Super Pollo II is one of the if not THE best kept secret in Brick! I live very close and, because it is a smaller place did not visit until about after 3 months in my apartment. Now I go there at least twice a week! The food is wonderful and the staff is very welcoming and efficient! Some of my favorite items on the menu are the chicken salad in 1/2 an avocado, the fried sweet plantains, the tamales and of course the rotisserie chicken. I love their green hot sauce, I literally put it on everything it is so good! If you have not yet tried this place make sure you do, it is absolutely one of the best restaurants I have ever been to and by far the best in Brick!

Pescado a La Chorrillana is what I usually get. Very tasty. The green sauce is good. It's a small place. It's a great alternative that having to drive North to Elizabeth. Usually their english is limited. But honestly, now that I think about it. The service there was noe different than Caravana.

Hands down this is THE BEST rotisserie chicken ever. The House Special rice is great and the empenadas are good. However, the absolute reason everyone should check this out is the rotisserie chicken...i get it at least once a month. Oh and get their green hot sauce. its awesome

If I could give this place 1/2 a star I would. Super Pollo was super disappointing. I live in Northern NJ, where my favorite Peruvian eateries are located. Caravana in Harrison, Don Julios in Elizabeth and Yolis in Kearny just to name a few. My parents live in Point Pleasant, and my mom wanted to have some Peruvian food. After reading reviews for Super Pollo I decided to give it a shot. I cannot express my disappointment . What should have been a wonderful lunch with my mother turned quickly into a nightmare. I will give you exact details below. We got there at about 12:45pm on a Sunday. There were two young men behind the counter, and maybe 5 patrons eating. There was a soccer game playing on the TV of the dimly lit restaurant. No hostess , so we choose our seating . After being seated our waiter (an early 20's Hispanic man) came to our table and asked us what we wanted to drink. We said Chicha in Spanish, he seemed like he did not understand at first but then I reminded him by saying it slowly (CHICHA). I was unsure if i wanted a glass so we asked for 1 glass for my mom first, the waiter walked away and said a jar right? We said no, just 1 glass. My mother said the Chicha was good and we proceeded to discuss the menu. I asked the waiter for another glass of Chicha for myself and then for some kernels of corn . (Typical Peruvian restaurant snack) In all restaurants I have gone to in the past the corn comes when you are greeted accompanied by the famed aji sauce (green spicy sauce). None of that happened here so I had to ask the waiter for the aji. This aji finally came to our table 8 minutes later when most of the corn was gone. My mother asked for the special of the day which was the Escabeche de Pescado, she asked the waiter if the fish was friend and he said yes. Her review of the dish was that the fish was not crispy enough , onions undercooked but the flavors for the most part were there. That is the highlight of the day. I asked the waiter what his preference was between the Bistec a lo Pobre and the Arroz con Mariscos, he said depends what your in the mood for (Not the best of advice) I went with the Arroz con Mariscos (Seafood and Rice) The rice itself was truly not bad, it had some mini calamari and mini scallops in it. Also it had 3 individual mussels and 3 pieces of shrimp .All in all for $14 this dish had minimal seafood and mostly rice. Luckily we decided to try a half rotisserie chicken since we heard that is what they were known for. This came with Yuca fries, 5-6 pieces on the plate. The chicken looked and smelled great, but after the first taste my hear sank. The skin although crispy was seasoned with too much salt and the chicken itself had not been properly washed. It had a bad taste. I was not impressed with the aji itself , not creamy enough for my liking. I asked for some rocoto (Peruvian hot pepper) to use on my food thinking it would help mask the flavors, the waiter brought me out literally a small container with one teaspoon of hot sauce in it. I was too annoyed already to order more . The time it took this waiter to get us our food was too long , specially since there was only 1-2 more tables at the time. I constantly caught our waiter looking at the game on TV and not paying enough attention to his customers. Our waiter was also not very nice and did not smile once. I know this is a lot of complaints but I'm only pointing these things out because I have in the past worked as a waiter in various restaurants and know how to treat customers. I know what customers expect when they go out to spend their hard earned money. I do not expect to be treated like a king, but I do want to be appreciated as a customer. Myself and my mother were both born in Peru and know what authentic Peruvian cuisine should taste like. This place does not do our culture or food justice. If you truly want out of this world Pollo a la Brasa go to la Caravana in Harrison, NJ or any other chicken place in Patterson, NJ. If you want out of this world authentic Peruvian dishes and seafood go to Don Julios in Elizabeth, NJ. If you want the best ceviche in Jersey go to Yolis in Kearny on a Friday (freshest ceviche by far, believe they receive their fish delivery Friday morning). Save time and money don't eat at Super Pollo 2. Feel free to contact me if you want other good Peruvian restaurants in New Jersey. Key Points: Food is not authentic tasting & over/under seasoned. Service is some of the worst I've had in recent memory. Ambiance is non-existent with little light (the painted wall is beautiful though). Price is too high for the portion size.

