minutes had passed. I'm going to guess the only reason people were eating there on a Monday night is because five places are closed so the wait times for those that are open are much longer. It's a bummer because they have a nice space to accommodate a crowd, but I would stick to the sports drinking crowd, assuming the service is attentive.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a review on the food or drinks here because I never got to try them. Came here with friends on a Sunday evening because the menu sounded promising. It was surprisingly not packed (we later found out it was closing time) so we found the least dirty table and took a seat. We waited and waited and waited and received no kind of greeting or acknowledgement from anyone. It wasn't clear if we were supposed to go to the bar and order or if the staff came to you. When we finally realized we had about 30 minutes before the were due to close we just left. I'm super disappointed.

I have been here twice and both times I was quite pleased. While the chicken sandwich I had wasn't great, they have one of the best happy hour drink specials in the area. I came in yesterday with friends to watch the Reds home opener and expected my bill to really add up. Between the BF and I we had ordered 5-6 drinks. Since this is OTR and I had 2 Crispin's I was expecting our bill to be about $30-35. It was $14.98! All the drinks are $2 off at happy hour, and the best part is, happy hour goes late - all the way til 8 o'clock. Their draft selection is pretty expansive too, considering that many high end beers end up being only $3 at Happy Hour. $3 pints of Crispin.. what more can you ask for during a baseball game? That isn't that much more expensive than buying a 4 pack and drinking them at home! I haven't tried the cocktails or wines, but if you are in the area and wanting a beer between 4-8 this is the place to go. -1 star because the first time I came in I ordered a chicken club and they literally used the worlds smallest chicken breast. The entire thing was on one side of the sandwich. Seriously? It had to be like 2-3 ounces only. The tater tots were good though!

The Lachey brothers have done it! Cincinnati was in dire need of a good, non-franchise (sorry, B-Dubs) sport bar, and Lachey's hit the spot! Not only do the have the No Wait app ("get in line" for a table before you even get there), but it is TVs galore and a sports fans paradise! My Syracuse alumni club met up with some local Duke alums for the game, and couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. From the variety of beers (including local brews) on tap to the WINE ON TAP (yes, you read that right: WINE. ON. TAP.) -- there's literally something for everyone. One of the best parts (at least for me) was not feeling claustrophobic, which other OTR bars are notorious for. Lachey's is at least three times the width of other bars in the area, which gave it MAJOR brownie points from me. I only had to dock them one star because the food was only okay. It was a step-up from typical bar food, but still nothing to write home about. But let's be honest -- if I had seen an appearance from Drew or Nick (I'd even settle for Vanessa or even baby Camden), then I could probably look past the average food. Naturally, I can see myself become a regular here, if only for the WINE ON TAP (and because I am committed to one day track down a Lachey brother).

Stopped by here again for the Champions League final. I have to say that I try not to go to sports bars because of the sports bar crowd, and I absolutely detest baseball and anything baseball related, of which were the other patrons here pre-gaming for the Reds game. However, it must be said that the folks at Lachey's bar do sports proud in that they were very accommodating towards the small number of soccer fans that were in attendance this day. They were able to get the audio of the soccer game over the sound system (which seems like a difficult feat, because the remote control is the size of a small serving tray), and didn't press us when they realized we were finished ordering food and drinks for the day. The buffalo wings tasted great, and were fried perfectly. They were small, and a bit overpriced because of how small they were, but very tasty nonetheless.

Kyla the bartender rocks!!! Great service and attention to detail. Good was good, hot, and came out quick so this place won me over for the Happy Hour scene! Had flank steak and fingerling potatoes. Got the recommendation from Kyla to try the Brussels sprouts and lived the bacon/pecans chopped the same size drizzled in lemon juice. They have beer and wine on tap; had 2 glass of Malbec and decent price for the punch. Service staff here is on point and great afterwork spot in Cincy.

Me review is only for the night time since we can around midnight. This is like a sports bar that gets converted into a lounge. The drinks were good the music even better but not a lot of dancing going on. The place its very decorated and I would want to come back to watch a game next time I'm in town.

Went today for lunch and had a pretty good time. In my experience for otr this place is not often busy so it's easy to walk in and grab a table. (Most places in the area seem to have at least a short wait 24/7) We orderd the build your own burger, pulled pork sandwich and the fries. Everything was very good, the pulled pork had alot of flavor was very tender and a good portion. The burger was my favorite, I got it with blue cheese, crispy onions and jalapeños, delish. ( that combo should be a regular menu item)I would definitely order both items again. The fries were just ok, they seemed fresh but since they are served in a metal cup the bottom half gets soggy quick. I would recommend pouring them out on the tray when they get to the table. The service is pretty good and it's a great spot in the area to catch up on some sports. They have a pretty good drink menu, as expected a lot of local drafts and some good cocktails. My only negative would be the menu, as a whole I'm not a major fan, in that it is pretty limited. Burgers pork sandwich tots fries fish sandwich, wings salads and that's about it. They have a fish and steak entree but this isn't the place I would go for that. Also the apps are kind of lame, I don't see too many people ordering the deviled eggs, meatballs or buffalo dip. They do have a wing appetizer which some different sauces but 6 bucks for 5? No thanks. Also the fish sandwich and fish tacos are made with catfish :/ catfish can be very good fried but it would not be my first or second choice for a sandwich or tacos. Also it's kind of pricey, I understand the up charge for the area but with all the great options with in walking distance it's not my first choice. Also the burgers and sandwiches do not come with tots or fries, that is extra which is kind of disappointing... I do think the menu needs some work, more true bar food. It's kind of all over the place for a bar/restaurant. All in all the location is prime the food is good and the service was spot on. I also support the fact that the lacheys decided to open up a spot in the heart of Cincinnati, they clearly have pride in their home town which I respect. I hope they do well, I will go back, just won't be a regular....

