Yes there are more upscale casinos in the area, but you won't find a more friendlier and caring staff. I love this casino! The pit bosses are great. They have specials like three to one payouts for blackjacks and first card out is an Ace. They keep things fun and lively. You cannot drink at the gaming tables in New Mexico. This casino is no different. But they do bring around free coffee, soda and water. We have played at a number of Indian casinos around the country. Some are very lavish and grand. The Santa Ana is not lavish or grand. But it is the most fun we have playing blackjack . . . and that includes Vegas. The reason? The pit bosses, the casino customer service mentality and the helpfulness of the the entire staff. Update 11/20/2012: The casino is redoing much of the floor area. The pits and slots have moved. A new General Manager was hired. If you are a newbie that wants to learn how to gamble, this is a good location. BLACKJACK TIP: Ask for a blackjack odds card. You can use it at the table. It helps you learn when to hit, stand, double or split. This casino also allows surrendering as well. Like many casinos, dealers are not always in line with the odds card. For example, if a dealer has a 2 or 3 showing and you have a 12, the odds tells you to hit. Again, a great place to learn how to play. Food: We ate there on 11/19 at Sadies. Sadies is a well known Mexican eatery that makes salsa sold throughout the United States. We felt this was a great move by the casino. The food was plentiful and I do mean it was a lot! The bar has free Sadie's chips and salsa.

All you can eat crab and prime rib! Prime rib is not over cooked and you can get it rare(which is rare for a buffet) or grilled to your preferred doneness. Fresh oyster salad what more can you ask for?

This will be my last time coming to this buffet. The food was horrible! It tasted like it was sitting there for days, and wasn't even hot. The dessert tasted very old as well. This was the worst buffet I have ever been to. I would not recommend going to this buffet. I left there very disappointed, and sick to my stomach.

This is probably the best Indian casino buffet in the state of New Mexico judging from the excellent *feasts* we've enjoyed here on Sunday mornings/afternoons. Plenty of cooked and peeled shrimp and crab legs dominate the menus and I've even seen live performers there on occaision. The desserts are also pretty awesome and the usual food offerings, for the most part, seem like they are cooked on the premesis. During the rest of the week, the quality drops a little bit, but the traffic is down on those days... Note that if you become a card holder, you get a couple bucks off of these buffets too... A plus in my book!

Did the Friday night seafood buffet. Good snow crab legs and thats about all. The beef was strangely flavored, salad bar OK. Not worth $19.95. Everything seemed bland or deep fried or both. Some items not labeled...e.g. "Captain's Catch"