Bottom Line: This is a can't miss for Peruvian comfort food. I ordered the rotisserie roasted chicken and soup. An oasis in a sea of crappy chain drivel. Go there now. Thank you, Yelpers for helping me discover it. Don't expect atmosphere, just outstanding food. Here's the long version: I was traveling on business and starving. I don't do Chili's, Friday's, or the other conglomerate restaurant chains unless I have no other options. So, for me "If I can help it, I Yelp it" . Yelped "rotisserie chicken" and up comes Super Pollo II. God did a hell of a job when he invented this thing called fire, but when the Peruvians decided to throw a seasoned chicken on top, well then...heaven. Walked in around 7:30, place was almost empty (don't know why). Told the friendly gentleman behind the counter that I would like some chicken...and he said the words that I love to hear. "Oh, the chicken won't be ready for around ten minutes". The man was freshly roasting chickens. Done deal. I indicated that I would wait, and I'm really glad I did. He offered up some chicken soup while I was waiting. Holy crap! Calling this Chicken Soup is doing it such a disservice. What came to the table was a huge, amazing bowl of steaming hot homestyle chicken soup. Cilantro, lime, pulsed rice, vegetables, and a treasure of a chicken thigh at the bottom of the bowl. He advised me to squeeze a bit of lime on the top. I'm a soup guy and I would travel for this guy's soup. Can't say that for a lot of soup I've eaten. I told him I was trying to eat healthy, so skipped the fries, chips, rice and beans, and opted for a salad. Chicken was served on top of a bed of Iceberg (only drag of the whole experience), but the lime vinaigrette was fantastic, and really balanced the bit of spice coming off the chicken (don't forget to hit the chicken with the green sauce). Go there now. Can't miss. Can't wait to go back. Nuff said. (Truth be told, I did go back last Tuesday. Was so pissed. They are apparently closed on Tuesdays. Tuesdays....really?)

This is my favorite Spanish chicken place! Our favorite apps are the corn and the chicken salad in avocado. Everything on the menu is good. We try to order something different every time we go there and so far we haven't been disappointed!

We first became aware of this restaurant while eating at the Mexican restaurant (since closed) one door away -- a member of the kitchen staff brought in his own evening meal in a Super Pollo takeout bag. What better review could there be? The signs outside make it look like only a chicken place, but it's actually a BYOB casual restaurant with a respectable menu of beef, chicken and seafood dishes as well as Peruvian specialties. In our two visits, we found the food to be excellent, and the prices reasonable. The empanadas are great! The wait staff is friendly but their English is limited, leading to some confusion, repetition and rephrasing. But everything worked out well and we'll be going back.

I've only had the whole rotisserie chicken, but it's the best I've ever had. Going to eat here often in the future.

Heard great things about this place.. Only had the fried rice so far but it was delicious and they give you a ridiculous heaping amount. Lasted for 3 meals!! Will definitely be returning and trying more.

The food was excellent from here. They give you so much too! Didn't even know we had a place like this in brick but now that I do I will definitely come here again.

Who knew Brick had ethnic food places? Came here after reading reviews from another foodie site. Easy to find in the Outback plaza. Heres what I ordered: -arroz amarillo: yellow rice with mixed vegetables- literally yellow rice not seasoned and bits & pieces of carrot & green bean, ya know the kind that comes frozen in a bag. it was just...rice. -1/2 rotisserie chicken & plantains: very tasty & well seasoned, even meat. id definately order it again. -ceviche mixto: fish & mixed seafood, shrimp, calamari, onions. tasty, ive had better. felt like it was missing something. -beef empanada: served with lime wedge. unimpressed. ground beef & dough. didnt have much flavor. bleh spit it out. -flan: thought it was average, im used to filipino flan thats more custardy & smooth texture. Overall, if i was in the area id come here again for the chicken or try another dish like bistec...

