We were seated in the bar where one of two bartenders introduced himself "Travis" right away and took our drink orders. I had a draft Boston lager and Haggy had an Angry Orchard in the bottle. We got our drinks right away. Travis came back in a few minutes and offered to take our orders. I had the bacon lettuce tomato avocado (BLTA) sandwich with grilled chicken and my cohort had the Erma -size cheeseburger with cheddar. I enjoyed my sandwich although they were quite skimpy with both the avocado and the ranch dressing. So I thought the service was good and the food was pretty good.

We went there today and it was pretty good. BTW today wa a "free cookie Wednesday" so it was a plus. Food was good...my burger was a little more done than I asked for, but not too dry. My wife had a huge buffalo chicken burger that was amazing. We have never gotten a bad meal, and the only reason we do not fo more is because it is not to convenient from where we live.

In a mall area littered with chain restaurants, Max & Erma's is a well known chain that dishes up average burgers and sandwiches and provides adequate service for a fair price. Think Red Robin. The chains are nearly identical. When in town, this location has been good to us, always dishing up fair service and a burger than doesn't disappoint. Come for burgers and you'll be satisfied. Simple as that. This is a chain. It's obvious what you're going to get.

Excellent Service! Our waitresses name os Bridget and we highly recommend her, very sweet and fun. Such a cool restaurant! From the decor to the music they play and televisions for your enjoyment. The tomato and Basil Chicken Sandwich was amazing along with the Chicken noodle soup. Others in my group loved the french onion soup and the "Texas" burger which is not on the menu anymore but they gladly prepared it for us! Had a great lunch here!

Stopped in for lunch with my family. My sister said the tortilla soup was really good and that we should all try it. I ordered a cup of the soup, and the Caribbean Chicken. The food was out pretty quick and the waitress was really nice, always checking on us to refill drinks and see how we were doing. The soup was good. It was thick and almost had a nacho cheese flavor to it. Definitely different from the tortilla soup I am used to having in California. The Caribbean Chicken was served with broccoli and some sort of rice pilaf. The chicken was a little dry, but the flavor was good. I didn't need as much salsa as they gave me. The rice I didn't like at all, so I didn't eat it. The broccoli was the biggest let down for me though. I LOVE broccoli, it is one of my favorite veggies, and I like it just steamed with nothing on it. This broccoli was drenched in butter. It totally ruined it for me, and I thought it was funny that they put the butter all over it since this was a "no guilt" item on their menu. My family ordered Funnel Cake Fries for dessert but I didn't try them since i'm not a huge sweets person. I did think their Sundae Bar was cute, we were seated right by it. It's an antique bathtub filled with all the sundae fixings you could possibly want.

We had never been here but had heard good things about the burgers. We came on a Friday night and it was pretty empty. We were greeted and seated quickly. We had to wait a while for service and by the time she came for our drink order we were ready to order food. Husband ordered a burger with pulled pork on it and I ordered a brat burger with sauerkraut. When we received our main course we were disappointed with the amount of sauerkraut and mustard on the brat burger and with the amount of pulled pork and sauce on his because it was about a tablespoon sized gob. Flavor wise the sauerkraut brat burger was ok but really over cooked and dry. The pulled pork burger was also over cooked and flavorless. Ironically the fries were undercooked and lacking seasoning. Our glasses were so filled with ice that we each had a few sips and needed refills. The shining star of the meal was the pretzel sticks with cheese we had for an appetizer. These were very good and the cheese had a nice zip. Just a little too much salt but it was easy to shake it off. The service during our meal was just ok. The young lady was nice but very slow. To her credit I think she had a handful of tables that came at the same time. After dropping over $40 bucks for the meal I won't be going back. I usually give restaurants 2 chances but in this case I won't be coming back.

I was in town to see the Football HOF, had no idea of where to eat and I was on foot. I didn't want to drive tonight, so I look around... nothing that I want... too much national (and I had Chick-Fil-A Chikin for lunch) so I happen on this place. Never heard of it, passes mustard for me (I was looking for places outside of what i would get at home). Walk in and get seated... I have the LOVELIEST waitress named Martha. She suggests one thing that is special, I get a root beer float... YUM! I ordered a "Garbage Burger" medium rare. I didn't know I could do that. I don't know too many places that offer medium rare anymore back home. So many good tastes. Martha offered extra napkins (I jokingly said that someone must have called ahead... I admit it, my shirts get hungry and envious of my mouth!). Fries were so well seasoned I didn't have to season them (quite rare). Martha offered glass of water since I was enjoying my root beer float. Wow! Oh and the cookies... those are worth it, though they are a bit expensive. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself. I had a really wonderful experience... would go again.

I have to say I was very disappointed with my service here. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the manager who appeared to be covering for the actual bartender. The manager was awesome, served my drink promptly and took my food order. Well let me tell you I was extremely disappointed after the "real" bartender showed up. He took FOREVER to make my second drink. I'm talking 15 minutes and I was the only guest at the bar. He had 1 other table in the bar area. He also had drinks to make for a couple tables, as well as milkshakes to make and ice cream to scoop for the servers for the ice cream bar (WHY do they have the bartender divvying that out and not cooks?????) but all were ordered AFTER I ordered my $8 margarita (chose to have it with Patron). It was a drink on their prominently displayed drink menu yet he had to look up the recipe and then couldn't find one of the mixers. He kept saying "oh maybe I'll be able to get to your drink" or "I'm trying to get to it," but there is no way I should've waited that long. No way. They need properly trained bartenders who can handle their workload and manage priorities.

A really neat place to check out. The service was great, and so were the burgers. The cheesy tortilla soup was delicious and spicy but the Cajun shrimp pasta was a little bland.
