High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. High Cholesterol at Applebee's

Food was okay, nothing special. The real reason for a 1-star is due to bad service. My gf came in on a Tuesday night before closing to pick up an order and was accosted by 2 white drunk males right in front of the waitress (manager?) that was taking her order all while INSIDE the restaurant. The waitress did nothing in response, even though there was a security guard on-site. For this reason, this establishment gets a 1 (I would even go as far as -5) because the customers shouldn't feel uncomfortable or disrespected and such harassment shouldn't go ignored. INSIDE the establishment tl;dr: Girlfriend was accosted and management did nothing despite witnessing it with a security guard on duty. Don't come here if you're a female.

Waiter was awesome, gave personal attention. However, the food was awful. Meat was dry and certainly did not look like the photo or taste as good as it should have tasted. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

Well...it's a huge chain restaurant. We've all been to Applebee's and know their culinary abilities. I'm convinced that they prepare nothing at these places. They just heat it up. My burger was borderline disgusting. It was the Blackened Blue one. The blue cheese was pungent...and not in a good way. I'm not sure if they wash the dishes either. My plate had greasy smudges all over it. It just looked dirty. But I ate it anyways. Why? Because I'm a trooper. However, the pretzel stick cheese dip appetizer things were freaking awesome! They get 2 stars for that. Unfortunately, I'll probably be back because my kids love this place haha! Kids win.

Rude Rude service. Waitess was by far the worst. Had snotty attitude just terrible serivce. Not that the other girls were great either. We even tried to get the attention of one of the other waitresses 2x and she ignored us both times. Will not return again this was just all around bad service. For the prices the food is just mediocre.

This location seems to be getting worse and worse. The whole restaurant just seems and smells dirty and greasy. The tables are always sticky, as is the floor. The bathrooms are disgusting and the women's bathroom smells like backed up sewage going on a few years now. The employees used to be friendly - now they seem like they could not care any less. And the food. The food is mediocre at best - ridiculously overpriced. I will say the sriracha shrimp appetizer is good - in the generic 5 gallon bucket sauce way. They could use a new, experienced manager.

Was not happy. Went with 2 others and got drinks and appetizers. Drinks were really weak, even after complaining. Left cash on tableand while in parking lot chatting, waitress comes and accuses us of not paying full bill, and than got told cameras didnt work. Just overall bad experience.

On par with most chain restaurants, our meal was only marginal. I got the lemon Parmesan shrimp, which was under seasoned and the shrimp were medium- small. Hubby got fish and chips, which was crunchy, but very greasy. Service was great however and we observed a lot of people who knew each other . Seemed like a neighborhood place and everyone was friendly. Best bet is appetizers and drinks during happy hour.

It's better than it used to be. I went to Applebee's for the first time in about a year. The food was a bit better. The reverse happy hour is nice. But I still like Chili's better if I'm going to going to choose between the two.

Not bad . Not great. Good to go to if you're sick of Mexican food here. My fries were old so they lose a star. Staff was a little weird I think .

Oh Applebee's, I secretly enjoy thee. Not necessarily for your food, but I can't complain for the most part. I can count on you to be there for me in a pinch or when I need something stable, practical, predictable while I am on the road. Unpretentious, you accept everyone equally. You were also one of my go to spots when I lived in ol' ABQ (well not just this one). We were craving something sweet and maybe a drink. It was about 11pm and we knew we could count on good ol' Bee's. We walked over and ordered up a maple blondie brownie to share and of course we all had to order the Perfect Margarita. Yes, y'all I am a sucker for their Perfect Margarita. The original, although you can get it in other flavors. The bartender and our our waitress were friendly.

Easy walk from our hotel. Good table, good service, adequate food. Liked how the hostess actually met me at the door, and since the rest of my party of way behind me, she thought I was by myself and was trying to accommodate the little ol' lady. I appreciated her thoughtfulness, so if you're alone, Applebees will take care of you. Not much for vegan diners, but noodle dish can be altered to accommodate. Friendly children's menu.

I've been eating at the restaurant for the last year. Most of the time I order take out. They used to come bring the food to your car when you pull up, but now, you have to go in and find a waiter who can usually go find someone to help you. They should really change the name from "Curb Side". I've seen people waiting for 20 minutes or more in the parking lot for food that's not gonna come... I ate there on Monday and became sick to my stomach immediately afterwards. They usually have good food. I've never had this problem with them before, but I won't be going back.... ever. The thought of another hamburger from them makes me feel nauseous.

