We stopped here for lunch traveling back to Texas where Tex-Mex is king and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The red salsa is a little watery but has good flavor. The green salsa had a good bite to it and was good. The grilled flour tortilla on the taco was a nice touch. Will definitely stop here again if given the opportunity.

Cheese dip, about as thick as toothpaste. Frozen strawberry margaritas, WAY to much mix and didn't even get the slightest hint of tequila. Steak fajita salad, don't even have words, just gross. Waitress, awesome. Price, would have been fair for the amount of food. But not for the amount I was actually able to eat/drink.

Good Mexican food in small town of York, NE. The chili verde dinner was spicy, hot and had all the good flavors you expect. Red and green salsa tasted fresh and the server was nice and friendly. This is not a restaurant that will bring you a variety of unique dishes, but it gives you good versions of the classics. Friend ordered a combo dish and was very happy with his meal. Definitely worth the visit if your in the area...a break from the numerous coffee shops around central Nebraska.

yikes. no way. will not be back. the best thing at our table was the fries with my kid's burger meal. disappointing, at best. and, I must admit, my standards really are not that high. yet, this did not warrant a second try. there's another Mexican place in town well worth the drive in.

Glad we stopped here while on a road trip after asking the hotel receptionist for a recommendation. We were rewarded with very good meals after a days drive, nothing fancy just tasty meals that were well proportioned and served quickly. I had the fajitas and enjoyed every bite and noted the Salsa Verde was exceptional.

Delightful! It was delicious. The carne asada plate and their taco salad as well as the special dinner plate was great! We were the only group in there for most of dinner, not sire if it's always this empty but it was great! With a group of 11 people it was fast and efficient service. A friendly and quick dinner.

Food very bland. Not good Mexican food. The food was not what I would call Mexican food. Taco Bell does it better. Kinda high price for the portion sizes also

The server was friendly and the food was very good. I had the quesadia with chicken appetizer and had half leftover. They served refried beans with the complimentary chips. I've never seen that before. Dipping the chips in the beans and then the salsa was great.

The food was excellent. They grill the flour tacos, which tasted excellent. The decor-atmosphere needs some work. Outside of that everyone in my party enjoyed their meals.

Not bad but not great Mexican. Nebrexican maybe! Bland and flavorless for the most part. The salsa is hot but it's hot for the sake of heat, adds nothing to the flavor.

The food was good. The menu is VAST just Ned time to read it!! The salsa was hot yet lacked flavor. I enjoyed my tacos and enchilada. Not a lot of people there, so service was quick.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