Muy delicioso. This place got me into peruvian food. I like the half chicken and lomo saltado. You know its a good place when all the other diners are peruvian. It is an unassuming take out place with good food.

  • R D.

im not sure what these people ate, but it was not what we had. our food was a little dry but maybe it was just a bad night. ill try it for lunch again less the kids.

Excellent. I am in NYC five days a week and the ambience and food is incredibly good. And not 60 miles from the City. Great quality and portions. I had the chicken and my son had steak. Both excellent. Service from the young man was perfectly timed. No waits and worth the wait on your order. Not seen easily from riad. But keep on the lookout. You will be angry if miss it. EXCELLENT!!!!!

  • Mickey M.

We came in here entirely based on high Yelp reviews to find them very well-deserved. It's a tiny place in a strip mall, and I almost detoured to the Outback across the parking lot, based on exterior looks alone. My wife and I shared a Lomo Saltado plus a Bistec a lo Pobre. Both were fantastic, and highly recommended. Next time (and there will be a next time), we'll try the signature rotisserie chicken. Oh, and the lemonade was great. Couple of minor ticks, not enough to subtract a star: 1) no AC, though not uncomfortably warm, and 2) service was a mite slow on account of being very busy. Worth the wait.

  • Liz G.

We tried Super Pollo earlier this Summer based on the Yelp reviews. It was my first time eating Empanadas and Peruvian food. We loved it so much we've been back a few times. We usually get 1/2 chicken plus a side for dinner. I try a different side each time. They've all been outstanding. Tonight my husband got a Tamale as an appetizer. Delicious! And of course Empanadas. I seriously could eat them every day! Plus you can't beat their prices. The service is great, and slow paced so you can relax and enjoy your meal. No matter how busy they are, they check on you but never rush you.

    (5)
  • Monique M.

We came for lunch. Everything is freshly made on premises! The chicken moist and tasty. The seafood soup is heavenly! The empanadas are so darn good and not greasy The price is very inexpensive and clean! Service a little slow but very friendly. Worth checking out! You won't leave hungry!

As I'm writing this, I'm still waiting for the waiter to take our order and it's been about an hour so far. He took our menu and brought a dish that wasn't ours. Seems like he forgot about us. We called and put an order to go. =)

My parents have lived in Brick for 28 years but we had never tried Super Pollo II. I am glad we finally checked this place out. You could tell that many of the patrons were regulars. Tip- this place is BYOB, and there is a liquor store a short walk away. We had the rotisserie chicken, fries, rice, beans and plantains. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

  • Evan V.

Always drove by this place and said "who the hell eats there?" Finally saw the reviews and gave it a try and wasn't disappointed, It's like your very own Peruvian mother was in the kitchen cooking for you, everything fresh and tasty, and very reasonably priced. Been a repeat costumer many times and expect to continue.

  • Suzanne T.

Went here based on Yelp reviews. Everything I read was true. It is a tiny place. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the service and food are outstanding. Beef empanada was seasoned perfectly and was not greasy. Also shared rotisserie chicken and an order of Peruvian chicken fried rice. The rotisserie chicken was moist and flavorful. I would take this over any other rotisserie chicken. It was that good. The fried rice was also excellent and contained a lot of chicken. Sort of like Chinese fried rice but different flavors and way better. Will definitely be returning here!

    (4)
  • Kelli D.

You can eat super cheap here if you get half of their rotissiere chicken. Their empanadas are slammin' and the Peruvian style chicken fried rice is the stuff of dreams. Calling ahead for takeout is your best bet. The couple of times I've been there for dinner the place seemed empty but it goes from 0 to slammed in five seconds flat.

  • Juan M.

Not impressed. My mom had the "Chaufa de Pollo" (chicken fried rice). A huge amount, enough for two. She said it had good taste. I had "Bistec a la Parrila" (grilled steak) w/o rice only salad. The steak was a bit hard. At the bottom of my plate, under the salad, there was a bunch of watery something. It tasted like it had lemon or vinegar. I should have known. When I asked for it, the person taking the order said, "griilleed", like, "are you crazy?" Anyway, I wanted it,? I ate it. The prices are great. There was more than enough food. Just two of us and four could have eaten. If you like to stuff your self with food not caring about carbs, this is the place for you. If you like to enjoy and savor your food, not so much. This my humble opinion. Go try it yourself.

