Saturday's has been a tradition in hobbs for twenty plus years! The service can be spotty at times because the owner hires teens on the edge of being in trouble and gives them a real chance to bootstrap themselves into a better life. I have watched a lot of young women turn into ladies well worth hiring. The food is basically diner fare and on the top end of quality. The individual who owns the place is there from open to close and he makes sure the food is great! Every restraunt will have popularity cycles but on the weekend the wait time can get a little long because the prices are in reach of teens on a date! It is a good place to go. Being sixty I prefer about 2:30 PM during the week but when a fritopie is your hanker anytime is good to go!

Food is pretty good. Ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich. Wish they served beer. We came during the summer and there were lots of flies. But the whole city had lots of flies

Food good, service is lacking. I went there with my family on a Sunday afternoon. Our server did not once ask if we needed a refill and when leaving I was informed that they had included the tip in my ticket already. For the service I received I would not have tipped them as good as they tipped themselves. Will not be going back.

We have been trying new places in this small town to find good food. It is very very hard to find anything here. However, after seeing the cobbler and fried pickles announcement on their sign we decided to try this place. I'm so glad we did!!! My husband had the big bopper hamburger and tater tots and I had the chicken fried steak with onion rings. Both were very good, as well as the fried pickles. The peach cobbler is fantastic!!! Must try this place!!!