I really want to like this place, but experience after experience, it's just bad! The people that sit you and the guy who I'm guessing manages the place are always friendly, but that's where it stops. I've been 4 or 5 times since they've opened and the service is just horrible. Guess I should have stopped going after the 1st or 2nd time. Most recently, we went on a Friday for lunch during March Madness and you would have thought it was their opening day. They took one of our meals to the wrong table TWICE. When the meal finally came to the right table (our table), she had to leave so they threw it in a box ... threw being the keyword there (going to try to attach a picture). We overheard a waitress telling another table, "our kitchen is a shit show." Yes, it definitely is. The waiter screwed up our bills, then ran them on the wrong credit cards. I felt bad for him because you could tell he was stressed, but it was just bad. It took more than 2 hours from when we sat to when we left. For lunch. Really hope Lachey's gets it together, because right now, to use the words of one of their own employees, it's a shit show.

Walking around downtown Cincy after losing my shirt at the Horseshoe I tried to find a bar to watch the Kentucky Notre Dame game. This place really catches the eye! They have about fifty tvs over the bar and an excellent sound system. Even tho the place was packed the bartenders did a good job getting drinks out. The bar was also very clean. There were about 15 beers on tap mostly microbrews. I didn't get to look at most because they were so busy but the bartenders helped me pick out some things to try. The only bad part of the evening was the result of the game!!!

I am only writing this review because in the six plus times I've visited this bar, I've never had service you could consider remotely decent - and this last trip truly took the cake. Our party of three visited on a Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:00pm. It was the first Saturday of college football, so the bar was probably a little more crowded than usual at that hour; however we were immediately seated by the hostess. That's when The Great Wait began. We waited for THIRTY MINUTES (yes, 30) without service. Two different waiters walked by our table on three different occasions to say they would be right with us. Tick, tick, tick... After 15 minutes, we were brought glasses of water and a beer menu, but that server never came back to take our order. Nothing. We weren't being loud or obnoxious or any sort of behavior that would have warranted this snubbing by the wait staff. We simply got up and left. My only regret is that we didn't go to the hostess and ask to be re-seated in a section that has servers who were actually interested in waiting on our party. There are too many choices in OTR to give our business to a bar that doesn't appreciate our patronage.

There is nothing special here except the name. Stopped in on a Tuesday night and the place was largely empty. Part of the bar was under construction, cordoned off by large black plastic sheets. This required the beer menu to be cut in half since half the taps were in the construction zone and inoperable. It was wing night and trivia night. Wings were ok-nothing fantastic. Adequate but not anything I would come here for. I did really like the multiple tv's, and the rolling news sign giving you up to date sports news. Great resolution on the tv's. The bar taps obscure nearly half the bar seats which was odd. Service was another story. Our server was like a Roman candle. She started out great then flamed out. Great smile, friendly etc, once the food came, never saw her again. A server from another area saw us just sitting there, with empty plates and beer glasses and asked if we needed help. We asked for our server ad was told "she got busy with other tables". Trouble was, place was empty. Go figure. This server at least at the common sense to help us out. We simply paid the bill, left a tip, and chalked up the experience. Bottom line. Nothing special here and this place will survive as long as OTR continues to be safe and attracts the YP.

Pretty disappointed. Made it a point to come here when I was back in my hometown of Cincy for a few days. Walked in and wasn't greeted for a few minutes while we stood there looking dumb. Finally the bartender told us to sit where we would like. Interestingly enough we had one table to choose from because all the tables that were empty were still dirty. Ordered and wasn't served all the food we ordered. What we did get was ok not the greatest. I was shocked at how small of an area there was to actually dine in. My daughter was going to get a shirt and we were told we could order them online but they ran out of all of the ones they had at the store to sell. It isn't the same to order it online. Oh well hopefully they address the staff issues and we will try again next time we are in town.

Bloody Mary was amazing and I am wishing I had another but we've already left. The mix has chunks of olives or something and comes up your straw. We loved their food. Menu has a lot of options. Bacon and cheese tots were hot and crispy. Their in house ketchup is delish. Tried my sons chicken off the kids meal and it was hot, juicy and yummy. The burgers were good and came with fresh ingredients (roasted tomatoes were great) and a huge side pickle. Daughters ordered the eggs which I thought was a funny thing to have on the menu but they loved them. Only reason I didn't give it a five is I didn't get to see Nick! ;)

I had tried their food at the Taste and enjoyed it. I had an early dinner on a Saturday. Early enough so no wait. Overall, it was good. I had a turkey burger, which was not overcooked and tater tots with bacon and cheddar. Service was also good. I saw some bad reviews for their service, but no complaints here.

Went to Lachey's twice this weekend... Yup twice. We have two very different experiences. What I can say is that the food is good. We had tater tots both times and they are everything you could want from a bar- crunchy, greasy, cheesy, dipped in ranch. We also had buffalo chicken dip and a burger all of which were pretty good. Another perk of this restaurant is they use the NoWait App. We checked in from home and the 90 minute wait was made much more tolerable, especially since you can monitor your place in line on your phone. The issue with this restaurant is definitely the service. On Saturday night the bar was packed. It didn't appear as though they were staffed to serve such a crowd even though they have been open a few weeks. The bartender seemed put off by having to get me a beer. Once we were seated our waitress came by the table about every 20 minutes. Our food took so long that they brought us (along with 3 tables near us) a free appetizer. I do appreciate the gesture. It took us 25 minutes to get our bill and leave. We enjoyed our time at Lachey's because we were with friends and weren't in a hurry. My concern is that for a restaurant that is packed every weekend you would think they would have figured out how to accommodate the crowds. We went back for a quick drink today because we were in the neighborhood and things were much smoother as it was not crowded. It is a good restaurant but isn't quite on par with the other restaurants in the neighborhood in terms of service.

