My friend wanted to eat here and even admitted that it isn't good, but that he wanted to have it anyways since it was the first place he ate at when he arrived in ABQ. You can be forgiven for eating here if you are new to ABQ and don't know any better, so he doesn't have an excuse for wanting to come here a second time. Layout seems like it was once a Taco Bell, and you might as well eat there instead because the quality is only slightly worse than here, but the prices are lower. This is food that my friend and I can make ourselves-- he is black and I am Asian-- the food is about as Mexican as we are. Beans taste like they come from a can. The shredded cheese that graces our plate is none other than cheddar. His chile rellenos were small and my enchiladas were greasy. Tables and seats are also old and in poor condition. But hey, for however un-Mexican this food is, the menu is actually Mexican and not New Mexican.

We were the only customers in the restaurant. Usually the food here is good and the service fast and friendly. Today, we did receive friendly service.

Rip off and mindless clerks. I kept telling this dumbass at the drive thru the prices where wrong at the menu and over charged me for a carne Asada burrito $7 after tax.. And the lady who didn't understand or speak English real well but pretends not to speak Spanish says "I check already on prices" lmfao! Fuck that place for that price I'll be going to chipotle

It's almost not terrible. Not impressive by any stretch, but if you are stoned at 2 A.M. and looking for something greasy to put into your gut, might I suggest the 2 burrito plate. Other than that, don't eat here unless you have to.

I ate here twice on separate occasions and both times I got food poisoning from this place. So if you're looking for a night in snuggling with your toilet or possibly looking to lose a couple lbs and want the stomach flu...then come here otherwise stay far..far..away!

This Federico's Location might not be the cleanest or have the fastest of service, but all in all, the food is just like the food at the other Federico's locations in ABQ. And this is another, in the long list of locations in this city, where you will be asked for change by no less than two bums/junkies/homeless/whatever you want to call them during your walk from the parking lot to the front door. - I noticed a help wanted sign in the window and pointed it out to one of the panhandlers - he was not impressed, however, he did leave me alone.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
