What do I like best about Milly's? "Milly's Breakfast" or Jody? "Potatoes and eggs smothered with red or green chile, cheese, sausage, bacon, and ham, topped with two eggs any style, served with a flour tortilla," or smiling Jody, who is happiest when she's waiting on the entire restaurant in the Saturday morning pre-7:30 rush of mostly regulars? The delicious blend of tons of meat, cheese, chile and egg; or the way Jody remembers not only our names, but also the fact that she remembers our exact regular order ("Milly's, Over Medium, Christmas, English Muffin") AND our change of pace order (Rick had the #2 with pancakes today)? The huge portions or the way Jody brings my to-go box with my b'fast? I guess I just like Milly's....a lot.....at least twice a month. That is all.

My rating won't change yet, but my second visit was less inspiring than the first. Service was still only mediocre. The main reason I wanted to add another review was for the Roast Beef Philly sandwich. The meat was not bad but the "special sauce" I think was just a watered down low end barbecue sauce. Lackluster and unimaginative. I guess we can't all be great chefs. Lastly I was disappointed with the amount of fries served with my sandwich. I'll probably be back because they are convenient and inexpensive, I just need to find what they do right and avoid what they don't do well.

I'm writing this review while sitting at the table waiting for my food... First impression - I walked in the door and there was no direction on what to do. No one greeted me, and there is no sign that says "seat yourself". I sat down assuming that's what to do. After a few moments, my waitress stopped by and asked what I would like to drink. A few moments later she brought my drink and asked what I would like to eat. Not going out if her way to be friendly, but not rude either. It's 11:51am in a Thursday - the restaurant is at about 50% capacity. There is a lot of chatter - normal for a restaurant of this type I think. The plastic menu was placed on the table after it was wiped down, so the table underneath is still wet - shows a lack of detail, but not a big deal. Food showed up fast! Looks very good. Time to eat. Food is good. Especially for price. Interesting thing though - my waitress is happily talking to all of her other tables though, and somewhat ignoring me. I think they are regulars. I purposely sucked down my water to see if she would notice. She did very quickly. Bought a chocolate chip cookie to go. One of the best cookies I've ever had. Overall experience 8 out of 10

I am in New Mexico for a few weeks on business and was looking for a lunch place and found Milly's. I have to say I was surprised by the food and the crowd. The patrons all looked like repeat business to me along with several people who came and carried out food. The menu was good and long. I had the green chili chicken soup and a BLT with fries. The BLT was excellent with good bacon along with some avocado to spruce it up more. The soup was good too. I will be going back there for sure on my trip as I am out here three weeks. It was nice to stumble upon the place and support a local business.

I had quite a bit of hope for this place, seeing as I've eaten at the Jefferson location and had a great experience there. Yes, the food was inexpensive. However, the potatoes were undercooked and there wasn't nearly enough substance on my plate. What I wanted was a meal with potatoes, eggs, cheese, and red and green chile. I received a plate that mostly consisted of cheese and chile sauce. It was sort of like soup. In addition, service was not good: the waitress did not clean our table when we sat down (the table and the plastic menu were filthy with food debris and used sugar packets), and when I asked for a new water, having had to use mine to clean the table, she never brought it. She was busy texting at the cashier's station. I'm not saying that the restaurant on a whole is bad, but my experience was. Will not be returning.

My wife and me have been going to Milly's for years. We love the food. Never had a bad meal there. Service is great and friendly. Fast courteous service. The cashier is a little snippy though, and I don't mean Milly.

I love this place have been going here for years. The wait staff is great, I think it's also an indication of things in the kitchen because our lunch was delicious as always. On this day I had the cheese enchilada plate my wife had the SW chicken sandwich. We were both very satisfied with the quality and portion size and price. Our waitress kept our drinks full and was cheerful and fast. They've updated their menu, I added some pics of it today. I'd recommend Milly's to anyone if you're hungry and in the area give them a try. They have a wide range of foods traditional American, Greek, New Mexican and a range of deli style sandwiches. It's a great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch they're not open for dinner. There's also a location on Jefferson (same story service and all).

My husband and I have been going to Milly's for years. Many of the staff members have been there since we first discovered the restaurant. They are very friendly and helpful. Their menu is filled with a diverse breakfast and lunch items and / or meals. So far everything I have tried has been delicious and I end up ordering again. At this rate it will take me years to eat everything on the menu!

I've passed this place on daily basis on my commute and finally decided to give it a try. I tried the breakfast burrito with red chile. While the price was fair, the quality of food was pretty mediocre. The tortilla was of the cheap white flour macro-produced variety and the bacon was chewy generic Hormel style. The cheese was of similar quality. The worst part was the potatoes,. The hashbrowns tasted like the frozen kind you buy in a bag at Wal-Mart. The coffee (can't have a BB without coffee) was watery and bitter. I would also like to add that the service left much to be desired. Needless to say, I probably won't return... If you are looking for a stellar breakfast experience for the same price . I recommend The Sandwich Company, just slightly east on Candelaria and Carlsile. There they do everything right and and the service exceptional.

Good spot for an average lunch. I have always found the service to be efficient and friendly during lunch. They get pretty busy around lunchtime, but they don't seem to miss a beat. I have dined in and done carry-out, both with good experiences. The menu offers the basics without a great deal of variety. I typically get the ham and swiss with a cup of the green chili chicken soup (pretty good). While the area of town that it is in is a bit industrial, the crowd tends to be professionals on their lunch break. My take on the cost - prices are a little on the high side given that the food and selection is pretty basic - but certainly not over-priced. I continue to frequent mainly because the food is decent, service is good and fast and it is convenient. One downside, I have consistently found that the bathrooms aren't very clean - not sure why. My advice - spend your lunch break here, take your bathroom break back at the office.

Ordered takeout: Rueben with Fries. Rye was greasy, beef was dry, thousand and kraut were spot on. Fries tasted like they were old. Ten bucks for a mediocre sandwich: ouch. Up in the air if I'll be back. Folks are nice!

Good little food joint, I have had a sandwich here which was nothing to swoon over. However I enjoy their green chile chicken soup. It's delicious. I really love green chile stew and this is the only place I have ever found green chile chicken soup, it is probably the only thing I would order from here because I know it's delicious! Above all, nothing to go gaga over, but worth a try.

Alejandra's review of the menu is spot on. Fast, easy, inexpensive and delicious. The outside doesn't look like anything special but the food is solid. Probably not my favorite of anything, but really good and the prices are fantastic.

Great brunch spot. I make the regular rounds at Milly's because they're great for a traditional diner-style approach to brunch. They have a really varied menu that features huge portions of breakfast classics, New Mexican food, and Greek specialities, with salads and sandwiches to round things out. Basically, there is something for whatever you happen to be in the mood for whether it be gyros, enchiladas, or a BLT. The portions are large, and make awesome leftovers. You can also pick up tasty home-baked goodies like cookies or rice-crispy treat at the cash register. It's usually really busy on weekends, but Milly's has a really friendly, convivial vibe so it's not a problem. The waitstaff are terrific, so you won't have to wait too long to get your order or to sit down.