So. I think there are maybe a lot of preconceived notions surrounding a local bar with such celebrity gravitas. When I heard the bar had opened, I thought, "man, I'm pretty curious about this one". I heard some rumors about the place being pretty packed on a weekend and when I threw out the suggestion to come here during a weeknight, I was met with a little bit of discouragement and a few looks of, "are we really going to try and do this"? So, I was a bit apprehensive. But, it was my call and I made it. A small group of friends and I met here prior to an improv show at the Know. And, thankfully, the place wasn't too busy. Not dead by any means, but we had no problem finding a seat at the bar and there wasn't an annoying line like some hoity-toity South Beach club or anything. Which I think is a huge plus. We already have more expensive and flashy type places than this city can truly support. All told it was a pretty solid experience. The bartender was affable, the place wasn't too uptight, and Drew was hanging out overseeing his creation. Kudos. I think this is an excellent location, particularly if you are going to the Know, or if you're doing a pub crawl and you are taking that otherwise fairly long traverse between Vine and Main Street, that was previously akin to wandering down a dark alley alone in what was once the worst neighborhood in the city. The only real negative I found was that if you sit at the bar, tv's are situated directly above and are a pain to look up at. That and I am a bit surprised, what with Nick and Drew's Bearcat upbringing, that the "L" on the sign looks an awful lot like the "L" that the Louisville Cardinals sport.

Been here many, many times. There is a reason for that.... The service, the product, and environment are superb. The food is great, especially the wings and tots. The tots come with house made dipping sauces are great). The bartenders are very personable and beyond courteous. This bar is great for the causal night out, having a drink with friends or cheering on your favorite teams (better be Cincy related ) as they have numerous big tvs. Oh, and you may even run into to some successful old boy band members.

Ate here with our family & friends yesterday, the food was amazing! My hubby had the Hair of the Dog burger & said it was excellent, I tried the bison burger & it was excellent as well. The others in our group had the Build Your Own Burgers & the Pulled Pork which they all enjoyed, as was the fries & tater tots. My hubby wanted to try the Lacheys beer but they were out. Our waiter was ok, he got a few things wrong but nothing that wasn't too bad. Would love to see bottled purified water available. But loved the bar & loved the food! Will definitely be back again!!!

We ordered the burger, tater tots, and flatbread. The fries were soggy and not crisp, but the burger was good. The flatbread was plain and lacked in taste. The tater tots were so delicate that they broke apart upon touch, however, delicious like a childhood treat. The three sauces served with it were a homemade ketchup reminiscent of sleepy bee's, yellow sauce and a mayonnaise based sauce which we didn't try because it clearly looked like it was sitting out for a while with a film developed on top. Not appetizing. If you want to wait for ten minutes to get a drink go here. Three bartenders just looked at the patrons without interaction and ignored the corner I was in. The people next to us shared their same negative and slow service and empathized with us.

Things I really like: Vanessa Minillo Nick Lachey Stiegl Grapefruit Beer Kayla and Annie (waitresses at Lachey's) The massive red bathroom Their cuban sandwich (one could feed two people) There are a few things Lachey's needs to improve unfortunately. Then again, if I just opened up a new bar a few weeks ago, I would also need to improve a few things I'm sure. One of the TV's wasn't working properly and kept cutting out. That was frustrating for us trying to watch the game. Also, the food is... meh. The cuban sandwich was big enough for two people. The french fries were kind of gross. The zucchini sticks were bad. Then again, it's a sports bar right?

The reason why I give it 5 stars because I have actually seen Nick Lachey hanging out after a Bearcat basketball game, and it helps that he is a Bearcat fan. Also I saw and got a picture with Drew Lachey. That's what I want in a famous owners bar. I also love the scrolling ticker under the TVs with breaking news. The bathrooms are clean and there is a couch. (score!) I've been several times since it opened and had excellent and fast service each time.

I came here for opening day with my mom and sister. It was so busy! The wait was an hour and a half, so thankfully we found a couple of seats at the bar. They have a bar in front, couches in the back with a lounge-like feel, and tables everywhere else. There are a good number of craft beers on draft and a bunch more in bottles. They have domestics, too, if you're in the mood for that. They also have wine and a few cocktails on tap, which I found interesting. Happy hour is M-F 4-7pm, but it was a little confusing to figure out what was on special because it's not specified on the menu. We asked the bartender, and she said that most of their drafts for $5, domestic bottles were $2.50, and well drinks were I think $4. I had a Dogfish 90 minute which was great, and my mom ordered an amaretto sour. Neither drink seemed to be a part of the happy hour prices, but oh well. We had sides of fries and broccolini as snacks. They have two types of fries to choose from -- pommes frites and regular. They said that the pommes frites were really thin, so we opted for the regular. They were good, although the portion was a little small. I really liked the ketchup because it tasted homemade. The broccolini was delicious and had a light garlicky flavor. Drew Lachey was there greeting guests, which was neat, and the bartenders and staff were all very nice. Opening day seemed to be a success, and I'll definitely be back.

This place was awesome! They have happy hour from 4-8 Monday through Friday. They had a lot of beers on tab and even wine. They food was different than your typical bar, as in the food was more fancy, and wasn't too expensive. I had the broccolini and fries. The broccolini was delicious but I wasn't the biggest fan of the fries. The ketchup they served seemed to be homemade it wasn't your typical Heinz ketchup. I went on opening day so of course it was crowded, the wait for a table was an hour and a half to two hours, but thankfully we found some seats at the bar to sit at. Also, we got to see Drew Lachey as he was kindly greeting his customers.

My husband and I stopped by today for lunch not expecting to see either of the Lachey brothers. Lo and behold Nick and his entourage came in. I loved 98 Degrees growing up so I had to see if I could get a picture. Nick was nice and said yes. He thanked us for coming. It was a great experience. As for the food, we got the Cubano sandwich and a tot bowl to share. Both were yummy. We liked the experience so much my husband got a hat and I got a shirt. I would recommend this bar even if I hadn't had the opportunity to meet Nick!

Fun sports bar, with lots of TVs. I had the tater tots, the dips they come with are awesome. The happy hour runs pretty late. I would avoid the draft wine if you don't want a hang over. Service was pretty good. Good location, close parking at gateway.

Not all that it was cracked out to be. Slow service, tiny selection of food and average taste for an above average price.

I wasn't a fan of the food but all I had ordered was tator tots for happy hour. Okay selection of beer. The overall location is great and open. My waiter Josh was amazing!

The wings were great and the Sports theme goes well with any draft they have on tap. The waitresses weren't bad looking either!

I had an absolute great time at Lachey's last Friday night! The selection of beer was astronomical, our server was friendly, welcoming and funny, and the food was absolutely to die for! Beware; the portions are pretty big! The tator tot appetizer is a pound of tator tots! I don't see that as a negative, but some might. Also, the experience was a little bit pricey for me, around $30 for two drinks and a burger, but the experience was good enough that I would definitely go back! Money well spent!

