Should be called the "not so fresh"buffet. The service was wonderful but the food left much to be desired. I know it's a buffet and you get what you pay for but we were less than satisfied with the selection. I tried a coconut chicken tender that was like warm and was so dry it was practically jerky. Two stars just for the good service.

Plates supposedly clean , has food stuck on them. Night crew was in a hurry to leave the night before, says a worker that witnessed these plates. I have a lot more pics. U better off at wyoming one. Posted pics of plates every one I picked up

Mother's day. $30 for two people and it was crap! Service was the worst. I can't even give one star. I didn't want to come here but it was a family thing.

Not a very large selection, Golden Corral would have been better for the price. First impressions are everything. This was also the first time I'd ever been here as well. We walked in and the cashier was way too slow. Molasses in winter would have been faster. Then we find a booth. All of the seats were dirty with food crumbs. We had to clean off the seats before we sat down. I then told the manager, who I had to guess if he was a manager because not a damn person had a name tag on. I had to guess because he was wearing a button up shirt. I observed other patrons cleaning off their seats as well. On the way to the food area I almost fell on my butt because I slipped on a half eaten piece of chicken on the floor. All in all, I could go on but you get my point. This was the fist & last time I'll be going to Furr's Fresh Buffet.

Don't waste your money. It's buffet but it's certainly not fresh. The price is the same as Golden Corral but there is a quarter of the variety that Golden Corral has. The food looked like it had been siting there for a long time. The pumpkin pie had a crust on the top and was a different color than the inside of the pie. The kids couldn't even have the pizza. It was dry and the cheese on top had solidified back together even though the pizza had already been cut. You couldn't take a slice without leaving the pizza cheese behind in the solid mass it had crusted into. The workers were so unprofessional and useless. There were workers just standing around talking to each other in the buffet area. They didn't even move or stop talking when customers were getting food from an area close to them. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive.

Gonna be very brief and to the point here. It's not a self serve buffet. The people serving act as if you don't need more than the serving they put on your plate. The food, especially my salad tasted like something bitter was in it. Didn't eat it, but one of the meats I had tasted the same way. Very strange. Didn't care for the way they strained to give you food. Would'nt ever come back.

Monday evening, not busy. Food was horrible. Server walked by several times and didn't clean off used plates. Right before we left, she took plates. "Sorry I let these stack up". Crummy food, no service. Management needs to wake up! I wouldn't count on this one staying in business too much longer. We won't be back, that's for sure! I put one star, but that's stretching it!

I Have been to various Furrs in the past. Stopped on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 for lunch. Upon paying the ticket, it didn't seem to add up. The cashier explained that the prices were higher on weekends. $5 more per adult. I asked her if they had different things on the weekend and she responded "Not really." There are hand sanitizer areas in several locations in the restaurant. I tried them but each one I checked was empty. My husband took our four year old to the bathroom and returned with wet hands. There were no paper towels. The overall all appearance of the restaurant was dirty which I assume was because it was so crowded. I wondered around in the buffet area looking for something appealing. The cucumber salad was labeled as yogurt. There was one sliver of pizza for my son and my husband and I got fried and grilled chicken. Both types were under cooked. We are familiar with Furrs, however this location is the worst one I have ever been to. I would not recommend it.

I had the misfortune of choosing Furrs Fresh Buffet for dinner while traveling by myself on the road. FURR"S BUFFET WAS HANDS DOWN THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY ADULT LIFE. At 7:00 on a Sunday the restaurant was quite dirty. There were a lot of uncleaned tables where kids had thrown a lot of food around. The filth was obvious as at Furr's you have to walk around and select a table after paying so there was a lot of "No, not that one" going on. Once I found a clean table I went to wash my hands. The bathroom had no soap whatsoever and was also filthy with paper towels and water all over the floor. The soap dispenser was empty and on the counter in the bathroom. There were two hand sanitizer stations outside of the bathroom and at the buffet which were also empty. This to me is a major red flag when a buffet restaurant has no way of making sure that hands are clean. I let the Assistant Manager know and he seemed to go to attend to the situation. Th food was really gross overall. As far as "FRESH" offerings go, the only fresh vegetables available were bagged iceberg lettuce, broccoli, and mealy grape tomatoes. There was not a lot of freshness to be had. I ended up squeaking out of meal of a greasy baked chicken leg, a really sad salad and some cottage cheese. I had a small sofet serve cone for dessert. Quite frankly, everything else looked too vile to try.

we had lunch here on a saturday afternoon around 3 pm and i had no say in the decision. it was my first time eating here. the ambient noise was loud. the tables were dirty as well as the floor in the dining area. the inside eye appeal of the buffet was not good. the food was okay. i read previous comments describing the disgust of the quality of food. i don't expect top notch quality at any buffet. so i wasn't expecting a las vegas 5-star buffet experience. so that being said i was very selective in what i chose to put on my plate. the food i did select was okay. i did eat a lot of salad and fruits. would i go back? if it were my personal decision then no. but there were friends and family that like eating at this buffet.

Re-visited Furr's on a Friday around 4pm and did not find what I had found previously on a Thursday afternoon. The rotisserie chicken was dry and from looking at the fried shrimp and fish, they were pretty dry too. The macaroni and cheese looked more like cheese soup. But the new potatoes were delicious and many of the other sides looked good too. I had the creamy chicken noodle soup which was good, yes, but too salty. Also, I would have preferred more of a chicken taste, instead of the strong onion taste. The enchiladas I had before were in a white cream sauce and this time they had a red sauce, but looked a little overdone. The salad bar had fresh items, but the breads looked and felt (with the tongs) a little hard. It was more crowded, which was to be expected on a Friday, and when I left, the parking lot was really beginning to fill up. I will still go back another time, but I will probably choose a weekday instead of the weekend. Furr's is a good value, in my opinion anyway, and the food is ready as soon as you walk in the door.

Out for lunch looking for a place that would over a variety of food. I did not know what I wanted for lunch. It was around 1:30 pm in the afternoon and I was getting tried of the same old "fast food". So I stopped in this place, it states "Fresh Buffet" on the sign. Oh! how that was wrong. Well if you mean hot, then they got it right the food was hot, if you mean not over cooked and not falling apart then you're wrong on the Fresh part. The food had no taste; coconut chicken had no coconut flavor and was very dry. The chicken enchilada was so over cooked that it fell of the spatula, it just fell apart. Have we come to the conclusion that because we get bulk amount of food that if it tastes like shit that it is OK? So we continue to consume more and more of un-healthy foods thinking that I got my monies worth so it must be OK.

If you're looking for self-serve soft serve and no sugar added apple pie, Furr's is your place! If you're looking for mediocre food in mass quantities that has been coughed on by 10 year old children, Furr's is also your place! Honestly, I don't expect much when I go. It's a chain buffet, how high can my expectations really be? The biggest problem I have with this place is the choreography you have to learn. You walk in, pay at the counter, pick up your own silverware from the bucket behind the counter, sit down, place your drink receipt on the table, flip over the "This table is occupied" sign, and then get back up to go get your food. Seriously .....heyyyyy Furr-carena! Aight!

I come here with my family when we can't decide where else we want to go. The variety is very good but unfortunately the qualify of the food varies from poor to decent depending on the date and time you go. After my last experience there, I will not be going back for some time. The food tasted like I was eating leftovers. Nothing was fresh and looked as if it had been sitting for too long. I found a Manager to tell him about my experience but he just sort of looked at me dumbfounded and didn't offer an apology or even that he seemed surprised by my comments.
