Broasted chicken did not disappoint (fyi, I usually prefer dark meat but this breast meat was so juicy I preferred it to the leg). Great rolls. Veg beef soup above average. However, all of the sides I tried we're disappointing (broasted potatoes, dressing, noodles, and corn nuggets), which means I can't give it over 4 stars. Would definitely go back though.

Yummy! This is one of the last trips I took with my mom before she passed away. We went down to Amish country because this is where she grew up, this is the food she knew, and this is what she wanted. It was AWESOME!!!! The food is traditional and to die for. The pie is amazing. The ice cream on top of the pie is even better. It's nothing fancy, and it doesn't need to be. The food speaks for itself. Like the other reviewer said, it's not touristy, or fake Amish crap. This stuff is the real freakin deal!

I travel a lot which gives me the chance to try some really great cuisine all over the U.S. and the world. Miller's will always be in my top 3 of favorite restaurants. My grandmother grew up in Baltic so we would visit family when I was younger. No frills, reliable service, and I get the same thing every single time. 3 piece broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and a double order of noodles. I eat one roll before my dinner comes and save one piece of chicken for the next day's lunch. The pumpkin pie is wonderful, almost a custard base so it has basically three slightly different textures in one piece of pie. It's wonderful. This is the type of place you expect good, homestyle cooking. The most authentic Amish food you will ever taste, it saddens me that the tourists buy into the Der Dutchman and Dutch Valley "authentic" lie.

A few years ago we visited Amish and fell into the tourists traps of the huge "authentic" Amish buffets and corporate restaurants. I was really disappointed but never found what I was looking for on that trip. I yelped before hand this time and found this gem. We checked into our cabin and un-packed then headed straight here. It was about a 15-20 min drive from the main strip in Berlin but the drive was mostly through main parts of the town and smooth and scenic. The place is humble and the wait for the food after you have ordered is longer than in the city. I will tell you though, I would drive even farther and wait even longer to enjoy this real Amish food. Their "broasted" chicken is amazing. Amazing! Crispy skin and moist flavorful meat but not a drop of greasiness. The noodles are soft but not mushy and flavorful but not too salty or brothy. The green beans were as soft as if they came out of a can but still a beautiful green. My guess is a pressure cooker. Their vegetable of the day was steamed buttered cabbage...yum. Also, the broasted potato is delish. It is a whole potato cut in half length wise and then its broasted. This yields a cripsy skin but a mashed potato inside. Perfect. For dessert I had the rhubarb pie....loved it.The rhubarb was soft but still had some chew and the sweetness from the sugar and the tartness from the rhubarb was very balanced. I also enjoyed the flaky crust. Others ordered a cherry pie, a blackberry pie, and a ground yellow cherry pie. All were great except the stone ground yellow cherry pie was not my thing. It was too gelatinous and lacked flavor other than sugar but I had never had one before so maybe that's what they are supposed to taste like? They open at 5:30 am for breakfast for the local farmers. That is where we plan on eating in the morning. Will fill you in on the breakfast.

Wonderful, simple, and surprisingly delicious! Up until now, I always thought chicken was chicken, and while it could be done wrong, only a sauce could make a chicken dish good. This was the best tasting chicken I have ever had! I would drive way out of the way to eat this chicken again.

Apparently someone thinks Miller's is closed. They are very much open. I just called them two days ago to verify their hours. Also, this place is the best when it comes to a real authentic Amish meal without the touristy drama. Best. Best. Best. Located right in downtown Baltic (if Baltic really even has a downtown???), it's one of my favorite places to eat as well as bring back baked goodness from. If you're looking for something swanky and with overly creative meals, don't come here.. but then again if you knew anything about Amish restaurants, you would already know this. If you want great home cooking that makes you swoon, the sweetest servers around, great prices, atmosphere and to die for pies... this is your haven. They have some of the best noodles and chicken around. Seriously. And their pies? Fabulous. It's hard to find if you don't know the area, but trust me... you'll want to map this out ahead (the gps on your phone will fail as you're bound to lose signal and go into roaming).

Came here from lunch and tried their hot roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. Was surprised by the meat which was unlike any roast beef I ever had before. The beef looked like brisket. This is not the cut used for roast beef. The potatoes were out of a box. The dinner roll and butter were fresh and good. Service was alittle slow.

This place rates higher than the corporate giant in the area. Nice little family place in the small town of Baltic. Good food, don't go there on a diet! Clean dining room & restrooms in the typical old small town building. Only thing I hated was the cheap-o chairs, tables & booths. You are AMISH, been there for years! Get some of your family members to make new craftsman furniture. Show off the Amish lifestyle in more ways than the food. Good place.