In from CLE Easy walk from main, came here because Japs is a joke, their dance floor is way too crowded and ridiculously warm in there. Lets start with the positives: -Good beer selection -Tons of TVs, good sports bar -Service was outstanding -Bathrooms clean (even on a Saturday night at 1:30am) -Very nice inside, comfy seats, good for groups The negatives: -(personal preference) was a little disappointed they didn't sell beer buckets or pitchers of beer, figured with it being a sports bar they would. Conclusion: For a late night hangout, my experience was great. Next time in town, will visit this place again.

I wanted to not love this place because it felt so cliche. But I have to admit that of a group of ten of us, every single person loved it. So yes it is weird to give a sports bar five stars,..but they are doing sports bar food and atmosphere very well. Food wise- The tater tots were a stand out appetizer. The dipping sauces were fantastic. The burgers and fish tacos were also a big hit. OTR needed this type of establishment (roomy and not so hipster) and we will be back soon.

This is a cool new sports bar in OTR. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night. I liked that there were tables at different levels- bar height tables, booths, and regular tables. The beer was good. It was a bit strange that the taps are at eye level so you have to look around them to order drinks at the bar. I didn't order food, but I heard it is good. The bathroom was really nice for a bar, which I appreciate! I will definitely check it out again!!!

I want to like this bar.. but the service is sub-par. The hostess seemed clueless to the fact that she was seating three parties in one waitress' section at the same time. One table next to us actually got up and left because 15 minutes in, our waitress still hadn't been by. Once she came over, she apologized for the wait (which wasn't really her fault) and said the first round was on her. Not required.. but appreciated. We finally got around to ordering and food came out in a decent amount of time. after the delivery of our food, it was almost to the end of our meal we finally got checked in by our waitress. We all ordered a second round since we weren't' sure we'd see her again. I am someone who likes to have water when I am eating a meal and it was never even offered. I understand the trend to not bring water and a bar right away as many people don't drink it, but it would have been nice had she asked. Burgers were good, slightly over-cooked but seasoned well. Bacon and cheese tots only really had tiny bacon bits and a sprinkling of cheese that fell to the bottom of the bowl and was discovered once 90% of the tots were gone. We got the checks and realized our waitress had not comped our first round of drinks (which was in happy hour). Again, I didn't expect to get anything out of having to wait.. but she offered. If she wasn't going to follow through on that, she shouldn't have said anything. It was pushing 10 pm on a Tuesday evening and we were content with what we had already had to drink, so we passed. I'll probably give it another shot since they're still relatively new and it appears staff is still getting their groove.

Came in on a Friday night and waited an hour for a table but it was completely worth it. The bar during the wait was great. Attentive and knowledgeable bartenders. The hostess always kept her cool and was wonderfully assertive. Server Josh was incredibly personable and energetic. There was a bit of a hiccup with our order but manager Holly was on her game. She was understanding and empathetic. Food was good and we'd be back for that alone but the service was over the top. We will be regulars because of how awesome all the staff was. Awesome addition to Cincinnati

Great place!!! Wonderful food (tots are amazing) good beer selection, fun atmosphere, friendly staff, except the hostess is really rude. If you can get by her it's an enjoyable experience. Good job Nick and Drew!!!

I have to say...not bad Lachey brothers! The atmosphere was nice, service was fantastic and the food was actually really good! I had the pulled pork sandwich, excellent flavor, decent barbecue sauce too. Overall good experience! Oh and the women's bathroom (although a little dirty for my taste) was really really cool.

As a huge sports fan, I wanted a cool sports bar to call my place. All three of the times I've been, I have received terrible service. Unless you are of the male persuasion, you are guaranteed at least ten minutes until you're acknowledged by a bartender. I thought Cincy was a beer town? The selection here is of a typical chain. Wine options are slim to none and extremely pricy. The two stars are earned by the convenient location and all of the TV's.

We enjoyed our food, drinks, and the prices. The place is nicely laid out and accomplishes its goal of being a nicer sports bar. Service: We had two waiters because we had some late joins to our party. They were accommodating and nice about it. Our first waiter was not very good (thought they were out of the special when they weren't, didn't know the happy hour specials, just awkward), but our second was great. Our orders came out quickly and correct. She didn't really return after the food was delivered. The service just seemed aloof like you would get at a club, not a sports bar. Now that the other kinks of opening a new restaurant are worked out, I hope they focus on training their employees toward the desired vibe. Overall: Recommend going when you are looking for a Banks style restaurant in OTR.

    (4)
  • Travis L.

Staff behind the bar was not friendly and it was not even busy. If you have females bartending, you would think they would smile and be accommodating. This was a Saturday afternoon. Besides that issue, the bar is a great atmosphere to watch a sporting event.