    (3)
  • Jo H.

Rice had veggies that were frozen or canned on top. The chicken was very dry! I gave to my dogs. I really thought it would be more ward on the reviews. Service was not friendly.

    (1)
  • Chris B.

Located in strip mall, this place is absolutely amazing. BYOB and first class service. Seems like a family owned and operated restaurant that makes the food fresh every serving. Sometimes takes a while, but it is absolutely delicious and worth the wait. We will be back!

    (5)
  • Florence M.

Good spot! I love the way they make their white rice. Tastes like they infuse it with garlic and lime. Super good! The service was very good. We tried their fried pork, chicken, steak, and yucca. I enjoyed it all. We also tried their roasted half chicken. Although we liked everything, we thought the food could be improved if they scaled back a bit on their salt. For our taste, the fried pork and roasted chicken was more salty than we would like. Overall, still a nice place.

  • Frank F.

Let me start by saying that I am a bit of a Peruvian Food Snob... I ordered the LOMO SALTADO, probably the most famous dish in Peruvian Food (its like a steak fajita with french fries in it). The flavors were DEAD ON!!! My grievance is with the quality of steak that they used. It wasn't high quality because it was a "Tough Chew"... That aside, The dish was VERY GOOD. When you go to a place named POLLO anything... You should ORDER THE CHICKEN. That was MY MISTAKE. I will be back to this place when I'm in the area. Their FLAVORS are LEGIT!!!

    (3)
  • Frank L.

Excellent food. The best chicken you'll get anywhere. The empanadas and everything else I've tried have been the best. Pricing is very reasonable and the service is always friendly. It's a great place to sit and eat or being home the enjoy. You won't regret trying!

    (5)
  • Jessica H.

Hidden gem!! I've never had chicken that tasted this good in my life. We also ordered the empanadas which were good. I had a side of boiled potatoes that were ok. A Peruvian friend of ours said this was the closest you will find to authentic Peruvian cuisine. Also the servers were genuinely polite. We will definitely be back!

    (5)
  • Chris E.

Grabbed some empanadas the other night they were fantastic- can't wait to go back and pick up dinner!

    (5)
  • Tony G.

The Bistec A Lo Pobre is amazing!! I've never had a bad meal or bad service here. Always the BEST food and real cordial wait staff. Found this gem using Yelp! & even though I live in Atlanta, I'm virtually a regular here!! If you find yourself anywhere near Brick NJ - check out Super Pollo II - no I wasn't paid to write this either!!!

  • Jin C.

What an amazing deal for $7.50! I came here for a quick lunch stopover en route from Cape May to NYC, and the raving Yelp reviews for this place were proven right. $7.50 buys you a big platter with half a roasted chicken and approximately two cups of fluffy Spanish yellow rice. It served me two meals and would do the same for you. I also would recommend getting the deep fried potato stuffed with minced beef. The beef is crazy salty (as is the green spicy sauce that was on every table) but you'll get by given how delicious and fluffy the potato is.

  • paul g.

This place is killer. It shall be said again that the roto chicken is out of this world. You can't beat the chicken empanadas either. When I move from scenic Brick,NJ and return home. This is where I will eat first.

  • Stephanie W.

Not fancy but excellent food. My standard order is limonada (limeade), chauf camarones (shrimp fried rice) with their OUTSTANDING green salsa, and yummy flan. I highly recommend it. Even better the next day.

  • Amanda M.

I never had Peruvian food before coming here and now I am addicted! The green sauce is awesome. The alfajores are great for dessert, round cookies with dulce de Leche between them. Order a pitcher of the chicha to drink, it's a Peruvian purple corn drink that has a great flavor you won't find anywhere else. The rotisserie chicken is always good each time I get it. The plantain sides are good too. Avocado salad is awesome and fresh every time. The service is super attentive when we have dined in, and take out never takes too long no matter how packed they are during dinner.

  • Brett G.

