Well, every 5 or so years its probably a good idea to go out and get your rear end kicked to remind you about past experiences. Almost like a tetanus booster shot so to speak. You just need one without really understanding why. That was my experience. Like getting the news from the doctor- you need a tetanus booster. More out of convenience my wife and I stopped to grab a quick bite to eat. We went in and I noticed several waitstaff milling around without many customers. We're were given out table immediate and out drink order was taken. We did get our drinks in a timely manner. And then it went downhill.....no it went off a cliff.....no actually it was more if like a powered dive in a jet airplane towards the ground. We waited like 30 min to have our order taken. My wife actually asked the hostess for help. She came back and IT STILL TOOK 10 min to get help! Uggh! Normally I would have walked out. But much like the tetanus booster, I had to go through with it. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich hold the mayo. It was not good. In fairness, the chicken was cooked properly, but it had no taste and the bun was soggy. The sweet potato fries were more like oil sponges. Well, one waiter who was trying came by and have us our check and did give us a discount for our inconvenience. The poor guy should work somewhere else. In the mean time I counted 7 waitresses talking and chatting with the cook staff. I went to pay, and literally had two waitresses come through the area and not even address that I was there to GIVE THEM MONEY! I have no idea who runs this place, but it is a prime candidate for one of those restaurant makeover reality shows. That said, I do this location every 4 years or so and have never had a descent experience.

went in for lunch and ordered hamburgers.. waited for more than 40 min. and never received them at the table , when we had to to back to work. Not everybody has 2 hrs. for lunch. We had to take the burgers to go and never had a chance to eat them at work. Very Very slow service for only having 10-15 guests in restaurant. Since changing owners this restaurant is no longer a north valley spot to go to..

A great alternative to the traditional breakfast stops. If you arrive before 11AM you can enjoy the breakfast bar or you can order breakfast off the menu any time. Their stuffed French toast is delicious but I recommend their cinnamon rolls (yummy). Definitely recommend JB'z to switch up your early morning dinning.

I have always had consistently good food and service at this restaurant. The breakfast bar is the best in the North Valley. I like the great variety of items on the menu.

This family owned JB's restaurant has been around forever. The service is excellent. Staff are friendly and nice. The physical building is showing some signs of wear, but it is pretty clean. Prices are great. Their all you can eat chicken friend steak special includes steak, choice of 2 sides, salad bar and dessert for only $6.99. The nice salad bar alone is only $6.99. You cannot beat the service and prices anywhere. Highly recommended !!!!