More than aware of 'teething problems' that new restaurants can suffer, we deliberately waited a few weeks into 2015 before trying this new 'celebrity' entrant onto the OTR scene. It quickly became evident that we should've waited longer. A LOT longer. Or, preferably, not have bothered to darken their doorstep at all. When Lacheys first opened, their online menu showed several vegetarian entree items, all of which piqued the interest of my wife. Considering the place is within walking distance of our home and she needed to walk a little bit each day following back surgery, it seemed a no brainer to try the place out. We decided to visit outside any busy period, choosing late afternoon as a safe bet, hoping to be in and out fairly quickly before the post-work rush hit. We got that bit right. We were one of maybe 4 or 5 parties spread throughout the restaurant. Service was initially pleasant but things deteriorated rapidly when we discovered that, despite being open for only a few weeks, they had already decided to remove all vegetarian entrees from the menu because, our server stated, "there had been zero demand for them". To her credit, she did ask the chef to prepare something, namely the vegetarian sliders - basically grilled veggies smothered in cheese sauce popped on a hoagie style bun - that we had seen on that online menu just a few days earlier. However, this was not before the server offered the option of selecting a couple of the appetizers as my wife's main meal, adding a condescending "if I was a vegetarian I think that's what I would do". Condescension continued when my wife's dish was delivered... the server added "we can do this for you today, but be aware you won't ever be able to get it again" which felt like subtext for "why on earth would you chose to be vegetarian?" Serious server fail. But it got worse. When the bill arrived, my wife's vegetarian option was priced dollars HIGHER than the pulled-pork sandwich I ordered. In fact it was billed as a fish sandwich, something I queried which was answered with "that what I was told to ring it up as". Things never improved after that. I went on social media to publicly express my displeasure at how my wife had been talked down to. In doing so I found reference to a staff response that had been made about Lachey's meat-free choices wherein several of their fish dishes were actually suggested as vegetarian options. Clearly, despite the 'corporate' backing of this restaurant, it seems the staff/owners/managers just haven't got the faintest idea about food and/or how to treat customers. The next few weeks would add insult to injury. My wife wrote a public review of the restaurant, highlighting the shoddy experience we had received. Within a day she had a response from 4EG, the Lacheys business partners in the venture, apologizing profusely and offering to make it up to us with a complimentary meal adding that the bar's general manager would be in touch with her soon to schedule when that could be. My wife accepted the apology, commenting to me that the place seemed genuinely willing to make amends. We're always happy to give a place the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the general manager has NEVER contacted her, meaning that our first - and last - visit to Lacheys was a little more than a farce from beginning to end. I'm sure the place will attract a certain clientele given the Lachey brothers connection but there doesn't seem anything mainstream enough about the restaurant to make it anything close to an OTR favourite. Our experience suggests the staff are poorly and/or inadequately trained and management is not customer focused at all. Hell, it even fails as a sports bar because many of the big screen TV's have been situated in such a manner that, when you are sat at the bar, it's close to impossible to actually see the screen without some sort of physical dexterity/deformity that presumably only the interior designer has.

This is what I have heard around town about this place: "You know....I actually thought the food was really good!" I think many people went here for the first time expecting to hate it, and just like me, they came away pleasantly surprised. Attention to detail is what caught my eye here. Most sports bars fail miserably when it comes to this. Examples: bathrooms are crazy nice, food presentation is on par with a nice sit down restaurant, creative menu options, and very likable and pleasant servers. Slider Trio, Salads, Buff Chix Dip, Fries.....all light years above any other Sports Bar. Great TV setup and scads of memorabilia make this a great place to catch some Reds games this summer. My only criticism...stained and battered paper menus...always a pet peeve. Aside from that this was a flawless experience.

The one time I went there to get lunch and watch a game in the afternoon the service was horrible. Our waitress, who was very nice, just didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. We would order beers that were served in bottles (no fancy cocktails or even beers that need pouring from the tap) and it took a good 15-20 minutes before she would deliver them. At one point she came by to ask us how things were going, and all the sudden realized she had completely forgotten to put in our beer order. To top it off one of the TV's kept cutting in-and-out while we were watching a game. For a new place, Lachey's shouldn't already have TV problems, and staff should be better trained.

Tried to go here for dinner, waited 45 minutes, and left. While waiting I tried to get a drink at the bar. It took forever to get a drink. When I was paged for my reservation, I told we had to share a table. Really? I'm adult, there aren't picnic tables here, let's be real. Never again.

Lachey's was a disappointment. The place was packed on Saturday night, it was one in one out by the time we left. The bartenders were all cute girls wearing skimpy clothes, not a great sign. The service at the bar was awful. I swear I made eye contact with 2 bartenders several times and they kept helping other people who just walked up, and making drinks for the tickets the waitresses were sending in. The waitresses seemed to be doing lot better but I couldn't get one to serve me either. The beer selection was poor, none of my local favorites or go-to craft beers that most of the OTR bars have. That right there is a deal breaker to me. There is another great sports bar across the street with good beer selection and huge TVs, Rhinehaus. Another thing...my friend requested a 98 degrees song and the DJ said no!!!

Lachey's Bar has plenty of large screen TVs everywhere you turn, so I'd say it does a good job for sports fans, but I seriously doubt I will ever bother going back to this place, which is a shame since it is right on our doorstep. Lachey's has only been open for a few weeks, but somehow in that few weeks the only vegetarian options on their entree list (veggie grinder and veggie pizza) were "removed due to lack of sales" according to our server. The server tried to steer me toward the kale, quinoa and edamame salad (which I would have ordered had I not already eaten a salad for lunch), and helpfully pointed out that I could always order "a couple of sides" instead of an entree. Gee, thanks. She did, however, speak to the kitchen and they offered to make the veggie grinder, although I was warned "it won't be on the menu next time you visit so you probably won't be able to get it again." I give the kitchen credit for offering to make the sandwich, even though it had been removed from the menu. The sandwich was fine. Filled with an assortment of veggies (broccoli, Brussels sprouts, tomato, onion etc.) and covered in melted cheese on a buttered bun, it had a nice flavor and was hot and filling. Since it was not on the menu however, the kitchen told our server to ring it up as a fish sandwich. $12! I'm sorry, but a bun stuffed with grilled veggies and some cheese cost more than my husband's pulled pork sandwich?! Wow. Thanks but no thanks, Lachey brothers. I won't be back.

Look, a bar with 1,000 flatscreens! An electronic ticker running the latest sports scores! Is this Fridays? Willies? No, it is Lachey's in OTR. What is wrong with this place? Someone had the idiotic idea of putting a sports bar in the middle of Cincinnati's newest hip neighborhood; an area that features unique dining from people who know how to cook. I'm not sure how but they succeeded in screwing up bar food. I ordered the Tot Bowl which consisted of generic, frozen tater tots with cheese and bacon. Garbage. Next was a dish that consisted of Ritz crackers (no, really - RITZ CRACKERS) and a dip that looked like a melted cheese ball. And to add insult to injury, it took 25 MINUTES to deliver this sorry excuse of an appetizer. (Must've made a run to Kroger for some more Ritz!). Unless you consider Friday's fine dining you will be disappointed at Lachey's. My advice - walk past Lachey's to look in the window to get the latest scores and continue on to A Tavola or Senate. No, wait the restrooms were clean so if the need presents itself... This place has, at best, a year or two and the 'for lease' sign will go up.

