Very friendly and they truly appreciate your business. JJs makes a thinner style of pizza with a fluffy outer crust. Good flavor and prices. They deliver but close by only call for delivery area cut-off. Support local business. Support JJs pizza!

Don't let the look of this place dissuade you from going here and trying their pizza. The interior of JJ's is your typical divey pizza parlor. It's rough around the edges and could use a serious facelift. But I'm diggin' their colorful curtains. They have the obligatory video games off to one side. I spent way too much time in a pizza joint like this during high school. The PacMan game there got way too many of my quarters. Don't tell my parents. The pizza is mighty tasty. There were four of us, so we ordered two large pizzas. One with half Green Chile Bacon Cheeseburger and half Super Combo. The Super Combo is basically the kitchen sink of pizzas. Everything's on it: Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Sausage, Beef, Mushrooms, Bell Peppers, Onions, Black Olives. The other pizza was a custom job with half pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple and half ham and ... extra cheese? I'm not sure, because the person who ordered that half, slathered his half with hot sauce. He then dipped each slice in Ranch dressing before taking each bite. Creative, for sure. I like the concept. But didn't try this one. I love the Green Chile Bacon Cheeseburger pizza! It's as spicy as you imagine it to be. My first choice of what we ordered. The other pizzas tasted as you'd hope they'd taste. Their crust is quite good. Not too thick and has a semi-crunchy semi-soft texture. And I understand one of the main motivations behind opening this pizza place was to make the crust fresh every day. They serve individual slices, which I haven't seen much elsewhere, but what do I know? I don't eat pizza much. It's a carb thing. Anyway, the slices are humongous. Reasonably priced and a great serving size. Give these guys a try.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have a major problem with businesses that have such poor customer service, they can't even answer their phone. I've called them 3 times letting the phone ring for 2 minutes each time -- no answer. They are open. It's 8:30pm on a Monday and they close at 9:30pm. If they can't even answer their phone, I can't imagine how slow they are to make/deliver pizza.

Awesome pizza! Good Subs. Fast delivery. Our work is just down the street, so we like to order JJs from time to time. Hard to beat.

My second favorite non brick oven pizza in town. The spice in the sauce is just right and the crust is delicious! Nice and doughy. People who don't like this place are crazy... The amount of pizza you get for the price is great. Atmosphere of the dine in is like an old Pizza Hut used to be with a couple of video games for you to play. So if you like to reminisce come here. :)

I'm just here to share some love for the meatball calzone. It was the first thing I ever ordered from JJ's and I've never been compelled to get anything else becasue it's great.

My favorite pizza in Albuquerque (besides Amorè). We always get the Green Chile and pepperoni. The crust is divine, the cheese is just right, and perfect amount of sauce. Mm mm...I know what we are getting for dinner!:):):)

Quick delivery and cheap prices but the food tasted cheap as well. Not horrible but I would rather go elsewhere

The pizza is good, no doubt. We have been eating here for years. My low score is because the cleanliness has started to go down. Last visit a cook was wearing dirty sandals in the kitchen, and young girl was handling everything. Time before that several staff were eating in the kitchen area, and same young girl was eating and then handled my pizza. Sadly, we won't be going back.

I didn't try the pizza, but the sandwich I had was fantastic. I had to ask if they made their own bread because it was so good. I'll have to come back to try the pizza. For a divey little place, it has some legit food. The staff is pretty cool too, but best of all - they have a flippin' Gauntlet II arcade machine! Haven't seen one in 20 years.

My boss decided to feed us after 4, 12 hour days in a row. He bought us J.J.'s. So unfortunate that our "reward" ended up not getting eaten after we each tried a bite. The dough was like cardboard and had a very strange texture. The toppings were sparse and there was very little sauce. SO DISAPPOINTING!!

Delicious pizza, and great prices (even after delivery is included). This is one of the few places that delivers to my work (in a timely manner) so I eat here at least twice a month. The food is always fresh, and the gentlemen who deliver are always nice! I've never been inside it though, so I can't comment on that, but I can say that I've never had a bad thing to say about it!

JJ's is probably the most under-rated/under-known pizza in Albuquerque. This is a great pizza place. They've got an excellent crust, and the best sauce around. The staff is nice, and their price for 2 slices and a drink is less than $6. It's also right on Menaul, in the heart of civilization, as opposed to ABQ's other great pizza places (Giovanni's and Da Vinci's), which require an expedition to the hinterlands. I eat there twice as much as any other restaurant in Albuquerque because of their prices and location. They've got two and half bad video games (R-Type has been broken for years! Fix that poor machine! Or better yet, replace it with a pinball table!), and goofy 80s decorations on the walls, so it's a relaxing place to hang out. They also offer large sodas, which always scores a point from me.

Stopped for a quick bite on the way out of town, heading home after a 2 week road trip. Pizza was great, crust was not greasy at all, crisp on the bottom, chewy inside, exactly the way I like. Had a half cheese, half pepperoni. Toppings good, great cheese and sauce balance, and my 3 and 6 year olds loved it. Bread sticks were yummy too! The employee working the counter was very friendly and helpful, and I got to indulge my retro geek with a game of Gauntlet II! If we lived here, it would be a regular choice. Will definitely stop again when we pass through.

We had a pizza party for Christmas at work, and someone suggested J.J.'s. It's an unassuming little place on Menaul. The pizza was a huge hit at work. The Green Chile Bacon Cheeseburger was the best, but the Super Combo and the Chicken Supreme were also great.

Being from the NJ/NY area, a.k.a. the King of Delicious Pizza, I am very picky about my pizza so I'm weary when it comes to trying new places in NM. However, I was continuously hounded to give this place a shot. First of all, they deliver which is a HUGE plus for me considering not many places offer delivery service. We tried the Ranchero, a pie with pineapples, and some of their cheesy breadsticks. I really enjoyed the breadsticks and the pizza was better than Dion's and almost measured up to the greatness back East. However, my biggest issue was that they hardly added any pineapple on top of the pie at all. On most slices there was only one meager chunk of pineapple which kind of disappointed me because I really like the Hawaiian pies. But, we'll be ordering from this place regularly now because they come quickly and it was a good meal. For all of the food it cam to about $27 (with coupon) which isn't that bad because it came with enough food for 5 and we definitely had leftovers. I would recommend it and can't wait to try their calzone (as all Italians know it's the real test for authenticity)!

This was my first visit and I bought a whole pie and it was decent but still overpriced in terms of the amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings they put on it. If what I got is what they normally go with then they need to drop the price of the whole pies by at least a few dollars. All things considered, Dion's is better in price, taste, and quality.

Very good. We got a little bit of everything. The pizza had good sauce and crust. The pasta was nice and flavorful. The sub decent. The calzone was awesome and really big. We will definitely eat here again.

i learned about this restaurant via Gil Garduno's website, nmgastronome.com . Thought I'd give it a try before hopping over to my Con't Ed class at UNM last night- ordered a medium pizza, half Ranchero (their specialty-- green chile, bacon, sausage, pepperoni) and half pepperoni with pineapple (my fav). I liked the Ranchero better than the pepperoni/pineapple (altho there was nothing wrong with it)-- the sauce was delicious and the crust was really chewy. I'm a fan of Giovanni's NY pizza and eat there as often as I can but this pizza was pretty good for a 'regular' pizza. I'd say, give it a try.