Can't stop coming here. Best rotisserie chicken ever! Food incredibly fresh and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Love the food and people hear. Very friendly staff.they make you feel at home. The best place for chicken in the brick area.

  • Jordan H.

In a word. ....Delicious! We had empanadas that were full of meat and not at all greasy followed by a pork tamale that I can honestly say was the best I ever had. For dinner we had rotisserie chicken and a seafood entree that were both amazingly tasty and wonderfully seasoned. We got a side order of beans that were just so creamy and delightful! For dessert we shared the fried pumpkin/sweet potato beignets with home made syrup which were just awesome. Can't wait to go back.

  • Autumn A.

My husband and I thought we'd try this place since it got great ratings and good Spanish food is hard to find down the shore (we're from Hudson County). We'll definitely come back with the kids. The chicken was great and fresh. The rice was superb. The beans were okay. The desert was delicious! Great find! Unique South American experience in Brick! Good prices too.

  • Lara O.

What a great gem this place is! The name does it justice. Such an authentic feel to the entire restaurant from service to food. My friend and I ordered the empanada to start: 1 beef, 1 chicken and only $2 a piece! You can't beat it. Great flavor and not greasy or heavy at all. After that we went for a chicken tamale, the #2 appetizer with pork, sweet potato 'chips', and marinated onions in lime juice and cilantro, plus an avocado salad on the side. Great choices that really showed what the place was about. The waitstaff was welcoming and helpful, talkative and attentive. Great food at an amazing price... I can't wait to go back here for more empanadas and their desserts.

Awesome little place in Brick with great food. Can't believe it's been there for 6 years and I never knew of it. (Thanks Yelp). Authentic food made to order. I had the half chicken with yellow rice and pink beans. Friggin awesome. Papas Rellenos for an app was really good. Fried plantains on the side and I'm 2lbs heavier now. Place is BYOB so half bottle of sangria put me over the top. I will be back for sure.

  • Pete M.

Some of the best chicken i have ever had. The green hot sauce is amazing! Staff is friendly and price is very reasonable. A HIDDEN GEM!

  • Danielle N.

This is a hidden gem. On the small side, but friendly atmosphere and BYOB which is a plus. The chicken is amazing. The ceviche is excellent. The green hot sauce is delish! My husband has tried everything from the beef heart to the plantains and loves it all. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

    (4)
  • J M.

The place is a tad more expensive than most joints, but the food you get more than makes up for it. Beans, rice, steak, a fried egg, fried plantains, what?! Peruvian food is awesome! Their desserts are pretty terrific too. We joke every now and again hoping we don't get the teenager to wait on us, but he tries hard and the guy (who I'm assuming is his uncle or dad) watches him like a Peruvian hawk and makes sure we're getting decent service. It's kind of shoved behind a bunch of other businesses, but that's half the charm! Oh man and check out the enormous mural on the wall when first walk in!

  • Joe S.

Visited this restaurant while on a date & had a relaxing & casual romantic time without breaking the bank. Will gladly return!

  • Ben P.

I come for the anticuchos, the papa ala huancaina and the green sauce. Their chicharones is pretty good too. Only been here 5 times, once with my son who is half Peruvian, and always had great meals. The chicha morada is different but enjoyable. Also tried the corn with kernels as big as the tip of your little finger. Very good food and great staff! Still have to try aji de gallina, the rotisserie chicken, lomo saltado and a lot more.

Awesome meal! Dinner for 6 and everyone loved their food. Total check was $100 plus 2 leftover boxes because the servings are large.

Food here is always excellent, never had a bad meal. Service is always very fast and friendly. My wife and I usually share a whole roasted chicken which is always on point , with sides of maduros and fries. Truly a hidden gem in Brick, definetely worth a try.

  • George B.

Best chicken! Best empanada. Best service. Best smell when you walk in the front door! The wife and I have been here quite a few times, it never disappoints. If you are looking for a solid meal at great prices, this is the place. BYOB

  • Jaclyn P.

This is actually a real hole in the wall. It is less than a half a mile from my house and have lived in Brick all my life and I only decided to try it because of nearby Yelp reviews. I'm really not that big on Spanish food anyways. Don't let the outside turn you off. They have awesome empanadas and you can really tell how fresh the ingredients are. Their rotisserie chicken is much better than the ones In the grocery store. You can stop in to get some take out for dinner or eat in because it is actually quite nice inside. Would reccomend for during the week take home dinners!