A friend and I went to Lachey's yesterday. They have a bison burger, which we both wanted to try, but neither of us could justify spending $14 on a burger, so we went halvsies. Here is my super professional food-critic-esque review of Lachey's: -There's confusion among the staff about takeout. The host and hostess told us that they don't do takeout, but then as were sitting at the bar and watched someone walk up and get takeout. WHICH IS IT? We totally would have gotten takeout instead because we're takeout people. -You can't see all those TVs and the ticker display while you're sitting at the bar. When you're at the main part of the bar, right inside the front door, there's only one TV that is easily visible. Fine if you're watching a specific game, but if you want to see lots of things, don't sit at the bar. -We didn't get any alcohol (because going back to work), but the drinks are all pretty well priced. Craft beers for $5, craft cocktails for $8. Not cheap, but not the most expensive bar in OTR either. The cocktails looked interesting, there's at least one that I definitely want to try sometime. They also have non-alcoholic cocktails, which is super cool. -My friend was super hungry (I was pretty hungry too) so we also got a chicken BLT to split. The chicken sucked. It was like a fast food grilled chicken patty. The bacon was amazing, the sauce was okay (they chose spiciness over flavor), and there wasn't enough lettuce. Also way greasier than a BLT has any right to be. Should've skipped the chicken, used less butter, and charged less. -The bison burger was fantastic. Definitely not worth $14, though. The sauce was good, the red onions were great, the burger was really well cooked, and the burger-to-bun ratio was good. We think that the onion rings were fried, but they weren't battered, which we liked. Could've just been sauteed, but a lot of times red onions kind of lose color when you sautee and these were still very bright. Given the quantity of the burger, though, $9-10 would have been a much more reasonable price. We didn't see any of the regular beef burgers, but if the portions are similar to that of the bison burger, they're not worth their slightly cheaper $12 price tag. -Fries were good, but should have been served with some sort of sauce. Eat more than one at a time and your mouth is like a desert. -We didn't get a basket of tater tots (they have three heart-stopping but probably delicious flavors), but the people next to us did. It was a pretty big basket. Maybe the best value for your money that we saw (granted, we did not see even close to all of the menu items during our trip there) -We personally really enjoyed looking around the space - it used to be our rehearsal space, and it was cool to see what they did with everything. -The women's bathroom is swanky as fuck. There's a chaise lounge and the stalls are super private. Smells terrible though. No air freshener whatsoever. TL;DR - Totally a celebrity bar. If the name Lachey wasn't attached to it, everything would have been either higher quality or less expensive. Good alcohol selection. Everything in that regard is good quality. The inventory certainly isn't exhaustive, but it is diverse - a few things for everyone.

Not horrible but not good. My wife and I both went with a plate of sliders. The traditional burger and fish sliders were bland. The pulled pork slider had some flavor but wasn't anything exciting. My wife did a side of tater-tots which were straight from the freezer section of a grocery. Lacheys seems out of place in OTR, surrounded by high end or at least flavorful eateries. I'd have guessed, by the quality of food and the space, that I was a stones throw from a shitty mall or an outerbelt freeway at least.

I went today, Saturday, around 1PM. I was alone and figured I'd need to sit at the bar in order to get seated in a timely fashion. Normally I hate this, but the host (which now that I think about it and have google image searched might have been Drew Lachey... sorry, I wasn't into boy bands in the 90s so my context is poor) pointed me to a great spot at the corner, which gave me plenty of room. The waitress was great and once we established I was there for the food and not drinks, she got with the program and took good care of me. I had a burger with provolone and bacon and a side of BBQ sauce with fries. She didn't charge me for the Coke and my total was a VERY reasonable $13 and some change before tip. The burger was cooked a little more than medium but it was fine. The BBQ sauce is smoky and sweet and the fries were fresh cut style and hot. They came with a cup of ketchup, which was plentiful enough for me - and I like a lot of ketchup. The burger was served with a giant pickle spear, which I don't eat. It was noisy but not too bad and I thought the decor was fine. The Xavier game was playing on the TV and overhead and people seemed to be having a good time. It was a mixed crowd of older adults with their adult chidren, college guys, and couples out for a beer on a Saturday afternoon. With its location so close to Know Theatre and Ensemble Theatre, I can see myself eating here again and often!

What a clunker. I suppose it serves a purpose and needed style of bar for OTR (college friendly and price point friendly) but I just thought those Lachey brothers might have had a more creative vision. This is a typical sports bar with TVs, banquets, and b&w sports photos on the wall. On a Friday night it was packed with Greek life UC kids and early 20-something's. Not my thing, but certainly fills a need for cheap, sporty and college-aged in OTR.

Visited Lachey's Bar for the first time Sunday. It was a nice little spot. The food was really good. We ordered deviled eggs (4), which were delicious. I ordered OTR Chili and tots and my wife got the pulled pork sliders. We agreed that the food was great! Great atmosphere to watch any sporting event. The bar had a lot of TVs and scrolling tickers. I would say if you are in OTR and looking for a place with plenty of room, good food and plenty of TVs ... Lachey's Bar is the place to go!

Good service, weird smell, decent wings. Service- our bartender was attentive and prompt with drink refills. I even knocked over my first drink because I'm a clutz and she replaced it for free. She seemed a little distant but she was probably having a bad day or didn't like the other girl working behind the bar (the other girl was refusing to serve anyone except guys and her neckline was low enough to make a lingerie model blush). Either way I won't knock her for having an introverted day. It happens to all of us. Smell- from the moment I walked in this place just had a smell about it. Fairly reminiscent of my first high school boyfriend's car. He was a pizza delivery driver and kept his soccer cleats in the trunk. It wasn't awful to the point of nausea, but it was annoying. Wings- good. I like that the hot wasn't OMG hot. I like spicy, but I'm also a wimp who barely handles hot wing sauce because of the stigma the hotter the wings, the mightier the person, the least amount of good flavor. They weren't over sauced and I discovered the smell was probably in a rub/or sauce on the wings which tamed my overwhelming annoyance. I would've gave 4 stars but the lack of 'dress code' threw me off. If I wanted to look at set of boobs during my sports bar craving, I would go to hooters or tilted kilt and still not feel as embarrassed as I did for the other bartender.