Half price appetizers after 9pm which makes some things a steal like wings and nachos for about 4 bucks. Plus there's the full bar and large menu of other offerings. I like to come in for those half priced appetizers and perfect margaritas. Applebee's went through a updating about a year or two ago where out went all the tiffany style chandlers and dark woods and in with the bright paints and modern lighting. The also took down the large overhead in the bar area which totally opened the space up. Applebee's is always the late night reliable place for me.

I was traveling through Albuquerque and staying at the adjacent Holiday Inn Express. Since this place not well located, it was the only place I could eat without driving somewhere. Well, I am traveling alone so as I walked in the line was about 25 people thick. After asking to sit at the bar, they said "help yourself". So I sat at the end of the bar nearest the kitchen entrance and next to an ordering monitor for the wait staff. I noticed the place was getting packed and the multiple TVs were displaying a basketball game. I ordered the Oriental Salad and a coke. Then suddenly all the TVs changed to the UFC. Yep, Ultimate Fighting Championships. There must be 30 TVs in this place and every single one was on this sport (?) where two guys bludgeon each other to smithereens. Noticing the manager next to me at the kiosk, I asked him "do you think this programming is appropriate for all the young children with their families here"? His reply: "We make money with the UFC and if I can get more money then yeah" Are you freakin' kidding me???? Does corporate office know that they are entertaining children with a Pay-Per-View brutal gauntlet intended for mature audiences? I bet they don't. I told the manager "this is a family restaurant, not a sports bar". He didn't seem to care. But then he seemed to relish in this "sport" so perhaps he is being selfish at the expense of kids that may find this stuff frightening. I know...it should be the parents to make this decision. But the channel was changed in the middle of their meals. They have a captive audience. If I were with my daughter, I'd leave immediately without paying. I don't let my daughter watch Sponge Bob because of the adult humor. Oh...and the salad wasn't good enough to write about. The bar service was great. Next time I'll drive to Taco Bell.

My new fav place to watch my games! I usto go to Buffalo Wild Wings but here the food is better, better service and the tvs are labeled as what game will be where so it takes the guess work and crap shoot out of sitting. Second week in a row.. I found my new place to watch my games!

Normally this place is a great neighborhood favorite of ours. The service has never disappointed and the food has always been decent... until today, and unfortunately for them, I a brand new Yelper. Why not 5 stars? Tonight they over cooked the portabellos on my friend's chicken dish so they weren't edible. They delivered all my table mates meals a good 5 minutes before mine. And two people in my party said it seemed like this was the stuff left over from the weekend (we went in a Monday). Normally, this place is good. Never packed, good service from the wait staff and with the exception of today's visit, quality food.

Out of all the Applebee's in Albuquerque, this one is my favorite. The service is always dependable, and the food comes out promptly. I always request Matthew because his service is great and he gets to know his customers.

I almost never go to chains but on this leg of our cross country journey we were just plain tired and gave in to the pull of the corporate blah. Food was subpar, service was AWFUL. Everything was an excuse and several times we got "that's just how it's done here"... And we never even questioned the retardation that we were being subjected to.

Food was good tasting, service was good and friendly. This place is a hangout for the younger crowds, sport fans and high school students at night. Stays open until 12am to 1am.

Can't say enough good stuff about this place. It's number one on where to go for a beer when you don't want the "bar scene". Must go when Nate is bartending. He's great at suggesting a new drink! Happy hour 11am-6pm or after 9pm. $3.00 Brewtus!

This restaurant is one step above frozen food. Nothing tastes fresh. The meats are most definitely frozen, the salads a little wilted. We felt rushed as well. A chain restaurant is just that and geared to make a buck. We miss the family owned restaurants that take pride is their food. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

I try not to do chain restaurants but sometimes timing is ! (King) it's been a while that I have been in a Applebee's and it has changed for the good. Just that eating right cost so much. 12.00 for salads on the diet menu?? And 5.99 burgers well I guess it is the trend. I had a chicken grilled on the two for 20. Not bad and service well it has also gotten better. Not. A bad experience today but not five .. 4 stars for a better salad prices.. It's food but not bragging rights food.
