Nice people, with very good and well kept tent sites. No fire rings and the usual highway noise, but super clean rest rooms and hot showers. Definitely worth the stop... Didn't have time to try the food, but they also had an extensive menu for their cafe. This one really deserves their President's award...

It is clean and staff is friendly but it is impossible to sleep in a tent due to highway noise. I should have known better as it is located adjacent to I-40.

Another great find...clean..very well run...if we had skipped the grocery store we would have made it in time for the dinner they serve which is supposed to be good..oh well...maybe next time...it's quiet ..enough off the interstate so that highway noise is minimum..I've heard way worse highway noise.....cool breeze blowing....

This is a typical KOA Campground with full hook-ups, 30 & 50 amp, free cable TV (with both Amarillo & Albuquerque channels) & big rig sites. There is a restaurant with RV site delivery, but we did not try the fare. There is a nice pool and laundry facilities. As is usual for KOA Campgrounds, it is pricey for what it is. Most of the RV spaces are gravel. It does have easy access to I-40. Not much in the way of eye appeal.

My Family and I had a really great time here. I highly recommend it. Pros: The Hosts of this KOA were friendly and professional. They made sure our time here was well enjoyed. Cons: None that I can think of. The cabin we stayed in was perfect! *note* There are lots of rabbits here.

Edit: This was 3 stars and now it's 1. I called the next morning to make sure my card wasn't going to be charged for the 5 minutes I spend at this campground. The owner was very confrontational and lacked basic phone etiquette. She was rude and accused me of trying to pull one over on her. Because that makes sense, leaving my card information with this place only to try and "pull one over" on her. She threatened to call police. This of corse is where I lost my cordial attitude. "Are you f#*%ing kidding me?!" Was probably the worst thing I said. She eventually hung up on me when I told her if I was charged I'd filed a fraud claim with my bank. The woman was a total degenerate. Sure enough my card was charged. Bummer. At no fault of KOA, but I've never seen so many mosquitoes in my life, and I've lived in the swamps of Florida. In the 5 minutes it took me to set up my tent, it was swarming with them. Maybe it was the time of year (Late July) but I immediately left when my dogs face began to swell up and drove 2 hours into Albuquerque. Ended up just staying in a motel :(

Nice little over night place to stay, neat little cabins. Bare in mind nothing fancy but a warm place to get some sleep. Very clean restroom facilities.

Just a one-night stay driving through and loved it. Nice level spots, easy access. Small cafe - delivered breakfast to campsite. Husband couldn't resist the opportunity.... Easy on me, didn't have to dirty anything on such a quick stop