Good food reasonable prices and lots of tv's. I noticed some other reviews indicated the bison burger was really overpriced, however, if they went to Kroger and purchased a small package of the bison steaks they'd pay $12 for 8oz. I've been to this bar several times and it will get busy and has been busy when I've been there so expecting my server to come over every 3 minutes to check on our table would seem a little unfair. The staff were friendly especially the hot hostess that we had, I think her name was Sam.

If you are from Cincinnati and familiar with the nightlife and restaurants in the area close your eyes and imagine a 4EG place. Then add 30 TV's , Keystone style food and a Longworth's type crowd that is Lachey's in a nut shell. With that being said it is still nice place and something OTR was definitely needing. If you wanted to catch a big game in OTR you were stuck between a rock and a hard place. You had one choice and that was Rhinehaus..... that choice had no food or seating. Lachey's Bar fills in the sports niche and it does it well. The open wrap around bar lined with over 20 taps has pretty much all the standards and the menu is great. If there is one thing that 4EG never messes up is the food. Just like all of their other establishments the food is marvelous here too. Price wise it is about average for OTR, they do have a happy hour from 4-7 but I did not get a good look at it.

Went to Lachey's on April 17th for the first time for my 35th birthday with a group of friends. By coincidence it was Q102 night and Nick was there. That's where the excitement ended. The service was horrible. Our party of 7 was constantly waiting on drinks. I'm not sure if our waitress was overwhelmed or just lazy but it easily took her at least 20 minutes and a reminder each time we ordered a drink. A couple of us ordered food, it was average, Nothing to rave about but not bad. I

Although the ambience is nice and unlike most OTR joins they actually have a lot of seating and standing space, we were disappointed with the food. We just ordered beers and a basket of zucchini fries but eating them was like swallowing a mouth full of oil with each bite. It's a decent sports bar, which OTR needed but I'm not sure if I will be returning.

Had a great time tonight at Lacheys. The service was outstanding and the food was great---love the tater tots, wings and deviled eggs. I'm a wanna-be foodie and my husband a bar food only kinda guy. Both of our needs were happily met.

Went on a Saturday night and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It was crowded but not miserable. Drinks were reasonably priced. One of the bartenders was too busy doing shots to serve anyone, so getting a drink took a little longer than most places. The DJ refused to play 98Degrees by request (said it was forbidden) I guess Drew and Nick don't want to appreciate how they became famous!

First the good. The bison burger and fish sandwich were excellent. Drinks are very good and Annie, our server, was very pleasant and engaging. The wait was an hour but we found room at the bar so no big deal. The atmosphere is OK being generally what you expect in a sports bar with lots of TVs and a barn-like atmosphere. Overall OK for the genre. I was surprised that there was absolutely no reference to the Lachey's other than the name. Now the bad. The bartenders were none too excited about their jobs talking among themselves and having to be flagged down to get a drink.Once seated at a communal table (pretty much same as sitting at the bar) it took 15 minutes to take our order. Not great but not horrible. We ordered food and another round of drinks. The drinks showed in 15 minutes - the food took 50. People on either side of us ordered after us and were done eating while we sat. I was about to leave when Annie promised us that we would get our food in 10 minutes or so and that the kitchen was very backed up. I'm looking around thinking that they are full but not everyone is eating so why on earth are they so delayed? Part of the reason I'm sure is. like so many places, this one thinks they need way too many items on the menu. They did take the food off the bill which speaks highly of their management. Overall Lachey's has an OK atmosphere, good drinks and excellent food. If they get their act together it may be around for a while. The 2 stars could go to 4 if they reduce their menu and work out the kinks. If not, look for a for sale sign once the "reality" show is done filming.

I'm not sure this place knows it's true identity. It's a sports bar that's trying to be a little more upscale but also trying to be hipster. The beer prices were awesome and I loved the homemade cocktails. The burgers and tots were delicious. It was cool that all tables were faces towards TVs. However our server seemed like she had no idea what she was doing and the decor inside was very bland. Overall it was an average experience. I could return or not return, don't really care.

4 of us dined at Lachey's yesterday evening about 5:45. Not many people there. Asked for a booth and was told they were for 5 or more guests. Proceeded to seat us at a high top table next to a large pole. We were then seated at a communal table for eight. The host repeatedly told us it was a communal table & others could be seated with us. Service was good. Food was average. When we were almost finished, the host that told us booths were only for 5 or more, seated 2 people at booth Not the best 1st time visit.

Food is good, atmosphere is cool...but what made this place GREAT for me and my friends was the staff! Everyone was nice and helpful! Our waitress Taylor was awesome! We came to watch march madness and she took great care of us the entire time!!! I would come back for her service alone. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and made me a fan of Lacheys for life. Excellent job!!!!

I went there on a Saturday night at 5:00 before a 7:10 Reds game. The place was packed and we had a 25 minute wait. Acceptable so far. We found two seats at the bar and it didn't take too long to get a beer. After that, everything went downhill fast! The bartender didn't ask if we wanted food, so when our table was ready, I waited for the bartender to come over. I had to stand up with my card in hand to get her to notice me. After paying, we got to our table and waited forever to get our beers and even longer to get our food. The food was mediocre and our server never came back to our table. She went to tables in front of us ant to our right but never came back to our table. To top it off, she didn't get my order right, so I had no way to tell her. It was a struggle just to find someone to take our money! I won't be back. Hire more people, especially on game days and when your TV show debuts!

We just stopped by Lachey's for lunch, and it was really good! A nice big space with lots of t.v.s - it was nice to not feel like like people were breathing down my neck while I was eating, I often feel like that at many of the other places in OTR. I got the Cubano sandwich and tater tots. The sandwich was really tasty (very big, I took half home), the tater tots were delicious. Tater tots are one of my favorite random foods, but not something you see at restaurants often so it was a bonus from the start. Our server was also really nice and friendly. I would definitely go back again.

