I've only stopped into Orlando's for ice cream, so can't speak to their meal offerings, but this seems like a very solid place and one which is quite popular with the locals. They serve both hard and soft ice cream (as well as standard American / diner fare) and have indoor and seasonal outdoor seating areas. I discovered the place back in July and have made a habit of stopping in for a soft serve cone and enjoying it outside whenever I find myself in the area. Weather permitting, I would highly recommend doing the same as the area is quite scenic and has a relaxing vibe. As far as their ice cream, it's worth noting that Orlando's soft serve is "frozen custard" style, meaning that it is a bit lighter and creamier than the typical soft serve cone. This is a plus in my book, but figured it's worth mentioning since not everyone shares my preferences :) Staff is very friendly, attentive, and courteous and serves customers efficiently. They prefer cash, but will accept credit cards without surcharge. All in all, a great local business and the one which I think serves the best soft serve cone in the area. Even better than the more famous Cream King down the road, though you really can't go wrong with either! Maybe one day I'll try their dining options as well, and will update accordingly whenever that happens.

good food. wonderful waitresses. coffee. what more could you want in a diner in the middle of nowhere? not much. i went with the daily specials (cup of split pea soup and hamburger steak, plus apple strudel for dessert). if you're hungry, you won't be disappointed!
