Really like Patricia's Cafe! It is a small neighborhood place with really good green and red chile. The carne adovado was tender and tasty! Omelette was perfectly cooked. Food arrives fast and hot. Servers are friendly.

This is the greatest dining experience I've had since I've been in New Mexico. Everything was perfection and I absolutely love the staff. The sopapillas were divine! :)

Patricia's is great neighborhood New Mexican food restaurant. I'm assuming the friendly lady that always asks about my day/job/life is Patricia. The level of service, is exactly what you should expect from a family owned restaurant. Great red chile and even better sopapillas. And every entree comes with not 1, not 2, but 3 of them. Give it a try on your lunch break, you won't be disappointed.

Decided to try this place today based solely on it's yelp reviews, and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent. Portion sizes were average, but authentic New Mexican and tasty. The red chili was great. I had the Huevos Rancheros with sopapeias instead of the tortilla. My other son had the beef taco plate and loved it. We all shared a short stack of pancakes light and fluffy. Had the home cooked family run feel. It is a small place nothing fancy but comfortable. The prices were very reasonable. Breakfast for three with drinks and a side of a short stack to share $ 30 bucks before tip. We will be back!

The food is tasty and spicy! The cafe is small and very cute. While they were cooking, the air of the cafe filled with chile so much so that it made me start coughing. The employees were very nice and personable - it felt like we were all good friends! I had the huevos rancheros with green chile and a tortilla. Overall, it is one of the better huevos I've tried! The chile was fresh and good, but after seeing the other reviews I want to try the red chile next time. The beans were nothing special, but the potatoes were amazing. And the tortilla was flaky and delicious. I will definitely go back! I really enjoyed my meal and the overall experience at Patricia's! They are open from 8am-3pm.

***edit*** "Grilled Chicken Burrito". Get it. A strip mall dive with delicious homemade New Mexican style food. None of that storebought premade junk you get at some restaurants. $5 lunch specials. Free chips (homemade corn and flour) and great salsa. The prices here cannot be beat.

Great traditional New Mexican breakfast items are on offer here behind the usual strip mall exterior. Huevos Rancheros were delicious in both red and green chile sauce. My kids enjoyed french toast, waffles, and sopaipillas. Staff was friendly and on their toes. Looks like a fair number of neighborhood locals drop in here pretty frequently.

This is hands down my favorite place to go in ABQ for a breakfast taco. the family who runs the business is so nice, and the food is fresh, quality. Love love love this place. Only wish I lived closer.

Three generations family operation with good New Mexican food. Carne Adovada is their best dish. Chili made daily from whole pod, roasted. Casual with easy parking right in front. Real honey for sopapillas, desert mesquite.

It is so much fun for this New Mexico native to come to town and get a great green chili breakfast! This place is awesome!

This is a hidden gem; easy to miss with it's location in a nondescript strip mall. The red curry in particular has a delicious, complex flavor. It's not very hot, but that means you can eat a lot of it and enjoy the flavor. The green curry is also fresh and tasty. I've only been here for breakfast; in addition to New Mexican dishes they have things like pancakes and French toast which my kids enjoyed. My son raved about the French toast and is asking how soon we can go back. It's nice that the breakfast and lunch menus are both served all day. Now if they were only open for dinner...

Let me start by saying, my experience at Patricia's was lovely. I cannot think of a single aspect that makes them worthy of any less than five stars. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, the family is warm and welcoming. You really do feel like you're in someone's home for Sunday brunch. Except it was a Thursday, and we were surrounded by strangers. My beau ordered the carnitas lunch plate and raved about everything from the tender pork to the perfect refried pinto beans. I had the green chile chicken enchiladas, which is as traditional New Mexican as it gets for a native, with an egg on top and a side of pan fried potatoes. The portion was quite impressive, especially for the reasonable price. I got two meals out of it. The enchiladas were filled with moist chunks of chicken breast and layered, the sauce was the traditional soup n' green chile, but done very well. Better than mom used to make. The potatoes were delicious, too! I poured red chile on my dish and couldn't quite tell which was hotter or even which I liked better. The chile was on the hotter side but not hot enough to scare away New Mexican food newbies or friends from out of town. Then again, I have a high tolerance so do not take my word for it. With our meal came sopapillas and quite a lot, at that! They are smaller than most restaurants make them but I loved that. I thought they were perfectly portioned. The texture was spot on and they didn't seem oily. Finally, the natillas. They were fluffy and light, with bits of rice and flavored with a little cinnamon. They're just slightly sweet, ideal after a heavier lunch. Our server, who's name I didn't catch, was very sweet and immensely helpful. When I ordered hot tea and mentioned my awful allergies, she brought me tea from her own personal stash she thought would help. It did! Once again, the prices here are as inexpensive as it gets for quality lunch in the neighborhood. Patricia's lunch is more like a dinner portion so if you want a filling lunch on a budget, you cannot go wrong!

Best chicken burrito ever! The chicken is seasoned wonderfully. The burrito is filled with grilled veges and NOT loaded down with beans and rice. I hope to patronize this nice little restaurant again.

For a Mexican Breakfast, there is none better. Patricia's huevos rancheros are so GOOD! Homemade red chile, homemade torillas..mmmm..I get them every time I go. My friend, however, gets the Carnitas...and he loves them. In my opinion, if you hunger for good mexican breakfast..this is the place.

Not a good experience at all! Cold food horrible service the red chile should just be called garlic sauce! Will never return if I could leave 0 stars I would!

Two words: carne adovada. It's all you need to know about Patricia's Cafe. Perhaps you've been to El Modelo and you think there's no other standard in town. Do yourself a favor and get to Patricia's Cafe and have either the carne adovada or the secret-not-even-on-the-menu-but-oh-so-good chicken adovada. If you aren't impressed with how Patricia makes red chile sing, I don't know how to help you. If you're looking for slick atmosphere, this small local family run cafe is not for you; but if you appreciate homemade New Mexican food at reasonable prices you should be pleased with this new find.
