I'm not here to bad mouth anyone, but this place is disgusting. I love to support local businesses, this was one of the worse meals I paid 13 bucks for. I had a bacon cheeseburger that had no flavor to it, was not juicy or gourmet as the sign outside led me into the place to want to try. It tasted like a school cafeteria burger that had some extra seasoning on it. I had an order of fries that were good, but weren't anything to offset the horrid burger I just finished. I also had a drink that was a large size full of ice, with no room for the soda, as if it were costing them more than 40 cents to fill my cup. And to rinse down the salt from my fries, I had to ask for a refill in which they tried to stuff more ice into my cup. And there was a bunch of "Christian art" that looked like it was bought at hobby lobby and for sale at some ridiculous price. If you want to be a Christian business, quit preying on your customers.

I'm pretty sure all the former reviews were written by owners/workers/family/friends. Sorry, NOT the truth. This restaurant is clearly owned/run by people with no restaurant experience. I don't expect it will be here long. 1) The dine-in area is overcrowded with tables (and completely empty the majority of the time I was there). 2) There is no decor of any sort, featureless, dull. 3) The burger I ordered was bland -- tasteless even, slapped together without any thought for presentation, and SMALL. 4) And, Oh! EXPENSIVE!! A small burger and a medium drink set me back nearly $10!!!! You want to spend that kind of money, go to Five Guys. I personally prefer Cheddar's where a wonderful, LARGE burger costs $6! Even Carl's Jr. is better. SKIP.

We anticipated the Grand Opening for quite some time, boy were we disappointed and out $30 for way less then "gourmet" burgers, Pre-made patties, no flavor (even with green chile & cheese) greasy top bun. We made the mistake of ordering the potato skins that were served with really hot fake liquid cheese and imitation bacon bits but no sour cream. I did however, enjoy the Christian music they were playing. Wish I had something more positive to say.

Their burgers are just awesome, so juicy and flavorful. I have tried the old timer and the Hawaiian and bother were outstanding! Fries cooked to perfection, crispy and tasty. Tried the Taco style gourmet potato and found it to be a bit dry (could have used sour cream or guacamole). Would give 5 stars if only they would add home made onion rings! Keep up the awesome job!

I had a hankering for a thick, juicy burger and decided to give this relatively new local place a try. The 1/3 lb burger with a ton of topping options sounded great, as did the potato skins with real bacon. I was a bit disappointed I couldn't get a side salad - the only salad on the menu was an entree chefs salad. Service was quick and friendly but the food was a disappointment - the well-done burger (I asked for medium) was flat as a pancake. The green chile was tasty. And the skins had real bacon alright, floating atop a sea of what looked and tasted like Cheez Whiz. I want to see this place succeed, so these are my suggestions: buy freshly ground top quality beef and form them into thick juicy burgers you grill; have side salads on your menu - this will enable you to attract the paelo crowd which won't eat a burger on a bun and those who like to balance out the beef with some greens; and please, PLEASE use REAL cheese on your otherwise tasty skins. With so many other great burger joints in town, Christee's must step up.

We've been here several times and will continue to be back. Food is excellent, always freshly made and super friendly service. The potato skins are definitely one of our favorites! Very child and family friendly as well.

I'm curious about the 'bad reviews' claiming horror on the patties and 'Christian art' ...were these one time visits by bitter patrons? The art is for sale and I personally think that's wonderful to offer. A local business helping local artists. My daughter and I had the plain burger and it was juicy, delicious and not at all bad?! The Frito pie was very fresh and delicious as well. I'm also very curious if this highly unfair judgmental individual even voiced their concerns, to be absolutely fair, that's exactly what should have been done. As I sit here enjoying the ambiance and good food as well as my daughter's company I see the owner asking if everything is well made and yummy. That tells me they care a lot about how they run their business and running a restaurant is difficult enough without folks 'preying' on irrelevant matters such as how they choose to decorate with local art and pay it forward! Not a fair way to review at all,

Oh boy...where do I begin? An utter failure in terms of burgers. A reviewer called it "one of the best burgers in town". This may have been the worst I've ever had in my entire life. I'm not sure if it was even a beef pattie. It was an odd colored, prepackaged quinoa type thing that had no flavor besides the salt & pepper they sprinkled on it. The bacon was paper thin and very salty. The bun was puny. As soon as I picked it up, I knew it was gonna be an epic fail. The whole thing weighed maybe 4 ounces. I opted for the "spud" baked potato with cheese and brisket. This was the best part of my meal....and it was not good either. I think they got the brisket from JR'S next door, which in my opinion, is the worst brisket in town. The final insult was the bill. $18! As I sat and choked down my meal with a smile on my face, I spoke with the owner's son the whole time. A very nice, friendly kid just trying to support his mom's business. It was a delight talking with this wholesome lad. I wish them the very best, but I don't think they'll make it a year. 2 stars. Should be one but I liked the kid.

You can't call it a gourmet burger if you microwave the pre made patty. We had the tortilla burger and it tasted like a nuked frozen BOCA burger. Very disappointed!!!! I will never go to this place again unless they start using real flavored ground beef. Then they can call it gourmet. Wow!!

The brisket and cheese potato I tried on my first visit to this new dining spot was FABULOUS! I enjoyed a Hawaiian Burger and fries on my second visit. The buttery bun was toasted to perfection, and the juicy burger was topped with a fun sweet & sour sauce and two pineapple rings. The fries were thick and delicious. Welcome to Juan Tabo, Christee's!
