Bob's Burgers - Home of the Ranchero Burger! My god, their chile is hot! This is a fast food joint, with a most Albuquerquean twist, nuclear green chile. So hot your lips will be burning for hours. If you don't know New Mexican food, I dare you to eat here. If you love New Mexican food, Bob's is a must. I don't live in Albuquerque anymore, but not a week goes by that I don't get hit with a creaving for the food.

Oh, Bob's... How I love thee. So, about Bob's. They're not high end, they are absolutely not fancy, and sometimes they aren't even all that nice. Why do we love this place? I'll tell ya. The taco burgers are so good. This is fast food, but not. The chile here (red or green) is fire, and they aren't chintzy with it. If you're not a fan of fire, order yours on the side. Tortilla burgers are also delish, along with chile cheese fries. You can indeed get things without chile, so don't let that hot stuff doecourage you. To put the fire out, you can get a shake, malt, or float- any of them will be tasty. This is a local chain, and it's awesome. They have specials most weeknights, and something for everyone.

I'm not a New Mexican so Bobs is new to me. From what I'm told this is the original location. The food shows for what the food is that this one surpasses the others. I guess bobs is one of those guilty pleasure places. I literally only eat here on Taco Tuesday and like 3-4 times a year. Taco burgers are decent and the chilies here are hit or miss on hotness. Sometimes they are nice hot and tasty other times it's like pouring molten lava in your mouth. If you need some Bobs in your life this is the location to go to.

What can I say about Bob's Burgers other than the fact that they are the one reason I'm currently wearing my sweatpants and not my tight jeans. Their green chile is so good that I've literally had two dreams about it people. Bobs definitely does green chile right! It may be a bit too spicy for some but certainly not us. Tho know their chilie does have some heat to it - and that's coming from a pallet that can handle heat. Order anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed! But, if you ever are - face it - your mouth may finally be broken. :0( EAT AT BOBS!

If you're not a fan of spicy food, avoid this place at all costs! A great local spot. Bob's has some of the best chile in town. Best Bob's location in Albuquerque! This one and the one on old coors/central. Avoid the one on Menaul/San Mateo, they skimp on the chile! This location might be a little ghetto for some people, but it is definitely the best. There is no inside at this location, you place your order at a walk-up window and eat outside/in your car/to go. Everything I've had here has been amazing. They have daily specials, most notably taco burger tuesday. Call ahead on Taco Tuesday or be prepared to wait FOREVER. The wait can be up to 45 min-1 hour on Tuesday. The chile dogs here are great, doused in so much red chile that it seeps through the wrapper and is a mess to eat, but so worth it. The taquitos are great, I like getting them christmas style (red and green chile.) Amazing frito pie here too, with the same chile that goes on the hot dogs. The burgers here are fantastic as well, they have taco burgers, tortilla burgers, and their signature ranchero burger doused in green chile. And you can't beat the chile cheese fries here! I love bob's, I eat here all the time.

Bob's is friggin' awesome. It's a local institution, like an upgraded version of Blake's and/or Papaburgers. You want to try some real, local New Mexico burgers? This is the place. Try the Ranchero burger, you won't be disappointed. Green chile is a mondo New Mexico thing, and the chile here is very, very tasty. What's even better, is that they'll get that burger out to you quickly.

This chili is hot enough it could be used to unmake Sauron's ring of power. Surely the chili too, was forged in the pits of Mount Doom. If you're someone who loves to conquer your meal and not just eat it, the way my viking husband and I do, then this is the place for you.

The one star I gave was generous. There are no recent reviews. We were at the gas station next door abd asked if they could recommend a good eating spot, they recommended several places in either direction of them but never recommended Bob's,I guess I should've kept driving.

Love this place!! The Ranchero Burger with green chile cheese fries are the best!! All of the locations offer fast service at an amazing price, and amazing food. What more is there to ask for? Highly recommend if your a tourist seeking traditional green chile cheese burger or chile cheese fries, and if you're a local, you should already know about Bobs! They also have red chile, but I am loyal to green :)

My hometown is Albuquerque, New Mexico, so anyone who knows what it is like to somewhat "live" in two different places KNOWS that you have cravings for food from each place. Bob's is SO good that EVERY time I visit New Mexico, I MUST have it. There really is nothing like that I have eaten that can compare. Let me start out by saying their chile is what sets them apart. The flavor they have perfected is out of this world for me. Both the red and the green are absolutely delish. It's sort of a chile con queso consistency, cheesy and gooey. It's VERY spicy, so be warned, not for the WEAK stomached or MOUTHED. I love SO many things off their menu, but have made the taco burgers my top pick. The taco burger is a taco shell with a patty instead of ground beef, it is in patty form, smothered with their chile and shredded lettuce. My usual order is taco burgers with green chile and an order of red chile cheese fries which I share with my sister. I have ordered the chile dogs from time to time and they are ALSO amazing. The red chile is my favorite and I pack them with cheese and onions. I do not hold back when I eat here, it's THAT good. My dad ALWAYS, without failure orders a ranchero burger. This is a typical hamburger, with cheese and green chile. It seems to take the cake for him. I've also tried their taquitos, but usually stick to the taco burgers. Bob's continues to impress me and is one of the best fast food places I've ever had. You MUST try!

I really do love this place! I love their taquitos, their chile cheese fries with red or green and their tortilla burger! I usually order a combo E, which comes with your choice of medium fries or chile cheese fries, two tortilla burgers and a medium drink. I usually ask for a easy on the chile because it is HOT, even for me. Even then I have to scoop some chile out of the tortilla burger, which is, you guessed it, a burger patty smothered in their green chile sauce, cheese and lettuce. And as always, you have a choice between red or green. I've never really favored either and I switch them off because both are delicious. Only one location has drive-thru that I know of, which is on fourth street just south of Montano, all others are order and wait on yourself type deals, which I don't mind. Leave me alone to expierence the burning hot chile that makes my nose run and eyes tear, it's not torture, trust me! It's HEAVEN.