My husband and I go out to dinner every week with another couple and started to do an alphabetical restaurant order. This week, we were on the letter "L" and picked this restaurant. So glad we did! They have happy hour from 4-8PM and since we didn't get there until 6:55, we were happy we still had a little time to take advantage of it. We ordered appetizers-zucchini frites and deviled eggs, which were both excellent! Two of us got the half pint sliders (which give you a sampling of blackened fish, pulled pork and bison burger-although you can get whatever combination you want) and the men ordered the bison and pulled pork sandwiches. We all really enjoyed our meals. Catie was our waitress and she did an excellent job! We loved the atmosphere with all the TV's and scrolling tickers. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here on a Thursday around 6 in time for happy hour. The happy hour offers great specials-- from 4-8 you get $2.00 off all drafts. In addition to a robust draft beer list, this restaurant also has 2 "draft" cocktails and about 6 "wines on tap." Anywhere you can get a Rhinegeist Truth for $3.00 a pint is okay by me! We shared the garlic Parmesan tot bowl and Brussel sprouts. I got the grilled mahi sandwich and my boyfriend got the "Hair of the Dog" burger with fries. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our food. I didn't try his burger, but I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts, tots and mahi sandwich. The mahi sandie was served on wheat toast and featured roasted tomatoes and grilled tomatoes. I really appreciate the lighter take as opposed to a greasy, fried fish sandwich. Other reviewers have complained about the service, but we had excellent service. The inside vibe is cool with America TVs. Just the sports bar OTR needs!

First time here. Took the wife out for her birthday and she had a build your burger which was fantastic. I had an appetizer meatball sampler was excellent. Finished it off with a pull pork sandwich with coleslaw. The coleslaw had a little kick to it and added to the sandwich which enhanced it a lot. Excellent place will be back.

I've been here once just for a few beers and to watch March Madness. The bar was packed and the place was extremely loud (understandable because of the game). It's more of a bar-focued place, so I didn't think it'd be too hard to get a beer at the bar- but I was wrong. I waited probably 25 minutes AT the bar waiting for someone to notice that I still had not gotten a drink. The bartenders were mostly girls which is fine, but they were all completely ignoring me and other girls at the bar and were too busy flirting with the other guy bartenders and customers. When I finally got waited on it happened to be a guy and he was friendly. I went back up to close my tab and that took another 20 minutes of waiting. That was especially ridiculous because there weren't many people up there anymore. I have never had the food there but I believe from the other reviews that it isn't too bad. I think next time I go back I'll try to go early and get a seat before it fills up. It sounds like I just had a bad first time experience, so I'm willing to go back and try it again some other time.

Excellent: 1) They added more TVs behind the bar - yay! More options to watch multiple games at once. 2) Tot Bowl. Enough said. 3) The sauces that come with the Tot Bowl. They served cheese, some kind of sweet/spicy ketchup, and a spicy ranch. I could eat/drink any of these as a meal itself! 4) Service was excellent. Our bartender and server were welcoming and on top of things. The manager/person in charge made sure we and the others in the bar were taken care of. Needless to say, even if you have to watch your team lose, this would be the bar to do it at.

Burgers were good, BUT. . . the first week they were opened the menu had happy hour times mentioned and our waitress said they hadn't worked the pricing out yet, nor could we order side salads, for reasons she did not know. No kids menu, no regular ketchup (only their house ketchup which was very bland) one of our beverages was served in an obviously dirty glass (the first week, really?) When we expressed these concerns to the general mgr., he said they opened before they were actually ready but they have the kinks worked out, so he hopes we will try them again?? After spending close to $100 ??? Save your money and go to one of the many other restaurants in the city that shows their customers that they really do appreciate them.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent menu and the quality of food! The beer and wine list are a perfect variety. Also, I was expecting some glitches with it being only day two. There weren't any. Service flowed with efficiency and knowledge and kindness. Cheers to the bar staff and our waitress! Nice job Lachey boys! And thanks for giving back to Cincinnati. I wish you the best of luck and success. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

It was Delish! Tater tots hands-down is something that you need to try. The chicken sandwich was also really good. Service was good. Very nice. Price is decent! Drew was there and was super nice and was kind enough to take a picture!

I've been here three times now, hoping that it would somehow redeem itself, but sadly that hasn't happened. The first time was actually the best, even though it was their opening night. I'm beginning to believe it's because we weren't eating and had canned beers and shots that night. The second time was for my boyfriends birthday on a Wednesday night. With it being a fun occasion we decided to get dirty vodka martinis only to find out that they somehow didn't have any olive juice! Are you serious? What bar doesn't have olive juice but has olives? They had to go to another bar around the corner to get some for us. The third time (and most likely the last time we will be back) everything was going so well...the service was good, the food was pretty good (we only had apps) but when it came to ordering baileys we found out that somehow they don't have anything like that?? Weird but whatever..so we ordered a White Russian which for whatever reason came out in a water glass, shaken and with so much cream that it was the color of milk. Obviously the bar needs some much needed attention and training on classic cocktails.

We were really looking forward to checking out Lachey's. Cincinnati loves Nick and Drew. Our first time there, we decided to arrive at 6, to avoid to mad rush. Looked on line and they do not accept reservations. Arrived at 610, put our names in. We were told our wait would be 90 minutes. We all decided it would be worth it to wait. We found an open area in the back in some couches. We ordered drinks... Service took a while but the bar was backed up. An hour and a half wait turned into 2.5 hours. Not once was there an apology. There was however a point where we were told we would have to exit our comfy couch area because they were 'reserved' at 8pm. Hmmm. They DO take reservations! Finally get our table and our waiter didn't introduce himself, didn't bring menus, silverware, etc. The food better be killer. It was so so. Typical bar fare. Had the staff been happy, friendly, outgoing, etc.... Maybe we would think about coming back. Not for a while. They need to find a groove. By the way, around 1030pm, hipsters flood the place. Music cranks. We felt too old to be there. If you flirt with the hostess, you will be seated before people waiting 2.5 hours when there is only a 1.5 hour wait. Maybe that is what throws the wait times off so much. Not impressed. There needs to be some presence of management. Seems the staff does whatever they want with no regard for the customers. We will give of months before returning. I hope things improve.