Who would've have thought that there's a Peruvian restaurant in ocean county? I'm always on the look out for diversified food. I found Super Pollo! It's like an answered prayer. It is delicious! Food is just like how I imagined it to be. Although pricey for a small place. Our bill came out to $80! For three ladies. We ordered the house special fried rice, empanadas (chicken and beef), whole chicken, ceviche and sodas. I cannot complain about the food. On the other hand the service was great but there was one waiter working and it was almost a full house on a Wednesday night. He was a little slow due to shirt staff but he remembered everything we asked for. Service is still great even if it was a little slow and food is nice. I will be back soon!

  • Michael D.

Well-run establishment with excellent rotisserie chicken. The majority of the menu is a great value, leading to a deserved 5-star rating for a quality $9 whole chicken. Won't be buying rotisserie chicken from anywhere else in the area since it's so wonderfully tender and moist here. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, and I will be back a few times per month. They could use more marketing and a logo revamp since I probably wouldn't have tried this place were it not for the great reviews here. I'm glad I did as this is one of the most tasty values in Brick!

Fantastic Peruvian good. The flan is delicious. Super tasty chicken. Tip: order the fried rice! Yes they have fried rice and it's super like and tasty.

  • Christina F.

Love this place. I need to order the Papa Rellena every time and it's one of the best things I've ever eaten. The lime marinated onions and green chili sauce compliment the flavors perfectly. Their chicken is superb too, especially the chicharron pollo that comes with the rice. I love the fried rice as well. The only reason I won't give them five stars is because sometimes the chicken and beef is a little over done and you can tell the vegetables come from a freezer, but otherwise this place is a must. Try the dulce de leche cookies for dessert too!

  • KimDennis L.

I don't even know where to begin. This is one of those hidden gems you rarely find but when you do, you wanna jump for joy. First of all the food is amazing. I got the ceviche with snapper, squid and shrimp, a half rotisserie chicken and a beef empanada plus a bottles water for $22 flat. Thats value. 2 dinner and an app for $22 bucks? And with amazing service on top of that. The food was awesome too. Totally homemade, completely fresh and not like anything else in the area. You MUST go to Super Pollo!

    (5)
  • Don B.

Their chicken is slap-your-mamma good! Juicy, flavorful, hot...absolutely perfect. I love all the side dishes too. I'm not familiar with Peruvian cuisine so it's fun to pair their awesome chicken with an adventurous side order. They have this funky green hot sauce that's pretty unique. It's good with everything, but particularly the chicken fried rice. The staff is friendly and the waiter (I've only seen the one dude working there) is very helpful. Good times!

I have been ordering take out from Super Pollo for over a year and have always been impressed with both the food and the service. The unassuming, dare I say goofy, chicken logo kept us away for years, and I thoroughly regretted this decision once I finally tried the food. The rotisserie chicken is divine, so melt-in-your-mouth moist and flavorful that we have given up on eating rotisserie chicken from anywhere else. Combined with the white rice, salsa criolla (red onion thinly sliced and cured in lime juice, salt, a bit of oil and cilantro), tostones (fried plantain pieces), and the wonderful green picante sauce, it is the perfect meal! However, do not be fooled. This restaurant is not only about the chicken; they have a full and varied menu filled with authentic Peruvian dishes. The ceviche is fresh, flavorful, and refreshing. If you are looking for an inexpensive, filling lunch or snack, the Papas Rellenas will do the trick; potato stuffed with spiced beef and served with a bit of salsa criolla on the side. We have not tried all of the dishes available, but there are many, and they all look wonderful when I wander in to pick up our take out...we cannot seem get away from the chicken because it is so good. En sum, a highly recommended hidden gem in the middle of Brick.

Great authentic Hispanic food in the area! Chicken is moist and seasoned so well, the rice and beans and platano maduro are so tasty. The prices are so reasonable you can't beat it.

What a hidden gem! Great peruvian good at more than reasonable prices. Portion sizes always leave you with enough to take home and enjoy another day. For an appetizer, try the papas rellenas... Seasoned ground beef stuffed in the middle of a potato ball and deep fried so the outside is crispy but the inside melts in your mouth. As an entree, you can't go wrong with ceviche, lomo saltado, or their TO DIE FOR roasted chicken!

