Great fish sandwich, cheap drinks, & excellent bartenders. After I dropped out of college for the second time, this was my bar of choice. I'm from the Westside & I couldn't go in without seeing someone I know, or was related to - which is pretty comfy, truth be told. When I went back to college for the third time, the bar staff was so proud that they bought me a pitcher of Guinness and pitcher of Harp so that we could have a couple half and halves on the house. You can sit out on the patio, drink a few beers and shoot the breeze in a way that is becoming increasingly rare at bars in general. This is a great bar.

Where the hell is Nebraska avenue? Where does 8th street start? They intersect on the west side by an old cemetery. The Crow's Nest may look like a little dive bar from the outside, but once you get inside you'll find it's the best dive bar you've ever been in. The servers are all friendly, but don't be deceived by their mountain man looks. Most of them are killer bluegrass musicians, and the music they have in that place every single night will be some of the most boot-stomping fun you've ever had. Even their open mic nights (Tuesdays, if you're looking to go) are more fun than any other place in town.