This place is amazing, and I don't use that word loosely. They crank out great homemade food, most delicous fall off the bone rotisserie chicken you will ever taste. Seriously I feed my family of four for 2 days and it costs like $20. They know what it means to put heart and soul into the food and it shows. Ask for the green sauce. Mix it with mayo and ketchup it's the best dip/ sauce ever! Super pollo rules!!!!!

Finally got a chance to stop in. My mother and I both had half a chicken with a side. Their rotisserie chicken was the best I ever had. The portions were a good size and we left full. The bill was super-cheap too. Definitely will be frequenting this place. I'd like to try more Peruvian selections on the menu next time.

Awesome. Fish, steaks, beans and rice, tripe , best rotisserie chicken. Don't let location behind outback steakhouse fool you. Reasonable prices home cooking from the Andes.

This place is one of Brick's best kept secrets, in my opinion. I was in the Harbor Freight plaza one day, picking up some tools for a project I was working on, when I noticed the sign for Super Pollo. I used my expert translation skills (see also: terrible), and deduced that this was a chicken place that specialized in Latino cuisine. Okay, I'll give it a shot. Since it was my first time there, I decided on grabbing some take-out, and fairly tame stuff at that. For $7.50 or so, I got half a rotisserie chicken and two sides. Also, since my curiosity got the best of me, I ordered a cup of their "Chicha Morada" to go with it. When I got home and opened the bag, everything was very neatly packaged, and smelled downright amazing. The flavor did not disappoint, and I have to say this place probably has the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had. The chicha morada drink was fairly refreshing as well, and reminded me of a sort of iced apple cider. I've been back a few times in the last year or so, and one of my favorite things is the Pollo Gallina. Chicken in some sort of a yellow cream sauce. What makes it yellow? No clue, but it's downright decadent. For my first time having Peruvian food, I was very impressed, and have since added this place to my "rotation". Anybody reading this should give it a shot, too!

Super pollo is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The rotisserie chicken is possibly the best I've ever had, it's super flavorful and moist throughout. The green hot sauce that comes with it is also some of the best, freshest tasting hot sauce around. I also recommend the beef empanadas, the Maduros, and the ceviche mixto, all amazing dishes. It's BYOB and they also do takeout.

Stunning ceviche and Chaufas. All home made and the service was awesome. You cannot ask for more value for your buck. And the desserts were also really good.

There is a big lack of Spanish food, other than Mexican. When you're tired of Tacos, Enchiladas and Burritos (anything wrapped in a tortilla w/ beans), come to this place! They make the best marinated rotisserie chicken!! If you like spice, ask for the Ajito (green side sauce) for a kick. Thats the only thing I've ever ordered, so that's all I can comment on. It's easy to miss this place! It's in the shopping center off Brick Blvd where the Outback is. Its small, and the wait staff doesn't speak much English (the younger people behind the counter do though). The only negative is that when you call ahead for take out, your order is NEVER ready when you arrive. This is the reason they do not get 5 stars. They may want to work on it. They won't get your order ready until you get there, even if they tell you it'll be 15 minutes (and there is food available).

Just got back from hitting up Super Pollo and I couldn't be happier or more full! Between three of us we order shrimp ceviche, seafood in chili sauce, chicken, plantains, and a salad. Oh and to top it all off some off the chain delicious flan. There wasn't one bite that wasn't utterly fabulous and the ceviche, well if I had to eat just that for the rest of my life I wouldn't complain. As if the food wasn't fabulous enough the service was also absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to go back!

Good food at an amazing price. They were a little short staffed when we went though so it took a little while before we were able to be served

The rotisserie chicken is flavorful and of course the best part is the skin. Make your order complete with rice and beans and avocado salad. Shouldn't set you back more than $25 for two with some leftovers.

I have passed this place 1,000's of times and finally stopped in. The chicken is fantastic and the steak dinners are just as good. This is unique food for this area that is fantastic and priced right. The desserts are really good too. Great flan.

This is like the only Peruvian spot around here. The food is great and comes in massive portions. The chicken is always flavorful and tender. My favorite is the steak with yellow rice and beans. The place is a bit small but the staff is very courteous. I think it's better to go during the week when it's less crowded.
